Cast into a fight, against a foe known by many as the hopping mad master of stealth, the human was...confused. Chara staring at the strange frog, wondering why she was filled with a sense of danger. Namely, seeing violent intent, or sensing it within the monster.
"S-see, this is why we're meant to wait. At least she's safer then them for you." Flowey huffed. "Whatever, it's a Froggit. Dangerous, but manageable."
"A what?" She asked, as its head tilted. "why does that sound familiar?"
"Chara...focus for a minute. You see that-" The flower motioned to the purple heart flowing out of her. "That is your soul. Also known as the very culmination of your being. They want it, you have it. Don't get hit, don't get injured, or you'll die. Those are the basics."
"O-okay, but I knew all that?" She reasoned, while grasping the stick. "Why is it fighting me?"
The fight had begun however, and there was much less time to talk. The Froggit appearing to have become annoyed by their continued ignoring of it, up to that point, had hopped closer. Battle music began to play in Charas head, something she felt would be appropriate for whatever odd trouble she had gotten herself into now.

Chara used Act - Check
Following the determination of what she wished to do, Chara felt something peculiar. Her soul seeming to shine some, a sense of awareness reaching her. She became aware of what Flowey was capable of doing.
The light seemed to interact with him, the Flower clearly noticing. With her action chosen, and the world seeming to slow. It appeared his was next, the girl wondering for a moment if she could...make him do something?
|Flowey - 12/12 HP|

Act -
|Check | - |F-Action| - |Intimidate|
Flowey was compelled to Intimidate.
The flower blinked, and seemed to shake some as things progressed. A strange sensation rushing through him. Like a whisper, like Chara's voice in his head, despite her lips not moving. Compelling him to take an action, to try and intimidate the toad.
He didn't know what she had done, but he was less than pleased with it. However, that would be something to handle later. The flower growling in the instance, as Chara checked the Froggit.
Froggit - A dangerous little toad, that's been through quite a lot. While not strong on its own, one should be careful. Those who want to be seen as tough, may do something reckless.
Flowey growled. "Hey, idiot. You'd better hop along and leave." His expression darkened. "Or you'll end up dust in the corner." - Froggit didn't understand, but was intimidated anyways.
The Froggit followed this up by pouncing at them, in particular at Chara. She actually didn't expect it, and tried to pull to the side, unable to dodge the tackle. The froggit slamming into her gut, causing her to stagger back, a strange pain flowing between both her and Flowey, the pair wincing. The damage seeming to be shared.
More than ready for the second attack, she side-stepped it, avoiding another rush. Flowey leaning out of the way of the frog, as it targeted him with a third pounce. Landing against a wall in-between these motions.
"W-what was that!?" Flowey asked in alarm, and anger.
Chara could sense how durable he was, and how durable she was. In truth, neither was really a lot in the moment, prompting a huff from her. She reasoned he would probably need to defend himself somehow, or maybe try to dive in the ground...maybe that'd help?
"S-sorry-" She apologized. "I didn't expect it."
"How could you n-ugh, whatever, just...if we beat it down, maybe it'll go away?" Flowey offered.
"Maybe." Chara replied hesitant to the idea.

Chara decided to try and Intimidate her foe.
|Flowey - 9/12 HP|
|Fight| |Act| |Item| |Escape|
|ACT| -
|Check | - |F-Action| - |Intimidate| - |Avoid|
Flowey chose to Avoid.
Chara giggled. "Was that the best you could do?" She smiled, eyes growing darker. "Do you really think you're scary-" She unwrapped one of her arms, revealing the burns. "doing so little damage?" - The Froggit understood. And it was intimidated.
Flowey meanwhile worked to prepare himself in an attempt to avoid the strange sharing damage, thing.
The Froggit responded by croaking some, generating dozens of strange butterfly like things around itself. They surged forward. Flowey diving beneath the soil, as Chara side-stepped several with ease.
Only noticing after the others winding, swinging around. She leaned back, avoiding almost everyone. One adapting, seeking, and impacting with her. The sudden sting of it striking her arm, causing her to wince, and stagger back, the attack having concluded.
It didn't do much damage, but is hurt a lot.
Flowey sprouted back up. "Well that worked." He muttered, adding. "Chara, you're gonna have to fight it."
She huffed at that statement, reluctantly agreeing, at least internally, that he was probably right. Its general bravado, and inherently hostile aura was gone, but it hadn't exactly backed off. She didn't really know what else to do at this point, the dull aches making it all the harder to thing.
Chara chose to Fight.
Flowey chose to Fight.
Starting things, Flowey materialized several little white pellets at his side, steadily making more. Chara meanwhile rushed towards the frog with what remained of the stick. It went to move, only to find the pellets forming a barrier around it. A swing following this, and before it could move, she made contact. A few bits of it breaking, the froggit croaking in pain.
The remainder of the pellets began moving in, as she leapt back, a few parting so she wouldn't be grazed, letting her through. The Froggit responding to the incoming wall by leaping up catching the pair in surprise as it latched to the ceiling. The froggit making an angry croak.
With a sudden motion it pounced towards her, the girl diving to the side to avoid it, rolling, and shaking in the pain the motion caused. Stumbling as she tried to get up, Chara was promptly tackled, as it darted against her with its second jump. Leaping up and away, as both she and the flower, winced in pain.
It came back for a final attack, however, she rolled to the side avoiding it, while scrambling back to her feet once more. Getting distance between herself, and it. The trinity spaced out a bit from one another, at this point.
"Chara, I have an idea. Let me...act on my own this time, okay?" The Flower requested.
"Okay?" She responded.
Chara continued to Fight.
Flowey chose to act Act, and used F-Action.
The Flower focused and the ground began to move a little. Chara rushing at the Froggit once more, as it tried to hop and avoid. However, it was far too slow, and she brought the stick slashing down at it. Doing some damage as it croaked again. It attempted to generate more of the strange butterflies, firing them at her. Only for vines to rise from the ground, forming a barrier, tanking the hits for her.
She hadn't expected such a thing but noticed them break after a single hit. Prompting her to dodge all the same. Thankfully with less of the magical attacks to deal with, it was much easier to avoid them this time.
"That was awesome!" She remarked.
"A little...tiring, but...thanks." Flowey replied, adding. "That froggit...it looks weak."
|Chara - 5/20 HP|
|Fight| |Act| |Item| |Mercy|
Chara used Mercy - Spare.
Flowey used Intimidate.
"You'd better run-" Flowey warned. "or hasn't it gotten through yet?" He grinned evilly. "You're just free xp."
The Froggit seemed terrified, and no longer wanted to fight. With this, Chara stopped, and motioned for it to run off, her soul shining, the light briefly glistening in the Froggits eyes. The monster glancing at them both briefly.
"Didn't you hear him, get out of here." She said, looking irritated at its inaction.
The Froggit looked where she was pointing, and then, hopped away as fast as it could. Dropping some G in the process.
"Serves you right, jerk." Flowey huffed indignantly, glancing at one of his dinged up petals.
With the fight over, Chara grinned a little, despite seeming wobbly. "Wait a minute...Flowey, we won!"
"Using strange means, I don't understand." Flowey muttered, before he picked up the G. "Eh, at least we got 5 G out of it."
"Heck yeah!" She exclaimed, stumbling, and catching herself with the stick. "You were so cool, petals!"
"T-thanks, but ugh, please not petals. That's a terrible nickname." He groaned. "It's just Flowey."
"Hmm...well, since we won, I'll leaf you be." She punned, while taking a moment to start bandaging her arm again.
His expression turned truly neutral. "How...dare." He remarked, as she began to snicker. "You're impossible, you know that?"
"I do my best." She replied, feeling rather confident in their ability to catch up to Toriel.
