Episode 2: Från Myten Flyger Jag
"Last time on Total Drama: LV... seriously why the abbreviation?" Chris commented as he was seen on the outdoor performance stage, before resuming the introduction. "We had our first episode split into two parts because of time length. We met our contestants and judges, and saw the judges perform. The first challenge was introduced! Everyone got put into duets and teams, then shoved off to pick a group song before going off to their rooms. In the second part of the episode, we got to see them rehearse and rehearse. Drama ensued before their performances."
He was then seen walking off the stage while talking, "Some performances were good. Others were not so good. I wasn't impressed with the judges comments, maybe in the next singing episode it will be better. Trust me, even some viewers were iffy on the comments by the judges. But now we got a whole new episode here!"
It was roughly sunset and Chris stretched a small bit, "Now, we are having to do this episode at night. And what I have no idea what is actually going to happen to be honest."
Behind him, there were two glowing golden eyes that stood nearly a foot above his head.
"Who will win? Who will lose? Will we find out what will happen in this episode?" Chris asked as the gold eyes disappeared. "I hope to find out before the morning comes. So, let's find out right now on Total Drama LV!"
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine (A camera zooms in on Brett who is currently fixing another camera and he glances away for a second; at that moment Erin plugs something in and the camera explodes on them both).
You guys are on my mind. (Shion is seen reading over some music lyrics in a recording booth with Lloyd on the other side; Shion puts on the headphones as Lloyd plugs in a cord and he is instantly shocked, quickly Lloyd runs into the room to apologize to him).
You asked me what I wanted to be (Buck is seen fixing up a motorcycle and a spray of paint flies onto him as the camera pans out to see Quinn holding a can of spray paint; but Buck laughs it off).
And now I think the answer is plain to see, (V and Capone were seen tied back to back with wide smiles on their faces as Chef, angry and red in the face, slams a large pot before them).
I wanna be famous (Antoinette and Chelsea are seen on stage doing poses before Laverne shoved them aside and struts with a perfect smile on her face).
I wanna live close to the sun, (Mikata was seen meditating before being startled by Mork mixing his EDM music out loud nearby him).
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won. (Vernon is seen writing a song before Jacob pulls it from him to read the lyrics for approval, but Charlize snapped it out of his hands with a growl on her face).
Everything to prove nothing in my way, (Luna was seen at a computer, a smirk forming on her face as glowing green smoke formed around her).
I'll get there one day. (Vivian was seen practicing a gymnastic routine, but slipped on a towel that she left on the mat with an embarrassed look on her face).
Cause, I wanna be famous! (Shane was seen opening a box full of fireworks and quickly running off with them before a crew member caught him).
Na na na, na na na, (Yves was seen going behind a large screen as a light turned on, her shadow visible on the screen as she began dancing).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quinton was seen looking at a computer, typing in some numbers before it short circuits on him and he switches to pen and paper).
Na na na, na na na,(Rival is seen running after crying Erin down a long hallway but he blinks, sees that she wasn't there and slumps down a wall his hands covering his face).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quaoar was seen battling off some remote control fight robots with his swords and yawns as they were too easy for him until one comes out with chainsaw attached or its arms; grinning with anticipation for this fight).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous (Mag and Chris were seen arguing with each other and she roughly shoved him away, bolting out of the area with an angry look on her face while leaving him worried/frustrated).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! (Black and white cutouts of different creatures and people scroll on the screen of who was to appear on the season).
(Whistling in tune, the contestants are seen hanging out around a lounge pool area. Chef and Chris appear soon enough, but everyone is startled/fleeing/anticipating a fight by the exploding sounds of fireworks before a camera zooms in on a table top with TDLV carved onto it).
Chris could hear the crickets chirping and he yawned a small bit as he stepped outside of the mini-hotel that he had been staying in. Looking up to the sky, he saw that is was already cloudy so the moon couldn't be seen.
"Guess Las Vegas is getting hit by a storm," Chris mumbled as he walked towards the other mini-hotel where the contestants were at. Yawning, he didn't take notice of the glowing golden eyes that were behind him as he walked into the building; but they disappeared as he opened up the door and stepped in.
"Good evening contestants!" Chris spoke, where he got some groans from them. "I know, it was only yesterday that you guys had your first singing performance of the season, but time for our second episode to begin!"
"At night?" Chelsea complained.
"Yup, at night." Chris spoke. "You guys get to be exploring the grounds and handling whatever creature is now lurking about this place that Sephiria brought onto the show... Which I have yet to see, but the camera crew has."
The contestants looked past Chris and stared at the camera crew that was behind him.
"Just what are we supposed to be looking for?" Vivian asked him.
"Some sort of creature that freaks out a lot of people," Chris spoke. "Sephiria was inspired to bring in this creatures because she likes myth's and cryptids... you know the supernatural stuff. No idea why, but she just wanted to bring something like this in.
Everyone blinked at him, slowly realizing that they were dealing with something that no one has ever had experience with.
"And things in this episode are going to be interesting," Sephiria commented as she stepped out from the shadows. Her brown hair, which was previously dark, was now a lighter shade with the ends dyed a shade of rose red. For her outfit, she wore and off-shoulder sleeve white dress that stopped mid-upper thigh with a four inch slit up the left side, a blue belt around her waist. She had on long white gloves that went from her wrists and under her off-shoulder sleeves that had an off-white pattern on them; pale grey tights with metallic blue wedge platform shoes, silver diamond shape earrings and a silvery-grey bib necklace set with light sapphire blue gems. She had on black lipstick and galaxy grey eyeshadow that made her eyes pop.
"Jesus!" Chris cried out as he jumped back to see Sephiria behind him.
She simply laughed at him.
"So... you upgraded your look," Chris spoke with a flat voice.
"Deal with it McLean, at least I don't stick with the same thing every season." Sephiria spoke. He glared at her as she stepped forward and glanced at the contestants.
"Like Chris said, you'll be facing a creature," Sephiria spoke. "But it's not Sasquatchanakwa. It's something else. You'll want to keep your eyes open at all times. You'll never know what might happen to you."
"But why are we doing it at night?" Laverne asked.
"It's when this creature is most active," Sephiria answered before Chris could speak.
"Also, this is the first episode that you guys will be working in teams!" Chris happily spoke. "And we're going with star themed names! Team one which has Rival, Antoinette, Vivian, Charlize, Mikata, Erin and V, Brett, Quinn, Yves and Lloyd. You guys are officially the Serene Hadar. Team two made up of Shion, Quaoar, Quinton, Buck and Chelsea, Vernon, Luna, Mork, Jacob, Laverne and Mag. You guys for now on are the Celestial Procyon."
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"Star themed stuff belongs in Hollywood." She complained, pitching her voice in an annoying way while rolling her eyes.
Sephiria's Confessional Scene:
"Hollywood was my first season. I'm not doing another one there. Period."
"Sasquatchanakwa doesn't exist," Quinton pointed out. "It's just some man in a suit or some sort of robot. These "creatures" are just myths or stories that people use to scare or excite others."
Everyone looked over at Quinton, some raising eyebrows at him or having a look that they could care less about what he was talking about. Sephiria's eye twitched at his words and a thinly stretched smile spread across her face.
"Well, let's see what happens in this episode then," Sephiria spoke. "You challenge is going to last through the night, so there wont' be much time for sleep for anyone. Best of luck on handling the situation that is going on."
Behind Sephiria everyone could see the all of the crews leaving the place, including the camera people that followed them around.
"The only camera's following you will be the ones hidden at every single place here that defies all shut downs whether they are natural or supernatural," Chris spoke. "So, you guys will be left all alone! And defenseless! So no maintenance or other staff, including me and Sephiria. Later."
"Wait, you're leaving us alone?" Rival asked.
"Yup, you guys will have the whole place to yourself!" Chris happily told him.
"What about singing?" Vivian asked him.
"Not in this episode, your focus needs to be on this creature while working with your appropriate teams," Chris spoke to them. "So, later."
With that said, Chris and Sephiria walked away from the area as silence fell over everyone.
"No other instructions?" Jacob yelled out towards Chris and Sephiria. "Any advice?"
"NO ONE BUT YOUR OWN TEAM CAN HELP YOU!" Chris shouted back to him.
"Well this is just lovely," Charlize commented.
"Just what the heck are we supposed to be doing?" Luna questioned, "We practically got no instructions here."
"Sephiria did say we had to handle whatever is happening here," Laverne piped up. "So, I guess... we just do what we can with what little we have."
"They are just trying to prank us," Quinton said. "This has to be a prank episode."
At that point, all the lights to all the buildings at the whole place turned off one by one.
"If it is a prank, they're taking it to extremes," Vivian spoke, gulping a small bit.
The Celeste Procyon were seen walking around the inside of the hotel, the hallways completely dark as they slowly moved around in the darkness.
"Ouch," Chelsea snapped, turning to see who stepped on her. But she slammed right into Mork, making him fall onto the ground.
"Ow," Mork commented as he rubbed the back of his head before letting out a yelp as Chelsea fell right on top of him.
"Can we get some light?" Vernon asked.
"If we find an electrical box, I can rig it to turn the power back on," Buck said. As he finished his sentence, there was an eerie green lighting falling over them and everyone looked at Luna to see that she had a glowing orb in her hand.
"Welcome," she spoke in an unsympathetic tone, her eyes looking glazed over almost appearing as if she wasn't really "there" with them.
"You okay Luna?" Vernon asked as he walked over to her.
"I'm concentrating, so I'm fine," Luna spoke. At that moment, the glowing orb she held flickered.
"Alright, no one talk to Luna," Jacob said. "She needs to concentrate. Chelsea and Mork, get off the ground."
Chelsea scoffed at Jacob as Shion went over to the two and helped Chelsea up off of Mork; his hands barely touching her waist as he helped her.
Mork got off the ground with the help of Capone holding out a hand for him, but he received a major shock in the process. Capone just laughed at this while Mork shook his hand.
"Buzzer's for the win," Capone laughed.
"Can we get moving already?" Mag asked them, "We're wasting time."
"I agree," Quaoar spoke, his swords drawn out. "We might have to fight this thing."
"And risk injuring an actual person?" Quinton asked. "Do you have any idea what kind of lawsuit that could bring?"
Quaoar blinked at Quinton only once, his swords not budging from his hands.
"I can claim self-defense," Quaoar commented, walking away from Quinton.
"And we don't even know if it's actually a "man" anyway," Capone laughed at Quinton. "It could be a mutated animal for all we know."
Everyone began walking again, keeping close to Luna as she was the only source of light for the group. Everything around them was dead quiet, especially since the building was empty.
"I-I th-though there was people h-here?" Mikata stuttered.
"It's closed for the show," V stated.
"Bet when it opens, it's gonna blow up with folks," Buck commented as they entered a room. They saw a bunch of monitors that were showing static and headsets were lying all around; illuminating the room enough for Luna to make the glowing orb disappear. Sitting down at one of the computers, Shion put on one of the headsets and listened in.
"Got some words, but mainly static," Shion commented. "So, nothing good. But the other team is still moving."
"I wonder what they're doing?" Jacob questioned.
"Another question," Vernon asked. "Why are all the lights out in the first place?"
"Probably to scare us, add more drama," Quinton asked. "That's my theory."
"Or the creature," Mag said, spinning herself around on one of the swivel chairs, only to be sped up by Capone.
"Not possible," Quinton said.
Outside the building, the Serene Hadar were walking around the grounds using the lights of their phones to guide their way. There was no moonlight and the main city lights weren't helping them at all since they were far away from them.
"This is insane," Charlize commented. "How are we supposed to find something when we don't know what we are supposed to be finding? It would be nice to have decent information so that way we could-"
"Oh. my. God," Antoinette spoke, interrupting Charlize. "Shut up already, will ya?"
"Excuse me?" Charlize snapped.
"You've gone on for two minutes talking out loud to yourself and all you've done was give me a headache!" Antoinette spoke. "If we lose, my vote is on you."
"Then I will happily vote for your elimination," Charlize commented.
"What's with the girls?" Brett commented.
"Drama," Rival spoke as he looked around for Erin. She was skipping around a moment or two ago, but now she was out of sight. Then he heard her yelling.
"Guys look what I found!" Erin shouted, making everyone run over to her location. They all saw her standing in front of a weird wall.
"A giant wall!" Erin happily shrieked.
"What?" Yves commented, in an annoyed voice. A few others groaned that they thought she found something important.
"And take notice," Erin said running off in one direction before yelling out, "It never ends!"
She soon ran past them once more while shouting out loud, "It never ends this way either!"
She ran back to the group, crashing into Rival after tripping on a rock.
"Are we trapped?" Erin asked Rival, staring at him with owl-like eyes.
"Umm... no?" Rival spoke, while at that moment V lifted up Erin's head and Erin saw the open area that they had walked from before her.
"Oh," Erin said cheerfully.
Yves Confessional Scene:
"I'm sorry, but how could she forget that we walked from the hotel and through a huge area with a lot of space?"
Erin's Confessional Scene:
"I'm so silly!" Erin happily laughed, before the cord to the light above her snapped and fell on top of her head.
Rival's Confessional Scene:
He was seen using his lightning to produce some light, "Erin... god things are hard right now. I just - I'm sorry."
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
"I-I don't get her... How is she... l-like this, w-when n-no one really seems to l-like her?" He stuttered while looking away, "S-She's like me. No one l-likes me."
"Well, let's keep moving," Charlize commented. "No point in standing around like someone who doesn't even realize that they're staring at last season's fashion thinking it's this seasons."
"I-I like last season's fashion," Vivian spoke. "It was nice. The cotton sweater was super comfy."
"Was I talking to you?" Charlize snapped at Vivian. "No, I wasn't. I don't care about what you have to say about fashion, obviously you don't pay attention to current trends. So, shut up."
"Wow, and I thought Antoinette was the girl who hadn't drank her fancy drink yet," V commented as she walked past Charlize.
"Total b****," Rival spoke as he walked by with the other members of his team.
Rival's Confessional Scene:
"Are you serious? Curse words are bleeped?" Rival asked and the camera nodded up and down at him.
The Celeste Procyon had left the camera room where the cameramen went over the footage, continuing to walk around the main hotel; they had gone down a staircase and walked through metal doors. They had entered a large room, where Luna's light orb reflected off of surfaces.
"Huge room," Vernon said, as they saw high up the ceilings were and that it seemed to be bigger than their current bedrooms.
"Dude, we can run football sessions in here," Capone said. "Except the floor would need to be changed from wood to grass. And the glass stuff needs to be gone as well. Heck, maybe we can do basketball here if we have the chance."
Mork patted the walls looking for a switch or something that might reactivate the lights, until he found a lever. Leaning close to it, he saw the words "HIGH VOLTAGE - USE WITH CAUTION. MAY RESULT IN DEATH. GOOD LUCK!" on a sign above the lever. There was even a smiley face on either side of the words "GOOD LUCK!".
"Ummm... guys?" Mork called out; the light fading behind him. Looking behind him, it was completely dark now and they had no idea that they had continued walking on without him.
Everything was quiet around him and he couldn't even hear the footsteps of his own team, just his own breathing. He stepped away from the wall, feeling okay to be alone in complete darkness as he didn't mind it. Reaching out in front of him as he continued to step forward, he felt one of the glass objects that Capone pointed out. Smiling to himself, he continued to move forward through the area, feeling the corners of the objects that he came into contact with.
Then, he felt a rush of air go right past him. The breeze ruffled his hair and he froze right where he was. He kept his hand on one of the glass objects as he heard something shuffle about before it went deadly quiet again. Standing there, he just waited.
And waited.
Before long, the glow started to return again. And his shoulders relaxed a small bit.
"What the heck? How long have you been standing there?" Chelsea snapped at him.
"Shut it Chelsea," Mag commented. "Dude, you look like you've seen a ghost."
"It was here," Mork spoke, his hand dropping from the glass. A couple teammates looked at him raised eyebrows, but relaxed after a moment.
"Well, let's get out of this storage room," Jacob spoke. Buck patted Mork on his shoulder while giving him a smile that kind of told him he did a good job. Nodding his head, he followed after his teammates but made a mental note about the lever.
It could possibly be useful.
"This episode is too skeptical," Quinton noted as they walked out of the room. "They expect us to handle a creature, that we know nothing about and that has high potential of not actually existing for a whole night? Does anyone else think we're being played?"
"It does seem to be a bit strange, but we shouldn't dismiss things so easily," Laverne commented.
"It doesn't matter, these things don't exist," Quinton spoke, walking ahead of the group.
"Ugh, this show already sucks," Chelsea spoke. "We haven't done anything good enough to have us exposed! I mean, we're like, on a reality show. This is so not reality."
The camera's soon refocused on Serene Hadar but it was quickly obvious that they were now missing members. Rival, Vivian, Brett, Antoinette, Lloyd, Erin, Quinn and Mikata were gone. Thus V, Charlize and Yves were the only ones.
"We lost roughly three-fourths of our team in half an hour," Charlize mumbled under her breath. "Does no one want to do anything as a team."
"You know what *****, screw this," V stated. "Charlize, quit your yapping. No one really gives a care about you trying to lead us."
"And breathing down our necks doesn't help," Yves commented, walking away from Charlize.
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"I swear, we are going to lose this challenge because of everyone. Apparently no ones knows that "TEAM" means."
Yves's Confessional Scene:
"Charlize is why we split up. Antoinette, could careless currently."
V's Confessional Scene:
"How much health insurance does this show give us? Just in case there's an... accident. Or a really horrible fight."
Erin was happily dragging Mikata along with her up one of the fire escape staircases, who stumbled quite a bit as Erin never once slowed down. Quinn followed right behind them, easily keeping up the same speed as Erin.
"We're going to find this creature and give it a piece of our minds!" Erin happily cried out. "Then we're going to have a party with it as the guest of honor! What kind of cake would it like?"
"W-What?" Mikata asked, clearly confused about Erin's thinking.
"Uh... monsters don't eat cake," Quinn pointed out.
Right at that moment, Erin tripped on a step that she was walking up and ended up going down the stair case; dragging Mikata down with her. Quinn had quickly pressed herself against a wall and saw them go all the way down to the landing.
"Are you guys okay?" Quinn called out.
"I'm good!" Erin happily called out, cheerfully sitting up. "Mikata softened my blow!"
"Is Mikata okay?" Quinn asked her. Turning towards Mikata, he groaned a small bit and Erin happily shook her head that he was.
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
He was seen applying icepacks to the areas that were sore, "W-Why do they care?"
Standing up, Erin pulled Mikata up to his feet and dragged him along with her once more.
"No time to rest, we have to find this creature! So, how do we want to trap it?" Erin asked, "On second thought... let's not trap it. That would be too mean. It hasn't done anything wrong to us!"
"Not that we don't know of yet," Quinn said. Mikata just shrugged but stayed quiet.
"Plus, we were only told to survive the night with the creature," Quinn stated. "And I think in Chris's terms that means avoiding it as much as possible."
"Aww, but avoiding people or things isn't nice!" Erin complained, letting go of Mikata, stopping mid-step and slamming face down onto the staircase.
The camera switched over to Rival, who was just walking around the grounds by himself. Kicking open one of the doors to the main hotel with a grin on his face, he casually walked right on in. Walking down the hallways, most of the doors to rooms were still locked with some even having bolt-locks on them.
"What the heck?" Rival spoke as he stared at the locks. Looking at them a bit more closely, it was a combination-key combo lock.
Shrugging, he walked away from the room and noticed that a few more doors were set up with the same locks as he went about. Some of the doors were left open and were still going through renovations as there were paint cans and furniture being moved in. Walking into one room, he saw the whole set up was that of a private bar.
He'll definitely check it out once it's finished.
Down the hallway, he heard the sound of metal clashing against something harshly and he left the room to see what the noise was about. He checked in whatever room he could open and walked down the long hallways as he made his way towards the spot where the sound happened. Stepping into a small sitting area where three hallways connected, he heard a loud squeal and was quickly hugged by Erin.
"RIVAL!" Erin happily shrilled out, nearly ruining his hearing in the process.
"We should head to the west side of this place," Jacob stated as they walked down one of the hallways that had hotel rooms.
"We were there," Capone muttered.
"Can we just say you're failing in leading us?" Mag pointed out to Jacob.
"What?" Jacob as what Mag said gained his attention and turning around to look at his team. Looking at him, he noticed that a few faces from the team (Mork, Shion and Buc specifically) were gone before Luna's light gave out.
"Get that back up so we can see," Jacob snapped at her.
"Hey, I need to rest," Luna said, sounding a bit tired. "You try walking around while using your own energy to make a light for everyone to see."
"Who cares if you need to rest," Chelsea said, snapping her fingers at her. "Make that stupid light again."
"Hey, we don't have to act like this with each other," Vernon said. "We're all cool here, so let's just do a one-eighty on our moods and see the best of our situation. Come on, we have a monster to catch!"
"There is no monster," Quinton spoke up. "Even if there was, and in theory if there was, how would we even catch it? We have-"
A loud scream interrupted Quinton's sentence, making everyone grow silent. After a few moments of silence between them all, Vernon was the first one to speak up.
"That was a few floors above us," Vernon commented, leaning over a railing.
"Well, we can't go up there and do anything," Jacob said. "We can only help our own team. Chris said so."
Luna's light soon returned, but it was a bit dimmer. Vernon looked a bit uneasy, wanting to go and see what was happening.
"Dude, come on," Capone stated, "it wouldn't hurt to go see what happened right? I mean, if we just go to see then we're technically not helping them."
Jacob was about to say something before he got a painful shock as Capone gave him a hard slap on the back. He almost collapsed to his knees, but managed to grab a hold of a doorknob to keep him from fully collapsing.
"Later, Lord Tyranny!" Capone shouted as he ran off, who was followed by Laverne and Luna who decided to use this as an escape.
With that said, the rest of the team moved off before Jacob could say anything to them.
Vernon and Mag moved off as their own team; Laverne, Luna, and Capone set off on their own while Quaoar decided it was best to depart from them alone. All that was left in the hallway was Jacob, Quinton and Chelsea.
"You're the most logical one to stay with out of the whole team," Quinton informed Jacob.
"I'd rather not be stuck with the idiots," Chelsea spoke. "We can eliminate one of them if we lose this challenge."
"We haven't found anything yet," Quinton spoke. "All we've done is just wander around, have one member feel a strong breeze and pre-recorded sounds. Nothing more. Everyone is being ridiculous that there is an actual monster here, when in truth we are being played by the show that there is one."
"Well, do you have anything here that supports it's an actual human?" Chelsea snapped at Quinton. "You going on about "it being fake" is getting boooooring."
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"Ugh, what is with this man?" She spoke, making a small ticking sound that kind of made her jerk a small bit. "God he sounds so boring! Like extremely boring! He's acting like "I'm soooo smart!" and it's getting sooo lame."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"At least some people are willing to stay with a leader."
Vernon and Mag moved up a staircase in total darkness, their hands gripping the railing as they dashed up the staircase. Everything was quiet except for the sound of their feet hitting each step as they continued to move up. Stopping at a landing, Vernon opened up the door and they listened for any sounds.
"I don't hear anything down here," Mag whispered to him. "Should we move to the next floor or explore this floor?"
Vernon looked towards where the rest of the stairs were, thinking for a second before opening the door up some more. "Let's explore, then we don't have to go up stairs for a while."
"Good call," Mag said as they both walked onto the floor.
Vernon flipped the switch to the hallway lights, but nothing turned on. At least there was still some sort of light from outside as the moon was slowly coming out from behind the clouds. Of course, they did have their phones, but if anything were to happen without any electricity they would be in a pretty bad position.
"You know, I wonder why we didn't use our phones earlier?" Mag whispered. "I mean then we could have saved Luna's energy."
Vernon just nodded his head at her as they looked around the room. After a few moments, Vernon walked out of the room and walked over to the railing. Letting out a sigh, he heard something running towards him and before he could react it shoved him over the railing without a care in the world. He let out a bit of scream but felt something grab him by the ankle. Looking up, he saw Mag holding onto him.
"P-Please pull me up," Vernon stuttered out.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"God... this is going to get back to my family..." He put his hands over his face and let out a small whimper.
Quaoar walked through the halls, just staying quiet but keeping his swords drawn in both hands; moonlight slipping in through the floor-to-ceiling windows on the other side of the area.
He could hear Erin happily shouting outside, her vocals at their highest pitch. Popping his neck, he continued walking down the hallway and turned at a corner down another hallway.
He heard someone scream from not far away and moved towards the sound, but he paused after taking four steps in. Turning his head, he saw Vivian, Brett, Lloyd and Antoinette staring at him.
"They allowed swords here?" Lloyd asked him. "Dude, those look cool."
He simply stared at him, giving him a look that said "alright".
"Oh my god," Antoinette said. "Can we not talk with the people on the opposite team? I mean, hello? We're trying to get them to lose."
"But we don't know how to win this episode," Vivian pointed out. This caused them all to kind of perked up at that thought. No one told them what they had to do to win this episode.
"Sh-Shut up," Antoinette stuttered, stomping off from them; they quickly followed after her, going down the staircase nearby.
Quaoar shook his head and walked away from them, continuing in the direction that the scream came from. He could hear scratching at the walls, the grip he had on his swords tightened and he stiffened. Then he swiftly fell backwards, as a tail with spikes that could puncture someone all the way through their chest swiped right over him; mere inches away from his face.
A thing smile formed on his face, as he swiftly used one of his two swords and sliced into the creature's tail. It was tough for him to actually cut into the tail, but he heard the creature let out a long hiss at him and the tail swung back at him. Swiftly, he clashed both swords against it and saw the faint glint of scales underneath the feathers.
Jumping backwards, he saw it moved down the hallway but slowly circling back towards him.
"At least this will be a bit more interesting," Quaoar muttered under his breath. "And worth the fight."
He heard it hiss once more pounced at him and he slid right under it; one of his swords cutting through its feathers and thinly slicing through its scales. He felt the broken-off part of the feathers fall onto his face and heard the droplets of blood splat on the floor. Swiftly moving back onto his feet, he heard its claws graze at the floor; sinking in deep and ripping up the wood and the material underneath.
He could hear his heart beating in his ears as the area around him became deathly quiet. Tuning out his heart beat, he readjusted his swords in his hands and focused his hearing on the creature. Then he heard the flap of the wings.
Moving over to the railing, he saw it fly down a few floors before darting down a hallway. Narrowing his eyes, he walked away from the railing where at that moment he heard shouting from down below and the sound of someone crying.
Vivian cried a small bit as she sat on the bed while Brett searched around the room for the proper medical supplies. After a few moments, he found the disinfectant and gauze.
"I think we should wash the wound first before we do anything else," Brett said.
Vivian nodded her head at him and hopped off the bed and walked over to the sink. Turning on the sink, Brett helped her washed off the wound on her lower arm. He could see that it was a single claw mark.
"My mom is going to kill me," Vivian spoke as she sniffled.
"No one expected this to happen," Brett told her as he grabbed towels and patted her lower arm dry. Guiding her away from the sink, he removed the towels and began to apply the disinfectant spray onto the wound.
"What the heck is going on?" Antoinette asked, walking into the room.
"Vivian got attacked, that's what," Brett spoke as he picked up the gauze.
Walking over, Antoinette shivered at seeing the wound. Her mind kind of blinked back to the events of Act II but she shook her head to get rid of those thoughts.
"There disinfected, wrapped and taped," Brett spoke. "I don't think you would need stitches cause it didn't look too deep, but I'm not a pro at this so we'll have to keep our eyes on it until we can get actual help."
"Okay," Vivian spoke. Her crying had stopped and she stared down at her arm. She was really hoping that it wasn't going to leave a scar. If it did, her mom would be telling her that her entire career is now down the drain and no one would want her. Not even the Total Drama show.
"Is she good?" Antoinette asked, staring at Vivian who was looking at her wound with a hurt but distant look.
"I think so," Brett answered.
"So, what's goin on?" Laverne asked as she walked in.
"Oh. My. God." Antoinette complained. "Are we going to be repeating the whole story to everyone as they walk into the room?"
"Ummm probably?" Laverne said in a questioning tone.
"The thing scratched stupid here," Antoinette said, gesturing to Vivian. "End of story."
"Well, you didn't have to be rude about it," Laverne said. "Good thing that there was a medical room."
"And there are flashlights here," Brett answered. "So, that's good that we have working lights... though it's weird that these and the camera's are the only things that actually work."
"Ugh, is everyone forgetting their phones?" Antoinette complained, holding hers up with the flashlight on.
Lloyd soon burst in to the room with a large smile on his face, "So, what's up?"
"Treating a loser teammate," Antoinette said as she walked out in a huff; ignoring her phone saying "BATTERY DEAD - SHUTTING DOWN".
"Aw, that sucks," Lloyd said. "But hey, sometimes wounds can make you look even hotter."
The three stared at them, knowing that he was trying to cheer up Vivian.
Laverne let out a sigh that kind of told Lloyd that he said the wrong words and quickly ducked out of the room, leaving Brett and Lloyd there to handle Vivian.
"NO IT WON'T!" Vivian cried out, putting her hands over her face. "MY CAREER IS OVER! MY MOM IS GOING TO DISOWN ME AND EVERYTHING! NO ONE EVER LIKES TO SEE SCARS!"
Lloyd's Confessional Scene:
"That was... really, really stupid of me to say."
Rival had popped off the cap to a beer bottle and took a few gulps of it. He could hear the tap of heels and quickly hid the bottle and grabbed a soda bottle, which he immediately popped the cap off. Looking over at the door, he saw Laverne enter the room.
She gave him a shrug and walked past him, typed in a code on a small keypad and pulled out a bottle.
"What the heck?" Rival asked.
"What?" Laverne spoke as she the cork off the bottle and grabbed herself a glass. "I can drink wine."
He stared at her as she glanced at the glass in her hand before setting down on the counter. Her eyes glanced over to the bottle and she immediately drank from it.
"Good news, I can hold my liquor," Laverne spoke.
"Jesus, I thought you were here to bust me or something," Rival spoke as he grabbed his beer bottle from where he hid it and drank from it. "So, why aren't you with your team?"
"Why aren't you with yours?" Laverne said, leaning against a wall with a small smile on her face.
"Getting a break from them," Rival said. "Vivian left with Brett and Lloyd with Antoinette right on their heels, Charlize is driving us up a literal wall while V and Yves are stuck with her, Erin went after... whatever that thing was with Quinn right at her heels... Oh, Erin excitedly dragged Mikata away with her. The others, I lost track of. You?"
"Jacob is basically the male version of your Charlize problem but less bitchy," Laverne spoke. "Luna disappeared, not sure where she went off too. No idea on Quaoar... I have no idea when I last saw him. Chelsea is a total snob and acting like she's *****. And everyone else... I kind of tuned out of my mind. I just know I need a good drink."
"I can agree on that," Rival spoke as he drank the last few gulps of his beer.
Laverne put the cork back on the wine bottle and threw it in the trashcan, popping her neck a small bit.
"You want to know where the good stuff is?" Laverne asked him. "Stuff that's aged by a good twenty-years."
"Sure, show the way." Rival spoke in agreement. Walking behind the bar, Laverne pulled back the mat and showed a hidden door.
"I saw Chris go down here late last night after the first challenge, figured he'd be hiding the good stuff for himself," Laverne said as Rival opened the door and the two went down. It was completely dark, except for the light that came from above the open door. Feeling around the wall, Rival found a switch and turned it on.
And they saw rows of bottles on the walls.
"Damn," Rival whistled under his breath, seeing all of the . Turning around full circle, Rival froze as he stared at the opening that they came through. Behind them, he could see the creature - long limbs, it's whole body completely covered in feathers with a long tail that had spikes on the end of it swishing back and forth. Quills ran down from the back of its head to its tail, with the tail tip having a tuff of fur like a lion right after the spikes, sharp claws on each of its four fingers and toes; one set of its claw tips already had dried blood on it. It had a long snout with some teeth visible, but under the feathers Rival could almost see scales underneath; but it shocked Rival a small bit that the creature itself was barely bleeding. But when his eyes crossed its glowing gold eyes, it kept a hold of him for a few mere seconds as it took a step towards him.
"Uh... Laverne," Rival called out, snapping out of the daze he was in.
"Do you want a six or ten year wine?" Laverne asked him as she browsed through the wines, ignoring the fact that the creature was there.
"Laverne, the-the thing is here," Rival spoke as he backed up.
"What thing?" Laverne asked as she looked over to him and saw the creature standing there, her mouth falling open.
"That thing," Rival said.
"Oh crap," Laverne said.
Rival could feel the electricity building up in his hands but it quickly diminished before his eyes.
"What the hell?" He muttered, staring down at his hands. He tried to make the electricity come out of his hands again, but nothing was coming.
"L-Let's go," Laverne yelled at him, grabbing his arm and the two bolted off into a run. They heard the creature screech like it was crying out in pain, running at them. Turning around a corner and ducking behind two large barrels, it shoved aside a rack of bottles; some breaking on the wall they were by, a few feet above their heads. They were drenched with the wine and broken shards of glass.
They could hear it sniffing for a while, bottles of wine rattling on the rack as it moved around. The two just held their breath as they waited for it to leave.
Then they heard clawing sounds with bits of stone falling to the ground before it grew completely quiet. Standing up, Rival walked out and his snapped his fingers to see a small spark of lightning come from the motion.
"L-Let's get out of this room," Laverne said in a whisper. "Before it comes back and actually kills us."
Going back the way that they came, they closed the door and slid the mat back over the place.
"Oh crap, didn't Chris say only our teams can help us out?" Rival asked, his head down.
"Umm... we are nowhere near our teams," Laverne pointed out. "And we almost got killed by that thing. Plus, we were just hanging out with each other and ran in the same direction plus hid in the same spot. So, definitely not helping each other. And we decided to go with surviving instead of dying."
"Okay, hopefully, Chris and Sephiria will agree with us," Rival spoke, rubbing the back of his head.
Rival's Confessional Scene:
"I-I just don't get it. How did my electricity die out? Does it null powers?"
"So, how are we going to stop this creature?" Shion asked, a mischievous smile forming on his face.
"We need something to attract it, keep it occupied from us," Buck answered. "Then we need something to that can... take it down. Like a trap."
"There's a high voltage panel in the basement," Mork spoke. The two of them stared at him, the gears in Buck's head already moving.
"We can work with that," Buck said.
"With the power being down like this, maybe there's still some voltage going through it." Shion said, a mischievous smile coming onto his face. "I mean, just because the lights and stuff are turned off, doesn't mean the flow doesn't stop. It's just waiting for something to jump start it."
"So, we lure it there," Buck said, "and get it to hit the panel."
"Maybe we should talk to the others and get some more info on this creature," Shion spoke up. "Know the enemy, right?"
"Good point," Mork answered.
"People on our team will know," Buck said. "Let's find them and see what they know."
Nodding their heads, they ran off to find their teammates - which was easier said than done, due to the place being so huge and their teammates could be anywhere. They thought they found their teammates a time or two, but ended up being the opposite team members (especially with Erin somehow falling from the sky as they were outside; she was too excited to explain what she did to make her fall from the sky as she ran off to do it again). Walking inside the main building, they sat down on the seats in the lobby.
"You know," Shion spoke up after a good hour of walking around, "I'm surprised we haven't run into the creature yet."
"It's weirder that it didn't go after Erin when she made all that noise," Buck spoke, adjusting his boot and took notice that he had a flashlight in it. Mork nodded his head in agreement.
Stopping short, Buck looked in the direction of the room where the high voltage panel was at. He saw Vivian, Brett and Lloyd walk into the same room. Standing up on his feet, he went over to the room and opened up the door; jamming the hinges to where they couldn't close.
"Uh... what are you doing?" Mork said.
"And open invitation," Buck said. "All other doors are closed, but this one is opened. Curiosity is a strong feeling."
"And curiosity leads to a lot of fun," Shion laughed. Heading into the room, Buck pulled a flashlight out of his boot and turned it on; the bright light reflecting off the mirrors.
"What the heck?" Brett spoke, turning around to see the three walk into the room.
"Ouch, what happened?" Shion spoke as he stared at Vivian's wrapped up arm. She let out a small whimper and took off running in the room.
"It's a long story," Lloyd said as he rubbed the side of his head. It was obvious he had a headache now. "What are you doing?"
"Going to stop this thing," Buck said. "Think it has a reward on his head?"
"Probably not," Shion answered.
"If there was, it probably be worth a whole lot less than the season reward prize," Lloyd answered. Shion walked around the area for a few seconds, his eyes glancing towards the door. Then he heard the sound of something sniffing.
"G-guys," he stuttered, pointing to the door. Everyone grew quiet and moved to spots where they would be less seen; Buck turning off the flashlight in the process.
And they waited for what felt like hours.
"RAWR!" Erin shouted, laughing in the process.
"Erin, what the heck?" Lloyd complained.
"You guys all froze," Erin laughed, tripping over her own foot.
"I'm going to find Vivian," Lloyd said as he walked away to find her.
"I'll handle Erin," Brett said. Walking over to her, he helped her up and walked her out of the room telling Mork, Buck and Shion good luck.
"So, we got mirrors, a light, voltage box, and what else?" Shion asked as he stared at Buck and Mork.
"Two other people in the room," Mork stated.
Walking over to a mirror, Buck kicked the bottom of it and made it shattered. Shion and Mork just stared at him as he gathered up glass shards and set them up at different spots around the room before deciding to break other mirrors and doing the same.
"Uh, what are you doing?" Shion asked.
"If light reflects from different locations, most people or creatures tend to figure out where it's coming from," Buck said. "So, if we use our phones and the flashlight, we can cause a reflecting effect. It's like how rhinestones reflect light off and make this dazzle effect on the area around it."
"That might get Erin's attention," Shion told him. "But hey, it'll be pretty."
"Or the creature," Mork spoke up as he pulled out his phone and turned on the flashlight.
"Prepare for a show," Buck said as he put down the flashlight and the bright beam reflected off all the shards of glass, creating a dazzling effect on the walls; some of the reflected beam of light hitting the intact mirrors. Erin had swung back to see how they were doing but got distracted by all of the dazzling lights that were going about the room; before Lloyd returned and pulled her away, telling her not to help or she would be eliminated.
After they had left, they hid in areas where the reflected didn't touch them.
"So, is this like laser point for a cat?" Shion asked in a whisper.
Mork just shrugged his shoulder, the three of them now just waited. Perhaps, it was going to be a long wait for them.
"When you get the chance, get it to hit the box," Buck said.
"What?" Mork asked, his eyebrows raised in fear. "Why me?"
"Your phone is closer to the panel." Buck answered.
Shion started to hush the two as he pointed towards the door. They could see the creature coming into the room.
Nodding Buck slowly got up and moved towards his phone and flashlight as the creature came into the room; Mork and Shion did the same thing, hands on the phones to turn off the lights coming from them. Nodding their heads at each other, they turned off the lights.
"What the heck happened?" Capone shouted as he bolted into the room where Mork, Shion and Buck were in; the screech had echoed throughout the whole building. And quite possibly could be heard outside as well.
Mork was breathing in deeply, staring at the charred mass that was before him. The power in the building that had been out, had finally returned.
"We-We got it," Shion stuttered.
"WE GOT IT!" Buck shouted out cheerfully. "WOOHOO!"
Mork was against the wall, still taking the whole thing in. Other contestants started to come into the room, looking at what was now the remains of the creature; they could hear the loud cheering from Buck. And the loud screeching sound of the creature.
"Who let it end like this?" Jacob asked, staring down at the creature. He turned his head away, swearing that he could have seen something drip from the wing.
"Mork got it to hit the power switch there," Shion spoke.
Quinton walked over to it and just shook his head, "You're going to need a lawyer."
"W-What?" Mork spoke up as he, Shion and Buck stared at Quinton
"You basically just killed someone," Quinton said. "This is all fake, everyone knows it."
"Whoa, whoa," Rival spoke up. "That thing nulled my powers."
"It threw casks of wine, those things can hold over sixty gallons of wine!" Laverne spitted out at Quinton. "And that stuff is heavy. And knocked over a whole shelf, that's installed into the floor as well!"
"Aren't you on the opposite team?" Capone asked her, as other contestants came into the room.
"Jesus! What the heck happened?" Chris spoke as he came into the room, gripping the sides of his head. "Also, who wrecked the wine cellar?"
"Uh... Mork, Buck, Shion- they stopped-" Vivian whispered as she stepped out from behind one of the glass mirrors.
"He killed the person," Quinton pointed out.
"You guys were only supposed to survive the night," Chris said. "It would have been informed at the end right before announcing the losing team that whichever team took the most damage would go through elimination."
"So, this thing was supposed to hurt us?" Shion questioned him.
"YES," Chris snapped at him. "But because it is now dead and it's barely two in the morning, we can't have any more major drama happen except for the elimination. So, everyone let's get down to the elimination stage already."
Second Elimination Ceremony of the Season:
"Welcome to the second elimination of the season," Chris announced to the contestants. "Now, we were supposed to review the footage of what happened to everyone during the night but because the creature was destroyed, none of that stuff matters now and we will be destroying the tape."
There were a few sighs of relief from the contestants.
"But only one team is going to face elimination," Chris spoke. "And that team is the Celeste Procyon. Also, Rival and Laverne, did gallons of alcohol smash down on you guys?"
"Uh, pretty much," Rival spoke, rubbing the back of his head. "The thing threw the bottles and stuff."
"Okay, whatever. Go take showers once the elimination is done," Chris said. "So yeah, Celeste Procyon, go and vote the person that you want off the show."
"Uh where?" Capone asked confused. "Previous episode the judges picked out the loser."
"Oh right," Chris spoke as he pulled out a remote. Pressing a button, a magician's box rose up from the floor and everyone stared at it. "Here, is your official voting room that just got completed. A soundproof magician box, so no one on the outside can hear what you're saying unlike the other confessional rooms. This is the only place for you to actually do eliminations on the show. So, get voting. Serene Hadar, you guys just keep your butts seated."
Capone's Confessional Scene:
Capone was seen laughing, before he took in a breath and calmed himself down. "Oh man, Jacob is going to kill me. But not if I get rid of him first," Capone stated. "I literally shocked him! Then I shocked Chris! And you'd probably won't see it happening again. Anyways, Jacob is a total pain. Quinton was being a smart-mouth and needs to blab off. Chris never said that we couldn't split our votes between people, so they both get half a vote to be booted off by me!"
Buck's Confessional Scene:
"High voltage, hmm..." he pulled out a notebook from his boot and wrote something down in it. "Wonder if I can send this back to my friends to create electrified fruit?"
He looked up to see that he was still in the elimination confessional room. "Oh, voting... I guess, Chelsea. She's a real brat."
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
"Well, this episode was a mess. I have no idea if anyone is really going to understand it at all, I sure as heck won't." Sighing, she leaned back and tried to loosen up her hair, "But Chris is right. A shower is needed. Anyways, voting someone off, Chelsea. That girl is like Heather except she's a delusional, petty, narrow-"
Luna's Confessional Scene:
She was seen shuffling some tarot cards before looking up at the camera, "It's going to be Quinton. Dismissing stuff, even with the evidence being there right in front of you is a horrible move."
Moving the cards to one hand, she barely threw them into the air where they barely reached her eyes but none of them were falling back down. The cards were just floating there by her head.
"Mork seems to be of use..." Luna spoke in a low voice as a smirk came onto her face.
Mork's Confessional Scene:
"He was right there with everyone else and saw it all happen! That screech wasn't a human screech! Human's don't fry like that! We all pretty much know what the creature did to most of us. We lived it." His head dropped for a second as he took in a few deep breaths before looking back up at the camera, "Quinton. I'm sorry but you have got to go. I don't hate you, but I don't think you're going to be suited if we hit song episodes."
Quinton's Confessional Scene:
"I don't get it why these people couldn't see," he spoke as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Don't they understand that this was all fake? The whole thing? And they did it just for the show? It's the only reason why they would pull such a thing. And Mork, Shion, Buck, I think you three actually killed someone. So, I'm voting for at most... Mork. And you might want to get a lawyer to be safe."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"If I could vote off two people tonight, I would. I would vote off Capone and Quinton at once. Capone because he prank shocked me..." He grew silent for a few seconds, before shaking his head. "Actually you know what, I'll just go with Capone."
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"Well... this episode was... awkward. No one can get along still. We got put into a whole life or death scenario within two days of just being here. Everyone can tell who the royal b****es are here. That's obvious. But they can be good for the show... in some ways. But in all honesty, I don't think Quinton's packing the punch for this show."
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"Like what the heck? What kind of episode was this? They seriously made us run around and stuff, and we did not special to catch anyone's attention! This is singing competition and we've barely, just barely addressed that! Ugh!" There was a small clicking sound when she finished talking and her hands covered her mouth but continued to speak, "And I want Quinton gone."
Shion's Confessional Scene:
"I think that's a bad move calling out Shion like that and telling him to get a lawyer," Shion spoke as he pulled out the contract. "We're protected in case of threat of - anything that wishes to cause us harm or death. That thing, literally had that intention. This whole episode is just - weird. It somewhat makes sense, it also doesn't.
Quaoar's Confessional Scene:
He blinked for a second before leaning back against the wall. "Mork took out the competition... nicely done. Jacob seems to also be a challenge, he's worth staying. Quinton..." he just shook his head and stayed quiet for a few moments. "Bye."
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"Everyone here is a mess in some way. I wonder if there's going to be a therapy episode anytime soon? But anyways, Quinton is way up there of trying to be right with his theories, knowledge, what can and can't exist. Don't get me wrong or take me the wrong way, I'm not dismissing it or that sorts, what's really getting me is that he seems kind of one-sided to me. We literally just had a creature here, it got burnt by the highest setting on a toaster and still says it's not real? That's crazy there. I'm sorry Quinton, I'm sorry."
"Wow, a lot of different votes for different people," Chris laughed as the contestants stood there in front of him. "Including a half vote for two different people! But first let's bring out the updated classic favorite that everyone loves."
Chef walked out onto the stage with a plate of marshmallows in hand, some of the contestants staring at them as receiving them determined if you stay or not. Chef was seen wearing a dark green shirt, black dress pants and shoes, but he still wore his chef hat with the outfit
"I forgot to say this last time but," Chris started up, "If you are kicked off the show, you can't return to it. You are not allowed to guest star in any episode, unless you it is in the finale or Aftermath episode. No idea if there is an Aftermath episode or not."
Chris laughed a small bit while others raised an eyebrow at him, some believing that he was lying to them.
"Anyways, onto the vote! Chef throw the marshmallows!" Chris announced, pulling out a single index card. "Here are the people that are safe - Luna, Buck, Mag, Shion, Quaoar, Laverne and Vernon."
Chef threw the marshmallows at them, some almost failing to catch them.
"Now, then onto the least amount of votes," Chris spoke. "Jacob, this episode you received a half vote. So, you're safe. Mork and Capone, the two of you are tried in votes with just one vote each."
Mork sighed in relief, while Jacob had a look on triumph on his face that he was still in the game. Capone simply folded his arms over his chest after catching his marshmallow, knowing he was staying there for one more episode.
"Chelsea and Quinton, between the two of you only one of you got three votes while the other has the majority vote," Chris said.
Chris stared at the two quietly, making Quinton and Chelsea glance between each other as there was complete silence from everyone.
"The majority votes belongs to... Quinton," Chris spoke. Quinton blinked in surprise that everyone had voted him off.
"Is everyone here serious?" He questioned them all, glancing at them in the process. "I have the theories, I could work out the plans and details of what can possibly happen in an episode."
"It's what the votes say," Chris spoke as he held up a phone. "So, time to walk off the stage and go to the house of the losers. And let this be a lesson - don't underestimate the strangeness that is Total Drama."
Shaking his head, Quinton walked off the stage while everyone stared at Chris as Chef threw the marshmallow at Chelsea.
"Here are your sweet treats, now go back to your hotel rooms." Chris said as he saw everyone stand up and leave. Yawning, he turned towards the camera. "What will happen on the next episode? Will everyone recover their beauty sleep? What will and won't happen?"
"You just asked the same question, but just reworded," Chef spoke.
Chris gave him a blank stare before turning back to the camera. "Will Chef return to the vacation that he keeps coming and going from during the show? Will I be able to get some sleep finally? And will the next episode make actual sense? Find out next time on TDLV!"
Walking away, Chris called out to Chef, "Come on, the whole spa floor is open now at the main hotel. We can so use it to relax."
"Amen to that," Chef said as he followed after Chris. "Also, where did Sephiria get a creature like that?"
"You know, I rather not ask. This episode is going onto the list of weird episodes," Chris said as the camera's faded out.
