Pietro looked down at the terrified Faunus. "It's okay," He soothed. "Don't worry. It'll be over soon. You'll feel better soon." He said as he nodded.

The healer injected the sedative.

The Faunus slowly drifted off to sleep as Pietro and the Healer watched in sympathy.

They waited five minutes before Pietro checked and nodded.

The healer took a second syringe and found the Femoral artery. He swabbed the area and injected the contents of the syringe into the artery and walked around to inject another syringe.

By the time he was done the first leg looked like it was dying. "We'll wait another twenty minutes before amputating the limb," He explained to Pietro.

"Damn," Pietro swore. "I can't believe that people of science and healing would do this to other people."

"They don't see Faunus as people," The healer said. "To them, they See Faunus as exploitable. They can do whatever they want and get away with it."

"It's not right."

"No, it's not. That's why we have to fix it and be better than them."

Pietro nodded.

"We can begin," The healer said.

"Let us begin Grey," Pietro nodded.

Grey took the bone saw and cut through the flesh and bone until the leg had been amputated. He then took the Prosthetic that Geoff and Viridian had made and lined it up with the stump before sliding it up and over the stump.

Grey took a breath and activated the mender, fusing the flesh and bone to the metal of the Prosthetic. This was the most important and tense part of the operation. If the patient woke up during the operation she would wake up in agony. The agony of her flesh and bone being fused to metal.

He moved over to the other leg and did the same thing, hoping that she would remain unconscious while the mender fused her stump to the Prosthetic.

Fortunately, she remained unconscious, and they moved her to a spare bed.

"Good work Grey," Pietro said. "We can work on her hands after she's acclimated to her new legs. Let's get the next one in here."

"Right," Grey Said as He took the dead legs towards the incinerator. Throwing them in, he walked outside to grab the next Faunus they could help.

With a shudder, he walked into the room where the Faunus tried getting away from him. It broke his heart to see people in this kind of situation.

He picked one up and carried them inside the O.R. Hoping they could be forgiven for what they were forced to do.

Jason, Weiss, and Whitley walked up the snow-covered steps to Schnee manor. When they walked in, they saw Willow waiting for them, she had been crying.

Jason sniffed the air and caught a hint of something. Willow Schnee had been Sober for several weeks now, but this could cause her to relapse.

"Mother?" Weiss asked.

Willow straightened before she waved Weiss and Whitley over.

Weiss and Whitley walked over, and Willow told them something.

"NO!" Weiss said. "NO! No, no, no, no, no, no!" She held her hands to her mouth. "No!" She sobbed.

Whitley looked around, letting his anger known by venting it through his Aura.

Jason walked over to the family and Weiss buried her head in his chest. "What's wrong?" Jason asked.

"Winter is dead." Willow sniffed, wiping her eyes. "Her last word was Jacques."

"Do you think that Jacques killed her?"

"Not directly, but it is possible."

"Let me get Weiss home, do you want Whitley to stay here with you?"

"No. I'd like him where he's safe, and he's safest with you."

"Very well. Do you want to come with us?"

"No. I'll stay here."

"I think it would hurt Weiss and Whitley if they lost you too."

"If that is how I pay for marrying Jacques, then so be it."

"Okay. I'll respect your decision, but I don't think Weiss and Whitley will be able too."

"If you want to stop me, then find Jacques, and stop him."

Jason nodded and led Weiss and Whitley back to Todd manor. When they arrived Weiss and Whitley looked at Jason.

"Seriously?" Weiss asked. "Seriously?"

"What?" Jason asked.

"You Fake Winters death, blame it on Jacques and make my mother endure it all without telling her the truth!?"

"I wasn't going to let Winter tell anyone that we were hiding the Faunus. That would just cause more trouble."

Whitley looked at Jason. "Was it really necessary for me to act like that?"

"Did you want to sell it?"

"Yes."

"Then Yes."

"Well, what do we do Now?" Weiss asked.

Jason cut a portal in the air and motioned for them to follow as he walked through.

Winter was helping Penny Polendina Move boxes in the storage rooms to make more room and look for supplies the others needed.

"We need Sewing kits, stuffed animals, and blankets." Penny reminded for the third time.

Winter sighed and took in a deep, calming breath. "I am aware Miss Polendina."

"Have you heard from Marrow?" Penny asked. "He's been working with Miss Anya Belle since he got here."

"I see. I haven't spoken to him yet because I've only been here a few days, and this place is big."

"It is, but Jason has ordered me not to tell you because if you were to be captured then you might be tortured for the information you know and that would put everyone here at risk and Jason would have to slaughter Atlas and Mantle without mercy."

"Jason would really do it, wouldn't he?"

"I believe so. From the stories I've heard, Jason killed a church of the Light Father and Dark Mother while in Argus. He did so very brutally in order to save the victims and destroy places that tortured them for the sake of being born with the wrong Semblance."

"He would definitely destroy Atlas to save the people here."

"Yes, and you are one of those people. Marrow too."

Winter thought about that. Jason was technically imprisoning her, but at the same time, he was protecting her.

She grabbed a box of stuffed animals when she smelled ozone in the air. Turning around she saw Weiss and Whitley exit through a portal.

"Brother," she nodded. "Sister."

Jason stepped through the portal.

"Jason," Winter nodded.

"Winter," Jason nodded back. "Penny. Let's give them some space."

"Alright Jason." Penny said as she followed him out of the storage room.

"How's your dad doing?" He asked as they left.

"Why did you let Jason convince you to die?" Weiss asked.

"What did he make you do?" Winter asked.

"We had to mourn your death. In front of Mother."

"How did he say I died?"

"Your final word was Jacques," Whitley explained.

Winter groaned as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Why would he do that? Does anyone believe that?"

"You're the one who said it, you're dead, so yeah."

"What happens if Jacques finds out?" Weiss asked.

"He'll go to prison I guess."

"Did Jason Plan That?" Whitley asked.

"My Jason?" Weiss asked. "The Same Jason who was once a Murder hobo, but is now a more well-balanced individual?"

"You call this well balanced?" Winter motioned around them.

"Yes! Do you know what he was like six months ago?"

"I recall him being violent and nearly rabid."

"So, is he different now than he was then?"

"I suppose so."

"He's definitely changed since he first showed up in Atlas," Whitely said. "When he first showed up, he had this tense calm to him. Now he has a relaxed confidence to him."

Winter and Weiss thought about that for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"Is it true that Jason wiped out two churches in Argus?" Winter asked.

"Yes." Weiss Held her stomach at the memory of Jason tearing through the Church of the Light Father members like they were nothing more than wet tissue paper.

"It was that bad?"

"I know what a human heart looks like," Weiss covered her mouth to keep herself from losing the contents of her stomach.

"Jason is very brutal when it comes to protecting people," Whitley added. "Though I don't know if I'm much better. I did kill those two who wanted to kill you and take your Semblance."

"Who WHAT!?" Winter yelled.

"There were there two that wanted to kill Weiss and take her Semblance," Whitley explained. "So, I killed them."

Winter facepalmed. What was her family coming too?

Jason and Penny walked through the halls of Beacon II. Penny was talking about anything, everything, and nothing.

"...and while the game was fun, they asked me not to play anymore because they said that I can't really control my own strength, which isn't true. I CAN control my own strength, I really can!"

"There's a difference between being able to control your strength and actually controlling your strength," Jason said.

"What do you mean?"

"How do people describe me?"

"I've heard people say that you are a loaded gun, and Weiss is the safety."

"What else?"

"Gale said that you tend to terminate with extreme prejudice."

"I don't think Gale actually knows what that means. I think he heard it from a movie and thought it sounded cool."

"What does it mean?"

"To terminate with Extreme prejudice means to kill as quietly and with as little collateral damage as possible."

"Oh," Penny said, understanding dawning. "That's not you at all."

"No, not it's not. Roman Torchwick once described me as the unholy spawn of a Freight Train and a Ballerina."

"That's not possible. For one thing, a freight train and a ballerina aren't biologically or anatomically compatible. For another thing, you..."

"He didn't mean it like that. He was saying that I have the destructive power of a freight train and the dexterity of a ballerina."

"Oh. I can see why he would say that. I do not know if I would be able to hold my own against you, and I am an artificial person with a soul."

"I'm sure you'd do fine."

"Would you be willing to spar with me?" Penny asked, tapping her index fingers together nervously.

"Sure." Jason Said. "Pick the Arena, and we can spar."

"Thank you!" Penny cheered as she ran off to find an appropriate sparring Arena.

Jason could only smile as she left.

Jaune and Pyrrha were in the game room when Yang and Scott bolted in, and Yang hooked her Scroll into the viewing screen.

"What's going on?" Jaune asked.

"Jason and Penny are sparring!" Yang cheered.

"How is that fair for Penny?" Jaune asked. "Why not have Jason and Scott spar?"

"Because we want a building that's still standing afterwards." Yang said. "Besides. I hear that Penny wanted the spar."

The image came into Focus, and they saw Jason and Penny standing in a Ring with Jaune on Penny's side of the ring giving her an Aura Boost with his Semblance.

"Penny," Jason said through the screen. "If you want a chance to beat me, you'll need to go all out from the beginning; don't hold anything back, give it your all."

"Oh my," Penny said. "Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you."

"Yes. Go all out, or I'll win."

"Okay," Penny nodded. "I am combat Ready."

"Begin!" A voice shouted.

Penny shot forward like a rocket and punched Jason so hard they saw air distort around him before he was sent flying, he disappeared into his shadow and appeared out of Penny's shadow, falling into her.

"Gotta keep up." Jason said as he spun around her and kicked her towards the barrier with a resounding *CLANG!*

"Oof." Yang winced. "That had to hurt."

"She's getting up!" Jaune shouted.

Penny stood up and charged Jason before she flipped and grabbed him by his shirt and threw him into the barrier.

Jason activated his boosters and blasted into Penny.

Penny dropped her Swords and used them as anchors to stop their momentum and slingshot Jason back before wrapping him in the cables from her swords.

Jason smiled at Penny and charged her, only for her to move out of the way.

Jason spun, pulling the cables taut and flinging Penny, Penny spun counter to Jason's pull and landed in a superhero landing.

"Sorry," Jason Said. "But This ends now." He grabbed Penny's shadow and threw her out of bounds.

"Called it." Jaune said. "It's not that Penny isn't good, but Jason is on a whole other level than her."

"There's more!" Yang yelled.

"You did good," Jason said. "Do you have a Semblance? Did you not use it because it was too destructive?"

"No, I do not have a Semblance," Penny admitted.

"Do you want one?"

"How?"

"I have a few. I can give you one of those."

"Are you sure? How?"

"Yes, I'm sure, I have the ability to take Semblance's from People who aren't using them for their intended purposes. It's an Alpha Ability. I have access to another Alpha Ability from an Alpha past life Whose Semblance was the ability to transfer Semblances taken."

"I see. Then I accept, so long as my father is willing to let me do this."

"Then I suggest we go talk to Pietro."

"Holy shit!" Scott Said. "Jason can Transfer Semblances!"

"I wonder how many he has?" Jaune asked.

"He has taken a few, and I'm sure that he took a few from the church of the Light Father and Dark Mother That we don't know about," Pyrrha said.

"Let's go," Yang decided. "We can see what Semblances he has and see what one Penny gets."

A portal opened and the group walked inside to where Jason and Penny were walking To Pietro's Office.

Knocking, they waited a moment before Pietro opened the door, looking tired.

"Father?" Penny asked. "Are you okay?"

"Yes," Pietro said. "Just a little tired is all. I just need some rest before going back to the infirmary. We've gotten through maybe a third of the Faunus so far. It's been slow going, but it's for a good cause. What can I help you with."

"Jason wanted to transfer a Semblance over to me," Penny Explained.

"Can you do that?" Pietro asked. "How? What Semblance? Why?"

"Yeah," Yang Said. "Don't leave us in suspense."

"I have an Alpha Ability to take Semblances and an Alpha Ability to give Semblances. As for the Semblances I have and the Semblances I can give away..." Jason took out his Scroll and looked through the Semblances he had and showed the group. "The ones in Green are ones I can give away, the ones in red are ones that I either can't or won't."

Can't give away

Penumbra Barrage

Lazarus

Mukade

Kindred Link

Venom

Puppet Master

Brass Knuckles

Hypnotic

Confession

Contagion

Can give away

Stockpile

Multiple Personality

Cloak

Nerve

Vertigo

Parrot

Harness

Lightning Strike

Signature Move

Frog

The group looked at the Semblances Jason had Acquired.

"Where did you get these?" Pietro asked.

"Before Argus I only had five," he pointed at:

Penumbra Barrage

Lazarus

Mukade

Kindred Link

Venom

"After I got to Argus though. I took a lot, especially after the Church of the Light Father and Dark Mother..." he shuddered at the memories.

"So, why do you have them divided into ones Penny can have and one's Penny can't have?" Scott asked.

"The ones she can't have are either part of my fighting style or are too dangerous to use, so I won't let them be used."

"Oh," Penny said. "That makes sense."

Pietro looked at the list. "Are you sure about this? Are there any negative side effects? Will it clash Penny's coding or personality?"

"I don't think it should. I have twenty Semblances and they haven't affected me, but that could be an Alpha thing."

"Can you take it back if it has negative side effects?"

"Yes."

"Then I'm okay with it."

Penny looked at the list. "What do each of them do?"

• Stockpile allows you to stockpile your Aura into Aura blasts.

Multiple Personality gives you different personalities each personality has a different ability to go with it.

Cloak allows you to shroud yourself in Aura cutting yourself off from all forms of being observed. You can't be seen, smelled, felt(in the metaphysical sense of being felt.), tasted (in the Metaphysical sense of being tasted), or heard.

Nerve has two properties. You can unnerve your opponent or boost yourself so you can't be unnerved as easily.

Vertigo causes your opponent to feel the effects of Vertigo.

Parrot Allows you to use the last move used by a person whether that be physical move, Semblance ability, Aura ability, whatever. The last thing an opponent did you can do too.

Harness allows you to Harness the elemental aspect of Dust, Aura, or a Semblance.

Lightning Strike Allows you to throw Lightning bolts at opponents.

Signature Move Allows you to do some epic finishing move that is based on your personality, Aura, Dust, etc...

"What's your Signature Move?" Penny asked.

"I Grab the shadows of everyone around me, pull them into my personal space and slam them into each other."

"Then why not keep it?"

"Because. I could already do that before I got the Semblance. Why do I need a Semblance for something I can already do?"

"Oh. That makes sense. What about Frog?"

Frog allows you to summon a Frog. That's it. It's like mine and Weiss's Semblance, but specifically for a frog.

"Oh. Okay," Penny said.

"What do your other Semblances Pyrrha asked.

Penumbra Barrage gives me near total control of the shadow's. I can create shadow clones of nearly everyone. There is a limit, however. If I create ten shadow clones of Jaune, then his Semblance is divided between those ten clones. I can also travel through the shadows. I can grab a person's shadow and use it against them. I can turn the shadows themselves into my weapons. Use the shadows as weapons or use it as a storage space. I've given each of you a Shadow clone that you can use as a storage space or even communicate with me via the shadow clones.

"That's kind of overpowered," Yang said. "Do you Even need any more Semblances?"

"I can also transport others through my shadows making it a transport Semblance as well. Cliff told me that there's a Semblance chart that tells you if your Semblance is one of like six different Semblance types. I can't remember them, but maybe I'll remember them some day."

"What next?" Penny asked.

Lazarus makes it so that I can't die under normal circumstances. That's why Winter is able to stab me in the chest and I won't die.

"So, you're fucking immortal on top of everything else," Scott deadpanned.

"Yup. The Tradeoff is that I feel a great deal of pain when coming back. I usually shut off my Sense of touch Because of it."

"I would too," Yang said. "And my Semblance gets stronger the more pain I endure."

"Yes," Scott said. "We all know about your..." he was cut off as Yang swung down and hit him in the balls hard enough to drop him.

"Continue," Yang Said.

Mukade Allows me to cause pain with a single touch. I won't give it away because of that very reason.

"Good," Pietro said. "That Sounds like a horrible Semblance."

"It is. A man used it to hurt his family because he felt that it was his only way out of a shitty existence."

"BULLSHIT!" Yang and Scott shouted in unison. "That's no reason to do that to his family!"

"I agree, and I took his Semblance. It was mine and Weiss's first big argument since my arrival in Atlas... we separated for a week."

"Yikes," Scott said. "That Must have been brutal."

"It was. We vowed to never fight like that again."

"So that's why you guys are so close now," Yang said.

"Oh yes. It couldn't be the fact that she's pregnant," Scott snarked. "That couldn't possibly have anything to do with it."

"I'm about to ding dong ditch your nuts again," Yang smiled a smile that froze the blood in Scott and Jason's veins.

"Eep," Scott said as he backed away.

"What's your next Semblance?" Jaune asked.

Kindred Link allows me to create a portal to anyone that I have a strong enough bond with.

"So, it's Raven's Semblance." Yang said.

"Yes. I took it from her when I killed two thirds of her tribe and the person, she left Tai for."

"Wait!" Yang snapped. "Raven left dad for someone else!"

"Yeah. Some woman named Vidal or Vadal or something; I ripped her head off and dropped it next to Raven's feet before burning a third of her tribe with fire Dust and freezing another third with ice Dust before shattering them with a pressure wave."

"Good," Yang said coldly.

"Why did you kill this Vidal woman so brutally?" Scott asked. "Surly it wasn't necessary."

"Ya know, I've asked myself that a lot, and I don't really have a good reason for it except that I thought it was the best way to hurt Raven after everything she'd done. She abandoned Tai and Yang, she kept sending them poisoned cookies, she was a terrible human being, she was a bandit. I just didn't think that she deserved to die, but I felt that she deserved to suffer."

"That's dark dude. Everyone is the hero of their own story."

"Then I'll be the villain in the story of everyone like Raven."

"Even if ten percent of the people of Remnant are as bad if not worse than Raven, that's still a lot."

"Then I guess it's a good thing I have a Semblance that can handle those kind of numbers, isn't it?"

"Speaking of Semblance..." Jaune said. "What do the other Semblances do?"

Venom Allows me to make myself stronger. It's a Semblance that buffs me up.

"And I still want to fight you with it active," Scott said.

"After this."

Puppet Master Allows me to make people under its influence believe whatever the fuck I want them to believe. If I want Pyrrha to believe that she is horny as hell and only Jaune can satisfy her lust, guess who's losing their virginity?

"Wait for their wedding to use it," Yang teased.

"I won't use it. Even if Loki and Coral made me promise to never use it, I wouldn't. It's too dangerous."

"Yes," Pyrrha agreed. "It is."

"Emerald's mom used it to make Pyrrha a championship fighter in the hopes of getting her to date her... son? Daughter? Child? Whatever, and when Pyrrha denied her child, she used it on her family and fans in Argus to hate Pyrrha."

"Dick!" Yang and Scott snapped in unison.

"Jinx!" They yelled in unison.

"Double Jinx!"

"Triple Jinx!"

"Quadruple Jinx!"

"Quin..." They were cut off when their shadows covered their mouths.

"Yes. That is why I won't use it and won't give it away. It's too dangerous to be used."

"What if you need it?" Pyrrha asked.

"That will be a Dark day indeed."

"Drama Queen!" Yang yelled.

"Next is:"

Brass Knuckles This makes my fists harder than anything so long as my Aura is active. I would have given it to Yang or Scott if it didn't fit with my unarmed combat fighting style.

"It sounds like a good Semblance though," Yang Agreed.

"I agree," Scott added.

Hypnotic is another Semblance that I won't use or give away because I can literally make people faint or make them fight. It's too dangerous.

"But you could use it on an opponent very effectively," Pyrrha said.

"Too effectively, and what happens when I just use it on whoever I feel like? I could hurt someone if I used it."

They all bowed their heads in realization as to why he wouldn't use it. It would be too easy to abuse.

Confession makes a person under its influence tell the truth. It's an Area of Effect Semblance. It has its uses."

"I'll say," Jaune said.

"Do you know how many people would kill for a Semblance like that?" Scott asked.

"Yes. I stole it from a Church of the Light Father priest on my way out."

"Ironic."

"Lastly is:"

Contagion makes it so that I am a carrier of disease. It's a horrifying Semblance that can never be used."

"I can see the potential though." Scott said. "Where I'm from, there's a legend of a group of Warriors who use pestilence as a way to win wars. They March towards their enemies and let their Pestilence do its job so that when they show up the fight is already over."

"I can see using it on Bandits, but that just feels like absolute power, and it corrupts."

"Hang on." Jaune said. "If you stole that from a patron of one of the churches, how are you not dead?"

"The Alpha told me to take the Semblance before they could use it. They could sense its destructive nature. So, I took it."

"Oh. Okay."

"So, Penny. Have you decided on which Semblance you want?"

"I can't decide between Stockpile, Parrot, or Harness," Penny said. "They all seem to have good synergy with me."

"Penny," Pietro said. "As your father, I want you to be happy, and I feel that right now, Stockpile would be the most useful Semblance for you. It would allow you to reserve some energy and could potentially give you a near unlimited supply of energy... if I understood correctly. You wouldn't need to recharge."

"Huh," Jason thought. "I didn't even think about that."

"Then I choose Stockpile!" Penny decided.

Jason's hand glowed with electric white energy, and he held it out to Penny. "Take my hand, it'll feel weird for a few minutes, but afterwards you'll have yourself a Semblance."

Penny took Jason's hand and felt energy course through her body until she felt power coursing through her body. She looked at Jason and activated Stockpile for the first time.

The hair on everyone's bodies stood on end and Penny began absorbing ambient Aura energy from the air. When it was full, she let it recharge her. "Wow," she said. "This feels amazing."

"If it starts to feel like there's too much charge," Jason explained "Blast out bolts of energy to keep yourself from overheating or exploding."

"I'll do that!" Penny said.

"Now," Scott Said. "If You're done, I think it's time for a rematch."

"Ready to get your ass kicked again."

"It won't be like the last two times." Scott declared, pulling his hand into a fist with determination. "I've gotten stronger since abandoning my need for vengeance. Justice is the only boon I need. Through Justice I will prevail."

"Wow," Jason said. "And I thought I was a Drama Queen."

"Let me get my armor," Scott said.

"I'll grab Geoff," Jason said. "Someone needs to keep you alive after I kick your ass."

"Yeah right," Scott said. "It's a good thing that Weiss is here so she can carry your ass back to Atlas when I destroy it."

"Ooh," Yang cooed. "So scandalous. I can't believe this turned into a porno."

"Shut the fuck up Yang!" Jason snapped.

"Only Scott can do that. There's only one way that works."

Jason opened a portal and stuck his head through. "Hey Geoff! Get your ass down here! I'm about to kick Scott's ass and I think you want to see how well the armor holds up to a brutal onslaught!"

"Coming!" Geoff yelled, grabbing the 'Junkers Toolkit', jumping through the portal. "Where's th' Fight takin' place?"

"The only place that can withstand the fight is the wasteland," Jason said. "Let's go."

The group followed Jason, Scott, and Geoff out to the wasteland as Scott came back, sliding his left glove on, connecting it to the armor before putting his helmet on with a resounding *click*.
