Now is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what there is.
- Ernest Hemingway, extract from The Old Man and the Sea
Luna sat before swirling darkness, holding her healed chest. Link was the first to appear from the shadowy portal, followed by the two women. Majora paused then leaned over, taking a good look at Luna then rearing.
"Something wrong?" Zelda asked.
Majora shook her head. "Thought she was someone else."
Luna put her hands on her lap, staring blankly at Link. "Hero of Time."
He made a quizzical look. "Do I know you?"
"You will." Luna stood.
"Don't mind her," Kibou remarked, "she's having an identity crisis."
"Not quite," Luna remarked.
"Well, OK then... How's your injury, though?"
"I'm fine." Luna clasped her hands behind her back. "Link, I am sorry you...had to return home only to see it in such conditions once again."
"Did something happen?" he asked as the demonic arms tapped their claws against the cliffs, all Wolfos jumping from branch to branch and scaring them away. "And the Great Deku Tree...what's wrong?"
"Yeah, what's going on in Kokiri Forest?" Kibou added. "I didn't see any Kokiri anywhere. I guess they're all looking for you, Luna."
Luna didn't reply. She walked forth, the grown-ups stepping aside. The child hit her right fist into her left palm, a blue glyph briefly flashing out her hands. The portal pixelated, dissipating upwards.
"Where'd you learn to do that?" Kibou asked, though Luna didn't reply.
The Wolfos hopped back down, tongues hanging, sniffing around and wondering what happened.
Luna struck her hands together a few more times, glyphs bursting. The demonic arms retracted into the shadows they spawned from, Wolfos running after them for a few bites, though the appendages pixelated into nothingness.
Shadowy glyphs floated out the ground and out the Great Deku Tree.
"What happened here?" Zelda asked.
"Something that shouldn't exist," Luna replied, shadowy glyphs fading away into vapor.
The Great Deku Tree groaned. He slowly shook, immense limbs creaking.
Link smiled. "Great Deku Tree, I'm back."
The Great Deku Tree yawned, wondering what happened. Hull groaning, he reared. "Link!? You're back! I thought you were dead!"
"So did I," the queen admitted.
"Me three!" Majora chirped, not wanting to be left out!
...And nobody cared.
"So much for being the wise, old tree," Kibou teased.
"I'm only, like, ten..." The sentient lord realigned himself. "Ahem... Welcome, Link. You have returned." The Great Deku Tree bowed to Zelda. "Welcome, Queen of Destiny."
Majora smiled, eyes big, facial spikes raising expectantly.
...And got no reaction. Her facial spikes wilted.
Zelda politely nodded to the Deku Tree. "An honor to be here, Great Deku Tree."
"Bold Luna and loyal Kibou, I am glad both of you are safely back."
Luna frowned, teeth clenching.
The Great Deku Tree's branches wilted. "Luna, I must apologize to you directly. I was so overwhelmed with my duties and the stresses of this impending evil, I failed to realize your suffering. I was too young to fully comprehend what you were going through. And for that, I am sorry. I pray you will find it in your heart to forgive me."
Luna's expression softened. She pushed her hand through her hair, Kibou reassuringly hovering close. She looked up at her guardian. "Of course I forgive you. You did nothing wrong. That's why I returned, to do what I am meant to."
The Deku Tree realigned. "I am so happy for you! Amid my horrible slumbers these past many moons, glimmers of hope radiate from those I once thought gone forever." He sighed. "Alas, a horrible presence grew from beyond the forest, affecting those sensitive to evil with restless nightmares."
Link frowned. "The vision..."
Luna sniffled. What vision? She looked at the Wolfos, the pack having huddled up, snoozing away.
"You noticed that the previous Great Deku Tree has entirely rotted away. I thought this rapid deterioration was due to Ganondorf's curse remaining within. How foolish I was to think so. For many years, the foreign evil slowly consumed the dead roots, absorbing the faintest traces of the old Deku Tree's knowledge and power. By doing this, it learnt of how to bypass the barriers that blocked evil from entering these lands. Bit by bit, one by one, it guided its dark servants, who in turn attracted other evils, bringing aspects of their dreadful worlds with them."
Majora bashfully put her hands behind her back, rubbing her foot against the ground.
She whispered to herself, "Knew I shouldn't of came to Hyrule... I should have returned to Termina..."
Link sighed. "For all these years, I tried keeping them away..."
Zelda put her hand on his shoulder. "Link..."
"Your courageous efforts stifled them nonetheless, just enough for you and your friends to save me from the evil presence slowly eating my roots. Verily, we can begin fighting back against this horrible force."
"The vision," Zelda spoke, "depicted two secretive figures... The Beholder and The Author... Did they come?"
"No, Queen of Destiny, they have not."
Luna held her breath. Will you tell them? "They have!"
Everyone looked at Luna, who breathed heavily, eyes shiny.
"What do you mean?" Link asked.
Luna momentarily shook. Composure regained, she faced her friends. "This will sound odd, but...here it goes... Queen Zelda, The Author is you."
Zelda raised an eyebrow. "How does that work?"
"Those sensitive to the nightmares learn to use their power. Your future self used the Ocarina of Time to send the vision to the past as a warning." Luna turned to Link. "You are The Beholder. There was nothing you could do because...Legion, the demon inside you, always won."
Link stared firmly, Majora combing her hair with her claws and not paying attention.
"How do you know all this?" Kibou asked.
"Because who you see in me also came from the future."
"Hm. So...what does this mean?" Zelda asked.
Luna gestured to the Deku Tree. "He has a request for you, Link."
"That I do. Link, my children were taken by the evil."
Kibou rang aloud.
Link was not happy to hear such bad news.
"Link, Zelda, by Wisdom and Courage, you must bring them back. The dark presence gnawing on my roots...allowed my thoughts to transfer over, allowing me to learn of what was slowly devouring me."
Zelda looked at Majora. "I recall you saying something about Legion being a conduit for the gap between dimensions?"
"Hm? What? Oh! Yes, I did say that back at Hyrule Castle. What Legion and skull-head know, so does The Beyond."
"I am able to mimic some of its power," the Deku Tree said. "I can form a passage that can take you directly into the ruins underneath Kokiri Forest, where the evil force resides. From there, you must save the Kokiri!"
Link made a vigorous nod.
Majora crossed her arms. "Why isn't anyone paying me attention..."
She heard something. "Hm? Someone there?"
"I am ready to save my friends again!" Link assured. "Get the portal up!"
"Except you won't be doing that!" Luna interrupted, Link looking at her weird. "If you do, you will fail. Legion always beat you."
Link frowned. "I will not suffer them to lay hands on my friends!"
Luna's eyes glistened. "Link! Please!" She grabbed his hand. "This is Hyrule's final hope. If you repeat what you've always done...we won't have another chance. Don't you see? This is a trap! Even if Zelda tries to use the Ocarina of Time...Legion will finally learn of its power, so will the gap between dimensions, and we will lose the last thing it needs: the flow of time."
Link sighed. "So...what should we do?"
Luna looked a bit shy. Don't tell Zelda what happened at Hyrule Castle... Don't tell her you were with her kids... Luna looked at the Great Deku Tree. "Did you see Alencon?"
"A couple days ago, yes, he—" The Deku Tree reared. "Oh, my!"
"What is it?" Zelda asked.
The Great Deku Tree creaked. "Link! Alencon...when he spoke about the author and the beholder...he plans to kill them!"
"This time, you'll have to deal with him first," Luna stated, sadness creeping up on her.
Link tightened his gauntlets. "I'm not afraid."
Majora yawned, pausing mid-yawn. "You mean that guy behind you?"
The Wolfos sprang to their paws, barking wildly.
Link unsheathed his blade, twirling around—two swords screeched against each other, sparks flying. His foe's greathelm drooled blood with every exhale from its red wearer.
"Alencon! Stop!" Luna screamed.
"You're back!?" the Hospitaller hissed with a distorted voice, blood spewing out the breath holes of his helm. He and Link attacked, swords and shields striking their oppositions. "Get out of here, child! Before you are taken!"
Alencon bashed Link's greathelm with his shield, staggering the hero then lunging. Link backhanded the incoming sword aside with his shield and chopped, foe blocking.
"Alencon! Stop your foolishness!" the Great Deku Tree growled, body creaking.
"Another fight!?" Majora cried.
Zelda nocked a Light Arrow, pointing it at Alencon. "We're not here to fight you! Stop!" He kicked Zelda's bow out her hands, Light Arrow arching off.
Kibou kept his distance from the violence. "I don't think he's gonna listen..."
Alencon and Link exchanged blows, Link feeling a sword slip through his mail. He gasped but the links remained intact, preventing a full stab.
A Light Arrow whizzed past Link's head, smashing into Alencon's helmet. He reared, stunned. Link thrust his sword over and over, poking holes in Alencon's surcoat and mail. Still sizzling, Alencon swung into Link's incoming thrust, disarraying Link's sword then striking his forearm, mail link rippled as he grunted.
"We said stop!" Luna jumped between Link and Alencon, the men's swords stopping mid-air. Alencon stepped around Luna, chopping away at Link, who blocked all attacks. "You don't have to do this! We know what we have to do!"
Link lunged, Alencon jumped high over Link. The Hero spun around, smashing his shield as Alencon landed while chopping. Link slammed his blade into Alencon's helm, denting it, blood dashed out. The Hospitaller pushkicked Link then grunted, lifted off the ground.
"Can't you listen!?" Majora yelled, her hair wrapped around the knight. She turned, growling, catapulting the knight into the air. "Ew, his blood is in my hair now..."
As Alencon flew, he flipped through the air and kicked against the cliff side, leaping off and landing light, Wolfoses scurrying around him and taking turns snapping their jaws, though his continuous vigilance kept them back.
The Great Deku Tree angrily leaned over. "I know you can understand us! Cease your violence!"
Majora looked at the sentient tree. "Did you not notice our fight against Mīkāʼēl a while ago? Guess not..."
"Now's not the time to be asking questions!" Kibou rang, flying before Majora's face.
Majora looked at him and gasped, even quivering for a second. "T-Tael!?"
"Who?"
"You're the black fairy..."
"You just noticed I'm black? Listen, lady, I think you should be helping your friends right about now!"
"Oh, right! Yes!" Majora bit her tongue and rushed over. Rosfir, who also had bitten her tongue, had also decided to rush forth at that moment, she and Majora tripping over each other.
The other Wolfos, Link and Zelda approached Alencon, the lupine beasts reaching him first.
"Don't fight him!" Luna yelled, running over and always positioning herself in front of Alencon's blade.
"Stay away, child!" Alencon barked.
"No!" Luna grabbed the undead's blade two-handed, fingers bleeding. "I won't let you do this!"
The Wolfos surrounded the knight and stood on their hind legs, claws raised, fangs flashing, their position preventing Link from going through.
Alencon raised his shield, blocking the paws. "You do not understand what's going on, Luna!"
She growled, eyes vicious. "Yes I do! You must not injure Link or Legion will kill him, then Mīkāʼēl will easily kill you!"
"Do not lecture, me child! You are not a warrior!" Alencon let go of his sword and leapt over the Wolfos, the beasts doing likewise and swiping their paws at him mid-air, his mail rippling but protecting him. After kicking a Wolfos aside, the Hospitaller's feet slammed into the ground.
"HYYAAAH!" Link jumped, sword swung overhand—Alencon headbutted Link, both their helmets cracking into each other and sending sparks, Link falling onto his rear.
Alencon unsheathed his dagger, kneeling over Link—Zelda slipped her bow over his head then twisted her bow, bowstring tightening around his neck.
Alencon reared, Zelda prising her bow to flip him over, slamming him into the ground, bow still twisted around his neck.
Zelda snapped her fingers at Majora, the purple lady wincing. "Majora! Hold him down with your hair!"
"But I'll get dirty!"
"I said HOLD HIM DOWN!"
"Fine!" Majora's hair extended, gripping the knight's legs.
Zelda gripped her bow, strangling the knight. "Drop your dagger! I have no problem tightening the bowstring until it cuts your head right off!"
Alencon disobeyed, stabbing backwards, Zelda leaning to and fro to avoid the small blade, though the Hospitaller was not going anywhere.
The Wolfos barked, jumping backwards as purple-shadowy pixels floated from the ground.
Luna held her face in despair, staring down. "N-no! It can't happen this fast—"
Pixels erupted out the ground, launching everyone in the air, Wolfos snarling as they pawed wildly.
The Great Deku True leaned back, branches tilting upwards. "Ohhh my! What's going on!?"
Link spread his arms and lifted a knee, hovering. "Oh-whoa!"
"EEEEEEEE!" Majora floated upside-down, limbs and hair thrashing.
Hair flowing upwards, Zelda stabilized herself, though Alencon wriggled free, throwing the bow away. He skipped back, sheathing his dagger and looking for his sword...
Inky rainfall came, colliding with the rising pixels and bursting into shadowy dust. Steadily, the environment became more and more like translucent shade, yet darkness did not affect anyone, everyone visible despite the absence of light. The sky was dark yet without stars, clouds midnight blue but streaked with brightness, as if lightning had flashed then froze amid the clouds.
Gravity slowly returned, everyone back on their feet. Except Majora, who landed on her head.
Coughing hair out her mouth, Majora sat up, pulling the rest of her hair aside. "Umm...where are we?"
The Great Deku Tree's body creaked. "Not in Kokiri Forest."
Unsure of what was going on, the Wolfos sniffed around. Link went onward. Shadowy spikes shot up the ground, blocking his path. He paused, then heard a snort and brief scraping noise.
Link looked back, then spun around rearing—Ganondorf reared his barded horse.
Zelda rushed next to Link, bow in hand. Horrible memories flooded her minds: Entombment in crystal. Link being blasted off the platform as chunks of the floor fell. The castle shaking as they escaped, crumbling before them. The Great King of Evil rising from the debris...
The queen regained her composure. "H-how...how did you escape the Sacred Realm!?"
Ganondorf looked at Zelda and just grinned. "Hrmm, hrmm, hrmm-hrmm..." He grabbed his face...wet ripping sounded aloud. A bloody, horned, jawless skull crested with red hair appeared, empty eye sockets glowing yellow. The rider grabbed a magical lance stabbed in the ground, spearhead flanked with two additional blades, and pulled it out.
Link raised his shield, sword pointed backwards.
"Hahh!" Phantom Ganon from Beyond spurred his horse, the beast leaping into then galloping through the air, electricity flowing out his lance. The ghost eyed Alencon, unsure of the other undead entity.
Alencon gestured decapitation at the phantom. He looked at Link and Zelda. "This is not over!"
Alencon leapt at the ghost; Phantom Ganon swung his polearm, batting aside Alencon's blade then smashing his sparking lance at him, magical blow hurling Alencon to the ground. A deep, slow chuckle came from Phantom Ganon, a Stalfos chuckle coming from Alencon.
While Alencon and Phantom Ganon exchanged blows, Link's eyes narrowed, sword glimmering with magic. "Here we go again..."
Phantom Ganon's horse kicked Alencon down then spun around, the rider flourish his lance then unleashing a magical mass at Link. Link waited, Zelda running to the side—a Spin Attack deflected the ghost's projectile with such force it slammed into the warhorse, the rider nearly falling off.
Zelda nocked a Light Arrow as Phantom Ganon realigned himself, shooting him squarely in the skull. He growled, Light magic shivering around him, though his feet remained in the stirrups as his steed flew around.
One by one, the Wolfos leapt high, swiping at the flying horse as it kicked its rear legs at them, the lupine monsters not giving up, continuously harassing him.
Phantom Ganon screamed, swinging his lance and unleashing a vast array of dazzling magic, shocking everyone. Link, Zelda, Luna, Majora and the Wolfos screamed as electricity surged throughout their bodies, Alencon going stiff and falling over.
Body zappy, Link forcefully rolled forwards then charged. Phantom Ganon threw a magical ball, Link deflected it with his sword, the opponents playing tennis for several exchanges while the steed moved around and around.
Link yelled, hitting the magic back hard—the phantom swung but missed, receiving electric shock.
"AGHRRRAAGHHH!" Notwithstanding electrocution, Phantom Ganon spurred his horse, which leapt towards Link.
Link rolled out of the way as dark hooves and a lance slammed into the ground, unleashing an electrostatic discharge.
Majora cartwheeled out of nowhere, dropkicking the ghost in the head, though he did not fall. He retaliated with a thrust, Majora squealing as she leaned backwards, barely avoiding the spearhead.
All Wolfos regained themselves, snorting and huffing, wondering what had happened.
The ghost from Beyond whirled his lace, launching magical projectiles in all directions. Link batted a few but was hit by a few more, throwing him back. Alencon leapt though was hit mid-air, falling back down.
Zelda managed to shoot a Light Arrow but was nevertheless hit and fell.
Kibou swerved, dodging the magic while Luna scurried away somewhere.
"Hwahh!" The Great Deku Tree swung a few branches, striking Phantom Ganon and his horse, though the lack of speed only moved the flying enemy aside, though interrupted his magic.
Majora got up, brushing herself off, watching Phantom Ganon galloping mid-air again. "Ah-hah!" She lassoed her hair around the horse's rear legs. "I'll trip his horse and pull him down—EEEEEEEE!" The horse didn't stop, dragging Majora around as if she were a ragdoll, the length of hair tripping a Wolfos then knocking Luna over.
Link facepalmed. "Ughh... Majora sure knows how to get herself into trouble."
Zelda nocked an arrow, however Phantom Ganon's horse frequently leapt while galloping the air, movement whipping Majora up and down. Zelda grimaced, relaxing her bow. "I don't want to accidentally hit Majora!"
"No problem!" Link sprang forth, running up Majora's back then along her tightened hair.
Phantom Ganon looked back, thrusting his lance's buttspike at Link, who blocked with his shield while Jump Attacking, striking the ghost in the head. Phantom Ganon groaned, wobbling on his seat, Alencon leaping and dropkicking him off his horse.
The ghost dropped his lance, thudding onto his skull—the Wolfos dogpiled him, their fangs and paws scraping his armor. Phantom Ganon yelled, electricity blasting around him, Wolfos hurled away as sparks danced along their fur.
Meanwhile, Majora sat up, grabbing her hair and extending her legs, heels scraping along the shadowy ground as the horse flew around. "Gah! I gotta untangle my hair!" Her feet hit a log and she flipped over, dragging along facedown.
Phantom Ganon sat up and knelt, wondering what the hell Majora was doing. He looked for his lance...
Luna scurried over, grabbing the dropped lance though it was too heavy to use.
Grunting, Phantom Ganon stood, angrily pointing at Luna. He looked around—Link and Alencon charged him from either side, a Light Arrow whizzing towards him. He rolled his shoulders, evading the Light Arrow, hands surging with electricity.
Link raised his blade and shouted his battle cry but feinted; Phantom Ganon flinched, throwing a magical ball. Link jumped sideways—Alencon tackled into the ghost's legs, taking him down.
Alencon repeatedly bashed his shield and pommel into Phantom's Ganon's head, rim cracking against skull, pommel ringing against bone.
Link backflipped; Pantom Ganon's steed lumbered past, headbutting Alencon down. The rider grabbed a stirrup and hoisted himself as the beast galloped back mid-air, Majora still dragged behind like a fool.
The queen grunted. She shot a magical arrow; Phantom Ganon leaned away and, hanging over his saddle, hurled his dark power at her. With the agility of a Sheikah spy, Zelda leapt over the incoming projectile, shooting a Light Arrow while flipping. The ghost screamed, body sizzling with Light power.
Zelda landed like a cat, Phantom Ganon's steed swooping to trample her—mighty branches swatted it over, knocking mount and rider down, Majora flopping over with them.
Quite dizzy, Majora wriggled her hair free, unable to stand straight. After a step, her head landed like an anvil.
Meanwhile, Link, Alencon and the Wolfos rushed over, attacking Phantom Ganon and his mount. The ghost swung big punches, clobbering shields and Wolfos, but receiving many blows from swords and claws.
"Zelda!" Luna cried, dragging Phantom Ganon's lance. "Try this!"
Zelda holstered her bow in her robe and retrieved the lance. "Thank you, Fairy Child. Now, you stay safe!"
"I will! Come on, Kibou, let's find a spot to hide!"
Kibou jingled. "Agreed!" Off they went, the Great Deku Tree swaying and grunting for some reason.
Phantom Ganon roared, electric magic erupting around him, blasting his many attackers back.
Zelda gripped the lance two-handed, whirling it overhead, launching several magical masses forth.
Phantom Ganon reared, not expecting his weapon to be used against him! He dodged the initial projectile but the others swerved into him, sizzling against his undead body.
The queen jumped over fallen Wolfos and rushed past Link. "Hrrahh!" She rammed the glowing lance into Phantom Ganon's mouth, unleashing magic directly into him, the eruption blasting out his mouth and eye sockets.
Phantom Ganon gargled blue fire. He grabbed the shaft and kicked Zelda back. Ripping the lance out his neck, he jumped onto his horse, every exhale billowing blue flames out his maw. His horse leapt, evading a slow swing of the Deku Tree's branches.
While Link and Alencon recovered, Zelda slipped her bow and shot a Light Arrow—the ghost cut it aside. His horse reared, swiping its front hooves at incoming Wolfos, then jumping and kicking its back legs into the other beasts, knocking them back. The Wolfoses were so wounded and exhausted from the previous encounter there was little they could do, panting and slobbering.
Alencon leapt, swinging his sword while blocking the ghost's lance with his shield, though the warhorse swooped, tackling into him then slamming him against the ground.
Zelda moved in, readying another Light Arrow, though was struck by a volley of Phantom Ganon's magic. She flew back, screaming.
"Zelda!" Link cried.
Grimacing, Zelda sat up, shaking from electricity; the warhorse ran over her, kicking her across the head and knocking her out.
"That looked painful..." Majora commented, sitting up. She joined Link in fighting the beast but then a spearhead rammed into her chest.
Phantom Ganon pulled his lance out and engaged with Link, who by now was panting.
Majora felt her chest then watching blue blood drizzle from her hand. She cocked her head, facial spikes briefly wiggling. "That looked painful, too." Clutching her injury, blueness frothed out her chest. Majora took a few steps then collapsed, the exhausted Wolfoses running by and sniffing her.
Alencon reappeared and jumped high, swinging upwards from below and cracking the phantom's skull, who reared from impact. The Stalfos went for another strike but Phantom Ganon stabbed him mid-air, then blasted him away with magic.
Link raised his sword and yelled, Phantom Ganon turning and lancing back—Link feinted, slipping underneath the lance. He uppercutted his shield under the Phantom's stirrup, extending his arm to lift the leg out its stirrup, Phantom Ganon losing balance and falling over.
The barded horse turned, shoulder knocking Link over. Rearing and neighing, the horse slammed its hooves, Link rolling side to side to avoid the stomps. The beast reared; Link ran under its hooves and thrust upwards into its neck. The horse gurgled, pivoting around and kicking Link back with its rear legs. Link recovered, the warhorse leaping, curling its legs and presenting its armoured shoulder.
Link jumped sideways as the steed slammed its shoulder into the ground, the shockwave staggering Link. Snorting while rubbing the ground, the horse charged.
The Hero of Time slipped around the incoming warhorse, Phantom Ganon right behind and thrusting his rolled sideways around the weapon, then jumped while spinning with great speed, each revolution cutting Phantom Ganon and sending bits of his armor flying. Link finished whirling then flipped mid-air, slashing the ghost's head while flipping over it.
Upon landing, Link spun around, the furious phantom lunging, Link blocking and attacking back when able.
Meanwhile, Alencon engaged the berserk warhorse, chopping into its legs whenever it darted passed him. It turned around then pawing Alencon back. Shield up, he advanced. The horse bit his shield, pulled it out his hand, and spat it away, then headbutted him down. The steed slammed its hooves upon the Stalfos's sternum, ribs crackling. The warhorse reared again, eager to crush Alencon into grinded bones.
Kuriver jumped, latching his jaws around the horse's throat, ripping apart the buckles until blood sprayed over his fur. The horse fell over—the Wolfos swarmed the steed, burying their claws and teeth into its unprotected belly...
Meanwhile, Link and Phantom Ganon bounced a ball of energy back and forth, the phantom missing and electrocuted. Link charged but his sizzling foe, all twitchy, thrust repeatedly. Link blocked the flurry of jabs with his shield, though Phantom Ganon hooked a side blade around the rim, pulling the shield aside then lunging into Link's chest. He grunted as the mail links split, rearing from impact as the lance dashed out blood. Link dropped his shield, grabbing the shaft with his free hand and holding it while Phantom Ganon pushed, trying to push Link off his feet. Link swung his sword while the spearhead remained embedded in his body, chopping into Phantom Ganon's uppermost forearm, cutting the hand off.
Phantom Ganon growled blue flames, lance sparkling with magic...
Link writhed down the spearhead until he felt its side blades press against his chest, the electrical current flowing through his body. Skeleton surging with electricity, Link screamed—blade glowing orange, he painfully forced a Spin Attack, rotational force throwing the lance out his chest and spattering blood...
Link whirled violently, finishing into a kneeling position, panting heavily as blood drizzled from underneath his greathelm, falling onto a horned skull.
Headless, Phantom Ganon collapsed.
