Since it's upcoming content I'm fine with spoilers, but I'll tell you this-I just finished writing chapter 7, and I was planning for Hestia to have a mind chat with Persia (since she lives in the lake and Hestia is a hearth goddess who can!t breathe water. She doesn't have her own tent because she hasn't officially been indicted into the hunt…which is one of the key things that pissed her off last chapter).
BUT just as I was planning on how Persia should have this 'chat' with Hestia, Sparten24 reviewed: Can Persia have more interactions with Hestia since she's technically her mother now.
I swear bro, you read my mind. Love you :3
In all seriousness, yes. Also, please review so that I know what to improve/ what I'm doing well and you'd like to be kept in my writing.
Anyway hope you enjoy the chapter. And thanks for the dope support y'all are giving me.
That was, until someone deep in the forest screamed in a feminine voice, and Artemis felt distress and panic sent by one of her oldest hunters.
And then the lake exploded.
—
Persia was mildly annoyed at herself…and her mother, who was talking to her via a mental link.
Why? Because her mother was the goddess of the hearth who couldn't breath in water, and she was currently sitting in a lake.
(Bold= Hestia, Normal= Persia)
Percy. You can't just avoid the hunt forever though.
But mom…
I get it, you want Artemis to come to you and tell you herself that she's sorry. But she Dan's do it with you avoiding her-
She's just going to lie though!
She won't. She came to the hearth today and was crying. I could sense her regret and sorrow from a mile away.
I-but-but she doesn't! She acts so cold around me-
You don't know what she's gone through after you left. She felt anger at first, yes, but you pointed out her flaws. She knows she's at fault and she's sorry for it. Please, give her a chance.
Fine.
Persia…I know this will be hard. If you need to, take a few days off, I'll give you missions so you can leave. But in the meantime…please try to forgive Artemis and the hunt. I can feel that they're sorry.
Fine.
As she said goodbye to her mother through their mental link, a dull scream came from above.
That can't be good, she thought as she reached out with her enchanted senses. Her abilities were also enchanted by the large body of water she was currently in…and she stifled back a yelp as she got a grasp of the situation above.
A large group of monsters were closing in on what felt like a hunter.
Even though she didn't like the hunt-bunch of lying bitches-they were, still, in the end, people she pledged herself to. Her sense of loyalty still remained, and gods forbid if it was one of the friendlier hunters like Tracy or Andy…
Willing the water to eject her out of the pool to stun the monsters, she shot up at an incredible speed and exploded out of the surface, quickly tucking into a roll and drawing a spare silver hunting knife she'd taken from the armory. She grimaced-yet another needless reminder of her status in the hunt, an unaccepted maiden serving as Artemis' pleasure doll.
Don't think like that, she chided herself as she sprinted forwards, Hes-mother said to give them a chance.
And I'll do just that…just because it's Artemis and her gang of maidens.
Dashing through some trees, she noticed a figure clad in silver on the ground, Bow discarded and an arm injured, desperately fending off a few hellhounds.
Persia swore under her breath. This was the largest monster pack she'd seen after…well, joining the hunters. Lately, monsters seemed to be wandering around, and weren't really that much of a threat. But a pack like this…
Pushing her thoughts aside, she raced to the hunter's side as she began furiously slashing at Hellhounds that nipped at the hunter's heels. "Go, Go, I'll cover your retreat!" She yelled as a hellhound collapsed and shimmered into golden dust.
Another hellhound jumped at her, and she growled. A single hunting knife isn't very efficient, she thought, plus these knives feel clumsy now for some reason. If only I had something smaller and easier to wield…
Behind her, she heard a crash and turned to find the retreating hunter pinned down by a cyclops, his foot on the hunter's abdomen and a club raised, ready to smash le hunter to a pulp.
Shit! She mentally cursed as she dashed forwards, jumped and rammed the knife full force into the Cyclops' chest. The monstrous humanoid looked at her with a single eye full of disbelief and shock as it toppled backwards, falling onto the ground and dissolved.
But she was already up and running as the hunter began slowly limping away towards safety. Great, it's now one against a fucking pack, she groaned as she picked up a dropped hinting knife and spun it once, before diving back into the fray.
Monsters left and right began howling and collapsing as twin blurs of silver slashed and danced their way through the pack. The wounded hunter, she noticed, was also firing arrows ahead of her, and she smiled gratefully at the hunter…before realizing who it was and stopping in her tracks.
Phoebe?
Guilt was evident on Phoebe's face, but as she noticed her staring, Phoebe quickly steeled her emotions and glared at her before pointing at the monsters with a nocked arrow.
Right. Monsters now, personal feud later, she thought as she turned back around and began running again-
Only to fall flat on her back as a hellhound smashed her to the ground.
Dodging the sharp teeth the hellhounds possessed, she stabbed upwards since, twice, thrice, until the hellhound's whimper was cut off midway and it collapsed. Persia quickly shoved the dissolving beast off her and dodged a cyclops club, before skirting around it's legs and and slashing at it.
As the cyclops crashed down, it looked at her, it's single dark brown eye filled with disbelief before-
Tyson. The cyclops reminded her of Tyson…
She bit back a wave of sadness as she stabbed the monster in it's head and withdrew her knives. She could feel sorry about her predicament and her previous life later. Gripping her knives tightly, she dashed forwards again and her twin knives became silver blurs as they hacked and slashed at the remaining monsters in the pack.
Silver arrows were now sprouting from the monsters as more hunters arrived. Monsters fell in droves, and Persia felt happiness and joy for the first time in weeks. Adrenaline filled her veins, and a small smile spread across her lips as she danced and weaved within the monsters, slashing, stabbing, turning her silver knives into silvery blurs as monsters collapsed and dissolved wherever she danced.
She saw hunters staring at her with open mouths, the rain of silver arrows having all but stopped as they stared at this deadly dance. Within moments, She'd reached the final monster, and with a final stab, the dracaenae collapsed on her twin serpent trunks and dissolved into golden dust.
Surprisingly, Artemis wasn't here yet. The handful of hunters who had gathered looked at her with awe and shame as she stepped forwards. Fishing a note from her pocket, she folded it and stepped over to Phoebe.
"Phoebe." She said curtly, and Phoebe looked up. "P-persia," she said, "I, um, I'm-"
"I know," She replied, raising a hand to cut Phoebe off, "I forgive you."
Phoebe's head shot up as she regarded the demigoddess. "But-"
"I forgive you." She replied firmly, "I know your reasoning, and though I was given a hard time, I'm willing to start over. Just…pass this note over to Milady. I…I need a few days away to…help mother on a mission, if you will."
Phoebe nodded, and she smiled sadly. Mother, I'm good not, can you travel me out of here?
Sure thing, daughter.
An instant later, flames erupted around her, and she found herself standing front of the hearth on Olympus.
—
Artemis was sititng in her tent, her gaze dull and sad, as she sat in her tent.
She was hoping to catch Persia after the battle and plead for forgiveness, but when she reached the area Phoebe reported that Persia had travelled away 'due to a mission for Hestia'.
She had only left behind a note.
Unfolding it, Artemis's emotions began to plummet as she read the note.
"Artemis,
I'm going away for a few days. Mother has a mission for me.
I want you to know that I'm not happy with you, nor the hunt. Still, I'm willing to give you a chance, since I'm pledged to you, and…well, I love you, and I know I can't shy away from those feelings.
I left you a gift. Check the armory tent. My iPod is in there, and a song is saved in it. Listen to it, and think about who I am to you exactly. I'm scared that I don't mean anything to you, and if it is the case…we're better off separated.
I'll see you soon.
Persia"
A tear rolled down her cheek as she folded the note and placed it in her pocket. So Persia really thinks she means nothing to me, she thought, her heart twisting and throbbing painfully. I've hurt her so bad…I should have known when Zoë and Thalia approached me after the incident.
You'll make it up for her. A familiar voice said in her head.
Diana?
Yes, it's me. You've screwed up badly this time, Artemis. It's up to you to make this up for her.
But…how?
Diana was silent.
Diana?
No response.
She sighed. Diana was obviously not helping her with this…but how was she supposed to make up to Persia?
She was never good with human emotions. Even though the hunters were like daughters to her, she still couldn't be herself fully when she was around them, much less others. But now she was supposed to handle what she had with Persia…
She sighed again.
Whatever she had to do, she would make it work.
First though, she'd get into the armory and get Persia's iPod. She must've left something in it that meant something for her…or she'd left a message and she wanted her to hear it.
Walking into the tent, she saw the white object soon enough. The small screen on the pod lit up as she picked it up.
"Strong swimmer," she mused, flipping open the lid. Of course Persia's song of choice had to be about water too.
Walking back into her tent, she zipped the tent flap up and stuck the ear buds into her ears. Pressing the play button, she was greeted to a guitar riff. A guy began singing in her ears as she listened to the lyrics.
(Song: Strong Swimmer by Vistas, lyrics modified slightly to match current scenario. All ownership rights and copyrights belong to Vistas.
Modifications: …make up your mind in schools - make up your mind faithful, that cold blood runs my body- that gold blood runs your body)
Can I go?
Not stay, it's cool
Sounds just like what Persia did, she mused sadly.
To make up your mind, faithfull
But I'm not
Contained by lanes or pools
"The sea does not want to be restrained." But am I restraining her? She thought, as the song continued.
With everything to do
And you'll be there
To tell me how it's gonna go
And I'll be here
Just wishing that I didn't know
Half the things that make me feel I've no clue
But you're not here. She thought.
I'm coming up to breathe
And I'm coming up to feel sorry
'Cause I don't need to believe
That gold blood runs your body
So come on can't you see
That the water makes you shiver
Don't take the dive for me
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer
Damn right, the water makes me shiver. I'm a daughter of Zeus, as much as I hate that womanizer. She thought, but she was beginning to wonder-why did the song sound just right, like it was tailor-made for her…?
I need to go
Not stay anywhere
I hope that is clear
As the water we swim in
I can't remain the same for years
With chemicals in my tears
You can stay, she sighed. As much as I hate to admit it, I've been treating you poorly, and I regret it. I hope you come back soon…
And you'll be there
To tell me how it's gonna go
And I'll be here
Just wishing that I didn't know
Half the things that make me feel I've no clue
Yes, I'm here, waiting for you, Persia. She thought.
I will always be.
I'm coming up to breathe
And I'm coming up to feel sorry
'Cause I don't need to believe
That gold blood runs your body
So come on can't you see
That the water makes you shiver
Don't take the dive for me
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer
With a sudden gasp, she realized that 'Don't take the dive for me, 'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer' wasn't what she anticipated. Sure, it could refer to her godly lineage…but did it mean something else…?
Did it refer to the leap of faith she had yet to take?
…had she truly treated Persia that badly for her to imply that?
As she mulled over the lyrics, the guitar rift ended and she was once again pulled into the song.
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer
I'm coming up to breathe
And I'm coming up to feel sorry
'Cause I don't need to believe
That gold blood runs your body
So come on can't you see
That the water makes you shiver
Don't take the dive for me
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer
Was Persia unhappy that she was bonded to a goddess?
Was Persia afraid that she would reject her?
Did Persia truly believe that she didn't love her?
…did Persia think that she was afraid of love, afraid to dive headfirst into a domain she had never experienced? Because if she did…she was right.
She sighed. Even now, I'm afraid to confront my own feelings. I've truly ruined things, haven't I?
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer
As the lead guitarist ended the song with another guitar solo, the earbuds went silent, leaving her deep in thought as she pondered over the lyrics.
"I'm coming up to breathe
And I'm coming up to feel sorry
'Cause I don't need to believe
That gold blood runs your body
So come on can't you see
That the water makes you shiver
Don't take the dive for me
'Cause we both know you're not a strong swimmer"
She buried her head in her hands. After that chat with Thalia and Zoë, she realized how distant she treated Persia whenever they were alone. Persia knew the risks, but she couldn't help but doubt the relationship between them…
After all, it was common knowledge that any relationship with an immortal deity often ended in disaster.
In through, Artemis knew it was her fault for driving Persia away. If only she had defended her even just that little bit, if she'd been less cold with her…
If she'd accepted her into her ranks, maybe it wouldn't make her feel like such an outcast.
Maybe she would've stayed.
Maybe everything would've worked out fine.
Just…maybe.
She knew that to 'take the dive', it was now or never. Even though she was not ready, deep down she knew that she would never be ready as long as she remained the cruel and unlovable goddess of the hunt. As long as she stuck to her beliefs, she would be driving Persia away.
And she knew she couldn't have that happening.
Just in the past few days where Persia was absent in her life, she had already experienced unimaginable torture. Without Persia's presence, everything around her seemed to be dulled and void of vibrancy. Without Persia's warm touch and cuddles at night, without Persia's intoxicating aroma of the hearth and sea, she could hardly fall asleep. Without Persia's slight quips and interactions, the hunt seemed dull and more divided than ever before-even after Zoë passed.
She remembered her words that night they first made love to each other.
"I'll make this work, Persi."
"I promise."
She made up her mind, a new determined glint in her eyes. When Persia returned from her mission, she was going to reveal the truth.
She knew there would be shock. She knew there would be backlashes.
She no longer cared.
After all, Persia's love and care for her made her feel full, complete. Without her, without a literal part of herself, how could she live for eternity?
Wiping away the tear tracks that lingered on her cheeks, she unzipped her tent flap and strode out of her tent.
She would find her lieutenant and gather the hunt.
She would find Persia and help her in her mission.
And she hoped that everything would turn out alright.
—
Persia sat in a forest alone, pondering over her relationship with Artemis after being teleported from Olympus.
Hestia, her mother, asked her to give Artemis a chance.
She wanted to give the goddess a chance too.
She felt incomplete without the goddess. Those days in the lake…those were torture. She missed seeing those vibrant silvery-yellow orbs, she missed the soft and sweet scent of fresh pine and the forest, she missed the long, lush auburn hair which she woke up to every morning. She missed the melodic voice of the goddess.
She felt incomplete without the goddess.
When they first met after she was reincarnated, she felt oddly…complete, like a bigg piece of a jigsaw puzzle was fitted right into hers, almost completing the whole puzzle.
She knew she wouldn't be complete. No one would be. But she felt complete, fully complete, when she was with Artemis…
And the hunt.
She didn't dare dwell on those thoughts. Artemis being with her made her feel more complete than she'd ever felt, and that was it.
But the problem was…did Artemis return those feelings?
She didn't have an answer to it.
She hoped the goddess did.
After all, Zoë mentioned something about 'soulmates' and 'bonding mark'.
But was Artemis capable of overcoming those bonds, those feelings?
You're being irrational! A part of herself screamed.
But what if those aren't unfounded? After all, she's been a goddess for millennia! Could she have had other soulmates but chose to ignore them?
She truly didn't know.
She could only hope that everything would work out in the end.
As she stood up with a heavy heart, she reached her senses out and tried to probe for her demigod Hestia had sent her to rescue. She knew the demigod was in the forest somewhere…she just had to find them.
-Elsewhere-
"Hunters, gather around!" Artemis said, an air of confidence returning as a steely glint shown in her eyes,
The hunters whispered amongst themselves. What exactly had caused Artemis to return to her usual self?
Was Persia really the cause of all of their problems?
Deep down, they knew she wasn't. After all, she'd helped them do their tedious chores even after blowing up in everyone's faces-hell, she saved Phoebe by coming out of the lake. Still they couldn't shake the feeling that something was up…
"We are going to search, and also assist, Persia Hallie in her rescue efforts!"
Immediately the hunt broke into loud chatter. Joy was felt because they were finally breaking camp-but confusion as well. Who was the demigoddess rescuing? Where was she? And if Hestia (rumored to be the act of said goddess from the recounts of Phoebe) had truly teleported Persia away, how would they even find her?
"Lady Hestia has given us a general vicinity of where out missing huntress is. We will head there soon and hopefully reunite with her. Now, before we go, I know you may have a few questions."
The hunt nodded, some hunters whispering amongst themselves.
"You may be asking, why did I refer to Persia as a huntress, when she hasn't officially taken up her vows yet?" The reason is because she has, but I will not divulge information until she is willing to…Ah, tell us. In the meantime, she's also served us loyally and faithfully, going as far as doing all our chores and helping us in our day-to-day lives even when we shunned her and treated her unfairly. If we do find her, I'm sure all of you will welcome her back in with open arms, yes?"
A chorus of "Yes" were returned.
Artemis grinned, though seasoned hunters noted a hint of sadness and regret within her eyes. Before they could figure out why though, those emotions were quickly erased by a steely glint.
"Now then, let's go! Huddle around girls, we'll set of as quickly as possible!"
-back with our favorite demigoddess-
Warning: mentioned physical abuse!
Persia walked down the streets of the quaint little town next to the forest. Her demigoddess was within one of the houses, not far from where she was right now. The house seemed to radiate darkness and evil the closer she got.
Whatever was going on inside…definitely wasn't nice.
Stepping up to the gates she could see that the nature within hadn't been tended to in a long, long time. Weeds were all over the place, even going as far as growing within the cracks of the paved stone foot bath that led up to the front door.
Lighting up a tiny flame on her fingertip just in case anything flammable decided to jump her, she pushed past the unlocked, rusty gate, shuddering as cold air hit her warm body. The door was locked, but it was simple enough to be unlocked by a flame user since the lock was…well, made of metal.
Moving her finger up to the lock, she focused on the intensity of the flame, and a second later the lock melted into a puddle of molten iron and splattered onto the floor. A bead of sweat rolled down her forehead, and she extinguished the flame before wiping it away.
She hated how she had to focus to use her powers.
Was it because fire and water didn't mix? Or was it simply because her physical body was connected to the hearth while her soul traced its origins back to the sea?
Whatever. She could ponder about those later, right now she had a rescue/extraction mission to do.
Walking silently over the wooden floorboards, she grabbed a kitchen knife from the kitchen of the house. She wrinkled her nose at the sight of the kitchen-unwashed bowls, flies everywhere, spilled stains and broken tableware littered all across the place.
Just who lived here exactly?
Walking down the short corridor and into the living room, she was appalled. Wrappers, packaging, mugs, even underwear and condoms were strewn all over the place…as well as bloodstains. Trash littered the floor and couch, the TV had a stain on it's right side, the overhead lights blinked and buzzed as if it was going to explode soon, and the walls were dusty and stained, peeling wallpaper threatening to fall off the walls.
The underwear, luckily, seemed to belong to adults. If those were children's undergarments…she would've exploded in rage.
As she crept forwards, she noticed glass shards littered the floor. A half-smashed beer bottle lay somewhere within the trash, it's jagged end sticking out like a hazardous Landmine. Persia shuddered at the sight…it reminded her of Gabe.
She thought her mother had permanently gotten rid of the bastard, but apparently it wasn't the case. There were rumors circulating within the hunt that some recent additions were all tormented by a fat, ugly person who they all called Ugliano. She wondered it this was Gabe…and if he was, how did he come back to life after her previous mother, who was sadly killed by Annabeth as a final act of retribution, had killed him by turning him into a garden statue.
Quiet sniffling could be heard by her enchanted hearing as she crept up the stairs. There were a few rooms lining the hall, but two of them were shut up tight. The putrid smell reminded her of her 'previous life', where her small apartment room smelled exactly the same…
Fear and suspicion began to claw at her heart. She stomped them down as she stepped forwards.
The sniffling grew louder as she neared one of the closed doors. The door was evidently badly worn and had beer stains and dried blood on the surface. Dents and splintered wood could also be seen, and the doorknob hung onto it's holster by pieces of twisted and rusted metal.
Reaching out with her senses, she flared her aura ever so slightly. Smiling sadly as she realized the aura she was feeling matched the one she was supposed to be searching for, she knocked on the door gently before stepping into the room…and was immediately greeted by a horrendous sight.
A girl, no more than 14, was curled up in a ball, covered by a stained blanket as she quietly sniffled. Her eyes were wide with fear as she stared at Persia. "W-ho-o a-are y-you? Wh-what do y-you want?" The girl said, voice trembling as she shrunk back.
She wanted to puke. The girl hadn't completely covered herself in blankets, and she could see the base of her neck…littered with scars and scabs. An ugly bruise in the shape of a handprint was wrapped around her neck.
Stomping her nausea and memories down as emotions exploded within her, a smile appeared on her lips, though it was thin and forced. "I'm Persia Hallie, and I'm here to help you, young one."
"Wh-who sent y-you? I-is it G-g-gabe…?" The girl finished in a small voice, tears appearing in the corners of her eyes. She felt her heart twist and contort painfully, sympathy overwhelming her emotions as she looked at the girl. She looked just like herself…rather, himself when she was abused by Gabe in her previous life that she was eager to leave behind.
"No, I'm not sent by…did you say Gabe?" The girl nodded frightfully, as she whimpered and tears flowed down her cheeks. "Y-yes, g-gabe Ugl-ugly," The girl said as she began shaking in fear.
It's true then, she thought as she tried to flare her aura to calm the girl down. In truth, her inner self was screaming and thrashing in imaginary bonds, but she had an audience. She needed to be calm and composed-
Footsteps. Heavyset footsteps.
A growl of anger, and the sound of a wooden door slamming against it's frame.
Shit.
Judging by the onset of panic in the girl's body language, the girl must've heard the same things she did and jumped to the same conclusions. Flaring her aura even more, the girl began to calm down as euphoria and hope filled her.
"Okay, I need you to be calm," she began, "I'll go and hold off Gabe. You're getting out of this hellhole no matter how…"
"Annie. Annaliese Berkeley."
"Okay, Annie, be safe and ignore me. Go outside, and if you don't see me coming out, hide. I'll find you with my own ways-" she heard footsteps coming up the stairs, and she knew time was up. "Just-follow me, and once Gabe's out of the way, go. Alright?"
The newly named Annaliese nodded, and Persia bunched up her fists before cautiously looking past the door frame. Gabe was standing in the hallway, ready to enter his room, before freezing and studying the floor. A moment later, he sniffed the air, and his face broke into a maniacal grin.
With a shock, she realized that Gabe knew they were here. Judging by his posture…he was ready to spring.
She now only had the advantage of surprise over Gabe.
Motioning for Annie to follow her, she crouched down and waited for Gabe ti appear past the doorframe-
Now!
As a meaty hand rounded the corner, Persia sprinted out and smashed into Gabe, before twisting their momentum and shoving the heavyset Gabe past Annie and away from the stairs.
"GO!"
Annie, though trembling like a leaf, heeded her words and sprinted down the stairs and out the door. Meanwhile, she was grappling with Gabe, slugging hit After hit into his torso and face. Fury filled her veins as she gave hints a taste if his medicine.
"How-" punch "-are-" punch "-you-" punch "-here!" She screamed between punches as she beat the living daylights out of Gabe. Bloody and bruised, the fat ugly tormentor somehow had the ability to smile.
"You don't know? My mistress saved me, and she'll save me AGAIN!" He laughed maniacally, before getting decked across the face by Persia. Howling in fury, she smashed Gabe's head I to the floorboards so hard it lodged between the pieces of wood, before flipping over him and breaking his windpipe. Grabbing the knife, she sliced off one of his hands before stabbing him through his other wrist, pinning him to the floor.
"That'll…that'll serve you," she panted, wiping her hands with his clothes, before she turned tail and ran, leaving Gabe to slowly die on his own.
Unbeknownst to her, Gabe's eyes began turning into an earthy soil texture as he grinned, ripping his arm out of the floorboards as his throat healed. Skin quickly covered the stump where his hand should be, before new bones and skin began growing into a new hand.
"Weakling." A sleepy female voice mused, coming out of Gabe's mouth, before the man leapt out of a nearby window and dived into the ground.

A/N: And that's chapter 8!
How do you like Gabe returning to do what he does best? Unexpected, eh?
Anyway, with Artemis finally coming through while Persia remains fearful, let's see how things go.
For now, reviews (you guys gave me so much reviews I love you lot so much)
Sparten24: thanks, I'm already feeling better.Swelling's gone down and the wound seems to be healing nicely.
DevilishSlipper: Thank you, glad you enjoyed this! I hope I can live up to expectations in the future :p
Sh4d0wz: Don't worry about not reviewing-you're not forced/obliged to, just feel free to do it when you're free. I know I'm ending the chapter on a fun note xd, but frequent updates won't come (at least 2-3 days for quality content to be done) so sorry to disappoint. And yes-I have a storyline that I wanna write, again-in Servus Romae I was just freeforming, most stuff didn't turn out how I wanted it to, and it shows the lack of quality. This time around, I'm not gonna freeform and at least develop a semblance of a plot (though it probably will be predictable, sorry :-:). Anyway, looking forward to begin writing in the next chaoter too, and I hope you enjoyed this one!
Ryan Fowler: lol thanks! I'm gonna try to be uncle Rick next time (just kidding-I hate cliffhangers too so I probably won't). I'm hoping that all of you will enjoy how this story will develop, but for now I guess you will have to wait. Sorry :-:
Anglethedevil: Percy joining the hunt as a guy (aka guardian of the hunt/make hunter stories) are common, but most of them are rushed/ not as enjoyable. As for Fem!percy joining the hunt, it's a reasonable plot and I've seen a few good ones, but so far the best one I've seen is "Sea Girl" and it's currently on hiatus/abandoned since the last update was a really, really long time ago. I'll admit that being a hunter and loving people isn't exactly a good plot (since being a hunter requires you to be an eternal maiden), but it's the best I can do right now. Anyway, I hope you can continue to enjoy this story, looking forwards to seeing you in future chapters.
And that's all le reviews! Thanks for your support guys, and I'm so happy that you all love and support this story. The next update will probably be more of a filler though, to fill in some background as well as push the plot forwards a bit, so it could come out faster and quicker. Also, lemme know what role you want Gabe to play in the upcoming plot!
