"Hey wake up." Kazuma hears Elizabeth say to him as he wakes up.

'What?" he asks her.

'I have a job to do, you're going to have to go and see what she has for you today, I'll be back by tonight." Elizabeth says to him before she walks out of the door.

The apartment was quiet, for a long moment, maybe a minute or perhaps two, Kazuma just lay on the floor, he closed his eyes and tried to sense if someone was spying on him.

His clairvoyance skill had allowed him to see Elizabeth without her ever knowing that he was aware that she had been spying on him the entire time that he was in the village.

He had to admit that he liked the attention even if it had been annoying from time to time, but now there was no one, he was alone again.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk, Elizabeth would be back by tonight and if she wasn't, then she would be back someday, he didn't have any doubts about it.

As he stood up and walked to the bathroom he remembers something that he hasn't had the chance to look at since he came here.

Kazuma couldn't help but smile as he reached into his pocket and felt his adventurer's card, every low-paying job that he did gave him points, granted that they weren't a lot of points, but they were still points.

He had seen a lot of skills back in his world, not the Earth that wasn't his home anymore or maybe it never was, no his world was where Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness were.

His life in this village came down to him being a janitor or someone you call to help you fix something that breaks in your house.

Even if the people here hadn't taught him any of their spells or hand seals, he had more than enough skills to choose from, and thanks to all of the work that they had given him, he had enough points to catch them by surprise.

So after washing his face and eating breakfast he went back to the giant building and did his usual routine, except something was different this time, the entire building was empty and only the receptionist was there.

Kazuma can hear his footsteps echo as he walks closer to the counter and as usual, the woman gives him a disapproving glare.

'You're late." she says to him, but she only gives him a single sheet of paper.

'What's this?" Kazuma asks her.

'Elizabeth is gone and with her your permit, this is the only thing that you can do, until she comes back." the woman says to him, but her eyes look worried.

'Thanks." Kazuma says to the woman as he takes the sheet of paper and walks out of the building.

As he leaves the receptionist lowers her head and takes a deep breath, she didn't want to do it, but she was ordered to.

Kazuma is an outsider and he has seen too much and learned too much because he's been ruining around doing chores for people, he has learned where everything is.

'He hasn't seen anything important." she says to herself, knowing full well where the boy is going.

The sound of the sand being crushed underneath his shoe seems to echo through the market and as Kazuma walks through it, he waves back at the people who greet him with smiles on their faces.

This was one of the things that he has learned about this place, is that just because it's the desert and it's hot, doesn't mean that people don't find ways to make themselves happy.

He finds the building that he's looking for, it's another abandoned building, that needs to be cleaned and the owner is too cheap to have it cleaned by anyone that charges more than spare change.

He looks around and sees everything that he needs and starts to clean.

The hairs on his head stand, as his eyes widen it was less than a second but in that second, Kazumas skills flared.

He throws the bucket of water onto the floor and freezes it, even as e uses it to avoid being killed by the dagger that is being held by...

"Why?" Kazuma says to her, his eyes showing how betrayed he feels.

Elizabeth throws the dagger at his feet while Reio and the third member of her team surround him.

The three of them don't say anything, as they each raise their weapons and prepare to attack him, a blast of wind and sand blows the doors and windows of the building open and Elizabeth along with her team walk in.

'I thought it was odd." she says as she glares at everyone in the room.

'Kazuma, the villages gates are open, run and don't turn back.' Elizabeth orders him.

"He's not going anywhere." the other Elizabeth says to her as her body begins to change into the form of a woman with long black hair.
