Chapter 13

Bella

I was so nervous. Now I stood here in our bathroom and put on the black transparent negligee. It sat skin-tight in the chest area and became wider down. So far down it did not go at all - only to just above the buttocks.

I had to laugh when I thought of Edward's face.

But he was also too funny when I just stormed into the bathroom.

Rose came up with the grandiose idea and Alice was immediately on fire. They dragged me into this wicked store and my eyes almost fell out of my head. But no one disturbed my explorations. Rose hurried because she wanted something specific and so I just looked around and discovered this negligee. It came in red and black. I could not decide which I liked better, so I closed my eyes and let chance decide.

He has chosen the same. He is so cute, my Honey Bunny.

I stood in front of the mirror and examined myself.

A little scandalous, but I liked it. Alice said that I only had to jump around with it in front of him and everything else would be a formality.

I took a deep breath and opened the bathroom door.

I was awakened by a noise.

What is it?

My consciousness was still half asleep, but my Honey Bunny was not lying still and talking in his sleep.

I always found that interesting, but unfortunately I was sleeping quite deeply and therefore didn't get to hear it that often.

"Bella ..." he murmured, and I smiled.

My Honey Bunny dreamed about me.

I lay snuggled up to him and suddenly his hand wandered down my back and clasped my bottom.

Oops ...! What was he dreaming about?

"You look so hot," he continued to murmur.

I looked hot?

I smothered my chuckles against his chest.

"Oh baby, you turn me on so much."

Baby? Me? Something completely new for a change.

I grinned to myself.

He had apparently liked what I had done with him, that he dreamed about it. I was so proud of myself. Two weeks ago I would have run away screaming.

"Tighter Bella ... tighter."

What tighter?

I ran my hand over his bare chest and now he moaned. He turned with me to the side and put his leg over my hips.

Oh my God! He had an erection!

"Yes baby ... that's it ... you're so tight ..."

He dreamed that we were making love!

His pelvis he bumped against me again and again and I had to stifle a laugh.

"Do you like it when I'm this deep inside you? "

By now he was panting.

That it didn't wake him up?

"Edward, wake up," I said, shaking him gently.

No reaction, he continued diligently.

"Yeah baby, I'll be ready in a minute."

I notice that - and I could no longer suppress my laughter.

"Edward!"

I shook him firmly by his shoulder.

"Mmm ...", he mumbled, but his movements did not stop.

"Bella ... what ..." he whispered - he was still half asleep.

"You were dreaming."

I kissed him on his lips.

Suddenly his movements stopped.

"Honey? ... Just a dream ..."

"Yes Honey Bunny, you were dreaming."

I stroked over his beautiful face.

He chuckled.

"It was a beautiful dream."

"I can imagine," I said, pushing my pelvis forward a bit.

He gasped and continued to chuckle.

"You called me Baby."

"I guess I did. "He sighed. "Just a good two more days and then ..."

I knew what he meant and kissed him again.

"Yes ... and then we can pick up where we just left off."

He rolled back onto his back and pulled me with him.

"We will," he muttered.

I don't even know if he had really woken up, but his breathing was already slowing down. Probably not.

I woke up because I was cold.

Edward had stolen my blanket and was lying there wrapped up.

This blanket stealer.

I crawled to him and slipped under the covers.

So nice warm.

My feet were cold and needed to be warmed up. My Honey Bunny protested, and I slid even closer.

He was so nice and warm and cozy.

His arms pulled me to his chest. It could hardly be more comfortable.

When I think about last night, I get all warm in a certain part of my body. I had to encourage myself the whole time, but it was worth it and wasn't so bad. We should do this more often. It tastes really good, just a little ... slimy. Esmé was really disappointed, but when Alice mentioned about the wedding ... It will never end. They were even thinking of moving here. I had to admit that I kind of liked that, but not next door. There should be a few miles in between. Marriage! Children! I had already thought about that. Esmé wouldn't rest until her son was hitched. A child would also be okay, a sweet little Edward, yes, that would be something. Then I'd have two to cuddle through. There was Alice, who was acting weird again. What was she planning? I think we'll find out sooner than we'd like, though. I suspect bad things.

I heard footsteps in the hallway. The first ones were awake.

My gaze slid to the alarm clock.

Half past seven. A good time to start the day.

I wriggled out of Edward's arms and went into the bathroom. Back in the room, Edward was sitting up in bed looking at me when I entered. His eyes darkened and a grin appeared on his face.

"Morning, sweetheart."

"You too, Honey Bunny."

He looked at me as if he wanted to eat me up. Inwardly, I squirmed at that look.

He stood up and came toward me. And he didn't just come at me, he crept up like a predator.

I took a step back - that was as far as I could go - the door at my back prevented me from escaping.

"Bella ... Baby ..."

I had to chuckle.

So he had noticed everything after all.

"Yes, Edward."

"How about you leave that part on. " He pointed to the negligee. "All day ..."

"I don't think I'm going to walk around the house like this all day ... Your parents ... Alice and Rose wouldn't matter ... But Emmett, I don't know."

He took another step closer.

"You might be right about that."

He grinned and took another step.

I looked around desperately for an escape route.

"You cannot escape from me. You are mine. Mine alone."

Slowly, it became cramped. The room did not offer many escape options. Remained the bathroom or the hallway.

He raised his hand and beckoned me to him with his index finger.

I shook my head.

That was so ... exciting. If I wanted to escape to the bathroom, I had to be very quick. He was only a few steps away. Remained the hallway - a lunge to the left, feigned of course, I rushed to the bedroom door, tore it open and jumped out screeching.

Edward was right on my heels.

I slammed into someone with full force.

"Good morning, Bella!"

An amused Carlisle looked at me.

Can I die, please - and if I can, on the spot. This is so embarrassing. It couldn't be more embarrassing.

I shrieked and rushed back into the bedroom, slamming the door behind me.

My Honey Bunny was lying on the bed and laughing.

He laughed ... at me. Just you wait, buddy.

"Oh Bella ... your face ... delicious ... unforgettable ..."

He laughed at me. He would pay for that.

I smiled at him and went to the bed. Just before it, I stopped and looked at him.

"Bella ..."

His laughter died away.

I ran my finger over my collarbone and pulled my lower lip between my teeth.

His eyes grew big.

It can't be that hard, can it? Further.

My hand wandered further over my left breast and my mean Honey Bunny moaned. Inwardly I was happy like a little child, but my anger made me become braver than I am. My hand slid further down - my mean Honey Bunny followed my hand.

"Bella ... what are you doing?"

A raspy moan, that's all it was.

What am I doing? You can see that.

"Nothing, Honey Bunny."

I looked down his body and smiled.

Mission almost accomplished.

His look became wild.

I took two steps back and my hands were now on the hem of the negligee. I embraced it and slowly pulled it higher.

His groan turned into a gasp.

Good.

With one movement I pulled it over my head and now I stood before him in all my glory.

In his boxer shorts it twitched ... violently.

I turned around and went to the bathroom.

"Come on, get moving. Get up and don't you dare come after me."

And already I was in the bathroom and closed the door.

OH MY GOD! My 'someday' father-in-law had seen me as good as naked. This is so embarrassing. I knew Carlisle, he wouldn't say a word about it. If it had been Emmett ... Total disaster. I can't imagine.

"Bella ... honey ... let me in ... please."

He knocked on the door, and sounded desperate.

That's good.

"No, Edward, you stay outside, and today you are not to touch or kiss me. Do you understand me?", I said sternly and grinned like a Cheshire cat and hugged myself.

He would go berserk.

An exasperated groan came from the bedroom.

"Bella ... baby, you can't do this to me. Please!"

"No, Edward, you laughed at me when I stood half-naked in front of your father. That was not funny!" Exactly. Don't weaken. Cheer up and get through it.

"Yes, honey. I'll do anything you say, just please ..."

Fortunately, I wasn't with him, because when he begged, I had a hard time resisting him.

When I went into the bedroom ten minutes later, I saw Edward as he was crouching on his knees on the floor. His hair was even messier. He kept running one hand or both through it and muttering to himself.

"Bella, honey."

He came crawling toward me, on his knees, his hands folded as if in prayer.

"I apologize ... Just please ... I have to touch you, or I'll go crazy."

He looked so distraught, as if Tanya had died.

"BREAKFAST, KIDS! HURRY UP OR THE COFFEE WILL GET COLD!"

"You heard Esmé. Breakfast. Get dressed, I'm going downstairs already."

I smiled at him and blew him a kiss hand.

Today I wanted to work a little more on my new book, so I could avoid Edward. I couldn't resist if he looked at me like that all day - then I would forgive him. Alright, I'm not really mad at him. I actually find it very amusing, and he wouldn't get me around.

Rose and Alice were also already sitting at the table.

"Morning," I threw into the mix.

"Where's my baby, Bella?"

Esmé kissed me on the cheek.

"He just needs to get dressed."

I smiled at her.

There was a loud thump on the stairs and Emmett came rushing in, grinning.

"Am I late?"

"No, Emmett, sit down."

Esmé poured him coffee.

My stricken Honey Bunny came down the stairs with a funereal expression that dwarfed everything. He sat down next to me and looked at me out of the corner of his eye.

I smiled.

"My baby, are you okay? You look awful."

Esmé stroked over his cheek and kissed him on the same. He shook his head and said nothing.

Carlisle grinned at me.

Oh yes, I almost forgot - and blushed.

When asked anything, Edward would answer only what was necessary.

Yes ... No ... Mmm... That was all.

"I'm going to go to the hardware store later and get a few odds and ends," Emmett announced.

Rose moaned.

"Do you want me to come with you?", Carlisle asked.

"Sure you can," he said, eating his fifth roll.

"What do you want to buy?"

Alice looked at him curiously.

"You'll see. My craftsmanship is legendary."

Rose moaned again.

"He wants to build a crib. Imagine that. He ..."

Rosalie looked at him and suppressed a laugh.

"Only the best for my baby."

And he stuffed half of the sixth roll into his mouth.

"What tools do you have, Edward?", he mumbled with his mouth full.

"Shed," was all that came in response.

Emmett said nothing about Edward's behavior. But if he was enthusiastic about it, nothing else mattered anyway.

Alice and Rose looked at me and I just grinned.

'Later,' I silently formed with my mouth.

They nodded.

"I'm going to go. I've got some work to do on my new book."

I stood up and kissed my crestfallen Honey Bunny on the cheek. He looked at me beamingly and reached out his hand, but I shook my head.

I am allowed to touch him, but he is not allowed to touch me.

His smile died.

Quickly away, before I still get soft.

I booted up the computer and searched for the file.

Let's see where I was, and I started reading two pages early to get back into it ...

Book

"It's not like you've ever tried," he said. "When he left you, you spent all your energy trying to hold on to him. If you let him go, you could be happy. With me."

"I don't want to be happy with anyone but him," I said.

"You will never be able to count on him the way you count on me. He already left you once, he might do it again."

"No," I said through clenched teeth.

The pain of the memory hit me like a whip. It hurt so much that I wanted to take revenge.

"You've left me before, too," I said in a cold voice, thinking of the weeks when he'd been hiding from me, of what he'd told me in the woods by his house ...

Oh yes. Here I was, - and read on.

I was working and sinking into my own world until I heard a knock at the door.

"Bella?"

Edward. I looked at the clock - not an hour.

"Yes, what is it?"

I put on a neutral face.

Strength ... Bella, I admonished myself.

"Can I come in?"

"Sure."

He opened the door and his tormented face appeared.

"Bella, honey, don't be mad at me anymore. Please!"

He looked at me pleadingly.

"I'm not mad at you ... maybe a little. And it's only today. Tomorrow you may touch me again," I said, looking into his anguished face. He had to go, or I would throw everything overboard and throw myself into his arms. "I have some work to do and then I'll be upstairs, okay?"

I had to look at the monitor to avoid his gaze.

"Okay," it came sadly, and he closed the door.

Phew ...! I really wouldn't have lasted much longer. The main thing is that I can accomplish this all day long. Where was I? Oh yes ...

Book

"Gee whiz," Charlie said as we pulled onto the driveway.

The two trees at the beginning were not the only ones that were illuminated. Every five meters, another tree of lights led us up to the big white house. All the way, for three miles.

"I guess she doesn't do things by halves, huh?" Charlie asked, impressed.

"Are you sure you don't want to come inside?"

"Definitely not. Have fun."

"Thanks, Dad."

He laughed to himself as I got out and slammed the door. I watched him drive away, still grinning. Sighing, I walked up the stairs to endure the party over me.

"Bella, Honey, lunch is ready."

Esmé stuck her head in.

"I'm coming. That's enough for today," I replied and saved everything and shut down the computer.

I massaged my nape.

It was really enough today.

"Do you know what's wrong with my baby? He's been sitting upstairs on the sofa for hours, not moving."

She was worried.

"He laughed at me, and I told him he couldn't touch me all day," I explained to her.

"What did you do to make him laugh at you?"

I knew this question was coming.

"That's ... um ... well ... personal," I stammered evasively.

"Aha ... My poor little baby, but I guess he'll have to go through it. He's so delicate and vulnerable. Don't be too hard on him, Bella."

She looked at me urgently.

I nodded and grinned.

"I get to touch him."

She laughed and shook her head, muttering something about 'kids these days'.

When we arrived in the living room, my little delicate fragile Honey Bunny - as Esmé had said - was sitting on the sofa. I felt a little sorry for him.

No mercy, Bella, I admonished myself. Man, that was hard.

Rose and Alice stood at the window looking out and laughing.

I went to them and looked outside.

In the backyard, it looked like a small carpentry shop. Emmett and Carlisle were sawing and hammering away. Jake was in the middle of it all.

"What is Jake doing?", I asked the two of them.

"He's been bleating around the whole time, and Emmett let him out to help him focus."

Rose laughed.

I noticed Edward moving to stand behind me. He sighed softly.

"Edward, why don't you help them a little?"

I looked at him questioningly and he nodded.

I felt more and more sorry for him, so I kissed him lightly on the lips.

A small smile stole onto his lips, and he sighed again, but he went outside and joined the hardworking craftsmen.

"What's wrong with him?", Rose asked.

I explained everything to them, and they had to laugh when I mentioned Carlisle. I gave them a nasty look and they fell silent.

It was always funnier in retrospect.

I chuckled.

Still, it was embarrassing.

"If this had happened to me ..."

Rose chuckled and Alice and I joined in.

"Come on, let's help Esmé with lunch."

Unanimous nod and we went to the kitchen.

"Can we help?"

"Set the table, children. Everything else is ready," said Esmé, stirring in a pot.

"What's up?", Rosalie asked.

"Barley soup."

Yikes.

"This is my baby's favorite food. He's not having an easy time today and I wanted to make him happy."

She grinned mischievously.

"Barley soup?", Rose and Alice moaned together.

"For those who don't like barley soup, I made cabbage rolls."

Yummy, my absolute favorite.

"Thank you Esmé," I said from the bottom of my heart.

"Not for cooking, honey."

And she continued to stir. My Esmé - and I hugged her.

"It's good to have you guys here."

I loved the both of them adorably.

"Always do, you know that."

She kissed my cheek.

She could really get on your last nerve, but I loved her.

A cry made us wince. He came out of the garden, and we rushed into the living room.

Emmett yanked open the patio door and screamed, "WE NEED AN AMBULANCE! IMMEDIATELY!"
