Cole didn't notice when he had begun subconsciously fiddling with the pencil in his right hand but he had been for a while now. It had been quite some time since Destiny had left the room, saying she needed to use the bathroom and now the Master of Earth couldn't seem to sit still. Gradually his thoughts had become more and more anxious.

Cole wanted to get up, to go and check on the yellow clad girl, but, wouldn't that be weird? All the ninja had the right to feel more wary about the teenage girls' wearabouts but to the black ninja he also felt he'd be coming off too overprotective. Destiny had told him she didn't want to be treated any differently despite everything she was going through, however Cole couldn't help but worry about her.

Kai was having trouble focusing on the team's brainstorming plans as well, although it was not due to his lack of effort. Instead he was being continuously pulled from his thoughts by the vibrations in the floor caused by the Earth ninja's leg bouncing restlessly.

"You okay Cole?" The red ninja questioned, gaining everyone's attention. Cole looked at Kai with an expression akin to a deer caught in headlights. After a brief second to recollect himself the black ninja spoke up.

"No actually, I'm worried about Destiny. She's been gone for a while now." Cole admitted, slightly ashamed.

"Cole's right. She's been in the bathroom for a while." Nya added, an expression of concern tugging on her lips.

"Maybe the toilet's clogged?" Jay tried to reason. The blue ninja would be lying if he said he wasn't concerned as well, but he wanted to try his best to come up with a reasonable explanation to calm all of their nerves.

"Maybe…" Lloyd trailed off. "How long has Destiny been gone now Zane?" The green ninja asked, turning to look at the nindroid.

"Approximately 15.2 minutes." Zane answered, causing the room to go silent.

The atmosphere was the opposite of calm though. The amount of rising anxiety could be felt in the air, almost like combing one's fingers through static charged threads of electricity. They were all stationary in their seats, yet simultaneously restless. Finally Cole broke the chain link that kept them seated, standing up rather loudly as the chair he had been in was pushed across the planks behind him.

"I'm going to go look for her." The black ninja stated as he began walking out of the room.

"I'm coming too." Nya informed as she stood up as well, following the Master of Earth out of the room. The rest of the ninja looked over to Master Wu, wordlessly asking him for his input.

"Go ninja, make sure she is safe." Master Wu spoke, dismissing them from their current task in order to defuse the stress they all felt.

With permission given the ninja all began to search the Bounty for their friend. While Zane, Jay, and Kai searched the outside and the bridge Lloyd joined Nya and Cole in looking through all the rooms. Cole had started with the most obvious place which was Destiny's bathroom, and when he realized she was nowhere to be found in the space of the spare bedroom he felt his stomach drop.

If he wasn't panicking before now he certainly was. He quickly informed the others of his discovery through their earpieces, and immediately the others began to hurry their search. Nya and Cole continued to look through each of the bathrooms, yet behind each door was an unoccupied room. As Lloyd opened the door to the interrogation room he was greeted to emptiness as well, however that wasn't right. Jimmy was supposed to be here. They had tied him up after all.

"Uh guys, Destiny isn't the only one that's missing. Jimmy is gone too." The green ninja stated as he held a hand against his earpiece so the others could hear him.

"What?" Kai questioned, having a hard time believing the 'Shapeshifter' they had detained had been able to escape. Not a minute later all the ninja, including Master Wu and Misako were present in the interrogation room.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Jay shouted as he laid eyes on the discarded ropes that had bound Jimmy to the chair beside them.

"This must have been the 'Shapeshifters' plan." Zane interrupted as he inspected the ropes closer. "The situation suggests that Jimmy broke free of his binds, and then proceeded to kidnap Destiny. Escaping with her off of the Bounty while we were distracted." The white ninja deduced as he turned to look back at his family.

"This is all my fault. I brought him back here last night. I didn't go with Destiny when she left to go to the bathroom. I should have, I knew I should have! I didn't though, and now Yuraggi's goons got her!" Cole began to spiral as he felt the weight of his decisions begin to press down on his shoulders.

"Hey Cole, this isn't your fault." Nya jumped in, placing a hand on the black ninja in an attempt to tether him back to the present.

"Nya is right. If anything we're all at fault." Lloyd added. Cole looked back up at the others. While they had managed to stop him from spiraling into his thoughts completely his eyes still held an overwhelming amount of distress.

"Guys, if what Zane said is right, and Jimmy really did kidnap Destiny, then we're running out of time!" Jay interrupted, louder than he had intended to. He had a hard time controlling the volume of his voice whenever he was too stressed.

"Jay's right. Jimmy is probably taking her to Yuraggi's base while we're just standing here." Kai agreed, his voice stern.

"Jay and Kai are correct. We cannot waste anymore time, and we cannot afford to spare time coming up with any more plans. We must leave now if we are to save Destiny and her mother from Yuraggi's wrath." Master Wu spoke up, tightening his grip on his staff as he looked at his students with a serious expression. The ninja all nodded their heads in acknowledgement and began running out of the room.

"I'll stay here and look over the Bounty." Misako stated as she watched the ninja depart.

"Thank you Misako." Wu thanked as he followed his students.

With a mix of worry and determination guiding their steps the group jumped from the Bounty and onto a nearby roof. They still had no plan as to how they were going to go about infiltrating Yuraggi's base. Instead, all that mattered now was ensuring the safety of their friend. Sprinting from rooftop to rooftop they ran in the direction of the 'Shapeshifters' home, hoping they weren't too late.

With Destiny -

Destiny could feel her heart begin to pound against her chest as she and Jimmy reached the outskirts of Yuraggi's base. Destiny knew this was stupid and risky, and she felt guilty for deceiving the ninja. There was no doubt in her mind that they had noticed her absence at this point, but it was too late to turn back now. Her and Jimmy were here, and she was determined to see with her own eyes that her mother was okay.

"We are here." Jimmy informed in a low whisper as he crouched behind a rather large crate. Destiny peaked past the man and spotted two figures in the distance that appeared to be armed with spears. Those must be the guards that were currently on duty.

"How are we going to get inside the base?" Destiny questioned, turning her attention back over to her right where Jimmy was still stationed.

"The guards are going to change shifts any minute now, when that happens Jimmy and Destiny will sneak inside." Jimmy explains as he continued to keep a focused stare on the guards ahead of them. "When we do, Destiny needs to stay close to Jimmy. There are many guards, and if we are not careful then we will be spotted." The yellow clad girl gave Jimmy a small nod in acknowledgement. Just as quickly as Destiny processed what their plan was, the 'Shapeshifter' guards began to move.

"Quickly! We must go now!" Jimmy shouted in a hushed whisper before crouch-running over to the large metal gate that housed Yuraggi's base. Destiny followed Jimmy's actions and stayed as close to him as possible, still leaving enough space between them to ensure she wouldn't accidentally bump into the man if he stopped suddenly.

As the duo reached the gate Jimmy watched closely as the guards walked ahead of them, and down a corridor. Once he decided there was enough space so the guards wouldn't hear them Jimmy then slinked in through the closing gate, gesturing behind him for Destiny to follow.

Destiny made it through the gate just before it closed, and jumped a bit as a loud clunk from the closing door thundered through the hall. When she turned back to Jimmy she noticed him already several paces away, his form disappearing around a corner to her right. Hastily, and in a somewhat clumsy manner Destiny caught up to Jimmy.

The pair then proceeded to make their way through the seemingly endless twists and turns of Yuraggi's base. They had had several close calls, almost being spotted multiple times. Especially when Jimmy had managed to snag a set of keys. However, it seemed as though the first spinjitzu master himself was looking down on them, and due to some miracle they eventually made it to one of the further corridors safely.

"Here. This is where Yuraggi is keeping Janissa Pierce." Jimmy whispered as he slowly stood up. Although he was talking to Destiny his eyes continued to scan their surroundings cautiously. The mention of her mother gave Destiny a sudden boost of adrenaline, giving her the energy she needed to swiftly look through the nearby prison cells.

As Destiny looked through each of the barred windows she slowly began to feel her hope flicker. All of the cells were empty. At least, that's what it seemed like.

"Destiny..?" A quiet voice questioned as Destiny moved away from the window of the cell she had just peered into. The voice caused her to turn back immediately though, and her eyes returned to their search in the nearly pitch black room on the other side of the rusted metal door.

"Mom..?" Destiny asked. She couldn't make out any figures, but she was sure she had heard a voice.

"Destiny?" The voice questioned again. This time it was accompanied by the sounds of metal clanking against metal, and Destiny could spot movement in the corner of the room.

"Mom, is that you?" The yellow clad girl was sure the voice sounded familiar, but it also sounded somewhat different to how she remembered her mothers voice sounding.

"Destiny, w-what are you doing here?" The female voice asked as the sounds of movement continued.

Jimmy moved next to Destiny and inserted the key he had grabbed earlier into the lock turning it, and with a loud clunk the door opened. As the light from the hall spilled into the room and onto the woman on the floor Destiny felt her breath get caught in her throat.

It was her mother. Her mother was indeed alive, just as Jimmy had promised. However Destiny had never seen her mother look so… weak. She was thin, and obviously malnourished. Her once bright ginger hair now seemed darker, now riddled with dirt and clumped together in an amalgamation of knots and tangles.

Then there were her eyes. Her green eyes that once held so much vibrancy and life to them now looked as if they had been tainted with poison. They were uncharacteristically dull, and whatever charisma they had once held had since been drained from them completely.

"Mom-..." Destiny barely choked out as she hesitantly moved closer. She was scared that if she got to close, or spoke louder than a whisper that her mom would shatter completely.

Janissa stumbled, the chains bound to her wrists feeling like they were the equivalent to 50 pound weights. Her determination was unmatched though, and no obstacle put in front of her would stand a chance.

Destiny fell to knees to get closer to her mother, and resisted the silent urge to pull away when her frail mother pulled her into a soft yet unbreakable embrace. The young girl could feel tears welling up in her eyes, and did her best to prevent them from falling as she carefully wrapped her arms around her mom.

"M-mom, I- I'm so sorry." Destiny struggled to apologize as she felt her throat tighten.

"Sh sh sh, it's okay baby. It's okay." Janissa attempted to sooth her daughter as she held her close. The actress did not want to let her go, she wanted to stay in this position forever. She knew that in her arms Destiny would be safe. No one would hurt her so long as she was here. In the same moment though Janissa was brought back to reality, and remembered just how much danger her child was in.

"Destiny, you can't be here." Janissa spoke in a serious tone as she pulled away from their hug. She was doing her best to hide her worry, but it was proving difficult.

"I know. I couldn't leave you here though. Mom, I am so so sorry for everything that has happened. I'm sorry I didn't realize where you were sooner. I thought you forgot about me. I- I didn't know you were taken, but I should have pieced it together sooner-" Destiny's apology was cut short by her mother cupping one of her hands against her cheek.

"My darling, I could never forget about you. I'm sorry too. I'm sorry that I haven't been around, especially when you've needed me most. With your father gone… I just, I guess I've been lost too without him. Still, that's no excuse for my absence." The two began to feel tears falling down their faces as Janissa struggled to continue speaking, her voice cracking as she felt the guilt of her actions consume her.

"Destiny, I love you so so much. I love you more than you could ever possibly know, and I am so sorry if I made you feel otherwise." Before either of them could speak again the tender moment was interrupted by Jimmy.

"Y-Yuraggi! She is coming!" Jimmy informed in a panicked voice, trying his best not to yell. Destiny and Janissa could both feel their stomachs drop at the news, and the yellow clad girl was quick to stand up and take the keys from the man before kneeling back down to her mother.

"Destiny." Janissa tried to get her daughter's attention. Destiny was currently trying to unlock her chains, though her hands seemed to be shaking too much to complete her task fast enough. "Destiny, look at me."

"I'm not leaving you here mom. I can't-" Destiny tried to argue as she looked up at her mom.

"Even if you unlock my chains in time I'm too weak to keep up with you two. You need to get out of here while you still can Destiny. Yuraggi is an insane woman, and if she finds you here I won't be able to protect you." Janissa explains, her voice cracking once again at the end of her sentence. Destiny frowned and clenched her hand tightly around the key still in her hand.

"We must leave now!" Jimmy spoke up again, this time even more anxious.

"I'll be okay." Janissa tried to reassure her daughter, placing a hand over Destiny's clenched one and pulling the key out of the keyhole. "Now please, get out of here."

"I'll be back, I promise." Destiny promised quietly, giving her mother a look of determination. Janissa gave her daughter a sad smile before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Go, get out of here." Janissa spoke again, this time making a gesture with her head to shoo her daughter away. Quickly, Destiny got up to her feet and ran over to Jimmy.

"I-It's too late! Yuraggi is here!" Jimmy warned as he hid behind a nearby barrel. Destiny looked down to the end of the hallway to see the large frame of someone holding an equally as tall polearm. Destiny could feel her blood run cold and looked to Jimmy for help.

"W-What do we do?" She questioned. The 'Shapeshifters' at the end of the hall had spotted her, and were now sprinting down the corridor towards her. "There's nowhere to run!" Destiny cried as she struggled to formulate a plan.

"Destiny is the Master of Species is she not? Transform!" Jimmy stated, still cowering in his spot behind the barrel.

"I can't! I don't know how!" Destiny said. As she looked back over to her side she now noticed that Jimmy was gone. He had left her. "Jimmy?" Destiny called out, but her search was cut short.

"Destiny! Look out!" Her mother's voice yelled out from the still open cell behind her. Before she had any time to react though Destiny felt her body forcibly shoved to the ground.

The young teen attempted to struggle out of the grips she felt holding her arms behind her back but it was no use, she was outnumbered. After a minute or so Destiny was lifted to her knees, her arms still pinned behind her. As she looked up the young girl was met with the face of an ivory mask. Glowing amber eyes seeming to peer through her very soul as her gaze met them.

The figure then cocked their head to the side, studying her as they did so. Destiny then tried to break free of the guards once again that held her, but before she could even get their grips to loosen the figure in front of her held the blade of their polearm close to her throat, a warning not to move. The figure then used their free hand to grab a hold of Destiny's jaw harshly.

Destiny could feel fear itself veil over every part of her body as the figure held her in their grasp. This person was strong, and Destiny had no doubt that they could shatter her bottom jaw if they so desired. Not only that but they were huge. Their thick muscles only proved to be a physical display to the amount of strength they possessed. Their massive size even towered over the mountainous Master of Earth in comparison.

"Don't you dare touch her Yuraggi!" Janissa shouted from her still chained spot in the adjacent prison cell.

"Jani, my dear old friend. I forewarned you of this. You knew what was coming, so don't act so surprised!" The figure stated with a rather happy sounding voice as she let go of Destiny and stood up straight.

"And you my dear," Yuraggi looked back down to Destiny. "We have been waiting for you! So, let's get this party started. Shall we?"

All Destiny felt next was a sharp pain in the back of her head, before the world around her was consumed in darkness.
