Elizabeth looked through the things that Kazuma had on him, none of it had any markings or insignias that she recognized and that meant that the boy wasn't anyone.

Granted everything the boy carried was made by people that knew their craft well but that didn't prove anything.

Kazuma could have easily picked several things off the ground and used them until the only things that remained were the things he had on him.

The boy was both a mystery and completely normal at the same time.

A mystery because he had nothing on him that showed her where he had come from and completely normal because that wasn't out of the ordinary these days.

He was just another orphan that someone had mistaken for something that he never was.

"So what are we going to do with him?" Reio asks her, as they look at the sleeping boy.

Elizabeth wanted to hit him for dropping his guard so easily, didn't he understand his situation? from the way he had spoken to her before she would have thought that he would be smarter than this, and yet Kazuma had trusted her and her team completely.

"What can we do, the higher-ups are still looking into him, and if the Leaf doesn't look for him, then it's up to him if he wants to stay or leave." she answers Reio.

"So what's your opinion?" she asks the third member of her team.

'He's too smart for his own good." he answers her, and throws a small bag of sand at Kazuma who wakes up in shock.

'What!?" Kazuma says as he looks around confused.

"Sorry, my hand slipped." Elizabeth hears him say to Kazuma, as he picks the toy up and throws it into the basket beside the boy.

"Here." Elizabeth says to her team as she hands them their share of the money.

"I'll keep him with me for now, after all, I made a deal with him, then we can kick him out when everyone realizes that he isn't anyone." she says to her team as she lays down and closes her eyes.

She doesn't bother to see her team leave, they can use one of the spare rooms if they want or they can just go home, it doesn't matter to her, she's just happy to be paid.

Kazuma covered his eyes as he walked out of the apartment, the redheaded woman walked next to him as she escorted him around the village.

He had lived in the city and when he went to Erises world he lived in a small town that wain in the country, but he had to admit that a village in the desert was probably the worst place he's ever been.

"So what do people do for work?" he asks the redhead who grins at him.

"What do you want to join us? or become one of our ninjas?" she asks him and Kazuma immediately shakes his head.

'No, I mean if I'm going to be here for a while I might as well get something out of it." he answers her.

"Let me think, work for an outsider. I got it." Elizabeth says with a cheerful voice while she snaps her fingers and makes Kazuma smile with anticipation.

He hadn't said anything before, but having traveled alone for a week, maybe more or maybe even less had left him with a desire to do something anything.

"Nothing!" Elizabeth announces as she sees the smile on Kazumas face vanish, she found herself unable to stop laughing while she looked at his angry expression.

'Look around you, does it look like we would trust outsiders with anything." she says to Kazuma as she tries to calm the boy down.

"Isn't there anything for me to do, I mean it's going to be boring if I can't just walk around alone and don't have anything to do." Kazuma says to her.

Elizabeth exhaled, he was right and she couldn't babysit him all of the time either, she had her own life to live and it didn't include him.

"Hold on." she says to Kazuma as she leads him to a large building filled with ninjas who stare at the two of them, before ignoring them again.

"Give me everything that no one wants to do both inside and outside of the village." Elizabeth says to the receptionist.

"Oh my are you in that much debt?' the receptionist says to her.

'It's not for me it's for him." Elizabeth says to the woman who begins to read the rules to her and reminds her that outsiders can't just start working in the village.

'Look, I can't watch him all day and he isn't a ninja and for reasons, I can't say he is going to be here for a few days." Elizabeth says to the woman, as she writes her name on a sheet of paper and hands it to the woman.

Kazuma watches as the receptionist stands up and walks into the back of the room, before coming out with a giant stack of papers.

'This is everything that needs to be done, it pays next to nothing and we will know if you didn't finish it." the woman says to Kazuma with a voice that shows how practiced everything she just said is.

"Okay, but how do I get paid?' Kazuma asks the woman who stops herself from laughing.

Unfortunately for him, Elizabeth didn't have the receptionist's self-control and so she began to laugh at him.

'Kid you crack me up, look just have them write their name on something and make sure it says that you did the job."

"That one will already know that you did t, but its the paperwork that proves that you did it, incase someone wants to keep your money here."

'I have you know that no one would steal this amount, but yes it's like Elizabeth said, finish your work and come back." the receptionist says to him as she hands him the pile of papers.

'So where is?' Kazuma asks both women who start to talk about something that he doesn't know about.

"What you're still here, you have work now, it's up to you to figure out where everything is." Elizabeth says to him as she goes back to talking with the receptionist.

Both women watch as he leaves the building and when they're sure that he can't hear them they stop talking and look at the door with cold eyes.

'Are you sure, if he does anything it's going to be on your head?" the receptionist says to Elizabeth who only smirks.

"And what can he do? half of those places are either empty or they're full of trash that no one goes near them."

"Not to mention that the papers you gave him weren't in order so he will be running from one side of the village to the other all day." Elizabeth says to the receptionist as she walks out of the building and jumps onto the roof.

She watches Kazuma as he stops a civilian and asks the man for directions.
