Guys.. Jujutsu Kaisen is not in this fic.. Jujutsu is a form of Japanese Martial Arts.
So.. I've been gone for two months! Sorry had to deal with school and life, though I was able to write this chapter it's pretty short. Well 7,000 words to me is short. I'm going to try and upload bigger chapters since Christmas break is coming up and I'm going to be more free.
New season is pretty interesting, Lore wise at least. I did do some more rewriting on the past 20 chapters and hell I really wanted to punch my past self in the face. I didn't know what went over me, pretty horrible writing or lazy. I guess I just wanted to get those chapters over with. I fixed a lot of grammar mistakes and some typos as well.
Oh yeah, Another thing I messed up on chapter 20. Both Light and Dark Elemental's are still with Sivert, I thought about giving the dark greater elemental to the warlock Kaguya but then I looked back and just kept it with Sivert.
Another big change, one I should've done way earlier but I was to consumed by my crazy imagination and excitement to just keep shooting out chapters with no care whatsoever. (Is what my friend told me when she skimmed over it.)
The Light Elemental is no longer a Grand Elemental, if I had known how truly powerful they were stated in the Light Novels I would not have gave Sivert something like that. That and their egoless as well.
So I nerfed it to a Elemental Lord, still pretty powerful but not crazy powerful like a Grand Elemental. I also nerfed the Dark Elemental to a Greater Elemental.
Also with some discussing and showing my friend some Destiny lore of 'The Guardian' she agreed that he would be a powerful force in the Tensura Universe as well.
He'd be a 'walking anomaly.' is what she said. After some more digging she got excited and helped make him look truly powerful.
Which is why I also changed a few more things, during the second year of working with Guy and becoming a True Hero. Sivert fights Guy in a battle that lasted weeks, thanks to the barrier enacted by the True Dragon Velzard the world wasn't destroyed.
However after fighting hard and exhausting himself he finally defeated the Demon Lord, forcing him to admit the defeat. This is where Guy starts to 'fear' Sivert, it only gets worse when he fights Velzard and after weeks of fighting. Defeats her as well.
Before this change Sivert never defeated them, he simply fought them. So we figured his work of 'pulling off the impossible' would be a good logical explanation for why Guy feared him and sent him to the Underworld.
Uh another change, Sivert was more closer with Guy and Velzard but of course after the betrayal he resents both of them now.
That's about it, there will most definitely be more fixes since I'm rereading the Light Novels. Trying to shove all that information in my head with Destiny Lore is exhausting.
I will give a warning though, things will get crazier for Sivert in the next few chapters. So be prepared just in case you leave..
Chapter 23, The Warlock's Sword
The cavern was dark, the only light coming from the torches on the cave walls. There were a few lifeless bodies on the ground.
Not human…
"Nimerah! What do we do?..." The reincarnated warlock heard her name called by a Hunter under her command.
She was in this dark cavern with her followers, her friends. Their numbers small but they were a force to be reckoned with.
5 Guardians stood in this cavern.
And 5 currently stared and aimed their weapons at a beautiful women with dark blue hair and eyes with pointy ears like that of an Elf.
She had two black jagged horns on her forehead.
A Demon..
An Arch Demon Nimerah guessed due to its powerful presence. She's been in this cursed world for 80 years yet she's never seen one.
This demon wore a black combat like dress with a black skirt that reaches to her thighs. She had two long black heel boots.
"Why are you here demon?" Nimerah asked as she gripped tightly onto her unique grade staff.
"I came at the orders of my master to eliminate these creatures. Though it seems you finished the rest for me. I would have killed you all if you did not possess the Light."
Nimerah's eyes widened.
This demon knows about the Light. She didn't even bother asking why though since the second the word Light escaped the Demon's mouth.
Nimerah and her fireteam felt Darkness radiate from the demon.
Powerful Darkness.
"You're a Disciple of Darkness!" Nimerah hissed as she channeled her solar Light through her staff.
Her beautiful blue eyes were now full of hostile intent.
The demon was unfazed, "I am a servant to my beloved Lord whom has gifted me the Darkness to counter the Light." She explained as she took a step forward.
"There is a Temple east of the Kingdom of Ingrassia, built into a mountain surrounded by a forest. Go there if you wish to meet other Lightbearer's."
Immediately Nimerah was shocked by those words.
"And to meet my Lord if you wish." The Demon turned around and was enveloped in some sort of orange darkness energy before vanishing.
Nimerah would remember those words. And she would go there with her fireteam.
A Week Earlier
Treant Forest
The Hunter wore the same outfit Rimuru and Shuna made for him a month ago. A well-made open long black jacket with a dark golden interior. Black pants that came with a brown belt and golden buckle and black boots. To finish up, he had two fingerless gloves.
Even though he looked like a resident of Darkness, he liked the outfit.
He was currently laying all the way down on a wooden long, his right leg rested on it while his left leg remained facing down towards the ground.
Sivert rested his head on both his hands as he looked up at the blue sky. It was a nice peaceful day.
He found the Treant Forest to be a good relaxing spot. Aria was also here but she didn't reveal herself even though Sivert told her it was safe to.
"Hm?"
The quietness that lasted for quite some time was broken, Sivert heard a small buzzing sound.
Like a bee.
He turned his head to the right and spotted a familiar face carrying a jar of honey.
"Lord Sivert. Forgive me if I'm bothering you."
Sivert smiled a little and sat up, "No you're alright Apito."
He reached out his right hand and gave her a gentle pat on the head, Apito stayed silent, happily enjoying it.
When Sivert first met this adorable Army Wasp he was a little wary since the last one he met killed him before she died.
However Apito was different then the Insectars Sivert has met before. Same with her close friend Zegion.
She along with Zegion were both named by Rimuru, while Sivert knew what kind of Insectar Apito was.
He didn't know what kind Zegion was, but the Hunter feels like the big beetle will become pretty powerful.
Guess it's just his intuition that makes him think that.
Zegion and Apito both address Sivert with 'Lord' in it like the rest of the monsters in Tempest.
Apparently it was because he was already great friends with Rimuru and because of his strength along with his big heart. He treated everyone equally and with respect, earning him double the respect back.
He felt like a noble in Tempest and was always treated like one. It was nice..
"I brought honey for you." She raised the jar closer to him.
"Thank you."
Sivert gently grabbed it from her and placed it on his lap, he opened the jar and stuck a finger in it, scooping up some honey and putting it in his mouth.
"Mm.. It's good. Thank you again Apito."
The Hunter always enjoyed a nice treat. Especially some honey!
Apito gave a light nod and flew next to him, landing gently on the log he sat on.
"Where's Zegion at?" Sivert asked her as he looked around.
The two were together most of the time.
"He's at the town playing with the children."
Apito kindly answered. Sivert chuckled, that was surprising to hear. Usually when Zegion's not helping Apito with honey or protecting the Treants. He's mostly training, trying to get stronger.
Then again there was that one time where he caught a glimpse of the Insectar trying to make friends with Geld's help. So that supports Apito's words.
Maybe those children were his friends along with Geld.
"I see. You're not going to go play with them?"
Apito shook her head. "I saw you here so I decided to make a jar of honey for you."
Sivert felt his heart flutter at those words. She was so adorable and kind!
Being able to talk with such an intriguing lifeform was much better then fighting it. If she had not been taken in my Rimuru Sivert most certainly would've taken her in and treat her like a queen.
She's so nice!
"Thank you again.."
Sivert gave her another gentle pat on the head, giving her a pat on the head reminded him of Shiva and Fenrir when he would pet them.
Those two are currently training in his Throne World, they grew a little bigger but still had ways to go.
It'd take a few more years before they can reach their full potential.
"Lord Sivert.. your very bright."
Apito whispered, Sivert simply smiled and looked up at the bright blue sky again. He closed the jar of honey and sighed.
In the midst of looking back up he felt a little weight on his right thigh, he looked down and saw Apito laying her head on it.
She was knocked out, he assumed she was extremely exhausted, perhaps from overworking to hard just to produce one full jar of honey for him..
Well he planned on visiting Rimuru to have him try out his wine but he can just sit here and wait until she wakes up.
It was silent in the office, drops of sweat ran down the Hunter's face. Even his ghost was nervous for some reason.
Sitting on the chair behind their desk was Rimuru, his two Subordinates Shion and Shuna were with him.
Shion bore a proud smile while she kept both her hands behind her back. Shuna gave her usual beautiful kind smile, Sivert wondered if she truly was an angel. She must be! Because the Angels Sivert's was told of in this words were vicious bastards.
Sivert's dark golden eyes turned back to Rimuru's desk.
Right now Sivert had his own red wine placed on Rimuru's desk.
He put all his heart into it. Rimuru reached out his right hand for the cup on his desk.
He lifted the cup slightly, immediately Rimuru was amazed by the aroma. It smelt good!
Rimuru lifted the cup more, placing it on his lips, pouring it inside his mouth and taking it in.
"!?"
Rimuru's entire world stopped. This..
This wine was amazing! It felt like his entire existence just drank it. He tasted every bit of it. It was a drug to him..
The wine was like no other he's had. He could not describe it, it was just like red wine however it had a very unique taste.
Rimuru finished drinking his cup, and slammed the cup on the table.
The smiles on his subordinates faces vanished, was their beloved Great Rimuru poisoned?
Or was he displeased?
Rimuru had his eyes closed, he stood up and opened them.
"That was amazing!"
He shouted with an expression full of awe.
Rimuru wanted another cup, it was a desire that was born the second he finished it.
"Thank you.." Sivert chuckled, Rimuru's expression was a little funny.
"You have to try this."
Rimuru grabbed the wine bottle on his desk and poured three more cups, two for Shion and Shuna and one more for him.
The two beautiful women accepted their beloved great Rimuru's offer and took a sip.
Just like Rimuru, their eyes widened in amazement and they fell for it.
"Very sweet and bitter." Shuna gave her opinion, Shion was too busy savoring the taste to even give hers.
"Sivert! What's in these?"
Rimuru had to ask!
"Oh a mix of the fruits you supplied me with."
That wasn't the answer Rimuru wanted. "The recipe what fruits didn't you put in it?"
Sivert stared in Rimuru's golden eyes in silence.
His lips slowly parted.
"Sorry but I'm not going to say."
Rimuru felt like he was impaled in the heart with a sword by his friend.
"Brewing this wine was a fun experience for me. I put all my effort into it so I don't want my creation to be in the hands of others so they may make it and sell it to benefit themselves. It's selfish I know but that's how I am." Sivert kindly explained with a small smile on his face.
Aria who floated next to him bobbed her shell up and down, nodding in agreement with her Guardian.
"I see.. you will be making more though right?"
Though he was a little disappointed from the answer, Rimuru would not force Sivert to reveal the recipe.
"Of course. Maybe not all the time but I will make more."
Rimuru let out a sigh of relief after hearing that.
"How much have you made so far?"
Sivert lifted his right hand, showing 2 fingers.
"Two bottles."
Now Rimuru felt like he was shot in the soul.
Only two?! He yelled in his mind.
"I see then we'll have to treasure this wine." Rimuru mumbled, Shion and Shuna sadly nodded in agreement with him.
"Now.."
Rimuru cleared his throat, "I'd like to speak with Sivert privately."
Shion and Shuna bowed. "Of course Great Rimuru."
The two walked towards the exit of the office and left not before closing the doors though.
Sivert felt the whole mood change once they left.
"Sivert.. do you have any plans to sell this wine?"
That was a very important question for Rimuru. Sure the Hunter didn't want to give the recipe but there was nothing wrong with making his own profit, and Rimuru could help with that.
"Uh.."
Sivert turned and looked at Aria, she was silent.
He turned back to look at Rimuru. "Not right now no."
Rimuru crossed his arms and gave Sivert a very disappointed look. Even after all he's taught him about living a fun and life, it seems he never truly paid attention about making money.
"Fufu.. it seems I still have much to teach you."
Sivert raised his left eyebrow. "What?"
Rimuru shook his head. "Never mind. I'll explain another time. Right now I wanted to talk to you about Shizue-san's wish."
Hearing her name made Sivert show his serious face.
"You've been a great help these past four months. Protecting the town, helping around with labor, even helping Hakurou train with Gobta and the others. Since all my work is done. I'm going to be going to Ingrassia so I can meet the children she was teaching."
The Hunter gave a short nod, showing he understood. He was worried though, Ingrassia was a big kingdom and there are threats there that have a chance of taking Rimuru out.
"I want you to come with so you can meet them."
Sivert looked down once those words escaped Rimuru's mouth.
"Sorry. I would love to but I have some.. things to take care of."
Those things being going back to his Temple and to his Throne World. He wanted to check with Vince and then..
Go to the Ascendant Plane, where the Black Fleet remained.
Sivert wanted to explore a few Pyramid Ships. He knows not all of them were just like the Europa Pyramid or the Lunar one.
After that he wanted to explore the Ascendant Plane, just out of curiosity. It was massive and there were bound to be remaining Hive.
Of course Sivert wasn't going to tell Rimuru all of this, it doesn't feel like the right time to say 'Oh hey! I have my own dimension and I can move words between dimensions!'
Yeah it most certainly isn't the right time.
"Oh.. well I guess you have been here most of the time. I bet the Guardians back at the Temple miss you Haha! Alright then.."
Disappointing but Rimuru wouldn't pressure Sivert.
"Don't worry, I may not be here but a few fireteams usually come to Tempest when their done with training. Your nation will be safe."
Rimuru smiled, "I hear a fireteam of Guardians can kill even a god. So hearing that bring me joy."
He was confident in the protection of his nation, his people. The Guardians have proven to be helpful, Hell even a few of them have taken of part time jobs so they could earn points to pay for things.
Sivert shrugged at those previous words. "Yes.. they could perform such a feat as long as they trust in each other and stand strong."
Rimuru chuckled, he's glad to have made such allies.
"Alright then. Oh before you leave.. if you don't mind. I'd like if you could tell me about Shizue-san's other students. The other two she taught."
Sivert gave a light nod.
Temple of Light, A Day Later
The Hunter opened his eyes and looked up at his white ceiling. He woke up from a nice rest in his room at the temple since the house Rimuru had planned for him wasn't finished.
Which is why the Warlock Lyra is currently clinging to him, having a young beautiful women like her be so close was a perk but she hugged him like a teddy bear.
"I have nightmares.. can I sleep with you again?"
Sivert remembered her words clearly last night. So he let her sleep in the same bed with him, if only he had known she'd be so clingy. He might've changed his mind.
"Good morning.."
He heard a whisper and felt warm air brush against neck.
Sivert turned his head slightly to the right to find her awake.
The young beautiful women with silver hair and eyes, her skin was white and she her body was..
Developed.
A perfect… body.
"Lyra time to get up."
Sivert said her name but she closed her eyes and pouted. It was obvious she didn't want to move, he didn't blame her. Sivert can barely get out of this comfy bed himself without Aurora or Blair dragging him off.
Sivert looked down at her body, she wore her sleepwear but it was still easy to see her growth. It's only been a few months and she grew a little taller and matured more.
"Your sleeping face is adorable but I have to get up.." Sivert whispered to her.
Lyra opened her eyes, rolling them after. She sat up, removing the covers off her body. She wore a simple white t-shirt and small soft black shorts.
She leaned over, moving her right leg over Sivert's waist and making herself comfortable on him.
"You flatter me." the Warlock replied, leaning down and placing her head on his chest.
"You have a busy day.." she whispered to him as she closed her eyes.
He did which is why she needs to get off him!
Sivert would love to stay in bed with his best friend and be her teddy bear to cling to but he couldn't. Being so close with such a beauty was a perk!
Is what Rimuru taught him.
Sivert looked down at her, examining her body. A perfect physique, good arm strength and leg strength, though her..
Her breast were pretty big, not large or massive but just a little over perfect. And they were pressing against his chest!
Another perk!
Sivert cheered himself on mentally, he knows Rimuru would praise him.
As he enjoyed her warmth he just remembered something which made him examine Lyra again, and something that might get her off him.
"Hey.. since you grew some more. Want to try on your armor?" he asked her.
Lyra quickly opened her eyes and looked up at him.
"Hm.. I'm more fit and a little taller than my old self. You think I'll still fit?"
Sivert look one long look at her.
He swore he saw a small apparition of Lyra's old self next to the current Lyra.
A young, kind but funny and beautiful women with a short brown hair and eyes.
Well..
She didn't look to different, just more beautiful and..
Sexier?
Sivert cursed his recently born lewd mindset. He started having these type of thoughts after reading the picture books Rimuru called 'Manga.' The slime showed many types of different ones.
And even gave him one…
Lewd one.
The Hunter was scolded by Aria when reading that one but he couldn't help it! Such babes in a book? He has to read it! It's the part of being a man!
"Yeah I'm sure. If not I can fix it." Sivert assured with a gentle smile.
Lyra rolled her eyes again, letting out a small sigh and dropping back down on him.
She reached both her arms out and gently rubbed her hands over Sivert's hair.
The Hunter noticed she was a little too close.
"Alright then.. I was hoping to stay like this longer."
Lyra enjoyed being close with him. She's not sure if to call it love since she's never experienced such feelings.
Her heart doesn't beat fast when she's this close to him, or even when she'd constantly think of him.
She's just so close with him, her trust for him was powerful. Their bond was strong.
All of that and clinging to him in bed makes her feel more comfortable. She doesn't have nightmares anymore either.
"We can."
Sivert quickly changed his mind! Cuddling with her was one of the best things to happen to him, so a little longer couldn't hurt...
Lyra smiled a little and giggled.
"Maybe next time. Just start inviting me ok?"
Her silver eyes gazed into Sivert's dark golden eyes. The Hunter swore her eyes would suck him in..
Her gaze was poisonous since she looked so beautiful.
"I will.."
He would, every night and be her teddy bear.
Hearing that Lyra leaned closer, "Now you won't have an empty bed anymore."
She whispered as she got closer.
Sivert could feel her warm breath brush against his cheeks.
"A reward for slaying my nightmares."
Lyra said before helping herself to giving him a quick kiss on the left cheek. Sivert was not embarrassed nor surprised.
She's done this before though he hopes to kiss her on the lips one day.
She's only done this on the cheeks, never on the lips. Sivert's already been kissed on the lips by two women so he missed that feeling.
The first being a fellow student and the second being a True Dragon itself.
The Icy Beauty appeared in Sivert's head when he thought of her, she was a beauty!
Then an embarrassing memory came back. No.. Guy's female form was even more beautiful. Sivert was almost seduced one night because of Guy's charms.
As much as he hated admitting it. Lyra wasn't as beautiful as that, nor was Velzard..
Shame..
Sivert enjoyed those small moments with Guy's female form and the Icy Beauty. But after that day he resents both of them. They both betrayed him, used him.
Which is why the Hunter will savor these moments with his close friend. For she and Aria were the only people he could truly trust.
"Let's go take a bath now. I want to try on my armor already." Lyra sat up and grabbed his hands.
Sivert nodded, he would savor the next few moments as well. To bathe with her..
Another perk!
An Hour Later
The Hunter walked out of his closet he wore the same outfit from yesterday. A well-made open long black jacket with a dark golden interior. Black pants that came with a brown belt and golden buckle and black boots. To finish up, he had two fingerless gloves.
He placed his Ace in his offhand holster and placed his sheathed Katana around his waist just like Rimuru does.
There was a knock on his room door and he went to open it, standing there was Lyra.
Her silver hair was braided. She wore a black shirt with black pants and boots.
One of her training outfits.
"Alright I'm ready. I made sure to let Aurora know we'll be gone for a while. She seemed a little angry though. Probably because you stopped looking for the Scorn Base." Lyra told him as she entered the room.
Sivert shrugged, he couldn't find them. Nor could he even sense the Darkness in their ether, he had a plan though. Maybe getting a Demon to look for it wouldn't be so bad.
"I'll help again once we get back." Sivert closed the door to his room and locked it.
Lyra turned around to look at him, "To your Throne World. That's where my vault is right?"
Sivert gave her a quick nod.
Before that though he wanted to give Lyra something. He reached for his jacket pocket and pulled out a jet black ring with golden engravings on it.
"Here."
He held it out towards her.
Lyra looked down at it, crossing her arms and raising a brow out of confusion.
"A magic ring with Light in it. You're the first and currently the only one who has one. I plan on giving Vince one as well. You'll be able to travel to my Throne World freely from now on."
Her eyes slightly widened in surprise.
"Oh. Thought you were proposing."
Sivert snickered from those words and Lyra smiled.
"Thank you." she reached out her right hand and Sivert put it on her ring finger.
Lyra brought her hand back and got a closer look.
"Guess I'm Lyra Light now Fufu.." she teased and gave him a wink.
Sivert rolled his eyes while smiling. Her teasing will be the death of him. "Let's go now."
He took a step closer to her, once he was close enough he used warped to his Throne World with her using Darkness.
King's Domain
A large land of Ice, the cold winds were enough to freeze Enlightened Humans to death and harm Saint's.
This was a continent in Sivert's Throne World, since it got more massive after killing the Witness Sivert added more to it.
This land was similar to Europa and laying in the distance was a Pyramid Ship. Sivert saw this type of terrain to be fit to place his Pyramid Ship at.
Currently, across a massive ocean was the Titan Vince, working peacefully on a tropical island.
It was like a permanent vacation!
"Will have to visit Vince after this." Sivert whispered, he placed his hand on Lyra's shoulder and transported to his Pyramid Ship using Spatial Transportation.
The two arrived inside a large dark open room.
"I hate that I miss these walls and floors." Lyra muttered as she looked around. Despite being creepy, she likes the Pyramid Ships.
They were intriguing and she hopes one day Sivert will let her research on its technology. She knows the other warlocks are thirsty for the knowledge they hold but Sivert has yet to allow them.
The two stood before a large black wall that slowly split open, revealing a large white room.
"Hm? What is the enclave doing here?" Lyra asked and pointed at the resonance engine in the middle of the room.
"It's a copy.. I just put it in here when I fixed this room up."
Lyra didn't like that, being able to copy a machine that was kind of a time machine.
But since Sivert was in control, it didn't bother her too much. She followed Sivert inside the room.
"Huh. Your stuffs in here to? You just put our vaults together?"
Sivert only nodded in response, he looked at the white wall on the right side of the room.
All his weapons and armor were on the wall, cleaned and well taken care of. On the left side of the room was the same case.
Lyra's weapons and armor were on the wall.
"Oh it's good to see all of you again.." Lyra jogged over to her side to her observe her babies. Just like Sivert, she was obsessed with her weapons.
"I can't believe I forgot I had so much armor.. this will take a while." She said, turning around to look at Sivert.
"Take your time."
She smiled and looked back at the wall, Lyra was like a child skimming through their big toy collection.
Sivert waited patiently and she finally chose her outfit.
(Hood of the Exile Helmet, Osmiomancy Exotic Gloves, Pyrrhic Ascent Vestment robes, Transversive Steps with mind striders ornament. Celestine Bond. Carbon Blood Shader on helmet, New Age Black Armory on the rest.)
Lyra slowly put her helmet on and the visor glowed blood red once she did.
Oh she fit perfectly into her armor, it was easy to move around in, much easier than before.
"Oh wow.." Lyra gulped as she looked into the mirror Sivert created for her.
She looked menacing.
Now it was time to choose a weapon, it's been a while since she's last used a gun but Lyra would usually follow Sivert's footsteps and choose a Handcannon.
But..
She didn't feel the passion she used to have for a gun, she wanted something quick but also deadly.
"Hm.." she found herself staring at an old sword of hers hanging on the wall. One given to her by Shaxx after he lost a bet to her.
(Raze Lighter from D1)
Lyra reached out and grabbed the sword, taking it off the wall.
She's never used it before but she's pretty sure flames need to appear on the blade..
Is it broken? She could not help but mentally ask.
The Warlock turned around and walked towards Sivert, he was holding a small grenade launcher in his hands, examining it while talking to Aria. (Dead Messenger.)
"Hey Sivert. This blade.."
Sivert turned his attention to her and placed the grenade launcher on a white rectangle table. Aria flew over to continue examining it for him.
"Oh! Raze Lighter. I haven't see that for some time." The Hunter replied with a cheerful tone.
Lyra could not help but raise an eyebrow after hearing that. "You.. know this sword?"
Sivert crossed his arms and gave a light nod. "Yup. It was originally mine but I gave it to Lord Shaxx since I stopped using swords around that time. Huh I thought you remember me using it."
Lyra stared at him for a moment, "You avoided me around 'that time.' Remember? When your old fireteam died by Oryx. You didn't talk to me and when I tried talking to you, you'd just come up with some random excuse to get away from me."
The Hunter was struck hard by those words. He did do that, he would avoid Lyra and his other friends since he was afraid to get them killed. It felt like Death surrounded him wherever he went..
But unlike the others she persisted, waiting outside his room or following him through the system.
It wasn't until she found him relaxing by a nice lake surrounded by a forest on earth. She tackled him into that small lake when he tried to leave, removing his helmet and punching him while crying.
Thanks to Lyra's tears, Sivert was able to talk with his friends again though he still did prefer to be alone most of the time.
"Yeah sorry about that.." Sivert uncrossed his arms.
The room was quiet and the mood was awkward until Lyra spoke.
"Don't worry about it anymore, I'm with you still even after dying and losing my light once already. Being here with you now shows that were inseparable. Just don't try and avoid me or leave me again or I'll cut your manhood off."
Her eyes and voice were cold as she threatened him with a cruel punishment.
"I won't I swear!"
Sivert's never been threatened that way but he was only scared because he knows Lyra was dead serious.
Lyra smiled and went back to the topic.
"Good boy. Now is this sword not supposed to be on fire?"
Her question made Sivert regain his composure. He looked back down at the sword.
"Oh. It's Light has been burnt out. Probably from not being used for a decade. Vince could probably reforge it. Make it stronger. Want to go see?"
Lyra looked down at the sword, "Sure. I'd like to try it out."
Sivert was glad to hear that, he was also curious on how much Vince has grown. "Alright then. Aria you done?"
The Hunter turned around, "Yup! We should be able to finish it later."
Her quick response was all he needed.
"Great. Let's go visit Vince."
The two arrived on the beach of a beautiful tropical island. Lyra didn't expect this type of scenery.
She turned around and looked at the endless blue ocean. The bright sun shined on her and Sivert.
"Over here."
Sivert grabbed her attention and she followed him down a dirt trail that led into a small forest with small trees.
Lyra was flabbergasted from all of this! She knew Vince left to the Throne World to safely practice his smithing skills but to think he was having a vacation pissed her off!
She increased her speed and marched up next to Sivert.
"Hey where's my private island at?"
Sivert turned his head slightly to the right to look at her. "What do you mean?"
Lyra placed both her hands on her waists.
"I mean where's my own beach where I can relax in a bikini and drink some whine or eat fruits?"
Lyra stopped once she spotted a nice beautiful house in the distance. Her lips parted and she continued.
"And where's my vacation house?"
Oh..
That's what she meant. Sivert didn't see this as a private island though but if Lyra wanted one..
"Do you want one?"
Lyra quickly nodded in responded, "Yeah! I would love a spot to relax and enjoy life at."
"Ok. I can make you one later."
Sivert's casual reply was not what Lyra expected but she wouldn't protest.
"Yay!"
She shouted like a happy child before clinging to his right arm. Seeing her happy made the Hunter smile, he continued walking down dirt path.
As they got closer two loud barks were heard.
Running out of the front doors of the house were two dire wolves, An all white dire wolf with golden eyes and an all black dire wolf with golden eyes. Shiva and Fenrir!
They ran towards the Hunter at fast speeds, tackling him and giving him many kisses.
"Yes.. I missed you guys to.. Haha!" Sivert laughed and gave both of them pets. They were both still so adorable.
Lyra watched with a smile on her face, seeing her friend happy despite all that happened really brought joy to her. She planned on getting him another pet as a gift one day.
Like a cat!
"Oh hey Sivert!"
Walking out the entrance was the Titan Vince, he wore a black tank top with black pants and boots. His brown hair seemed to have gotten longer and his brown eyes were full of excitement.
"Vince. Good to see you again." Sivert returned the greeting as he stood up.
Vince's brown eyes shifted to the Warlock standing to Sivert, she removed her helmet revealing her face.
"Oh? Lyra?! You look amazing!" Vince shouted.
"Thank you." Lyra still wasn't used to these compliments, even from Sivert who compliments her every damn day.
"Nice to see you in your armor to. So what brings you two here?" Vince crossed his arms and asked, standing proudly in the process.
"Think you could reforge that and give it an upgrade?" Sivert pointed at the sword on Lyra's back.
She removed it and showed it to the Titan.
"Woah! This is Raze Lighter! Where did you get it?!"
Just as Sivert expected, Vince would recognize it, Aurora did say he was so in love with the swords back at the tower.
"My vault. Lord Shaxx gave it to me after he lost a bet. I never used it though." Lyra handed the sword to the Titan.
He held it with utmost care as he examined it.
"Oh man.. I've been dreaming of working on a sword like this. Yeah I should be able to with my unique skill 'Master Smith.'"
Lyra's eyes slightly widened in amazement. "You got a unique skill? How?"
She didn't even have one! Nor did most of the Guardians in the Temple! Only Astraea and the Titan Blair had one!
Having a unique skill was extremely rare, even for most of the guardians who were Stray Otherworlders.
"Not sure but Sivert says it was most likely the Light's influence. By reflecting on my desire to create weapons and armor for my friends it guided the energy within me and forced a unique skill to be born."
Sivert gave a small nod in confirmation. His case was the same as Vince's, when Sivert came to this world he didn't immediately gain a unique skill.
He acquired one only a month or two later and then his second one that was affiliated with the Darkness more later. He's not sure how though since usually magicules are needed for one to acquire a unique skill.
Which is why a human having a unique skill was rare and why nations summon otherworlders since their physical bodies are broken down and rebuilt with enormous amounts of energy. That excess energy takes the form of the hosts desire, often as a skill or resistance.
Vince's Master Smith skill was very powerful, not in terms of combat but in terms of creating powerful weapons.
Ignis- Allows the user to infuse Light and add special abilities to his creations with the Hammer of Sol.
Prodigy Smith- The User's skills and knowledge in smithing dramatically increase through time the more they practice.
Goldmine- Allows the User to forge Legend Grade Equipment.
When Sivert learned of this he made sure Vince would keep it a secret and not tell anyone unless he trusted them dearly.
As of now, only Sivert knows of the skills abilities and the Titan has yet to forge any Legend Grade equipment.
"Right.. let's go to my workspace." Vince turned around and walked towards his house but he suddenly stopped which made Sivert and Lyra stop.
"By the way.. I killed a Knight Spider nearby. Mind telling me how the hell it got here?"
That sudden question piqued Lyra's curiosity.
She and Vince turned to look at Sivert, he chuckled nervously.
"Uh.. sorry. From time to time I have to come to my Throne World and release my Aura after keeping it in for so long. It seems my Throne World is already bathed in my magicules. So it's no surprise that monsters are being born here."
Sivert explained as he scratched the back of his head. He didn't think it would be a problem since none of the guardians were affected by it.
"Right your not human.. so you have magicules. But why do you need to hold it in your Aura?" Lyra could not help but ask.
"My Aura is True Dragon level possibly greater. Keeping it in so long is necessary or else I'd level everything and everyone around me while also birthing demon lord class monsters. That and because it's best not to attract unwanted attention."
His reply made Lyra a little nervous. He was a walking nuke!
"Is it like holding in a fart?"
She and Sivert looked at Vince who asked. A strange question yes but it was actually a good one.
"Uh.. sort of…"
Vince looked up at the sky, "Hm.. so you release it here. Does that mean there's most likely monsters in other places in your Throne World?"
Sivert gave him a nod of confirmation.
"Well.. if I die you know why." Vince said before turning around and walking into his house.
Lyra looked at Sivert and shrugged before following the Titan inside.
Sivert sighed, his two elemental's comforted him with praises as he followed the two inside. At least he has these two, they understand the struggles of holding in such tremendous Aura.
Vince led them into a large room inside his house, there was a forge in the middle of the room and several material's all around the room on the wooden tables.
It truly looked like a blacksmith's paradise in here.
"Alright.. let's get to work."
Sivert and Lyra made themselves comfortable on their own wooden chairs and watched Vince do his magic.
"Don't need that anymore."
To begin the process of reforging Raze Lighter Vince casually tossed the sword into the forge to be melted down. He didn't need it, only the crystal that came with it.
Vince was going to reforge it with a better material, Mithril! Rare in humanity and very strong type of magisteel mixed with silver.
Vince had a few chunks given to him by Sivert who got it from Rimuru.
Vince started smelting the Mithril and that took several minutes. Sivert noticed Solar Light was being used in the forge, this weapon would be a true weapon of Light!
Once it was finished he poured the smelted material in the frame he created and waited until it was ready.
There the Titan got to work, he called forth his Light. Summoning his Hammer of Sol and began working on the weapon. To see the Hammer of Sol be used like that amazed Sivert and Lyra.
The process was smooth and it was easy to tell from Vince's determination that Raze Lighter would become reborn much stronger than before.
Sivert could notice with the help of ultimate skill Lord of Light that Vince was using his unique skill in the process of working on this weapon. Was he planning on making it Legend Grade?!
He and Lyra waited for a whole 2 hours until the Titan finally finished. He raised the blade in his right hand and Solar Light began coursing through it.
The dormant crystal was active once again and the sword anew. While still possessing the same look it was ten times stronger than before.
"Hehe. What do you think?" Vince asked as he handed the flaming sword to Lyra.
Her silver eyes were full of awe as she reached out for the weapon, grabbing it gently.
She felt the weapon connect with her Light as soon as she carried it. The sword was bonded to her now.
"It's amazing! Thank you!"
Vince shook his head, "Don't thank me. I'm glad I was able to work on a beauty like her…"
The Titan's brown eyes were suddenly focused on the sheathed Katana on Sivert's waist.
"I'm going to go try it outside now." Lyra said before dashing out the workshop, Sivert took one long look at the blade before Lyra left with it.
Raze Lighter was Legend Grade! The Hunter was glad he got witness the creation of a Legend Grade weapon.
Sivert and Vince could hear a few explosions outside.
"This is amazing!"
They heard Lyra shout from outside, Sivert chuckled as more explosions occurred.
"Hey. That's the katana Kurobe made right? Can I see it?"
Sivert nodded and unsheathed the Katana, handing it to Vince.
"Damn. From being close to you all the damn time this thing is coated in your Aura. Let me just make a little upgrade."
Vince snickered mischievously for some reason, he raised his Hammer of Sol and tapped it gently onto the blade.
Light began to flow through the blade, changing it's color to jet black and golden engravings were implanted onto the blade.
"The hell?" Sivert's eyes widened in shock. Vince just turned his unique grade katana into a Legend Grade one!
"Hehe. My unique skill's doing. A little trick.. only works on weapons that have been coated in magicules for quite some time. It forces the upgrade." he handed Sivert's Katana back to him.
The Hunter immediately felt his Light bond to the Light within the katana. Suddenly Solar Light engulfed the blades.
Flames ten times hotter than the sun itself. If it wasn't for Sivert's quick reaction time to put a multi-layered barrier around Vince. He would've been scorched in an instant for being so close to it.
"No way. This has to have some cost right?" Sivert asked, simply upgrading a weapon's grade just like that should be impossible!
"Oh yeah. It has a seven month cooldown there's also me resting for four whole days.. tha- that's wh- why I'm feeling…. Snoozy."
Vince collapsed onto the floor, letting out snores immediately. Sivert looked down at him in silence.
"You really are one hell of a Titan.." the Hunter whispered in disbelief. He hopes there are more like Vince who have the passion of creating weapons.
He made sure to go and put Vince in his bed before departing with Lyra shortly after.
End!
