Before we begin, the hunters! To clear up everything, I'm putting a list of some of the hunters in here. (Eldest to youngest)

Yes, there are 30+ in total, but I can't be arsed to curate a list of 30+ hunters so here you go. Most are unimportant anyway tbh :p

Zoë (atlas), Phoebe (Ares), Atlanta (Apollo), Naomi (Asclepius), Cynthia (Nemesis), Raven (Aphrodite), Fiona (clear-sighted mortal), Jessica (legacy, Aphrodite), Hayley (Legacy, Hecate), Riley (Hermes), Rochelle (Hephaestus), Sarah (Demeter), Isabelle (Tyche), Ashley (Demeter), Annabel (British), Danielle (Dionysus), Natalie (Hermes), Liane (Legacy, Hermes), Alina (Athena), Tracy (Aphrodite), Janice (Ares), Leah (Rescued by Persia, Hermes).

Anyway, enjoy this new chapter.

Somehow, she thought, somehow I'll get you as mine, Persia.

Even if it requires me to go to tartarus and back.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

No one was sad for once in weeks as all the hunters ate breakfast together.

Thalia, Atlanta, Phoebe and the older hunters who were mostly recruited before the second titan war laughed and chatted, while younger hunters were busy enjoying the food cooked by Artemis and Persia (with love).

Speaking of the couple, they were in each other's embrace, Persia leaning on Artemis' shoulders as she happily ate a burger while the goddess smiled and hugged her closer, a lamb chop in hand as she tore into the medium rare meat.

"Milady! Do you remember that one time Thalia fell off a tree?" Phoebe casually asked, and the hunters cracked up while Thalia turned beet red. "PHOEBE!" She yelled half heartedly, "I thought we agreed on not to say that!"

"It was funny!" Phoebe replied in defense, "you legit fell off the branch while taking watch!"

Persia chuckled next to Artemis as she tightened her arm around Persia. "Well, seems like even my cousin isn't immune to shame-"

"Shush!" Thalia exclaimed hurriedly, her face beet red. "You're not immune either, ember."

The hunters oohed and ahhed at the nickname while Persia turned red from embarrassment. "Arty, save me." She pouted, and Artemis merely smirked before adding in, "Are you sure, my flame?" Which caused the hunters to squeal even louder.

Persia now resembled a tomato.

"See?" Thalia grinned proudly, having proven her point, "you're not immune too!"

"Shut up, pinecone face."

Artemis grinned at the antics of her girlfriend and soulmate. Oh, how she loved her. Gently pressing Persia into her side, she rested her head against Persia's temple. Hunters grinned at the couple and snickered, but most held adoration and happiness in their eyes.

The hunters had seen how both of them fit perfectly for each other, like two pieces in a puzzle. Persia, after her reincarnation, was more shy and introverted, yet kept her loyal, caring and helpful mature. Artemis was more brash and extroverted, unafraid to contact outsiders or lose her dignity (though she did get mad sometimes), yet she was also brave, expeditious, protective and acted as a mother of sorts to the hunters. Persia was the shy yet caring and helpful big sister hunters hoped to have, while Artemis was the mother figure that constantly acted like a mother hen over her hunters.

Meanwhile, Thalia acted as the playful one, and their lieutenant-well, former lieutenant Zoë often held the three in check. Together, the four were the best family all the hunters could ask for. Thalia often provided brilliant (yet hot headed) leadership to the hunters, Persia often helped and cared for the hunters as if they were her little sisters (even though most were older than her by at least centuries), Artemis was the mother of a 37-girl family, and Zoë was the wise and confident person that hunters could seek help from when Artemis or Persia weren't free.

They watched as Persia rinsed her hands in water she conjured and got rid of the tiny amount of grease she had on her hands after finishing the burger, before wrapping her arms around Artemis and snuggling into her side, purring contently. Artemis smiled down at the demigoddess before planting a light kiss on the top of her forehead, having finished her lamb chop some time ago.

Hunters gathered around the table sniggered and 'aww'ed. "Persia is a great Persian house cat!" Thalia declared, earning a pout from Persia and a playful glare from Artemis, while hunters cracked up and laughed at their lieutenant's joke. "You better not skin her and have her as rug or I'll skin you," Atlanta warned and some hunters laughed in response. Thalia mocked horror and exclaimed dramatically-in a British accent no less- "Why would I skin my own cousin? Outrageous! Blasphemous!"

"Oh shut up Thalia, you'd make a bloody good British girl." Persia responded, causing more hunters to laugh and Thalia to mock glare at Persia. "Bleedin' good accent lass! Serves ya right to mock my accen', lieutenan'!"Annabel, originally from Britain-or should I say Scotland, yelled, and hunters laughed again.

Things couldn't have been better before.

Finally, the hunt was one big loving family that hated men…well, except the young hunters, Thalia and Persia.

Artemis smiled as she watched the hunt interact with one another with joy. They were a family again, and she wouldn't give this up for anything.

Speaking of family…

"Hunters!" She said, stirring Persia as her hunters stopped talking and looked at her. "So, today we finally have our full family at the dining table!"

Cheers were heard as hunters clapped and hollered. A random piece of toast flew up in the air and hunters laughed as it hit Sarah on the head.

She grinned and took a big bite out of it.

Artemis smiled as she continued, "but we still have something we haven't done. Almost a month ago, we gained a new member." Hunters looked at Persia, who squirmed uncomfortably under the sudden attention and tried to disappear. "This new member was influential, and even though we didn't accept her with open arms, she still served all of us faithfully and without a complaint. Of course, we cannot let this go without recognition."

Turning to a red Persia, she smiled warmly as she asked, "Persia Hallie, do you officially wish to join the hunt, and take up the place as my right-hand woman, the Lieutenant of Artemis?"

Persia looked at her with wide eyes. "Um-Milady, of course, but-"

Artemis smiled. "Yes, I know of your concerns about our…status…" wolf whistles were heard, and snickering followed. "…but don't worry. You're not having a normal oath, you didn't take the normal one at first anyway."

Persia turned red again from embarrassment.

"So, do you wish to officially join the hunt?"

Persia looked at her, silver locking onto sea-green and crimson.

"Of course, Milady."

Artemis smiled. "Very well, Persia. Repeat this pledge after me. 'I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I swear to be loyal, to turn my back on the company of men, accept the position of Artemis' lieutenant, and join the hunt.'"

"I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I swear to be loyal, to turn my back on the company of men, accept the position of Artemis' lieutenant, and join the hunt." Persia recited, and Artemis smiled warmly. "Well then, Persia, I officially welcome you into the hunt!"

The hunters cheered and whooped as Persia and Artemis embraced each other. "Thanks, Arty," Persia said, sniffing lightly. "Oh, Persia, you have no idea how long ago I wanted to do that." Artemis replied, resting her forehead against Persia's.

"Thank you," Persia repeated, and both of them hugged for a bit longer before breaking apart. Staring into Persia's heterochromatic eyes, she could see the gratitude that radiated from her eyes. Grinning, she wrapped an arm over Persia's shoulders and pulled her close. "Hunters, come congratulate our hunt's newest member!" She yelled out, and Hunters came forth and hugged Persia as she grinned and laughed all while being dog piled.

Yet elsewhere, a plan was already set in motion for this family to be forcefully separated.

Not by just one force. By three.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

The Hall of the gods was mostly deserted, save for three figures standing in the throne room.

One was flickering in and out of existence.

"Zeus, you fool!" Hera yelled as her form flickered again. "Jason grace is MY CHAMPION! He is under my will, and I will do what I have to!"

"I would have allowed it if you put it up for a vote, not doing this behind my back, wife!" Zeus spat back, anger pronounced on his features.

Hestia simply sat back and watched, brows furrowed, as the family feud unfolded.

"It's the only way! There must be a swap of camp leaders-"

"THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER WAY! JASON IS MY SON-"

"AND I AM YOUR WIFE WHO DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO THAT BASTARD!" Hera screeched, and Zeus' power was so palpable the air in the throne room crackled and sparked with ozone and static electricity.

"Besides," Hera said, her firm flickering more rapidly now, "you'll get to knock that son-turned-daughter of Poseidon and your daughter, Artemis, down a peg, as well as screw with Hades' oh-so-grand plans of making his son the lieutenant of the underworld."

"But you're involving my son in this."

"Oh, for chaos' sake, just let him go already. He's gonna be fine-" Hera completely disappeared for a moment, before reappearing, visibly shaken.

"I don't have time to argue. Besides, Gaia is rising, so are the giants, and they are draining my energy as we speak. Let me do my plans, and you'll have your way later."

"Fine, Just do it. I pray to the fates that what you have done is the correct thing."

With that, Hera's form fizzled out and dissipated into pure energy, before that vanished as well. Now free of his burden in the shape of a wife, Zeus turned to Hestia, his own sister, who was aimlessly tending to the hearth.

"Sister. You will not interfere with my plans."

"Oh, really?" Hestia replied, her voice void of any amusement and sounding unnaturally cold. "I'm not letting you separate a perfectly fine family. Look at Persia. Look at your daughter and her hunters. Look at their family. They're perfect for each other, they're happy, and they're at peace for now. Stop trying to separate them for your own good."

Zeus simply smirked. "Sister, you're the child's mother now. Don't you think you're doing this for your own good too?"

"Brother. Family is my domain. The hearth warms one's heart, and now the hunters have finally reunited around theirs. If you disturb my domain-"

A blast there her back, making her stumble. She coughed but before she could regain her footing, Zeus had slammed her against his throne. "Sister. You will not dare interfere with my plans. Your child possesses the power to topple my throne with a single choice. I will not have that."

"Zeus, for the last time-"

"Oh, so not even brother? What kind of family is this if you aren't calling me a brother?" Zeus challenged, and Hestia glared at him.

"A dysfunctional one. Look at any family in the world and find me one where an uncle decides to kill his niece for power and greed."

Zeus merely smirked, before he slammed Hestia into his throne again by the throat. "Listen here, you virgin piece of shit. I do what I want to do, and you're not stopping me. We might have been family once, but those days are long gone, and I hope you remember that."

With that, Zeus flashed away, already planning on what to do next to force the 'oh so loving family' to separate.

To get rid of the pest in his eyes, Persia Hallie Jackson.

An idea came to mind, and he grinned as he began planning on what to tell his daughter he regretted siring.

What was his plan? Simple. Get the hunters to search for Hera, strike a deal with monsters and have all of them brutally mauled to death in the process. Then somehow toss Persia's soul into tartarus and be done with it.

What he didn't know was that Chaos was in her empty void, sighing at the incompetence of the gods as she watched events unfold from above.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Artemis was really annoyed as a web of lightning exploded in the sky above.

"Another meeting, now of all times? He must really hate me," she sighed. Before turning to Persia, who was cleaning up the dishes. "Percy, I'm gonna have to head for Olympus. Father's calling a meeting, again."

"Okay…but why am I Percy all of a sudden?"

"Thalia insisted on me calling you that, saying something like, and I quote, 'ar root she's still the kelp head we know and love-in a sisterly way'."

Persia nodded before shrugging. "Eh, Fine by me. Just…don't Call me that in front of my old friends or camp half-blood campers and we'll be fine."

She arched an eyebrow. "Why not?"

"Well…I had a dream last night," Persia began, "and it was…well, a bunch of kids running the camp like it's their holiday home. Chiron seems miserable, only a few of the older campers are actually practicing, and…well, apparently Annabeth is worshiped as a hero, a martyr, sacrificing herself to help defeat Kronos. Which is complete and utter bullshit, but for some reason no one cares."

She rolled her eyes. "Campers. Total idiots, if you ask me. Well anyway-" she checked the sky as more lightning danced- "I'm late. Father's impatient. I…"

"I know, Arty," Persia said as she hugged Artemis. "Don't get smited by your dad, yeah?"

"I won't, love. And if I get smited…well, you can always wait a few hundred years for me to come back, won't you?"

Persia shook her head, though her face held a small grin. "Only you, Arty, only you. Now go, I'll tell Thalia that she's got control."

Pecking her girlfriend on her cheek, Artemis stepped back and began glowing. A split second later, she erupted into her divine form, traveling at impossible speeds towards Olympus.

Reappearing in the throne room, she looked around to see only Zeus and Hestia. "Aunt, Father," she greeted, making sure to spit the last word out like venom.

As predicted, Zeus' face grew stoney and anger clouded his eyes. However, he didn't react otherwise, and Hestia replied with a meek "hello, niece" before glancing at Zeus with an indescribable look and walking back over to the hearth.

She noticed her aunt had a peach-coloured bruise resembling a handprint around her neck.

An uncomfortable feeling arose in her gut. She pushed it down.

Maybe Aunt Hestia just so happened to have a grappling match with someone. Maybe ares, he needed to vent anyway and her generous aunt provided it.

Yep, definitely that.

Definitely not her father grappling with aunt Hestia.

Forcing a smile onto her face, she asked in a sweet voice, "father, why did you summon me?"

"Daughter…I bear grave news."

She braced herself.

"Hera has been captured. Not by my father and his brethren. By Giants."

She sucked in a breath. Normally, giants do not pop out of nowhere. The only times they did were during humanity's times of crisis, to wreak havoc on the weak ended society in hopes of toppling the flame of the west and beginning the age of the giants.

Most attempts were foiled by demigods and minor gods. But now, demigods of Greek origin we're getting complacent. The romans lost a lot from the assault on Mount othrys. Most minor gods still held resentment towards Olympus, and were only not hostile to one person only-Persia Hallie Jackson.

Apparently news had spread in Olympus that Percy had a change of gender and became Persia. No one knew the details, other than the Olympians themselves, and even they didn't know everything.

Apart from her, Aunt Hestia and Uncle Poseidon of course.

"Father," she said, picking up her thoughts and pushing them aside, "If we wish to rescue Hera-"

"You will send the hunters and hunt the giants down. Olympus will close-"

"What?"

"You heard me. Send your hunters to deal with-"

"Father." Artemis narrowed her eyes, "my hunters are not gods. And even if they were, then need demigods to help them. Olympus is not closing. I will assist-"

"YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING!" Zeus roared, and Artemis' eyes widened. Her thoughts buzzed around at hundreds of miles per hour as she realized her father's intentions.

"…you're Just trying to get Persia out of the picture, are you?"

Zeus' features turned stormy. "MY INTENTIONS ARE FOR MYSELF TO KNOW," he thundered, "AND YOU WILL HOT DEFY MY WILL!"

"I will, father," she spat back with equal ferocity, "do your worst. You can't break the ancient laws and smite her because she didn't challenge you. You can't banish me because you need me. Let me do my job, and you do yours, father. Stop trying to meddle in our lives."

Zeus had a face made out of gold at this point. "You dare?" He asked, his voice shaking and full of cold fury.

"Father. You are not getting what you want. If it bothers you so much, I'll resign and join Gaia's children just to get rid of you and your despicable behavior. I will now head out to hunt for giants and recover your loving wife, Queen Hera. Good day to you."

With that, Zeus exploded into lightning, but Artemis was already flashing away to the edges of her camp. Just in case, she erected a weak barrier to fully activate if her father was insane enough to break the ancient laws.

"Milady!" Thalia greeted her, "how was…the summoning?"

Her stoney expression said it all.

"…right, I'll get Persia, then you can inform the hunters of what happened."

She debated on what she should do. She couldn't just leave her hunters out there while she searched for giants-many of the hunters were recruits, with only half of them having at least decades of experience. If she searched for Hera with them, they were bound to perish. But she had a job to do, and couldn't just leave her hunters alone…

She finally decided on a plan, and allowed a small smile onto her face.

"Very well, Thalia. Call the hunters first, and get me Persia. We're…ah, going to camp half blood for a stay."

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Jason Grace, one of the two Praefectus Castrorii (Praetors/camp prefects) of camp Jupiter, was leaning on the railing of the Garden of Bacchus when he felt a divine force land next to him.

No one was here right now, and he quickly turned to face the newcomer.

A frowning Juno stood next to him.

Immediately getting onto one knee, he kneeled respectfully. "Lady Juno! It is a pleasure-"

"Cut it out, Jason Grace." Juno snapped, and he looked at the goddess, attempting to hide his uncertainty and fear. "My apologies-"

"Cut it." Juno said, her form suddenly flickering.

That's not normal.

"We have little time. A new threat is drawing near, and there is only one path that can lead to success without a lot of bloodshed. Jason Grace, my champion-" he narrowly avoided a gasp "-do you accept the duty of saving the world once again?"

"Lady Juno, I would be honored-"

"Then let us waste no time."

Immediately, Juno placed a hand on his shoulder, and he felt himself…forgetting?

Memories leaked out of his mind like a leaky faucet. Whenever he reached for one, it avoided his grasp. He forgot his battles, his journey to become the Praefectus Castrorum, his life.

His last thought was of regret. He regretted not being able to tell…someone of his departure.

Would they worry? He thought.

Who were they?

And just like that, Jason Grace remembered nothing as Juno flashed him away.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Nico Di Angelo was mildly annoyed when Hera popped into his cabin.

"Son of Hades," she greeted him frostily.

If it isn't Queen Bitch, he thought as he got up and out on a mask of respect. "Lady Hera," he curtly bowed. "What are you-"

"We have no time for these…mannerisms, as much as I like them." Hera snapped, and he frowned. Hera, the queen of the gods, avoiding mannerisms? Something must've happened.

"Has something happened, Lady Hera?" He asked, and Hera nodded in annoyance. "Yes, and it is-" her form flickered, and Nico jumped up in alarm. Imposter? He though as he drew his Stygian iron sword and placed it against Hera's neck. "Who are you, and what have you done to Hera?" He growled, just as Hera's form stopped flickering and returned to normal.

"I am still 'Hera', thank you very much, son of hades," she huffed as Nico hastily withdrew his sword and knelt, preparing to ask for forgiveness, "But I can overlook your idiocy for now. It was a natural reaction, and I'm sure that you'll be accepted."

"Accepted what? Where?"

"No time to explain, nor should I explain. I'm captured, my time is short and grows shorter still. Just know, Nico di Angelo. You have saved the world once. You're about to do it again." Hera said as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

And then everything went black.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Bianca Di Angelo was about to take a drink from the Lethe to try for rebirth.

Souls had been disappearing from elysium, and she wasn't sure how.

Her father was more than agitated. Security had tightened, and she'd informed Nico of her wish to be reborn, just like their mother, since she didn't belong in the underworld. No friends, no one she knew.

It was better if she left and tried for rebirth.

Holding the Lethe water in her cupped, ghostly hands, she looked into the milky water as she thought about her brother once again. The water didn't wipe her memory at the touch-souls weren't exactly physically affected by the Lethe river unless in the fields of punishment.

Oh, how she yearned to see Nico again. His unruly black hair and skinny frame kept entering her mind as she stared into the swirling water.

She wished she had a chance to see Nico physically one last time. Alas, he didn't answer her iris message when she did it.

Which was odd, considering he always did no matter what.

A golden-eyed soul walked up next to her. With a jolt, she realized she was in Asphodel.

"Fun day, isn't it?" The spirit spoke, and she realized it spoke English. Looking closely, she could see the wispy form of a golden-eyed girl, no more than 12, standing next to her.

But it's impossible, spirits never retain their memory in Asphodel unless…

"You're my sister?" She asked, and the shoul shook her head. "Sorry, but I don't think we're related-"

"On the godly side." She stated, and the soul looked at her, frozen. "You…you mean my dad….our dad?"

She nodded. "Yeah. Hades is my father, and judging by how you retained your memory, yours."

"But-my father isn't hades, it's Pluto."

She raised an eyebrow. "Aren't Roman gods the same as Greek one's? Same personality, same core, different names."

"I…don't know, to be honest." The soul replied, before shaking her head and pointing at the milky water. "Enough of our little godly parent chit-chat. You're trying for rebirth?"

"Yeah."

"Well…good luck, I guess. But, shouldn't you be in, you know, elysium to be able to-"

"I am. I…died, saving others."

Her half sister was silent for a while, before she muttered, "I died, saving others too."

"Then why aren't you in elysium?"

"It's a long story. It involves my mother." Her half sister said. "She…well, she died saving me, and was manipulated into raising-raising Gaia's son, Alcyoneus. She…she brought us to Alaska, outside of my father's control, communicated with Gaia, had her mind corrupted…but at the last moment, when I killed Alcyoneus…she realized her mistake. She tried to protect me, in the last moments of our life, realizing she couldn't do it before. And…I didn't want her to go to the fields of punishment. She didn't deserve it. So…I exchanged my place in elysium so she could remain out of the fields."

She had a horrible feeling in her gut. And I thought I had it bad, she thought.

"What about you?" Her half-sister's voice cut through her thoughts, "Me? I…well, it began in Italy. Me and Nico, my brother, were born there. It was 1935. World war 2 was apparently coming around, but we didn't know it yet. Mother and father moved to America-well, more like mother moved to be with father. We stayed in a hotel, and…Zeus was apparently mad that father sired children, and…blew the hotel up. Mom died."

"I'm sorry. Did you…you know, meet her?"

"She went for rebirth some time before. I…I never got the chance."

"Oh…I see," her half sister said, sounding apologetic.

"You don't have to apologize. It was her choice,,,now it's my turn."

"I…well, don't you want to meet your brother again? Don't you have…friends?" Her half sister asked, curious.

"No…not exactly. Father wanted to protect us, so…well got sent to the Lethe and then into the Lotus eater's lair, the Lotus casino. We…we grew up there, and when we came back out…70 years passed. I…" she broke off sniffling before continuing, "me and my brother were sent to a brooding school. We were found by demigods, and then I…Left my brother. I left him to join the hunters of Artemis. And…we went on a quest, I nearly got everyone killed because of my regret, and…I decided to sacrifice myself to save them. And…they finished the quest. Just without me."

Her half sister was silent for quite a while. "You deserve elysium then," she finally said. "Unlike me. I…I did what I had to. Mother…mother deserved it too. But…she's gone now, somewhere in these fields. Lost." Her half sister paused, before asking, "what should I call you? I just realized I didn't ask for a name…"

"Bianca. Bianca di Angelo." She said with a grim smile, before asking her half sister, "yours?"

"Hazel. Hazel Levesque."

"Nice to meet you, Hazel. If only we could have met under better circumstances…"

"I could say the same."

"So, Hazel…why have you not tried for rebirth? If you asked dad nicely-"

"I don't want special privileges just because of my parentage. If I am to remain here for the rest of eternity, I will. I had my own regrets, but I don't know where…he ended up anyway."

She raised an eyebrow. "He? You had a boy in your life?"

Hazel nodded. "Yeah. His name…sammy, sammy Valdez."

"I have my own regrets too," she quietly said. "I regret joining the hunters and abandoning my brother. I regret not being able to see him one last time before I went. I…I regret being such a burden for Nico. Even now, he struggles with my death. He always wanted to bring me back, but…"

"If you had a chance to see your brother one last time, would you?" Hazel asked, curious.

"I would." She answered firmly. "My brother needs closure, he needs comfort, and he has no one in his life. I'm the only source of hope he has…oh, I just wish that I could go and comfort him, be by his side…for everything."

She sighed, and looked down at her cupped hands. "Alas, I can't do it when I'm dead. Maybe if I'm reborn…"

Before Hazel could speak, the ground in front of them rumbled. Both yelped and scrambled away, with her tossing the Lethe water back into the river in the process. Both of them watched, transfixed, as a pair of obsidian and Stygian iron doors rose up in front of them and swung open.

""Hm. It looks like the doors have chosen you both for a second chance." A familiar deep voice said behind them, and they turned to see their father.

"Father!" They both exclaimed, but he raised a hand to stop them. "No, not now. You can do it later. The most important thing you have to do is step through those doors. Bianca," he said, turning to face her, "go see your brother Nico. I have a feeling that Hera's plans for him are not the best for him. Hazel," he continued, turning to her half sister, "I'll guide you to your destiny. You'll meet Sammy soon enough…rather, someone of his family. Both of you have a greater destiny than lingering in my domain," he said, a proud smile shining on his face, "so go on, my girls. Go and live your lives as you will."

"I'll make you proud, father. I won't fail Nico again." She said firmly, and Hazel nodded. "I'll do what I have to do if my destiny calls for it. I won't disappoint you, father."

Their father showed a proud smile. "I'm sure you both won't disappoint, my dear children. Now," he gestured to the doors, "step through them and live your life. It isn't often the doors appear to those who are worthy, and this time…I'm happy for you two, truly."

"Thank you, father. I swear I won't disappoint." She said, and stepped towards the doors. "Hazel…on three?"

"On three. One, two, three!"

With that, they pushed open the heavy doors and were basked in an ethereal white glow from inside the doors. Looking back again, their father had happy tears in his eyes. "Go on, daughters. Male the house of hades and Pluto proud," he grinned, as she turned back and stepped into the light.

She wasn't sure of what the future had in store for her. But she knew one thing-if she ever saw Nico again, she would never separate with him.

She silently swore on the Styx.

A/N: Huzzah! One new chapter!

Persia joins the hunt officially, Zeus comes up with more Funky plans, Hera is kidnapped, Jason and Nico begin the swap process.

Oh, and Bianca is finally introduced into this story! Took me thirteen chapters but we're here. :p

Anyway, excited for what's gonna happen? I sure am!

Anyway, I know that this chapter is a bit shorter than usual. I'll make it up for you lads next chapter, promise.

Also, before we go, I'm putting this here before we got to the Neuen Roma (new rome, idk why I typed German) part of things: I am revamping Rome's legions and ranks. The 12th legion will have 10 cohorts, with proper cavalry and archer squads, and 480 foot soldiers in every cohort (Excluding staff). The 10th cohort, or Cohortes Urbanis (idk shush), will be military police/reserve cohort made up of retired legionnaires.

(Reason for this: most legionnaires in this fic aren't full demigods nor 2-4th gen legacies, most are your average mortals who have clear sightedness as an added benefit because their demigod blood is so far removed. Hence romans work very, very nicely as a team, but very poorly when on individual missions. Also, all retired Roman soldiers don't have to venture out into the mortal world and can always send their kids to new rome like CHB with the added benefits of a city.)

Ranks of rome:

non-Officer ranks

Probatio-legionnaires on probation.

Tirone-recruit

Miles, legionary, Decanus-official legionnaires.

(Miles= newbies who haven't seen battle, legionary= newbies who have seen battle/partook in war games and performed great, Decanus= legionaries training up to be specialists)

Immunis= specialists/ military police (in a sense. Praetorians (which will be present in this story) will only recruit those who are ranked immunis or above)

Cornicen, Signiferi-trumpeter and standard bearer. Self explanatory.

Officer ranks-

Tessarius-trainers. Someone has to train legionnaires after all.

Optio-Second in commands to a cohort. There are 4 every cohort.

Centurion-first in command of a cohort, and representatives of said cohort during senate meetings.

Primus Pilus-most Senior centurion of the first cohort. (Essentially a centurion but with a higher rank, different title)

Tribunes-overall commander of all centurions.

Legates Legionis- LEGION commander. Doesn't make sense for a military commander to be in charge of civilians.

Finally-Praefectus Castrorum/Praetor-camp prefect. Camp director.

Also, every cohort will have 400 foot legionnaires, 30 cavalrymen and 50 archers. Cavalrymen will be heavy infantry if dismounted.

(Cavalry=equites, archers/skirmishes=Velites)

This time, no review responses yet. I have 2 reviews, but I'll answer them the next chapter since…well, I'm sure some of the other lads haven't reviewed yet, and I'll wait for a few more days. (Or if they have nothing to review that's okay, I'm not forcing you guys to)

Though a big thank you to you all for supporting this story so far! Looking forward to seeing your opinions/feedback in whatever shape or form.

Regardless, see you in the next chapter! (Also, is Bianca/Zoë a good pairing, or do you want someone else to be with B? Lemme know.)
