Okay, here are some replies to reviews:
Tempokeep (reviewed on fanfiction site):
- Thank you for the review! I'm glad that you are excited that the chapter finally came out. I'm making sure that with each episode there is a lot of stuff going on to keep the contestants, and readers, occupied/excited for what's to come. I like to make things a surprise, like Erin's elimination. Don't worry, this episode, the lesser-known characters will get some spotlight time. Charlize and Jacob - that's definitely going to be a lot of conflict! Wonder who's going to be gone first of the two? Lol…. Maybe neither will ever get rid of each other!
lordgemini (reviewed on fanfiction site):
- Mikata has a bit of an arc going on, it's going to be a while before it comes to an end. I liked doing that fight scene; a bored Bellona is not a happy Bellona. And yes, I know, we didn't get to see the videos that they made... perhaps we will see them later on when they come out in a mini-episode. And yes, both teams are in drama trouble now! Woohoo! And thank you for the review dude!
Episode 4 - Songs Under Fire
"In the last episode of LV," Chris spoke as he yawned a small bit as he walked towards the main hotel building. "We had our Halloween theme episode! Even though we were nowhere near the time of year for Halloween. But... to say say the least, I wasn't very impressed nor was I even creeped out enough. But we had a guest judge for the episode - Bellona. Heard she got into a fight with two people on Team Celeste Procyon."
A scene played back of Bellona jumping through the window, before it flicked to the scene of her punching Chelsea in the eye and getting into the fight with Quaoar.
He laughed a small bit before looking back at the camera, "But in the end, Erin and Quinn they got booted off, while Luna and Charlize were made to switch teams."
Entering the main hotel, the rain started to pour down outside. "Today, we get to sing! In duets! Which team will lose and send a two people home? Let's find out right here on Total Drama LV!"
Staring at the cameraman, he noticed that it immediately didn't go to the theme song.
"Hey? What gives?" Chris said, moments before the intro played.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine (A camera zooms in on Brett who is currently fixing another camera and he glances away for a second; at that moment Erin plugs something in and the camera explodes on them both).
You guys are on my mind. (Shion is seen reading over some music lyrics in a recording booth with Lloyd on the other side; Shion puts on the headphones as Lloyd plugs in a cord and he is instantly shocked, quickly Lloyd runs into the room to apologize to him).
You asked me what I wanted to be (Buck is seen fixing up a motorcycle and a spray of paint flies onto him as the camera pans out to see Quinn holding a can of spray paint; but Buck laughs it off).
And now I think the answer is plain to see, (V and Capone were seen tied back to back with wide smiles on their faces as Chef, angry and red in the face, slams a large pot before them).
I wanna be famous (Antoinette and Chelsea are seen on stage doing poses before Laverne shoved them aside and struts with a perfect smile on her face).
I wanna live close to the sun, (Mikata was seen meditating before being startled by Mork mixing his EDM music out loud nearby him).
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won. (Vernon is seen writing a song before Jacob pulls it from him to read the lyrics for approval, but Charlize snapped it out of his hands with a growl on her face).
Everything to prove nothing in my way, (Luna was seen at a computer, a smirk forming on her face as glowing green smoke formed around her).
I'll get there one day. (Vivian was seen practicing a gymnastic routine, but slipped on a towel that she left on the mat with an embarrassed look on her face).
Cause, I wanna be famous! (Shane was seen opening a box full of fireworks and quickly running off with them before a crew member caught him).
Na na na, na na na, (Yves was seen going behind a large screen as a light turned on, her shadow visible on the screen as she began dancing).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quinton was seen looking at a computer, typing in some numbers before it short circuits on him and he switches to pen and paper).
Na na na, na na na,(Rival is seen running after crying Erin down a long hallway but he blinks, sees that she wasn't there and slumps down a wall his hands covering his face).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quaoar was seen battling off some remote control fight robots with his swords and yawns as they were too easy for him until one comes out with chainsaw attached or its arms; grinning with anticipation for this fight).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous (Mag and Chris were seen arguing with each other and she roughly shoved him away, bolting out of the area with an angry look on her face while leaving him worried/frustrated).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! (Black and white cutouts of different creatures and people scroll on the screen of who was to appear on the season).
(Whistling in tune, the contestants are seen hanging out around a lounge pool area. Chef and Chris appear soon enough, but everyone is startled/fleeing/anticipating a fight by the exploding sounds of fireworks before a camera zooms in on a table top with TDLV carved onto it).
5:37 in the morning
"Ouch," Vivian spoke, biting down on her lip as she rubbed her right foot. She was still in her sleep clothes a light pink nightgown and her hair done in braids.
"Sorry," Brett said, staring at her. He was simply dressed blue sweatpants that had dark details on them and nothing else. The faint scar on his chest above his heart visible.
"It-It's okay," Vivian stuttered. "So where are we going?"
"Well... I figured we hit Mag's room," Brett said, looking at Lloyd, Vivian and Mikata. Mikata was simply dressed in blue shirt that had a black collar, dark blue jeans and black slippers while Lloyd was wearing a blue t-shirt and grey shorts.
"But Mag's on the opposite team," Lloyd said, his mouth falling open.
"I know... but she's like the only veteran on the show," Brett said. "Makes sense to get some pointers from her about the show."
"But you were on the camera crew right?" Vivian said; Brett nodding at her that she was right. "Aren't you a veteran too?"
"Hey, I observed, never played till now," Brett said.
"Attention to the people that I really, really love to hurt," Chris spoke, his voice floating through the hall. "Guess who got intercoms installed into the hotel hallways? This guy! Anyways... You have roughly until six o' clock to wake up, get dress and then get your butts to the indoor performance hall to hear about today's challenge. Chris out."
"Shoot," Vivian said, panic in her voice. "Charlize is going to freak when she see's I'm not there!"
"Maybe we can catch Mag sometime during the challenge or when Chris dismisses us from telling the details," Lloyd said.
"Y-Yeah," Mikata spoke, biting down on his lip.
The contestants were all groggy as they walked inside the main hotel to reach the performance hall. It was barely seven in the morning and they were told today that they were staying inside all day due to the incoming storm. They were all still pretty groggy that mere hours ago they had just completed episode 2 and now were doing episode 3.
Walking down the sloped pathway, they all heard Mikata let out a yelp and nearly everyone tumbled down.
"Jesus, Mikata," Charlize groaned as she pulled herself out of the pile of contestants. "Watch where you step."
"I'm-I-" Mikata started up as everyone else got up from the pile.
"I'm hearing excuses I don't want to hear," Charlize commented, snapping at him.
There were a few groans from the other contestants with a few mumbles telling her to just drop it.
"At least it woke us up, somewhat," Mag spoke, with Vivian nodding in agreement. At that point, they all heard music starting to play.
Walking out onto the stage, everyone saw Chris and Chef appear as lights flashed over them; with Chris holding a microphone.
"Hello LV contestants!" Chris happily sang out, "Today it's a singing challenge!"
"Fin-all-ly," Chelsea spoke, sitting herself down on a seat and smoothing out her clothes. "Been waiting for this. The first episode doesn't count."
"How is she still here?" Chris spoke looking at them with an annoyed face, "But never mind for now. This episode you are performing with duet's with your teammates. But, you guys will be given a song and have to turn at least twenty to thirty lyrics of said song into a parody song. Doesn't matter where you start the song or if you skip a section of the song, long as there is at least twenty to thirty lyrics. But there will only be four duets performing for each team, so eight for the whole episode. Each duet will be scored. All duet scores will be added together and then divided by two, that will be your final score. So, all duets equal twenty points, your final score is ten. Whichever team has the highest score, is the winning team. The losing team gets to vote off one person from their team!"
"Who do we get to sing with?" Yves asked, with a bored look on her face.
"You guys get to decide by spinning this wheel that has your photos on it!" Chris said. "Also, you may want to look closely at the photos, we got them from the previous three episodes of your worst faces."
"NO!" Antoinette, Vivian and Chelsea screamed out; some looking away or with smiles on their faces at seeing the ridiculous photos.
"Oh my god," Rival laughed, hitting an armrest repeatedly; he knew there had to be some really hideous photos to laugh at. "This is going to be fun."
"It's hard finding a ridiculous photo of Quaoar cause his face is so... serious... twenty-four-seven. But there are two catches here," Chris spoke. "First catch is that only four members of each team can come up and spin the wheel to get their partners. Whoever doesn't spin or isn't a chosen partner, doesn't get to sing instead they get to support you guys on working with your songs."
"And the second catch?" Rival asked.
"The losing team kicks off one person tonight," Chris answered. "You can vote off either a singer or a non-singer. But no matter what, everyone on the losing team is still at high risk of being eliminated where you cannot come back onto the show ever. So choose carefully when it comes to elimination tonight."
Yves's Confessional Scene:
"So, whoever messes up doesn't get another shot of making things right. Good."
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"A quicker way to get rid of the dead weight. But this gives my team a better chance at finding the weak links and getting rid of them."
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"If my song ends up being the worst, I'll shove my partner under the bus. The only person going home - not me."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"Will we be able to sing solo soon?"
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"Now, seeing their worst faces on photo is funny!"
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"I'm sure Mikata will be gone soon enough. Like, oh my god, tripping him and annoying the crap out of everyone was too easy!" She soon broke out laughing to herself.
Mark's Confessional Scene:
"The second catch really isn't a catch."
"So, who want's to come up first to spin the wheel with your hideous photos?" Chris spoke, gesturing to the wheel that was now being wheeled out by an intern (looking a bit worn out and not really secured on its stand). "Also note, the wheel is rigged so that when the person comes up here it only lands on someone of their team. So no mixing up the teams."
Everyone glanced at each other for a second, before Quaoar got up from his seat and walked up to the stage; behind him, the smile had dropped of Jacob's face as he had barely gotten up from his seat.
"Always best to lead," Chris spoke, giving him some applause. "Give it a good spin, cause I think it's stuck."
Narrowing his eyes at him, Quaoar gave it a good spin; making a couple of the photos fly off of it in the process. At least two hitting Chris in the process earning some laughs from the two teams.
After a few more moments of spinning, it landed on a contestant photo - Mag.
"You got paired with Mag, best of luck singing you two," Chris said; he just nodded his head and walked off the stage. "Okay, who's next?"
"I'll do it," Jacob said getting up on the stage; while an intern taped the photos backs on.
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"If anyone is going to lead this team, it's going to be me."
"I sense a power struggle," Chris laughed as Jacob spun the wheel. After a few seconds, it landed on Charlize's photo.
"Okay, you got Charlize," Chris said; Jacob's left eye giving off a slight, nearly unnoticeable twitch. "Next!"
Walking up to the stage, Vivian gave it a really good spin with one of the wheel pegs flying off and hitting her in the face as it landed on a photo.
"An injury and you got Lloyd as a partner," Chris said. "Best of luck to you with singing with the guy that made you cry in episode two. Next person up here!"
Yves stood up and walked up the stage, giving the wheel a hard spin. After a few moments, it finally stopped and showed that her partner was V.
"At least, I'm not stuck with a brat," Yves commented as she walked away. Antoinette was the next one to walk up before Chris could say anything and gave the wheel a spin, her partner - Luna.
"Oh my god, are you serious?" Antoinette said, her mouth falling open.
"You got the psychic girl, awesome," Chris said, pushing her off the stage. "Come on people, we're only half ways done with picking the duets."
Standing up, Brett walked up to the stage and gave it a light spin; Chris rolled his eyes at him while Brett just shrugged as the wheel landed on Mikata.
"Pathetic spin, but you have Mikata," Chris said. "Next person, step right on up. And this spin better be a good one."
Getting up onto the stage, Shion spun the wheel with a sly smile on his face. A few seconds later, it landed on Vernon's photo.
"Sweet, this is going to be fun," Shion said as he walked off the stage.
"Okay," Chris said, staring at him with an annoyed face. "Next up to spin."
Right before Laverne or Chelsea could move, Capone had already bolted up to the stage and gave the wheel a good spin with a lot of excitement.
"Okay, we don't need that much enthusiasm," Chris called out to him; at that point the wheel broke off from it's stand and wheeled itself off the stage and out the doors - leaving only a single photo behind as a good bye note.
"Well, that wheel is out," Capone laughed.
Picking up the photo, Chris looked down at it. "And you got Laverne. And we now have our chosen duets! And to those who don't get to sing in this episode... oh well. Not my problem."
"You mean I don't get to sing?" Chelsea yelled out. "This is ridiculous, I can do better than anyone else here!"
"Hey I don't get to sing either, so shut up," Rival called out to her.
"Mork and I don't either," Buck said, pointing over at Mork as Chelsea slumped further down on her seat with a scowl on her face.
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"Well, that's golden. If we lose, we can vote her off cause she helped the groups."
Rival's Confessional Scene:
"Man, this is going to be riding on me. If my team loses, there's a high chance I'm going home."
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"I hope Shion and I can agree on a good song..."
Mork's Confessional Scene:
"Since when can mounted wheel's runaway like this?"
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"I've seen other props runaway before... trust me, I have. Even Chris's hair gel hopped out of the door once."
At that moment, right behind his left shoulder was a bottle of Chris's hair; it stayed there for a few seconds before ducking behind his shoulder again.
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"Well, the bets need to be played carefully here. If I get the lowest score for my duet, then I'm probably gone. Unless... Hey! Someone owes me ten bucks cause we made a bet off camera on Chelsea not singing!"
"Now that we have our duets and the assistants for each team, let's go on to the songs," Chris said. "You guys, do not get to pick your songs. They've already been chosen for you. And these are the songs that you and your partner have to work with - you cannot request a song change and you cannot switch with another duo... Jesus, this whole instruction bit is getting long. I really need to talk to the script department to shorten this segment."
"I better get a good song to work with," Antoinette muttered.
"Oh shut it," V said to her, raising an eyebrow. "Your mood is souring this for all of us."
"Shut up. Both of you," Yves whispered under her breath.
"We-We'll do g-good right?" Mikata asked Brett, earning a head nod from him.
"We're going to rock this," Capone said, winking at Laverne.
"Hey, we better," Laverne said as she nudged Capone in the arm.
"We're going to do some awesome song writing work," Shion said; putting his arms around Chelsea and Mork, bringing them close.
"You're ruining my hair," Chelsea said to him.
"Okay," Mork said, while let out a yawn; clearly showing that he was still one of the few contestants who showed signs of falling back asleep.
"Our team winning this challenge is genuinely secured," Luna said.
"How do you know that?" Antoinette snapped at Luna. Luna simply stared at her with a distant look on her face but didn't say another word to Antoinette.
"Is everyone going to complain?" Mag asked, crossing her arms as she slouched down in her seat.
"I have no idea," Vernon said, looking around at everyone.
"All of you quiet!" Chef shouted at them, making everyone look at the stage where both Chris and Chef gave them annoyed looks.
"So, here are the songs that you have to work with," Chris said as an intern handed him a piece of paper. "For the duets of Team Serene Hadar - Antoinette and Luna you guys are singing the parody of "Fate" by Our Last Night, Yves and V you guys will parody "Candyman" aka "Lollipop" by Aqua, Brett and Mikata will do the parody of Going Down in Flames by Hidell, and Vivian and Lloyd you guys will parody "Finale: There's Always A Tomorrow" from the musical "Dracula."
Everyone kind of muttered a small bit about not picking the songs and some seemed to be a bit discouraged that the songs were kind of not their style.
"Hold your comments till later, got to get through Team Celeste Procyon song's," Chris said to them in an annoyed voice. "Okay, Jacob and Charlize you guys get to parody Partners in Crime by Set It Off, Kan Du Ge Fig Fan Fa by Nanne Gronvall... I don't think I said that right... will be parodied by Quaoar and Mag, Laverne and Capone you two get to parody Atemlos durch... die Nacht by Helene Fischer, and finally the song "Satisfied" from the musical Hamilton will be parodied by Vernon and Shion."
"Uh, two of those songs sounded as though they were in a different language," Vernon commented.
"Both teams have a song in a different language," Chris said to him. "The English translation will be provided to you guys, and no you do not have to sing those in the original language. The songs will be sent you guys. Now, print out the lyrics, start making a parody and get to work on everything else. You have until... six o'clock tonight to finish and it's barely seven in the morning now."
Before they could leave, Chef tossed the duets their songs at their faces.
"Oh, another thing," Chris said as he started to walk off the stage. "We will be performing here tonight and you will be heavily judged by the judges from episode one on how well you come up with a parody and perform said parody, so good luck. See you at six!"
Laughing, Chris left the area laughing while leaving the two teams with more or less disbelief looks on the faces.
Chef rolled their eyes and stared at the contestants, "Best to work in one of your hotel rooms. Don't care who's room, just get the work done."
Duet - Capone and Laverne (with some Chelsea):
"It's so unfair that I don't get to sing," Chelsea whined, hugging Capone's arm. "My agent says that I'm really good too. Think Chris can make us be partners? He never said that we couldn't switch."
"Your desperate look is cute," Capone spoke, a teasing tone in his voice. "He just might."
"But," Laverne said, shoving herself between Chelsea and Capone, "He has his reasons for partnering us like this. Why work with all beauty when you can have some brain and brawn as well?"
Capone just looked at the two of them who were giving him pleading looks.
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"So... does this mean the girls are into me this season?"
"Well... I don't think Chris wants us to do a partner change," Capone spoke.
"Plus, he did say those who didn't spin or aren't a chosen partner, don't get to sing," Laverne spoke, with a devious look on her face. "Sorry Chelsea, maybe next time. But hey, you can help us with our song."
"Sorry about you not singing," Capone spoke, crossing his fingers behind his back without either of the two knowing. "But why don't we get started?"
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
"Okay, I know that was superficial of me, but - no way am I letting her take my place. It was all decided, she needs to understand that."
"I think, we should do some dancing in our song," Laverne spoke, her eyes looked over at Capone who was currently upside down on a couch, staring at the lyrics on his phone. It had been five minutes after the challenge started and they managed to secure the lounge floor of the mini-hotel.
"Should we do that?" Capone asked her.
"It will show the judges that we're not just going to stand there and sing," Laverne spoke. "I mean, think of it. If we are the sixth group to perform, we'll appear... boring."
"But it's sports I'm more into than dancing," Capone told her.
"We can combine the two together," Laverne said.
"Like you're any good," Chelsea spoke, tapping away on her phone. Twitching a small bit, Laverne lobbed her shoes off and did a grand jeté over the coffee table and landing perfectly on her feet. In a quick movement, a vase on the coffee table had been broken in half.
"What the-" Chelsea started up, before being interrupted by Laverne.
"I have done ballet and training in other dances for years," Laverne told her. "So, don't say I'm not any good. Now, are you going to help us sing or not? Because you do know, you're on the elimination block too, right?"
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"I wonder how easily I can convince the others to get rid of her... but, she might be a bit more useful if I can get her under my thumb. If she doesn't prove to be useful in the next episode, I'll get rid of her. For sure. This is my life here, I'm the focus. Not her."
Duet - Vivian and Lloyd
"So... some lyric lines overlap each other... is that entirely just one lyric or does it count as two?" Vivian asked, staring down at the lyric sheet in her hands.
"I seriously have no idea," Lloyd said as he read the lyrics; the two were in his room that he shared with Yves, sitting on opposite couches. "It's kind of confusing."
"Well... do we want to... I dunno... start somewhere random?" Vivian spoke, not even looking up from the lyrics at all.
"He did say that we can sing at any random point, but keeping it in the 20 to 30 lyrics line range," Lloyd said, a smile forming on his face as he looked up at her. "Kicking it up from a random part would be good for us."
Vivian nodded her head at him, not bothering once to look up at him.
"Hey? Are... we good?" Lloyd asked her.
"What? Is someone saying I'm not?" Vivian asked, panicking. "Who would say I'm bad?"
"What? NO!" Lloyd spoke. "I just meant... are we okay with each other? Like... no bad intentions or negativity towards each other?"
"O-oh..." Vivian spoke, curling up on the couch, bringing her knees close to her. "Umm... I-I... maybe? I-I don't know."
Lloyd stared at her as she did her best to pull herself together.
"Anyways... we-we need to get back to our song," Vivian said, straightening out her skirt. "Can we get back to writing?"
"Yeah, sure," Lloyd said as he glanced down at the lyrics. "I was also kind of thinking..."
Lloyd's Confessional Scene:
"Crap. I think I really messed up with her. I don't think she's over my comment about scars being hot from Episode 2. But hey! Scars can make people look hotter. Am I right?"
Vivian's Confessional Scene:
"Oh god... Am I messing up?" She whimpered a small bit and tugged at her hair, before she pinched herself on her arm. "You're on camera, Vivian! You can do better than this. Just smile and make it through the day, right?"
Duet - Yves and V
"Well, crap," V spoke, turning around in the computer chair to face Yves. The two had decided to write their song in V's room, especially since they knew no one would interrupt them here. "I think we're stuck."
"We aren't stuck," Yves spoke, as she scribbled away on a pad of paper. "If you think like that, then you are. So don't think like that."
"What do you suggest we do?" V asked.
"You're at the computer, look up words that rhymes with whatever," Yves spoke, not even looking up from the paper and with a cold tone.
"Don't you ever show any emotion?" V snapped at her. "Like, b****, you're cold."
Yves barely glanced over at her, before looking back at the paper without giving her a reply.
"And you remind me of Negasonic Teenage Warhead," V said, turning to face the computer and begin typing.
"Call me what you want, it's just words," Yves told her, falling back into silence.
"Do you have a problem or something?" V asked, turning around on the computer chair and folding her arms. "Because if you want, we can take this fight outside."
"I'm not continuing this argument. Can we just focus on this?" Yves spoke, shaking the lyric sheet at V; rolling her eyes, V turned her attention back to the computer screen to find words that would best rhyme with some of the words.
To both, this might be a long day for them and they both knew they were on the line if they don't do well when it comes to performing before the judges.
V's Confessional Scene:
"Well, she's definitely cold, I don't think there will be much trust between her and everyone else on Team Hadar. And that includes me."
Vernon and Shion (and some Buck, plus a splash of Luna)
Vernon and Shion had settled themselves down in the main hotel lounge (they both kind of figured the mini hotel would probably be crowded, while they also get to avoid Charlize in the process), printing their lyrics out from the front desk computer.
"We got a really fun song," Shion spoke as he looked over the original lyrics to "Satisfied". "If we do it right, no one is going to resist us tonight."
"Uh-what?" Vernon spoke, tilting his head at him with a confused look on his face.
"Shoot, nothing, dude. It's a figure of speech," Shion told him, patting his shoulder.
"Oh... unforgettable," Vernon said, seeing what he meant but still seemed a bit unsure.
"Yeah dude, we'll be unforgettable tonight," Shion spoke, throwing a wink at him.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"I hope I'm understanding the meaning behind that," he spoke, rubbing the back of his head with a confused look on his face.
Shion's Confessional Scene:
"Does no one know how to flirt here?" He rubbed the back of his head for a second before his eyes lit up a bit. "Second thought... I heard Rival is a bit of a flirt."
"What you boys talking about here?" Buck asked as he sat down on one of the bar chairs to a bar table that was near the front desk
"We're going to be an epic team," Shion spoke, pulling Vernon close.
"Yeah, epic," Vernon spoke, nervously.
"Ain't need to be nervous, you sing fine," Buck told Vernon. "Now come on, buck up and give us some more courage."
"Did you do an inside joke?" Vernon asked.
"Hey, I say he did fine with that," Shion spoke in a smooth voice, throwing a wink in the process.
Vernon was unsure what to say to Shion, but Buck managed to break the silence.
"Mind if I look at your song?" Buck asked them.
"Yeah, absolutely!" Vernon spoke, jumping at the chance while also jumping over the front desk with the lyrics in his hands. The heel of his foot landed on the edge of a carpet first, causing him and the carpet to slid and hit the ground with a hard thud.
"You need help there partner?" Buck asked, extending a hand to Vernon.
"T-Thanks," Vernon spoke as he grasped Buck's hand.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"Who puts a rug that can easily slide in front of the front desk?"
Luna's Confessional Scene:
"I was hoping someone would fall for it today. Capone found it the other day in the storage closet when he accidentally slipped on it and decided to use it for a prank. Turns out it's... made to slip."
At that point, she held up a very thin backing that had originally been made to stop the rug from actually sliding.
Buck's Confessional Scene:
"Ya know, they ought to nail these kinds of things down, less hassle for everyone. Well... Got some work to do."
From his left boot, he pulled out a small plastic container that had a small hammer in it and a bunch of thin construction nails.
Duet - Brett and Mikata
Mikata's hands were shaking as he wrote down lyrics to his and Brett's song on pieces of blank paper. He constantly glanced up to see to simply see him still concentrating on the lyrics, humming the original song out loud.
"A-any-th-thing?" Mikata stuttered.
"You can relax," Brett told him. "It's barely past ten-forty-five."
"B-But we ne-need to be good," he told him.
"But we won't also be horrible," Brett said. "This is a first for everyone and won't be the last we do a parody or make our own parodies. I mean production has to do parodies to avoid copyright issues."
Looking at the camera watching them, it nodded up and down in response.
"B-But it needs t-to appease Charlize, the jud-," he stuttered.
"Okay, I'm stopping that thought right there," Brett told him. "Forget everyone else, focus on making it awesome for yourself."
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"Oh man, I know she is on the other team but she is working everyone up. But you know… if someone gets her attention fully onto Jacob then she can get off everyone's backs. I'm going to need help on that."
Looking down, he picked up a small gold coin that had the Luxor (the pyramid on Las Vegas strip) on both sides of it.
"I think this is something worth keeping," he muttered and shoved it into his pocket.
Mikata had slumped down on a chair, legs almost pulled up against him as he stared at the lyric sheets. At that point, Brett snapped his fingers; the sound of his finger snapping caused Mikata to jump a little.
"Let's find Vivian and Lloyd, and go see Mag," Brett stated.
"B-But Qu-Quaoar," Mikata told him.
"Hey, he should be cool if we just borrow her for a couple minutes. Besides, he might be interested in a good game plan," Brett said as he stood up, folded up the papers and shoved them in his pocket. "Let's go!"
Scrambling off the chair, Mikata followed after Brett.
Duet - Jacob and Charlize
"We start with the beginning of the song," Charlize said as she sat down at one of the tables in the mini-hotel that they were staying at. On the other side of the room was Capone and Laverne, their voices in hush whispers so that Charlize and Jacob wouldn't hear what lyrics they were coming up with. She shuffled the papers that had the song lyrics and grabbed a pen from a nearby cupholder.
"Why not start at a different-" Jacob started to suggest to her.
"No! We start with the beginning. Then we can flow into the rest of the song," Charlize said, snapping at him. "God! Why would anyone start at some random part in the song? Starting up at some random line puts others into a confusion because you could be leaving out an important part or clue if you start up randomly."
"Other duets might be doing it," Jacob argued back. "They could have climatic, powerful parts that they probably feel would be better to use that section to get more points with the judges."
"Well, why don't we look at their songs and see," Charlize spoke, getting up from one of the tables and walked off to the elevator.
"If we do that, then we'll waste time on coming up with our song parody," Jacob stated, making Charlize stop mid-step.
"Fine, then we'll just ask a couple of the duets on our team," Charlize spoke.
"You know we got two teammates right here," Jacob spoke, pointing towards the now almost empty couches of the lounge. Looking behind him, he could see the two of them quickly dashing out of the mini-hotel; in the process leaving behind Chelsea.
"Well, I don't see anyone here now," Charlize spoke.
Taking in a deep breath, he quickly dashed past her and pressed the button for the elevator to open up. "Ladies first."
Charlize walked past him into the elevator, giving him a cautious glare.
"The song, we stick to the theme," Charlize said.
"I'm fine with that," Jacob told her, tapping his foot in a rhythm to one of the band songs that he use to rehearse.
"Can you stop that? That tapping is annoying," Charlize snapped at him.
Raising an eyebrow, he just gave her a smile and stopped the tapping. "Why don't we start writing some lyrics down and do a comparison? See, which lyrics works best for our song?"
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"Of all people on my team, I'm partnered with her," he spoke, letting out a sigh. "BUT... if I make myself more "useful" to her, then she'll see I'm worth being an equal to her. I guess we got one thing in common... being at the top."
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"I do not like Jacob. But if he doesn't mess our song up and we get a good score, I'll allow him to stay."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"But... I can also knock her down in the process. Being "useful" to her will be her downfall."
"I recommend we check in on Quaoar and Shion," Charlize commented. "With how they are, I expect some success from them besides us. I am unsure about everyone else."
"But what about those who are not so good?" Jacob questioned her, as he fiddled around with a couple of words. "What if they need advice or something?"
Looking at her, Jacob could easily see that he hit a nerve with her as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
Duet - Quaoar and Mag
There was quiet between the two of them as they worked on their lyrics in Charlize's and Vivian's room. A place that was enough to work in, but also a place where Charlize can easily burst in at any given moment.
Of course, Vivian was far from their minds as she was more than likely to knock and not be on their nerves.
"One fall, won't end the way, of the emotion in my heart," Mag sang out, twirling a pencil between her finger tips. She was lying across the couch, not even caring if dirt got on the fabric at all. "Does that sound good to you?"
"Yeah," Quaoar spoke, reading over the parody lyrics that were already written down on his copy of the original lyrics.
"Do we want to keep the curse word in the song?" Mag asked him, earning a glance that told her he could careless if the curse words stayed in the song or not.
"This section, are you covering or am I?" Quaoar asked, pointing to a section.
"That part, we can split that," Mag answered. "Last line, we can... basically both say it, end the song together."
He nodded his head as she swung her feet off the couch, moments before Charlize came marching into the room.
"So much for getting any work done now," Mag spoke, letting out a deep sigh as she stood up on her feet.
"I want to see your work, right now," Charlize snapped.
Getting up from the computer chair, he gripped the papers in his right hand and walked out of the room without so much changing the stone-cold expression on his face.
"I blame you," Mag said to her as she followed after Quaoar.
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"God, don't people understand knocking these days? I thought she was a "business-lady"? Shouldn't she have manners?"
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"Does no one understand the process of reviewing over the work?"
Quaoar's Confessional Scene:
"Well... she's not going to be a... "fan favorite" here."
Duet - Antoinette and Luna
"Oh my god," Antoinette spoke. "We couldn't have gotten a better song?"
"Our performance will be impressive," Luna said, staring at Antoinette with a very distant look on her face.
"Oh my god! Can you stop staring like that?" Antoinette complained; the two had taken up one of the open bedrooms, unsure of who it belonged too exactly. Luna simply raised an eyebrow at her before turning her head towards the door.
"Oh my god. No one is-" Antoinette spoke, before there was a knocking, "-there."
"Come in," Luna spoke and the door swung open.
"I heard ladies arguing and figured... seriously?" Rival spoke as he stepped into the room.
"Oh my god. My roommate? Are you kidding me?" Antoinette said, grabbing one of the bed pillows and shoving it onto her face as she fell backwards onto the bed.
"Well, do any of you ladies need assistance?" Rival asked, smiling more so at Luna than Antoinette. "Because I can certainly whip up some real good lyrics that can knock the ones you've made out of the room."
Behind his back, Antoinette had quickly sat up and threw the pillow to the side. Towards Luna she made a gagging motion and quickly shook her hand at her throat that practically told Luna not to agree.
"I don't see why not," Luna spoke. "Turning down someone freely offering assistance can be... unappreciative. A very horrible trait."
"Well, let's see what your troubles with the song are," Rival spoke, sitting down next to Luna with a smile on his face while Antoinette's mouth fell open.
"Hey Antoinette," Rival spoke. "You'll catch a fly like that."
Luna let out a snort that could have been a laugh and Rival's smile got a bit bigger.
Rival's Confessional Scene:
"I wonder if I can be partnered with Luna next time? She is a whole lot better than Antoinette."
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"Oh my god? What the heck is going on?"
Luna's Confessional Scene:
"Someone is craving attention now that Erin is gone. I guess... I can give him some attention. Until I decide he's done."
"We don't need your help Rival. Yeah, our song is not up to par with our standards, but we don't need assistance," Antoinette said.
"I can handle it for you ladies," Rival said to her; a smirk growing on his face.
"Nope. Out. Good Bye." She said, grabbing his shirt collar to pull him off the bed. At that point, the door swung open and the three of them saw Quaoar and Mag walking in.
"What. Are. You. Doing?" Quaoar spoke, as a sudden chill falling over the room.
"Kicking him out," Antoinette snapped at him. "Why are you here?"
"It's his room," Mag pointed out, pointing her thumb at Quaoar.
"We better leave," Luna spoke, as she got off the bed she was on and walked out of the room. From the corner of her eye, she caught Quaoar's cold gaze looking down at her - a hidden message that she needed to be careful.
"So, are you two going to stay like that or make out?" Mag asked, leaning against the wall by the door.
Looking at Riva, he had a smirk on her face and Antoinette could feel the color draining from her face.
"OH MY GOD! KISS HIM? NO!" Antoinette shouted, recoiling away from him and quickly walking out of the room, shoving Mag to the side in the process.
At that Rival broke out laughing, as he got off the bed and left the room.
"Well, that got them to leave," Mag noted. "And Antoinette got tortured in the process."
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"OH. MY. GOD. I would-NEVER! Not with him! No way! OH MY GOD NO!"
Rival's Confessional Scene:
"Meh. Not my type. But now she's going to be sleeping with one eye open for a while!"
Duet - Brett and Mikata
"Are oth-other teams d-doing better?" Mikata asked, looking at Brett's lryics.
"To be honest, no idea," Brett said, before pointing to Mikata's papers. "But I do like that line, pretty good."
"Th-Thanks," Mikata said, a small smile on his face.
"Okay, first thing first - we relax," Brett said to him.
"Relax?"
"Yeah, us crew members are always relaxed, right guys?" Brett called out, looking at the camera that was following them. Both Mikata and Brett could see the camera nodding up and down. "We're the only people Chris doesn't hurt because, one - he can get fired if he does, two - we always get his good side. So, we relax."
"Ok-okay," Mikata said, taking in a deep breath and letting it out.
"But stay alert," Brett said, stopping Mikata short just as Chef slammed a door open and walked down the hallway. "Like I said."
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
He was seen with a notebook, writing down a few notes.
"He-He's been on the crew... So this is all good."
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"He's really good at getting this stuff down. I say by next episode, he'll be okay on his own... Maybe episode six."
Chef's Confessional Scene:
"I smell fear," Chef stated, smelling the air before letting out a laugh. "And it's going to get worse."
Mikata was looking down at his phone for a few mere seconds, before glancing up and barely jumped out of the way. At that moment, Brett got completely soaked by a large jet of water; some water hitting Mikata as well.
"Crap," Brett said, as he saw Chef standing there with the firehose in his hands.
"Good luck winning maggots," Chef laughed as he put the hose down and walked away. Looking at the papers in their hands, they say their lyrics were drenched.
"Man, he got us," Brett stated.
Holding up his phone, Mikata showed him the photo he had taken of the lyrics.
"Or not," Brett laughed.
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"Definitely a fast learner. That's good."
Duet - Yves and V
"No, these aren't working," Yves muttered under her breath as she scratched out a line of lyrics and began rewriting it once more.
"Girl, chill," V said, picking up a piece of paper that Yves had already thrown away. "Why not look at the old drafts, pick out what's good and put it all together? If a word doesn't work, we'll put something else in it's place."
"Will any work?"
"Won't know unless we don't try," V commented.
There was a knock on the door and the two saw Brett stick his head in and stare at the two.
"Know where Vivian and Lloyd are?"
"No," Yves stated.
"Cool, thanks," Brett said as he pulled his head out of the room and closed the door.
"I thought Rival was supposed to help us with writing?" V commented.
"Not my problem," Yves said. "We lose, Rival goes."
"Good idea," V said as she looked started to look over the previous papers once more, circling parts that worked for their song. "I think we got a few good lyric lines here."
Leaning over, Yves read the lines she had rewritten onto a blank piece of paper and nodded her head in agreement.
"Alright, let's work off of those lyrics," Yves said.
Yves Confessional Scene:
"Now she's mentioned it... Where is Rival?"
V's Confessional Scene:
"We are finally get some work done! YES! But where the f*** is Rival?"
Duet - Vivian and Lloyd
"Okay, let's try that line again," Lloyd said, looking up from the lyrics.
"Dang it!" Vivian said, shoving a pillow onto her face.
"Hey calm down," Lloyd said, gently punching her arm. "No need to treat the pillow as a face mask. We just need some more practice. So, let's take it from the top one more time."
Pulling her head out of the pillow, she nodded her head at him and started off the song.
"Come on, throw some passion in, our song to parody is from a musical," Lloyd said.
Nodding her head, the two went over the song one more time.
Lloyd's Confessional Scene:
"I say we're pretty good where we're at, but definitely need to work some more.
"Can we change this lyric line?" Vivian asked, pointing the pencil tip to a line, "I don't think it quite works."
"Oh, yeah, we can definitely do that," Lloyd said, grabbing his own pencil and changing a couple of words in the lyrics. "Does that work?"
"Yeah, that sounds a bit better," Vivian answered him as they heard a knock on the door.
"Hey, there you guys are," Brett spoke, as he poked his head in the room that Vivian and Lloyd were inside.
"Hey Brett, what's up?" Lloyd spoke, giving him bit of a wave.
"Figured, Mikata and I find you guys and go find Mag," Brett told him, as Mikata walked into the room.
"Go now?" Vivian asked.
"Why not?" Lloyd said, "Better now than never."
"If she can help us win, then let's go!" Vivian happily said, jumping off the bed.
Vivian's Confessional Scene:
"Maybe she can help me with ending up less injured as well?"
Duet - Antoinette and Luna
"I say that is a good lyric line," Luna spoke, smiling at Rival.
"Hey, I do my best." He answered her.
"Oh my god," Antoinette muttered under her breath as they walked around the mini-hotel. "Luna, you know it's supposed to mainly be you and me writing this, right? So, Rival, why don't you go and, oh I don't know... sit on the back burner."
"No way, I'm going to help you girls write a good song and ace this competition," Rival told her.
Luna's Confessional Scene:
"At least he's determined to help us win."
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"I wonder if we can pass him off to someone else."
"You know Rival, there is more than one team singing here," Antoinette said to him. "Like, if you focus on us too much, you could be blamed for letting the other teams fail. So, why don't you find another duet to help?"
Rival gave her an annoyed face, which Antoinette gave him one in return.
"If we do need anymore help," Luna commented. "We'll just steal Chris's megaphone so we can call you."
"I want to see that happen," Rival laughed. "Oh! Make sure to do it with Chris standing right in front of you."
"Deal," Luna said, smiling at him with her hands behind her back.
"See you girls later," Rival said, walking off to find another duet group.
"Oh my god! He is gone," Antoinette said, slumping onto a window seat. "Oh my god, why did you keep him around for so long? He is annoying."
"We all need people to side with us," Luna said, continuing to walk away. "If we don't, then how long will you really stay in the game?"
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"Are you kidding me? Is she trying to form an alliance with Rival?"
Luna's Confessional Scene:
"Step one - get on people's good sides. Step two - side with each other... until you backstab them."
Duet - Laverne and Capone
Capone had thrown the ball as Laverne had told him, just as she flipped backwards and caught it with her feet; resting the upper half of her body on the floor.
"Five points!" Capone shouted, as Laverne dropped the ball from her feet and into her hands, a smile on her face.
"We need to a do a lot more than this," Laverne said. "Got any other tricks?"
"Can try... golf balls?" Capone asked.
"Too hard and to easy to lose," Laverne spoke. "Plus, we also need to focus on some dancing."
"Crap, we almost forgot about our lyrics," Capone said, slapping his forehead. "And we only have a couple of hours left before we have to go sing."
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
"Wow, we both messed up here."
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"We can blame either Chelsea since she's not here to help us or... blame Charlize for not keeping us on track. Two good options. Bet I can get Laverne on my side to help me get rid of someone. Then I can get rid of her."
"So... I was thinking... if we get a low score and our team loses, can we, oh I don't know... vote of either Charlize or Chelsea?" Capone spoke, tossing a baseball in his hand.
"Charlize or Chelsea?" Laverne laughed.
"Problem?"
"Dude, I've been set on Chelsea since this episode started. She needs to fall down a peg," Laverne laughed.
"So, are we eliminating the same person or two completely different people?" Capone asked her.
"I'll go after one, you go after the other. Make them both... feel unsafe," Laverne commented.
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"Two birds, one baseball. Fired from a tennis ball cannon."
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
"This will surely hurt her ego. And possibly snap make her realize, she's not the center as she thinks she is.
Duet - Quaoar and Mag (with an appearance of Mork)
"I think that should do it," Mag spoke out, reading over the lyrics again. "Now, we just need to rehearse to make sure that it's all good."
"Where are the writers?" Quaoar asked just as Mork came into the room and slammed the door behind him, hitting the lock button.
"Mork?" Mag questioned, a confused look on her face, while Quaoar just barely raised an eyebrow.
"Charlize." He said, slumping down to the floor.
"Not another word," Quaoar said, as he looked back down at the lyrics while Mork gave him a thumbs up.
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"What the heck is Charlize doing now?"
"And Chelsea too," Mork stated, earning looks from the both of them.
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"Did the two of them actually team up? I know one thing though, Charlize is the lesser of the two evils."
"Hey, off-topic from your dilemma, do you want to review our lyrics?" Mag asked Mork.
"Oh, yeah, sure," Mork said, getting up the floor and accepted the papers Mag was handed over to him.
Reading over the lyrics a small smile came onto Mork's face.
"These are pretty good lyrics, but...", grabbing a red pen, he scribbled out a few words and replaced them with different words. "These words should definitely work with them now."
Grabbing the papers, Quaoar looked over them and nodded his head in approval.
"Have you worked with anyone else on our team?" Mag asked.
"I know Buck helped out Vernon and Shion," Mork said. "And Chelsea followed Laverne and Capone..."
"Hopefully, our team has some sort of chance of winning," Mag commented.
"Can I hear you umm rehearse together?" Mork asked. "You know... sound check?"
"Might as well," Quaoar stated.
Duet - Vernon and Shion
"Heck you know what would be better?" Shion spoke.
"What?" Vernon asked him.
"Literal music paper," Shion spoke. "Then we can write out the notes and practice out our vocals. We can also figure out which system we can use as well."
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"There are different systems to use when doing music. For classical, it's staves and noteheads but when it's country that's when the Nashville Number system comes into play. Then you also have the 12-tone scale... so, yeah. Music paper can help us out... I said too much."
"I-I think there's some in the desks," Vernon spoke, walking over to the desk and opening the drawers, searching through them.
"Anything?" Shion spoke as he walked over.
"There's none here," Vernon said. "But I saw some in my room. Some had music examples on them."
"Well, go ahead and grab them," Shion spoke, patting him on the back with a large smile on his face. "Those can definitely help us out! There's no way we'll lose tonight."
"C-Cool," Vernon said, walking out of the room quickly to grab the papers while Shion hung back. Entering the room, he rummaged through the desk until he found the papers.
"Glad no one else decided to grab these," he spoke under his breath as he dashed back to where Shion was; not realizing that Antoinette and Luna had plopped themselves onto a bed to work on their song. Running back into the hotel, he slammed the music paper on the table next to Shion who had been scribbling down lyrics in a notepad.
"Sweet," Shion spoke, a smile breaking on his face. "Now, we can get our pitches right."
"Yeah," Vernon spoke, nodding in agreement. "What have you come up with so far?"
"Some pretty good lines," Shion told him. "Got bit of flirting in as well. You know, theme?"
"Can I see them?" Vernon asked.
"Yeah, no problem," Shion said, sliding them over to him.
Reading over them, Vernon glanced over at Shion.
"Be okay if I rework a couple of lines?"
"Dude, go ahead, it's our song," Shion laughed.
Duet - Charlize and Jacob
Jacob had walked out of the room that he and Charlize had been working in, convincing her that a quick break to get some food or water to refresh themselves would help them out as it was common knowledge that if you want someone up to 100 percent, they had to take a break. All she said was "fine" before getting up and leaving the room herself. Turning around a corner, he pumped into Lloyd; the two falling to the ground and papers scattering on the ground.
"Ow," Vernon said, rubbing his left shoulder as it had hit the wall.
"Can you watch it?" Jacob spoke, annoyance in his voice.
"S-sorry," Vernon muttered, getting up from the ground.
Looking around at the ground, Jacob picked up a sheet of paper and saw that they were lyrics to a song that had no title to it yet. Grabbing another piece of paper, it was some more song lyrics with some words scribbled out. At that point, Vernon was rushing about, gathering the papers before Jacob could see anything more.
"Don't! None of these are any good!" Vernon spoke, panicked.
"What the heck man? Hiding a talent from us?" Jacob said as he got up. "This sounds way better than what Charlize is coming up with. It's impressive."
"Don't tell the others!" Vernon said. "But, uh... thanks for the... compliment."
Jacob placed an arm over his shoulder, a smile on his face. "Dude, if a talent like this got out, everyone will see you as a threat whenever we have to write song parodies. But, let's do a little deal, okay?"
"Uh... what kind of deal?" Vernon spoke, unsure if he should agree.
"Simple. I keep this away from everyone else, you just help me writing songs okay?" Jacob said. "Plus, I can give you some protection and help push you to the finale. So... deal?"
Jacob held out his hand to Vernon, with Vernon glancing around a few seconds before quickly shaking it.
"So, can I see your lyrics?" Vernon said and Jacob showed them to him.
"We're sticking to theme of the song," Jacob told him. Reading over them, Vernon pulled a pen out of his pocket and marked a few lyrics down.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"I really hope he doesn't tell... but he did say he push me to the final, so that's good, right?"
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"I don't see much of a problem with Vernon. Long as he doesn't drag me down in the process, I'll drag him up the ranks with me until I feel like he's not useful to me anymore. But with his song writing... he might make to the finale. Which could be trouble for me."
"What in the world are you doing?" Charlize snapped, marching down the hallway towards the two. Luckily for the two of them, they had already switched their lyrics sheets back to who originally had what.
"Asking about lyrics," Jacob spoke.
"Let me see," Charlize snapped at him, snatching the lyrics from Jacob and looking over them. "These are... decent."
"Thank you," Jacob spoke, giving Vernon a slight nod that he wasn't going to tell her.
Before the contestants knew it, they heard a loud trumpeting sound and Chris's voice coming out of the intercoms.
"Attention all contestants, attention all contestants." Chris spoke, "It is time to sing. Please head to the indoor theater to give your performance of the night. Make sure it's your best, cause someone gets to be sent home and all others will know exactly for the rest of your time how horrible you are!"
"Is there any way to mute him?" Chelsea snapped, staring up at an intercom.
"It's Chris, there's no way," Buck spoke.
"A lot of help you are," Chelsea spoke to him, a small grunting sound coming from her voice.
"Girl, you might want that looked at," Buck spoke, as members of their team slowly came down one by one.
"SHUT UP J****SS!" Chelsea snapped, her head jerking a small bit.
"Did she just curse?" Rival spoke, amused at the scene before him. "Would the little lady like me to do the arguing for you?"
"Go away," Chelsea said, quickly leaving the hotel for the indoor performance stage.
"Sh-She knows w-we're all going to be in-in the same pl-place right?" Mikata stuttered out.
"She better," Charlize commented. "Let's go, we wasted time because of her little tantrum."
Brett was quick to grab Mag by her shirt sleeve, causing her to whip around and almost smack her fist into him.
"Shoot Brett, don't do that," Mag spoke with a shaky laugh. "Could have really knocked you out."
"Yeah, like how you broke that brick last season," Brett commented. "Sorry, but hey... can we meet after the challenge is over?"
"Why?" She asked, as Vivian, Lloyd and Mikata kind of hung back from the rest of the group; but Brett motioned all of them to keep walking.
"Well... you're the veteran on the show, so you do have a good chance of surviving," Brett told her.
"So?"
"And I'd figured... you'd be the best person for pointers?" Brett said, rather uneasily.
"If I don't get eliminated, then we'll talk," Mag said, walking past all of them.
"So... was that a yes?" Vivian asked Brett.
"Alright! " Chris shouted as he stood on the center of the stage. "Forgot to tell you guys, cursing is allowed for the songs. Anyways, we got eight songs. Sixteen contestants performing. And only one team gets to be the losers and send someone home! Let's get this show on the role!"
Behind him, a screen rolled down from the stage ceiling with different colored tiles appearing on it.
"And like episode one, you stay up there while we give you judgment," Danica spoke, looking back at the contestants before motioning to Chris to continue.
"Csilla," Chris said as the camera panned over to the judges sitting in the front row. "You have the clicker. Just hit the button as a different colored square lights up."
"You make it sound as though I don't know how this works," Csilla said, narrowing her eyes at him.
"Just hit the button already so we can get the first duet up here," Chris said, annoyed.
Rolling her eyes, each tile lit up with different colors until all them were all cyan colored block. At that point Csilla glared at him.
"Uhmm what's happening?" Chris said, staring at the screen that didn't appeared to be changing. "Why isn't it showing us the chosen duet group?"
At that point, Chef walked out and handed Chris a card.
"Thank you Chef. Also, can you get the tech team to fix this problem by the time they're done singing?" Chris asked and Chef nodded his head. "Awesome. Anyways, first duet up is... Vernon and Shion! With their version of the song "Satisfied". So come up here and start singing!"
"Oh god. I hope we don't mess up," Vernon said as he and Shion walked up to the stage.
"Hey we'll do fine," Shion spoke, nudging him and throwing a wink.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"Is he trying to flirt with me?"
Performance 1 - Vernon and Shion:
Everyone could hear the music starting, not at the beginning of the song but a bit further in. "At the party that night, that one night," Vernon sang, "unforgettable night we'll recall for days. Partying away for days, everyone hyped by all the craze."
"Everyone dancing under the flashing lights, music booming through the place," Shion sang out, "All in laughter, it all froze upon seeing your face. Now an never-ending game. Diligent flirts create a hungry flame. A bump became "hi", apologies proclaimed. My face was aflame, heart beating in pain! Feelings become untamed!"
Vernon, spoke his words out in song, "You're striking even if you stand there ever petrified."
"Oh please," Shion sang, "Not like you've been like this yourself."
"No, not me, never once petrified," Vernon sang to him.
"Not drunk right?" Shion sang, a teasing look on his face.
Vernon sang his line as he walked away from Shion, "Least I'm not petrified."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! So this is how flirting is when matched with someone who is equal! Met one hell of a catch! It's flirting in dream-dom at its height!" Shion sang out.
"I'll be frank, it's a different kinda life!" Vernon sang. "But so true, right?"
"I guess this starts the romance tonight," Aster snickered, earning a look from Csilla. "Oh relax."
"Well, who bumped into who?" Danica asked, earning looks from everyone. "What? Got to know that answer. It's not implied in the song."
"Obviously Shion bumping into Vernon," Aster said.
"What if it's the other way around?" Danica pointed out to her.
"But it's implied that Vernon is "supposedly" drunk in the song," Steren said. "So obviously he bumped into Shion."
"Girls, you're going off-topic here, we are supposed to comment, not debate," Csilla said to them.
"Ladies, how many points for them?" Chris asked, hoping to end the discussion.
"It'll be... six," Csilla said, before Aster could say another word all the while staring at the Aster, Steren and Danica. "Just a tad bit above middle score number. Not low, not quite high, just mediocre."
"Okay then, let's move on to our next duet group," Chris said, shoving Shion and Vernon off the stage. At that point, Chef threw a card at Chris's face. "It's still broken?"
"They have to do a whole reboot of the system! It will be another ten or so minutes," Chef called out from off-stage.
"Fine," Chris said as he read the card. "Our next group is Vivian and Lloyd!"
At that point, a giant spotlight shined down upon them and Vivian shrinked back into her seat. Smiling, Lloyd happily got out of his seat and Vivian followed behind him.
"Almost forgot about the spotlight," Chris laughed.
Performance 2 - Vivian and Lloyd:
The music started up and Vivian started the song, "When I left your warm embrace,"; as Lloyd overlapping her, "Our love is a never ending dream."
"We have always deny that we were truly ever in love," Vivian sang, "And we never once said why, now our days are long gone."
And Lloyd overlapped her again, "It always you I love from afar."
"Yet it's you I want to embrace, do we give our love doubt? Do we allow it to fall to death?" Lloyd sang, "Do we allow ourselves to live with our hearts torn apart? Or take the chance on this journey where we are truly meant to be?"
Vivian started singing once again, grabbing his free hand, "In my heart I love you. In yours, you love me too. But my hand is already given away."
"I'm here because you love me. You do, truly tell me," Lloyd sang. "Join me, we can begin a new day. I can free your life. I won't make you ashamed. I can lead you into a life of love regained. Our life is none at all with this distant longing."
Lloyd continued on singing, "Married to another man's blood, surrendering to his might. What is this love in life, when our lives are not entwining? If our love is to be come with me, vanish into night!"
"But it's already ended since we've begun," Vivian sang, pulling her hand free from his and stepping away in the process as the music came to an end.
"Thank you Lloyd and Vivian," Chris said as he stepped back onto the stage. "Judges, tell us about the song."
"Well, you definitely seemed more relax than in your first performance Vivian," Csilla spoke, "that's a good improvement there."
Danica piped up after Csilla, "And you both did eye contact with each other, which is good."
"And I'm glad that you kept the theme of the song," Steren spoke. "A love, not meant to be."
"So... is the theme of romance set for the night?" Aster asked, looking at Danica who only shrugged in response.
"Can we get a score?" Chris asked, looking at the judges, interrupting the judges comments. "Cause we need to get moving on this."
Steren, Danica and Csilla looked over at Aster. Taking in a deep breath, Aster stared at Vivian and Lloyd, "Six."
Vivian's Confessional Scene:
"Oh wow. We survived."
"Well, you guys heard the judges, now let's move on to our next group..." Chris spoke, staring off to the right side of the stage for a few seconds until a card hit him in in the back of his head. "Seriously? Behind me?"
"You didn't say where I could throw it from!" Chef shouted from behind the stage.
Sighing, Chris picked the card up from the ground and read the name out loud, "Jacob and Charlize."
"Better not screw this up," Jacob spoke, looking at Charlize.
"The same goes to you," Charlize said, straightening out her shirt as they walked up to the stage.
Performance 3 - Charlize and Jacob:
"You're running out of time," Charlize sang, glaring over at Jacob.
"We swear last breath never take to heart," Jacob sang, "You'll crawl, cower, times fall, torn apart."
"You're running out of time," Charlize sang again.
"I'll live forever with disloyalty, blunders and darners," Jacob sung.
"Out of time!" The two sang together before Charlize took a small step back as Jacob sang, "Out of time."
"This, take of, push to shove, biding my time on a dime to run," Jacob sang. "Trust crush can't be won to a point it dictates, greed left unsaid."
"Gone in a breeze!" Jacob sang, waving his hand to dismiss Charlize.
"You're a fool," Charlize snapped as she sang. "Just ditch your pursuit."
"Wounds hit by salt," Jacob sang out. "And laugh at the fall that is coming your way."
"Devour, savor traces of blood and deceit," Charlize sang.
"And in the defeat drums notes all the hurt," Jacob sang, "and everything is now dire because."
"You're running out of time," Charlize sang.
"We swear last breath never take to heart," Jacob sang. You'll crawl, cower, times fall, torn apart."
"You're running out of time!" Charlize sang out one more.
"I'll live forever with disloyalty, blunders and darners," Jacob sang out. "Out of time."
"Out of time!" The two sang together, ending the song.
"Alright ladies," Chris said. "What do you have to say and what score do they get?"
"Starters, Charlize you were really stiff," Csilla noted. "Not the least bit relaxed."
"I'm with her on that," Danica commented. "Not only that but hostility. The song you were to parody was "Partners in Crime" and if you two were to actually sing, you would not represent it. I mean the lead singers in the video are playing the role of a "couple". So, think... Bonnie and Clyde."
"I'm rather disappointed," Aster noted out loud, balancing a pen on her nose. "But hey, I liked most of the lyrics. Like Jacob's parts."
"I think you both should have split the lyrics up a bit more, you know... give Charlize a bit more time to sing," Csilla commented.
"Finally for points," Steven spoke up. "You will be given five. It was good, but also bad."
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"Score for me. She's too serious to even "relax" when performing. But hey, she can't knock me out on the lyrics."
"And now our next group," Chris spoke as a card was thrown at him again. "Seriously? It's not fixed yet! It's been like ten minutes already!"
"Well, it's taking longer!" Chef yelled out, throwing a fire extinguisher at Chris. Chris managed to quickly duck, the extinguisher missing him just by a few inches.
"Okay, just cool it," Chris spoke as he grabbed the card and read off the name, "Yves and V. Get up here fast and start singing before Chef throws something else."
Getting up from their seats, the two girls quickly made their way onto the stage.
Performance 4 - Yves and V:
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V started.
Yves sang the next line, "I have the upper hand."
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V sang for a second.
Quickly, Yves started up, "Doesn't mean you win."
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V sang for the third time.
"I have the upper hand," Yves sang.
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V sang for a fourth time.
Yves sang the next line, "Doesn't mean you win."
"I don't care if your up on top, your thing will never be good enough," V sang. "Do you think your dream will ever be? Can you truly make yourself free?"
"Don't care for money, I'll have the winning hand," Yves sang. "Bit by bit, you'll see what I've planned."
"A bite in the ass," V sang, "I am in command. Now is your end - I hold the upper hand!"
"Oh my god - you don't have the upper hand. And oh my god - I don't obey your command." Yves sang, "Oh my god - you don't have the upper hand. And oh my god - I don't obey your command."
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V sang, "Not gonna stop."
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," Yves sang, "I'm at the top."
"Oh-oh, oh-ah," V sang, "Not gonna stop,"
"Oh-oh, oh-ah, I'm at the top," Yves sang, ending the song.
"Well judges what do you have to say about this?" Chris asked.
"Well, a song of romance just became a song of power struggle," Csilla noted, writing something down on a piece of paper before balling it up and throwing it over her shoulder where an intern immediately grabbed it.
"Pretty sure someone wanted to punch someone here, right?" Danica commented, looking around at the others. "Just me? Okay."
"Steren, what is their point worth?" Aster commented, fanning herself with a magazine.
"Where did you get a magazine?" Csilla asked her, only to earn a shrug from Aster.
"I feel like the song could have been more creative if you have done a different part," Steren told them. "If you two get paired together again, challenge yourselves to do better please."
"Ladies," Chris spoke out, "points."
"Alright fine," Aster groaned. "You are being awarded... five points."
"Well, there you go everyone, that was our fourth duet of the night," Chris spoke. "Now, you to go take a seat and let's get our fifth group up here. Which I am going to pick."
Looking at the crowd, he pointed his finger at Mikata who stared at Chris wide-eyed.
"You, whatever your name is," Chris spoke. "You and your partner up here now."
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
"He-He doesn't like me..."
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"We definitely need to get Mikata's confidence built up."
Performance 5 - Brett and Mikata:
"You I won't condone, time to be dethrone," Brett sang, "disturbance uncontrolled."
"You'll end up by yourself, ca-can only blame yourself," Mikata sang out. "I-I won't care what...ever."
"Well, I may be done," Brett sang, "I won't cry and try to lie."
"I'm plotting attacks of course, getting ready for a war. I'm planning out your fall," Brett and Mikata sang out. "I'll get to walk away, and without feeling afraid. You left no impact whatsoever."
"Well... I may be done," Mikata sang, "I... and try to lie."
"But I won't to be blamed. I'm changing up the game, I'll say good bye forever," Brett said, making sure Mikata was getting it right. "And in the end when I'm gone, you'll be undone, I won't care whatsoever."
"Whatsoever," Mikata sang out.
"And in the end when I'm gone, you'll be done," Brett sang tossing the coin he found in his hand as the song ended, "And I won't care whatsoever."
"Brett," Csilla commented, "hand over whatever you have in your hand."
"Uh sure?" He said, pulling out the gold coin and tossing it to them.
Grabbing it, Danica looked it over and slammed it down on the table.
"Looks like you got an automatic five points," she said. "So, the score we wanted to give you doesn't matter anymore."
"What is happening?" Chris asked.
"You skipped this in episode one," Steren said. "But there are seven coins. Five which can give you a certain amount of points to increase your score, one that gives you immunity, and another that can boot you off."
"There are eight coins," Aster said.
"Right," Csilla noted. "The eighth coin does this - if you have it and are eliminated, you can use it to have someone else be booted off instead of you. Of your choosing."
"But… if a host or judge sees any of the coins during any challenge, then they have to immediately be used." Aster said. "Like right now. The five point coin was just used, securing you another five points to your original score."
"No if's, and's or but's," Danica agreed. "We saw it, now it's been used. It won't reappear until episode eight."
"And now, coins worth one through four points still remain on the grounds," Steren happily laughed.
"Good luck finding them though. But do remember, once seen in a challenge they have to be handed over," Steren said. "Until you decide to use them, it's best to keep them hidden."
"And now, we add it that to the original score we were going to give you," Csilla said, the four judges whispering to each other for a few seconds. "And your total point count is now... nine. Originally it was going to be four due to poor singing for the most part, but hey you guys got bonus points."
Brett's Confessional Scene:
"Win some, lose some. But we got a near ten!"
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
"I-I cou-could be voted off."
"Well, there you go, performance five," Chris spoke, pushing Brett and Mikata off the stage. "Now onto performance six!"
"Try the system now!" Chef called out.
Looking at Csilla pressed the button and the squares lit up again, each one blinking a different color before it stopped on one revealing the next duet singing - Quaoar and Mag.
"Alright, you two get up here," Chris spoke as the two got up from their seats, the bright spotlight almost blinding them both until one of the interns moved the light off of them; both looking displeased towards Chris.
"Meh, move on and sing already," Chris spoke, as the two came up to the stage to do their song.
Performance 6 - Quaoar and Mag:
"Which way will this fight go?" Quaoar sung.
"Of us two, one must lose," Mag sang. "Even fate can't change."
"And I can live with that!" Quaoar yelled out in a singing tone, getting right up in Mag's face.
"Beating your ass I know I can! And I can once more again," Quaoar sang once more, as he stepped away from Mag, "for the hate is real. Discordant brought this adrenaline."
"Beating your ass I know I can. I will win this fight everyday," Quaoar continued on singing, "Rage brought by unfocused love. As long as it's understood. One fall, won't end the way of the emotion in my heart."
"Love gone, but I am strong. A shattered ground won't knock me down," Mag sang, "My pain no longer controlled. Now we can end everything!"
"Beating your ass I know I can! And I can once more again," Mag sang out, "for this hate is real. Discordant brought this adrenaline."
"Beating your ass I know I can!" Quaoar sang out.
"I will win this fight every day," Mag sang.
"Rage brought by unfocused love," Quaoar sang.
Mag sung out, "As Long as it's understood."
"One fall, won't end the way of the emotion in my heart," Quaoar and Mag sang, ending the song.
"This is where you should have made the comment of someone punching someone Danica," Steren commented.
"Oh well, bad timing on my part," Danica laughed. "But definitely a good song to kick butt too."
"No more action movies for you," Csilla stated, letting out a sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Screw you," Danica told her, sticking her tongue out.
"Judges, from what you observed, their points?" Chris spoke, an annoyed look on his face.
"Definitely a good song," Aster said to them. "I prefer this over the parody of "Candyman". So for points... You two are being given a seven."
Performance 7 - Antoinette and Luna:
Everyone could hear the music starting up as Antoinette and Luna took the stage. Grabbing the microphone, Antoinette sang right on cue, "Are we meant to be nothing? Never see what we're meant to be?"
"You speak of dangers," Luna sang.
"Are our lives commanded? Obeying stones with the written words?" Antoinette sang.
"You speak of dangers," Luna sang once more before her voice deepened. "What we hone? Is it our control? Is there any way to change what was set for us? Or accept this is the only fate to take?"
"Are we meant to obey your line?" Antoinette sang out. "Are we sacrifice one by one?"
"You speak of dangers," Luna sang.
"Is there a voice inside me? Meant to overthrow your command?" Antoinette sang out.
"You speak of dangers," Luna sang once more moments before deepening her voice again. "What we hone? Is it our control? Our lives condemned to this one goal? Is there any way to change what was set for us? Or accept this is the only fate to take?"
The two soon sang together, "Alter the game we were gave? To change what was set for us? Carve a new way as a fate to take?"
Antoinette sang out the last line, "As a fate to take?"
"Well, I didn't know Luna could hit a range like that," Aster commented. "Nice."
"Your vocals okay, girl?" Danica commented, her face showing a concern look as she raised an eyebrow.
"I'm good," Luna spoke, a smile on her face.
"The two of you girls definitely did a good job with this song," Csilla noted. "But, I'm cutting the comments short so we can move onto the next group, and then we can announce the winning team. You're being rewarded... six points."
"Alright, now we have our last group," Chris spoke as Luna and Antoinette walked off the stage. "Laverne and Capone, please come on up here and finish out the show."
Getting up from their seats, the two of them stepped onto the stage; in the process Laverne had taken off her shoes and lobbed them in the direction of Chelsea.
Performance 8 - Laverne and Capone:
"We rise to the stars and suns, end up dizzy," Capone sang out as he pulled out a glittered cover ball from his pocket. "If only for tonight, let's make it right just for us."
"Whoa, whoa, It's here we rise, reset and renew," Laverne sang, doing a backflip away from Capone. "Abysses begin, beginnings for you, whoa, whoa."
"Impulses serene, addictions, one forever accepts," Capone sang out, throwing the glitter ball only for Laverne to catch it with her feet. "And only took chance to be free, forever to climb."
The ball dropped into her hands as she flipped onto her feet, "Overzealous, true and right, still a new star spawns. Overzealous, doubt thrown out, star lies with no doubt."
"Overzealous, true and right, revealing the night through us. Overzealous, irreplaceable, vanity gone feel passion and vigorous," the two sang; Capone grabbing Laverne by the wrist as he dropped to one knee, only for the ball to glide down his left arm and down his right arm into his hand. "Display, fade never, a thousand lights carry us. All that glows, will shine through. One far desirable, always informal, from fate desire we glow in this black sea."
"Shine on, reveal admire be the brightest fuse to be observed," Capone sang out, as Laverne backflipped over his arm and onto her own two feet.
"Freely behold this nightly glow forever, whoa, whoa," Laverne sang.
"Carrying a fire very rare, brightest zeal to come, to know," Capone sung.
"Overzealous true and right, revealing the night through us. Overzealous, irreplaceable, vanity gone feel passion and vigorous," the two sang out, as Capone threw the baseball and it hit Chris's left eye. "Display, fade never, a thousand lights carry us. Overzealous!"
"So, judges, what do you think of this performance?" Chris asked, staring at the judges with a "black" eye forming, but due to the glitter, it looked like a miniature disco ball on his face.
"Besides the ball of glitter," Danica started up, shaking glitter from her hair. "I say it was an overall impressive performance."
"At least we got some movement in this, so it wasn't boring," Aster commented. "But you both did cut it close to the limit mark, a few extra lines would have been nice to make sure you stayed safe."
"Overall, the song was good and your lyrics were descent," Csilla stated. "For your score..."
Looking at Steren, Danica and Aster, the four muttered between each other for a few seconds before looking back at them.
"Seven," Csilla said. "Seven points for your duet."
"Thank you everyone who sang tonight," Chris spoke, coughing out glitter. "And thank you judges for judging. Now, let's tally up the score, cut them in half and see who won and who lost!"
"What about those who helped write the songs?" Chelsea snapped at him.
Chris grew quiet at that comment and stared down at her. "And thanks to the song helpers... for helping out with the songs. At most, poorly done."
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"That's the kind of thanks I get? I deserve better - no. More than this!"
"Alright," Aster called out. "We got the scoring settled. Team Hadar, your entire score, not divided, is 26 points."
"But when divided, you have 13 points," Danica spoke up. "Good job tonight."
"And Team Procyon, undivided, you points tally up to be...," Csilla said. "24 points."
"Thus when halved, you have 12 points, which means you are one point below Hadar" Steren said to them. "Thus, Hadar wins."
"And there you have it, Team Hadar is the winner of this episode. Team Procyon, head to the elimination spot to send someone home!"
Elimination Scene
"Welcome to your elimination scene, Celeste Procyon!" Chris happily called out; the members of Procyon were standing on the stage while the Serene Hadar members were in the audience seats. "Today you guys get to eliminate one person from your little team that! It's your pick on who goes home. And let me tell you something, you could potentially be eliminating a contestant who can help you succeed in the next challenge. But hey, I'm not a contestant so no pressure on me, but a whole lot on you."
Behind Chris, the confessional room for them to vote in rose up from the stage.
"You guys should know how voting works, so I'm not going to bother to explain it to you," Chris. "Get in there and vote. Remember, you have a whole lot of pressure on your shoulders."
Chef appeared next to Chris with the tray of marshmallows and the two broke out laughing.
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
"Ugh, it makes me so mad that I didn't get to sing at all. Plus, of everyone, I have the better singing voice." Letting out a deep sigh, she slumped in her seat before straightening up again. "God if I get kicked off now my agent is sooo going to be mad at me. But I sooo want to make Laverne pay! Ugh... Next time! She will! But... Buck is of no help. Especially when it comes to assisting me."
Capone's Confessional Scene:
"Dang, Laverne and I did good tonight. Well, we're getting rid of another person tonight. I would probably get rid of Laverne cause she's good. Like me. But... if I need to make an all-star team, I will need her on it."
Buck's Confessional Scene:
"Man this team has a lot of stuff going on. Girls are fighting. Got two that are headstrong and fighting each other like two bulls locking horns with each other. Then we got a silent, but deadly goose. I don't get this drama going on. But... guess it's good for the show. I'll choose... Chelsea. For the drama, right?"
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
"I'm going for Chelsea," she spoke. "Her arrogance is starting to shine."
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
"Jacob managed to prove some usefulness to me. I guess he can stay for another episode. But for those assisting us, what world do you live in? Wake up, drink some coffee and get to work! If I had the chance, I would vote off all those who were suppose to help us with our songs! That means Chelsea, Buck, and Mork! But I only get to vote off one of them. Buck."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"There is no way that Charlize can vote me off. Not tonight. But that doesn't mean I can't vote her off. But I'm in an alliance now, and she's all alone. Later Charlize!"
Mork's Confessional Scene:
"I may not have sang today, but... out of us "writers" Chelsea was a pain in the neck, but she did get people writing. I think? Even if she got on everyone's nerves. And there is also Charlize and her demands... And we're going to be stressed out if either one of them stays."
Quaoar's Confessional Scene:
"Charlize and Jacob, they're both over their heads for control. I'll watch them burn themselves. Buck... sorry."
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"Today was a long day... But Shion was definitely passionate about the song, which is good. In all honesty, he is a real flirt. But anyways, Buck is someone I'm not sure will stick around much longer."
Shion's Confessional Scene:
"In truth, Buck. Maybe another season dude."
Mag's Confessional Scene:
"Buck is smart, that's for sure but... I don't see much effort coming from him... But if the next challenge deals with inventing something we'll need him. So... Chelsea, you're out in my books."
"Well, let's get on with the votes. As you can see there only ten marshmallows, thus confirming that one person from your team is indeed leaving the show," Chris said. "Chef will toss them to you as I say your name, then take a seat in the audience seats."
Chef grabbed the first marshmallow and stared at contestants before him.
"Allow me to call out those that are safe," Chris said, holding up a marshmallow before putting it back down on the plate that Chef was holding. "Jacob."
Jacob caught the marshmallow that Chef threw as Chris called out the next name. "Mork."
Throwing the marshmallow, Mork let out a breath of relief as he caught it.
"Vernon and Shion, you two are safe as well," Chris spoke as Chef tossed them their marshmallows.
"Followed by Capone, you are safe too," Chris said as Chef threw the marshmallow.
"Laverne, no votes. This time," Chris commented, making her raise an eyebrow at him.
"And also safe, Quaoar and Mag," Chris said as the two caught their marshmallows. "Those are all of the people who did not get a single vote."
Everyone looked to see that Chelsea, Buck, and Charlize were the last three people.
"Wow, got to say, tonight is a weird night." Chris commented. "One got voted due to attitude, another for being overly demanding, and a the third for low creativity."
"Just tell us who goes home already," Charlize snapped.
"Cool it and get off your throne already, sheesh," Chris said, an annoyed look on his face. "Out of the three of you, only one person has a single vote. And that person is Charlize."
Throwing the marshmallow, Charlize caught it with a proud smirk on her face.
"Now we have Buck and Chelsea," Chris noted. "Only one of you has the most votes. Did either of you find a coin?"
The two looked at each other before shaking their heads "no" to Chris.
"Too bad, your loss. You guys really need to do a treasure hunt," Chris told them, indicating that they needed to get started on the coin search. "The person going home is…"

"… Buck." Chris spoke out as Chef threw the final marshmallow to Chelsea. "Buck, you are officially leaving this place. Good bye."
"Well, got past the first few eliminations," Buck spoke. "Better than nothing and I got a few new ideas to try out at home."
"See, there's some spirit of someone going home," Chris spoke, a smile on his face. "Don't worry, that won't last long. Chef will surely destroy that happiness."
Raising an eyebrow at him, Chef escorted Buck away as both teams decided now would be a good time to head back to their bedrooms.
"Well that is it for this episode of LV. Tune in next time for the next contestants and why these contestants will be doing next. What we will do exactly… you will just have to wait and see."
