After it had been settled that the girl would be staying temporarily with the ninja they then all proceeded with introductions. The girl introduced herself as Destiny, and then listened intently as each of the spinjitzu masters introduced themselves as well. Destiny had never been great with names, and struggled to place the names to the correct ninja, or to even remember some of the names at all.

As the conversation continued Destiny's suspicions were confirmed, she had indeed been saved by the ninja. Kai and the white one (who's name she was struggling to remember). Regardless she thanked the two of them, hardly contributing anymore to the ongoing discussions before standing and excusing herself back to the spare bedroom she had woken up in. Luckily the dining room was right down the hall so it was easy to navigate her way back to the guest room without getting lost.

Once Destiny stepped into the room and closed the door behind her she stood there for a minute, unsure of what to do. After contemplating for a moment she finally settled on briefly exploring the room. There wasn't much to it admittedly. There was a single window on the far wall, the blinds were pulled down but not closed, allowing for sunlight to gently spill into the room. In the center was a mattress barely big enough for two people, and in the corner was an empty desk. To the left of the room there were two separate doors, one which led to a closet and the other to a small bathroom.

Destiny stood in the bathroom for a little while, inspecting her reflection in the mirror. Her appearance was even worse than the last time she cared to pay attention to. As her eyes scanned every aspect of her body she began to feel dirty, the layer of grime across her body making her skin crawl. It also embarrassed her to think about the fact her first impression to the ninja was while she looked like she had just crawled out of a dumpster.

Before she could do anything else though there was a knock on the main door of the bedroom. Walking over to the source of the sound Destiny opened the door greeted by the only other girl she had met thus far. Nya if she remembered correctly. Nya was softly smiling at her, a stack of clothes in hand as well as a small bag on top of the pile.

"Hey Destiny, just stopping by to give you some spare change of clothes." Nya says kindly before handing the contents over to the shorter girl. Destiny took the clothes and bag in a single motion, starting at the Master of Water for a brief moment, trying to memorize her face before finally responding.

"Thanks." Destiny says quietly, barely loud enough for Nya to hear. The smile doesn't leave Nya's face though as she continues their conversation.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Inside the bag are a few spare bathroom items. Toothbrush, toothpaste, that kinda thing." Nya turns to leave but immediately turns back, seeming to have forgotten something else. "Breakfast will be ready sometime soon too if you're hungry. You're more than welcome to come join everyone. It will be in the dining room we all spoke in earlier."

"Okay, thanks again." Destiny answers, waiting for the teal ninja to finally leave before closing the door once more. Alone again the brown haired girl makes her way to the bed, setting the clothes onto the wrinkled yellow sheets before grabbing the bathroom bag and going into the bathroom. Roughly an hour passes as Destiny takes her time, the moisture from the hot shower having fogged up the bathroom completely by the time she finishes.

Even once she's out of the shower another thirty minutes pass by before she exits the bathroom now clothed in a new, and cleaner, outfit as well. Her new attire consisted of a maroon crop top, and a pair of loose jeans, her yellow jacket thrown on over her form and zipped up about halfway. Destiny was sliding on a different pair of yellow socks when the door was knocked on again. Frowning a bit Destiny completed her task before walking over to the door and opening it.

Towering at least a foot and a half over her stood the black ninja. His somewhat curly raven hair swept to the right side of his face, and covered the majority of his forehead. Destiny scanned her eyes along the black ninja just as she had done with Nya, doing her best to familiarize herself with the appearances of her new roommates. The black ninja was the Master of Earth, she remembered that much.

Based on his broad shoulders and muscular build she easily deduced that he seemed to be the strongest of the bunch, as none of the other ninja came close to the amount of muscle the black ninja had. The others opting more for toned muscles and leaner builds better for agility and flexibility. The black ninjas' skin was also very tanned, obviously darkened by how much time he must spend out in the sun. While his face appeared to be smooth despite his chiseled features the same could not be said for his hands and forearms. His large hands looked callused and were adorned with an abundance of lighter toned scars all the way up to his elbows.

Looking back up to his face, Destiny admired his features. His thick jet black eyebrows like fuzzy caterpillars, and his gray eyes almost seemed to shine more of a silver in the light of the sun. It wasn't until now that Destiny noticed the Master of Earth looking down at her sheepishly, a nervous aura surrounding his frame. Had he said something and she hadn't noticed?

"I'm sorry." Destiny apologized. She wasn't sure what she was apologizing for, but silently decided that it was for staring at the boy for so long. The black ninja let out an awkward chuckle before speaking.

"It's okay. Like I said I just stopped by to give you this." The black ninja held out a plate of food with one hand, the other nervously rubbing the back of his neck under his curtain of black locks. "We noticed you didn't make it to breakfast and I just wanted to make sure you got something in case you were hungry. All the food is already put away but it's just inside the fridge if you decide you want anything else." Despite his intimidating size the Master of Earth seemed like a giant sweetheart, and Destiny couldn't help the small smile she felt form onto her lips as she took the plate of food from him.

"Thank you, uh…" Destiny hesitated as she failed to remember what the boys' name was.

"Cole, Cole Brookestone." The raven smiled back, his nervousness from before now replaced with a kind and gentle warmth.

"Thank you Cole." Destiny smiles a bit more this time.

"Of course, anytime." With that the Master of Earth left, leaving Destiny in the doorway with her newly acquired plate of breakfast foods. She closed the door casually, before turning around and leaning her back against it, sliding downwards until she was sitting on the floor. What had just happened? There was something about that interaction that made Destiny's body feel warm and relaxed. Normally she would have been slightly terrified being stood next to someone so much taller and stronger than herself, but she didn't feel that way at all with Cole just then.

She thought on the moment more. Instead of feeling scared she felt protected, it almost seemed like a backwards concept to the yellow clad teenager. The black ninja, she envisioned his face again in her mind, every detail she had absorbed staring back at her in her mind as she ran her eyes over them again and again. In all honesty she was sure she could have stayed like that forever when they were in the doorway together, just adoring him for lack of a better word. Him, and all that he was.

Allowing her train of thought to continue she came to the realization that she wished to learn more about him. She wanted to talk to him and spend time with him. He, in that moment, made her feel more comfort than she had felt in a long time now at this point. Even if they didn't talk, which granted Destiny wasn't much of a conversationalist these days, she just wanted to spend more time in his presence.

Destiny took in a deep breath through her nose, her eyes closed, and let it out slowly as a soft smile once again brushed across her face. Opening her eyes she looked down at the plate of food Cole had brought for her and began eating small portions of it. Her first proper meal all week.
