Elizabeth glares at her clone, she can understand why the group in front of her was trying to kill Kazuma.
Hell, she could even understand why they had him come to this building and why they had waited for him to be focused on his work before they tried to kill him.
But what she couldn't understand was why they were making themselves look like her and her team.
The woman throws her dagger at Kazumas feet and orders him to, pick it up.
Elizabeth can't help but feel her blood move within her veins, so that was what they were planning, this wasn't an assassination, no this was something completely different.
The woman's illusion was already breaking and so were the illusions of her teammates, these people wanted Kazuma to fight back, they wanted the boy to try and kill her, and they wanted to create a fissure between them.
"It's over." Elizabeth says to the woman as the woman's illusion completely dissolves.
The woman smirks and throws her weapons to the side. "You know they sent you three away for a reason." she says to Elizabeth.
The stranger's teammates begin to throw their weapons to the side and Elizabeth knows what they're planning to do, she can feel her blood pumping into her muscles and so she forces herself to stay keep her anger under control.
She can hear Reio and Maz discarding their weapons, and so she begins to do the same.
"Kazuma, why the hell are you still here, get out!' she yells at Kazuma.
'I can." Kazuma tries to argue with her.
'Get out!"
"They plan to make you fight and if you fight that means you are a threat, but you are still a kid, a kid that can be trained." Elizabeth explains to Kazuma.
"He's not going anywhere." the woman says to her, but Elizabeth doesn't say anything she just lets her blood flow and with it her anger.
She doesn't expect Kazuma to make it out of the walls of the village, but if the boy is nowhere near the building when the guards arrive, then they have to let him go.
She ducks and avoids the imposter's punch before she grabs the woman's hand, uses it to pull her closer to herself, and drives her fist into the woman's ribs.
She hears the sound of the woman's ribs breaking as her enhanced strength makes quick work of whatever reinforcements the woman has done to herself, in case of this situation.
The cries of pain and the sounds of bodies hitting the floor tell her that her team is done fighting, and surprise surprise the guards come just as they finish fighting.
"What happened here?" one of the guards asks, as he pretends not to know what was happening.
"We were going to have fun, you know let out some stress, but she brought those two and I'm not into that sort of thing." Elizabeth says to the man who nods.
"I see." the man says as the rest of the guards pick up all of their discarded gear.
'It was my understanding that the boy that you are taking care of would be cleaning this building." he says to her.
'I told him to leave the village and get as far away as he can before I start looking for him.
You know I have to show him how to hide properly or else the other kids will just laugh at him." she says to the guard who frowns at her words.
"Leave this one with her team, bring those three with us, they can tell us their side of the story later." the guard says to his men as they drag the imposters away.
"Pick everything up, I have something to do." Elizabeth says to her friends.
"Even if you do it, they won't just let him go. They'll send someone else to bring him back." Maz says to her.
'I know, but a deal is a deal." Elizabeth says to Maz before she makes her way to the Missions Office and hands the receptionist her petition to let Kazuma leave the village.
The headache behind the desk glares at her but doesn't say anything, all that's left is for someone to look at the piece of paper and she can get Kazuma out of the village before something else happens.
Unfortunatly for her luck was not on her side.
