The next morning when Destiny awoke and sat up in bed she was greeted with a calm Master Wu sitting in the desk chair in the corner of her room. The room was silent except for the quiet slurping sounds of the old man sipping on his tea.

The yellow clad teen normally would have been confused and slightly uncomfortable due to the unexpected company, but as her head began to pound she was swiftly reminded of the events that had transpired the previous night. Now the scene in front of her made sense.

Destiny was unsure of what to say, and if she was being honest with herself she didn't want to say anything at all. She wanted to move on with life and pretend nothing had even happened. Or better yet, crawl into a hole and never come back out. However, the young teen doubted that the ninja would allow her the chance to close herself off again just as she had been the first few days in their presence.

"Good morning." Master Wu finally spoke, removing the small tea cup from his lips. Destiny stayed quiet for a moment, debating on whether or not she should say anything, bed sheets balled up in the palms of her clenched hands.

"Good morning, Master Wu." Destiny responded softly, averting her shame filled gaze from the ninja master.

As soon as the words left Destiny's mouth and the room became quiet again the short girl felt a heavy wave of awkwardness fill the space between them. What now? She was immensely worried of what the others thought about her now.

"After last night I decided that I am going to train you in a different way than I did with all the other ninja." Master Wu spoke up again, this time setting his glass down onto the desk beside a blue painted clay teapot.

Destiny was taken aback by the Sensei's words, and looked over at him, giving him a confused expression. He still wanted to train her? Had she heard him correctly?

"Master Wu, I-" Destiny was about to argue against the old man, but he held up one of his hands to interrupt her.

"As I train you I am also going to be helping you face your inner demons." Master Wu paused as he stopped to make eye contact with the young girl. She felt her face begin to burn with embarrassment, and guilt began to gnaw at her insides. "I will only be able to help you so much though. When the time comes you are going to need to use all that I have taught you in order to complete this journey."

Destiny didn't speak for several moments, taking her time to digest everything Master Wu had just said. Once she processed everything she finally responded.

"Master Wu… why?" The Spinjitzu Master raised an eyebrow at the yellow clad girl. "Why am I still here? Why would you still choose to train me?"

Now it was Master Wu's turn to ponder the girls' words, and as he did so he ran one of his hands through his long white beard.

"When emotions are high the mind becomes clouded. You have been through a great deal in a short period of time my student. Everyone has strong emotions about the events that transpired last night, I have no doubts about this. However, it is in these moments where we are at our greatest time of need, whether we admit it to ourselves or not. Now is not the time to let our past actions hold us back. Instead, we must learn from these experiences, and work together with one another to become stronger from them."

"I see…" The small girl trailed off from her spot still seated in the bed. She understood what Master Wu was trying to say, but at the same time she felt undeserving of his patience. Before she could continue her train of thought though Master Wu spoke up again.

"Come." The elder said simply, standing up from the desk chair and taking a few steps before sitting on the floor with his legs crossed. Hesitantly, Destiny pulled off her covers and got out of bed. Walking around the side of the bedroom before seating herself so she was facing Master Wu just a few feet away.

"The step we must take to begin the journey to finding your true potential is first finding what makes you weak at this moment in time. For in your weakness lies strength. Understanding and coming to peace with your flaws will allow for unparalleled growth. Now, we meditate." With his peace said Master Wu then closed his eyes, remaining silent as he began to meditate. Following his lead, Destiny closed her eyes as well, trying her best to silence the loud thoughts that were now beginning to make their presence known within her mind.

With the ninja -

Ever since the ninja had brought the lone 'Shapeshifter' goon back to the Bounty they had been taking turns interrogating the man, swapping out shifts and allowing one another to catch up on some sleep. Now it was well into the afternoon of the next day and they still had yet to get a sliver of information about Yuraggi or her plans.

Currently it was Nya and Kai's turn to try and question their subject, and well, they weren't having any better luck than the others had. The Smith siblings had tried several different tactics so far, including the cliche good cop-bad cop act. Needless to say both of their well known tempers were beginning to show.

"UGH! I don't know what to do!" Nya shouted frustratedly as she pulled on her hair with both her hands.

"Hey, hey, calm down sis. I'm sure you'll think of something else." The red ninja attempted to calm down his younger sister. They'd have an even slimmer chance at getting the goon to talk if both of them were too upset to brainstorm a plan.

"Hey guys, had any luck getting him to talk yet?" The familiar voice of the green ninja questioned as he and the rest of the team walked into the small room.

"No! He hasn't said a word, and we've tried everything!" Nya continued to shout as she kicked over a nearby chair. Jay hid behind the unphased Master of Ice as the chair hit the wall with a loud crash.

"W-What are we supposed to do now?" The blue ninja asked quietly from where he was hiding.

"I don't know, but this is getting ridiculous." Kai spoke up, his tone laced with audible irritation.

"Perhaps we haven't tried everything?" Zane proposed, getting everyone's attention.

"What do you mean Zane?" Lloyd questioned, unsure of what the nindroid had in mind.

"Yeah, what are you thinking?" Cole added, raising an eyebrow at the titanium ninja.

"Well, from the little data Pixal has collected of our subject his mannerisms seem to suggest he is quite prideful. If one of us could begin questioning him in a way that provokes an emotional response, then there's a chance his pride could cause him to slip up and unintentionally provide us with the information we seek." The white ninja explained.

"Prideful you say?" Nya repeats, turning to look at Zane, her anger appearing to have fizzled out. Zane nodded his head in confirmation, and this caused a smirk to appear on the water ninjas' face.

"Uh, what's that face for sis?" Kai asked what they were all thinking.

"I know just what to say." Nya responded, moving past the boys' so she could walk into the interrogation room adjacent to them. The rest of the ninja looked between one another with confused expressions before moving over to a nearby television screen to watch Nya try and question the 'Shapeshifter' goon again.

Nya appeared on the screen within a few seconds, closing the door behind herself as she sat seated across from the goon at the lone table situated in the center of the interrogation room. The two stayed quiet until the silence was broken by the teal ninja.

"Hello again." Nya said simply, her expression neutral.

"If you want me to fess up you're not gonna get nothin' out of me." The goon immediately replied, a frown on his face.

"Who said that I wanted you to fess up about anything?" Nya questioned, raising an eyebrow at the lackey.

"You an' the other ninja have been trying to get Jimmy to talk all night, but Jimmy won't be saying nothin'." The goon explained, turning away from Nya.

"Oh we know Jimmy, and I have to say, you've been doing a really good job at keeping your secrets safe." Nya complimented the man, now he turned back to look at the water ninja, a confused expression on his face.

"What?" Jimmy hesitated before he continued. "Ninja really think Jimmy has been doing a good job?" The goon asked, to which Nya nodded her head.

"Wow, no one ever say Jimmy does a good job! Everyone always calls Jimmy the worst, even when that's not true! Like when Johnny lost Destiny, everyone in the 'Shapeshifters' still called Jimmy the worst thug ever even though Johnny messed up and made the boss mad!"

"Hmm, even though Johnny messed up it does seem like you're worse off at the moment Jimmy." Nya responded. "I mean, at least Johnny didn't get captured." The water ninja pointed out.

"You callin' Jimmy a worse thug than Johnny?! Never!" Jimmy questioned in disbelief.

"Oh, but it's true. Isn't Jimmy? You're here, and Johnny is probably back in your hideout with the boss Yuraggi." Nya explained with a knowing frown.

"B-but Jimmy can't be worse than Johnny. Jimmy promised he wouldn't mess up no more!" The sudden look of distress on Jimmy's face earned a show of concern from Nya.

"Why can't you afford to make any more mistakes Jimmy?" The teal ninja pressed.

"'Cause, if Jimmy messes up again then the boss will go after Jimmy's daughter, Rosie." Suddenly all the ninja felt a pang of sympathy for the 'Shapeshifter' goon in their custody.

"Look Jimmy, if you help us then we can help you." Nya spoke softly, setting a hand on Jimmy's shoulder.

"What does ninja lady mean she can help Jimmy?" Jimmy questioned, a frown on his face once again.

"We have a few questions that we really need the answers to. If you can answer those questions for us then we promise we'll do everything we can to make sure you and Rosie will be safe from Yuraggi and the rest of the 'Shapeshifters'." Nya explains, and the teal ninja could see the man's eye spark with hope.

"Do the ninja promise?" Jimmy asked, waiting with baited breath for the Master of Water's answer.

"Yes, we promise."

"Okay, Jimmy will help the ninja as long as they help Rosie." Jimmy stated with a nod.

The rest of the ninja who were still in the other room were all surprised. When Nya had walked into the interrogation room none of them had expected her to be able to get Jimmy to talk. Now here they were eating their metaphorical words. They couldn't focus on that though, what was important now was getting the information they needed from Jimmy. With it they'd finally be able to save Janissa Pierce, and put an end to Yurragi and her 'Shapeshifters'.
