Chapter 7

Bella

"AAAHHH ...! HEEELLPPP ...!"

What?

I startled, and so did Edward. We looked at each other.

"What was that?"

Edward shrugged his shoulders.

Someone ran past our door, still screaming.

We both jumped out of bed and got dressed. We opened the door, stepped out into the hallway, and looked around. Emmett and Rose stood just as confused at their door. We hurried together to the banister and looked down.

A completely distraught Alice ran in circles and screamed.

"Alice, what's wrong?", Rose asked her.

"A MONSTER! IN MY BED!"

I rushed downstairs to reassure her.

"Alice, what's wrong?"

I tried to grab her by the shoulders.

"A spider! A monster spider! In my bed!"

She was trembling and at her wits' end.

"I'll take a look. Don't worry, Alice. Uncle Emmett will fix everything," he said and disappeared in the direction of her room.

The spider was really huge. No wonder she was so freaked out.

We set the breakfast table.

Edward quickly fetched fresh rolls and by the time the last drop of coffee had run through, the rolls were also on the table.

Alice had herself under control again and laughed.

A beautiful calm morning.

Today we didn't want to do anything, just rest. And that's what we did.

Rose lay down in the garden with a book about babies.

Alice disappeared to her mysterious shopping trip.

Edward played his piano again and Emmett kept him company for a while.

And I continued to knit my sock.

Peace and quiet. Wonderful.

For lunch we had Indian curry and Alice was still not there.

I'm curious what she had to buy so urgently and why we shouldn't be there.

I cleaned around a bit and when I was in our bedroom, I opened the windows and thought about last night.

Edward was so ... wild and I had also enjoyed it. To touch his penis so extensively was ... hot. I had never been so aroused and then he had literally thrown himself on me. I didn't know him like that. But as I said, I had liked it, it was so ... wicked.

A tremor ran through my body.

"Bella, are you here?"

Rose's voice wafted into the room.

"Yes, come in."

The door opened and Rose's head appeared. She grinned.

"Come with me quickly! You have to hear this."

I followed her downstairs and she told me to be quiet. She pulled me to the window, which was open.

Emmett and Edward strolled through the garden and talked.

"To turn chicks on, you always need a casual saying. They're into that."

Edward looked at Emmett skeptically.

My poor Honey Bunny. Emmett had him in his claws.

"And those would be?"

"Dude, there are so many. Let me think. " He pondered. "Ah wait, that's a good one. 'Hello, don't I know you? You're the girl with that adorable smile.'"

He beamed at Edward, who shook his head.

I am not familiar with such sayings. But somehow they are idiotic. What woman with an ounce of brains in her head wants to hear something like that?

"How about this. 'Can I ask you two questions? One, what are your favorite flowers? Second, to what address may I send them to you?'"

Edward smiled in anguish.

"Oh wait ... that's a good one too. 'You are getting prettier by the day and already look today like next week!'"

Emmett was in his element.

"Emmett, give it a rest. I don't need something like that, I have Bella."

That's a good answer. Hang in there, my Honey Bunny.

"Don't you like them? A man has to be able to do that! It's part of the basic training!"

Emmett caught him by the elbow, because my Honey Bunny wanted to go.

"Let me consider. Something that suits you."

Rose and I chuckled.

He tried hard to initiate Edward into manhood.

My Honey Bunny didn't need that. He was a man, a man out of a picture book.

"'If you were a rose in the desert, I would kneel down before you and weep, lest you die of thirst.' It's made just for you!"

He looked at him hopefully.

"Yes, that's better. But what woman wants to hear something like that? Have you had any success with it?"

"But claro yes. Women want to hear that kind of stuff. Trust me."

Edward didn't look like he would believe him.

Right, my Honey Bunny, don't believe everything he says.

"Here are my top two. They always work."

He cleared his throat and stood up in front of Edward.

"'Can you take off your clothes so I can see where you hide your angel wings?'"

My Honey Bunny snorted.

"And this one still. 'Your underwear would go well with my bedding!' That's a really good one, isn't it?"

Oh God, Emmett, where did you get such garbage? Any sensible woman would turn on her heels and run away ... if she's clear-headed, of course.

"Emmett thanks for sharing your ... um ... wisdom, but I really have no use for it."

He turned and almost ran into the house.

Emmett watched him, pondering.

Rose and I sprinted into the kitchen and pretended.

"Is that what he did to you?"

I just had to ask.

"Yes, he did ... and he wasn't successful with it." She grinned. "It took him a long time to understand that he wasn't successful at it. Men."

We laughed.

Men, at least most of them, were already a species apart.

Alice came back with full bags and disappeared into her room without giving any explanation. She steadfastly refused to tell what she had purchased. Her glorious explanation was that we would see it tomorrow.

Uh-huh ... well then, we'll see.

She brought delicious cake and I suggested, since the weather was nice, to go to the park, not five minutes walk from us.

Picnic was the order of the day.

Edward clung to my coat-tails all day long, even though I was wearing pants. A touch here and a kiss there, nothing new really.

And already he was standing behind me again.

I was packing the picnic basket.

"Bella."

Kiss on the nape.

"Have I told you today that I love you?"

Kiss on the shoulder.

"If not, I love you, Bella."

He turned me around and ... kiss on the mouth and another and another.

"I love you too, Edward."

My hands wandered into his neck, and I tickled the soft hairs. He growled contentedly.

"Bella, are you ready? We want to go," Alice's voice sounded.

"We'll be right there," I replied, and kissed my Honey Bunny profusely once again.

He tastes so good.

His hands were on my bottom again.

They lay there more often during the day now.

We spread out the soft blankets we had taken with us.

It was such beautiful weather, not too hot.

In the shade of a large maple tree we made ourselves comfortable. Everyone got a plate and a mug for the coffee.

I sat between Edward's legs and leaned my back against his chest. His fingers moved incessantly.

On my belly, on my arms or my legs, everything he could reach. It was very distracting. He kissed my nape, nibbled my ear. That was very distracting. He would kiss my head or - if he could reach - my lips. He would whisper in my ear how beautiful I was or how much he loved me.

We girls talked about God and the world and Emmett lay on his back still recovering from his feeding frenzy.

"Next week Edward's parents are coming to visit ... for the gala," I told them.

Emmett sat up with a jerk.

"That's cool. I haven't seen those two in a long time. It's going to be fun."

He rejoiced like a little child.

Edward was still busy kissing my neck.

A shadow fell on us.

"We are the Life Guards. Do you have permission to be here?"

I looked up and Rose, Emmett and Alice's mouths were open.

Four teenagers stood in front of us. I smiled.

I hadn't seen the four of them for a while. They had long black capes on, the kind you get when you buy a vampire costume.

Emmett took the floor.

"Life Guards?"

"Silence, you unworthy one!" she hissed.

Emmett was not intimidated.

Edward and I chuckled.

"Always easy ..."

That was as far as he got.

"We are the Life Guards. Be silent if you value your life!"

She looked at him sharply. Her eyes flung lightning bolts at him.

The four were Jane and her brother Alec with their friends Felix and Demetri. The siblings were no more than fifteen years old and their two friends maybe two years older. Jane was a pretty young girl with blonde shoulder-length curls. Her brother Alec looked a lot like her, except that his hair was black. Both of them were quite short, which made them look younger than they were.

"Well ... give me a break, dwarf. Get out of here and leave us alone."

Emmett waved his hands to scare them away.

"I said keep quiet, you worm, or you will be writhing in pain. My Master did not invite you. What is your desire?"

She looked sternly at Emmett. He laughed.

A woman came hurrying to us.

Heidi.

I greeted them with a nod.

"What did I tell you? Don't leave the group." She looked at all of us. "Sorry to bother you," she apologized.

"No problem, Heidi. They didn't do anything bad."

Edward had come off my neck and was reassuring Heidi. She looked at Edward as if she was seeing him for the first time today.

"Well, all right, then. Goodbye."

She nodded to all of us and shooed her lost sheeps back to the group.

Jane turned around once more and raged against us.

"Next time I will make you suffer pain - with just a look. Do not forget my words."

She laughed hysterically, madly.

"What was that, Bella?"

Alice looked after them, stunned.

"Jane and her brother Alec with their friends Felix and Demetri. They are the Life Guards."

"Huh ...?" came from the three of them.

"They are from the mental institution. They have split personalities. All four of them. They often come here and enjoy the nice weather," I explained to my confused friends.

"They can't just let something like that out. They're homicidal. If they run amok!", Emmett got upset.

"They're harmless, Emmett."

Finally my Honey Bunny said something.

A discussion broke out. A pros and cons, whether one should simply let mentally disturbed people run around freely.

Edward busied himself with my neck again.

What's wrong with him? He can't keep his hands off me. I like it, but it's also new.

I enjoyed the beautiful weather, the sun on my face ... Edward behind me.

His touches stirred me up. Concentration was a foreign word for me, at least at the moment. His fingers distracted me as they ran along the waistband of my pants.

"Edward, keep your fingers to yourself. Leave Bella alone. I want to have a talk with her."

Alice looked at him reprovingly.

He snorted, muttering that she didn't know what she wanted.

I have to agree with him there.

It was a nice relaxed and fun afternoon.

Edward

Emmett tracked me for half the day to impart me with his wisdoms. But I only wanted to be with Bella, to touch her with my lips or fingers.

Last night had shattered my world view to the core. Bella and I had sex. No cuddling or making love, but pure sex. Actually, I was of the opinion to be immune to it, to have myself under control. Far from it. I had tasted blood. I couldn't describe it any other way. I had always been crazy about Bella, but now crazy was no longer the right expression. Actually, I felt like a drug addict who had been deprived of his drug. I think that was the right description. If I could touch her, everything was fine again, but if I was separated from her, withdrawal set in. What happened to me? Where did my super self-control go?

Emmett followed me like a shadow and explained how a man should behave.

Ridiculous. His sayings to win women over were ... idiotic. Then he said women always want the opposite of what they say. Even more idiotic. You have to walk like a man! You have to talk like a man! You have to laugh like a man! You have to pee like a man! And so on and so on ... Where did he get all that from?

I hid from him, or I tried to, all morning and half the afternoon.

All I wanted was to be with Bella! But that wasn't possible, because Emmett stuck to me like chewing gum. Didn't he have anything better to do? I missed Bella, even though she was in the same house as me. I think I'm going crazy after all. As I stood in front of the mirror this morning trying to straighten my hair ... Hopeless. My new haircut made it impossible. Less than two minutes later, they were sticking out in all directions again. Nothing helped. My body revolted against my mind. Anarchy. On my head and further down, too. Where was this going? I think my teenage hormones, which I had never let loose, were pushing their way to the surface with force. This could not end well!

Emmett was back.

"Have you ever given Bella underwear?" he asked.

Underwear?

"Um ... no, why would I?"

I was confused.

"I mean sexy lingerie."

He wiggled his eyebrows and immediately Bella came to mind ... in the locker room.

"You can give her what you like. There are such hot parts that don't hide anything, buddy. See-through or so skimpy that she wouldn't even need to wear it at all."

"No, I haven't come up with that idea yet. But it's a good one."

My imagination was in free fall. Bella in red, white, black, blue ... A touch of nothing. Good virgin!

"If you want, we can go out and do some shopping," he suggested.

"I don't know. Can we just go to a store like that?"

"Sure. A lot of men do that. I've done it, too. For Rosi for her birthday."

His gaze blurred and a dreamy smile spread across his face.

"All right. Why not."

He slapped me on the shoulder.

"This is going to be fun."

I can imagine that. I do feel a little uncomfortable. Me in a lingerie store ... that's what Bella usually does.

Alice came back from her shopping trip, and we went to the park.

My hands and lips could not leave Bella. I would have loved to grab her and throw her over my shoulder - like a primal man. But that was not proper. I appealed to my self-control ... Futile. My body did what it wanted. Fortunately, Bella was sitting in front of me, otherwise it would have been a bit embarrassing. My imagination continued to work overtime and I didn't get much of the conversation they were having. Only Bella mattered. Sometimes a day went by quickly and today in particular it dragged on and time didn't want to pass. Can't it be evening already! Bedtime! Bella-time!

Jane distracted me a little, fortunately.

The first time we had met the 'Life Guards' was about a year ago. She was babbling something about 'Her Master needs new recruits' and muttering to herself that it didn't work, we had a shield.

I had no idea and neither did Bella what she was talking about, but it was entertaining.

Then there was a red-haired woman. She always stood alone and jumped on the spot.

"You can't get me! You can't get me!" or "Catch me! Catch me!"

Other words I have never heard from her.

Her name is Victoria and she had suffered a trauma, Heidi explained to us.

I felt sorry for the poor souls, but they were well taken care of at the Volturi-Sanatorium.

A prestigious sanatorium.

FINALLY it was time to go home.

My new teenage-self cheered.

At dinner we talked about tomorrow.

I would be in the studio. Jasper was coming to pick me up to put the finishing touches on the recordings. Almost a day without Bella. How was I going to survive that? Maybe I could talk her into coming along! It's worth a try.

Alice planned the shopping trip for next week to dress us for the gala and update our closet.

Bella moaned.

I could understand her.

Bella got up and wanted to get something else to drink from the kitchen.

I followed her ... unobtrusively.

A few minutes of togetherness had to be.

I embraced her hips and pulled her to me.

That felt so good.

Bella looked me in the eye and smiled.

How I love her.

"Edward," she breathed and kissed me.

She started to chuckle.

"What's wrong with you today? You won't leave my side."

"Since last night, I can't think of anything but you in our bed," I mumbled kissing my way down her neck.

"I know what you mean."

Then she grabbed my ass and pressed me against her.

"Oh God, Bella! I love you so much and I want to go to bed," I whispered in her ear.

"Edward, get a grip. Our friends are in the living room."

She was trembling.

Yes, she was right. But I didn't want her to be right.

My hands wandered from her hips up the sides ...

"Where are you. I'm thirsty!"

One of these days I'm going to strangle Alice. That miserable little pain in the ass.

"We'll be there."

Bella took my hand and pulled me back into the living room.

Always these disturbances. Maybe I could persuade our FRIENDS to take an all-day trip. As soon as possible.

We sat back on the sofa and Bella put a hand on my thigh, on top of my thigh. I pulled the thin blanket a little over my lap, because my reactions could no longer be hidden.

Bella chuckled.

Little beast.

FINALLY everyone wanted to go to bed. We cleaned up together and everyone wished everyone a good night.

Last we went up the stairs and Bella's sweet ass swung back and forth before my eyes. Once we were upstairs and the door fell into the lock, there was no stopping me.

The door slammed shut and I could no longer control myself. I pushed Bella against the nearest wall and attacked her mouth.

Then the doorbell rang ...

My frustrated moan could certainly still hear our neighbors.

"Who can that be?"

Bella's breathing came frantically.

"No idea, but we'll have to look."

I did not want to be separated from Bella and pulled her with me.

"It's already half past ten. Who's ringing the bell at this hour?"

I didn't have an answer to that either.

"We'll see in a minute, and then we'll go back up quickly."

Our idyllic home turns into a madhouse. One is only disturbed. Can you believe it!

Once downstairs, I opened the door.

Two people stood in front of the door and looked at us with beaming faces.

No bedtime with Bella.

My face darkened.

"Baby?" she said, looking from Bella to me in confusion.

Goodbye, togetherness ...
