Once again a thousand apologies to everyone. Lots have been happening and I am trying the best I can. This chapter may seem a bit short to some, but I'm happy that I was able to start writing again.

Chapter 11: Sasuke Explodes/ Tensions rise & a change in plans

As morning came to the land of fire, the sun's rays shined throughout the Village of Konoha. Many of the villagers began their day, with a spring in their step, some with sleep still in their bodies, while others like one Sasuke Uchiha…lay awake in bed with a heavy mind. Within a few days, in the entrance ceremony for him and his friends, about to attend the Ninja Academy. Sasuke wasn't worried as he knew they were ready for school, as they have been training and preparing, ever since Sasuke met them again. The Hokage also promised that all the teams would be the same, as they were before.

Sadly, this wasn't the reason Sasuke felt scared to leave his bed, despite waking up early. For some reason he couldn't decipher, he had been struck with a bad feeling, that shook his body (and is the reason) why he had woken before the sun rose. Slowly, after catching his breath, he began to shift through his memories, hoping he could find the reason behind this. He remembered Itachi having something to do on the day of the ceremony. His father took him instead after complaining that Itachi missed meetings, due to missions. Besides that event, he couldn't think of anything else, it was starting to scare him. Taking deep breaths, he got out of bed, thinking some fresh air would do him good.

Despite the bad feelings and heavy mind, sleep claimed his body, and he was shaken awake by his mother, who found him asleep against the pole on the side porch.

"Sasuke-chan are you alright, why are you asleep outside?" She asked with worried eyes.

"Good morning mom, I woke early and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm alright though."

Calming her worry, the two headed inside to prepare breakfast. It was Sasuke and his parents who sat at the table, as Itachi and Shisui were still away on a two week mission. It's been a few weeks since Shisui was told Sasuke's secret and the young boy could see a change in his behavior. He knew many of the clansmen could see it as well, especially the ones in his brother. Just like the past their father had been keeping an eye on him, ever since he entered ANBU. As the thought crossed his mind the bad feeling came back stronger, and he was grateful his parents didn't see the shiver that ran through him.

Sasuke left the compound after assisting his mother with some chores, a few hours after his father left for work. He needed to get out of their home so he can breathe a little easier. Walking through the village was helping him, as he greeted others, and even saw some of his soon to be classmates again like Kiba, Shino and even Hinata. Soon he lost track of time and didn't even realize how long he'd been walking for as his mind became calm. Unfortunately, the calm mind prevented him from seeing the person he was about to crash into, until it too late.

"Oh, sorry I wasn't lo…" he started apologizing but stopped as he looked and actually saw one of the few persons, he never wanted to see…EVER.

Danzo Shimura

The man behind…everything. The reason his family was accused of the Kyubi's attack, the real reason behind his brother's defection and his family's death.

The time traveler's anger rose to the point where, the Sharingan almost came forth. But, miraculously, he was able to hold back…and ran. He didn't even know how fast he was going, all he wanted was to get away from him…and fast.

Finally slowing down, he stopped in order to catch his breath.

'Why' he thought. 'Out of everyone in the entire village why did I have to run into him of all people?'

When he looked around, he found himself in the woods, probably close to a training site. He moved to one of the trees and sat underneath it, trying to allow himself to relax.

A few hours later he felt well enough to return home. His mother was in the kitchen preparing dinner, and his father was speaking with another clansman. He still felt as though he needed space, even from his family and so decided to stay out on the patio. Although outside, he can still hear their voices, didn't like what they were saying. The clansman was complaining about the treatment that the other Uchiha members were receiving from many of the villages; and claiming they were not as respected as other clans in the village. It was then Sasuke began to suspect if the ominous feeling he was having, was because of the clan's growing hatred for the village.

A few minutes after the member had left, he thought it was safe to go back in. Sadly, he didn't know his parents were having whispered conversations about the issue. He paused, feeling his anger rise once more and began to feel frustrated, that they couldn't find a simpler solution, than starting a war. Teeth gritting, he didn't care about the consequences about his words, he didn't care about his actions, he wanted all this to…STOP. Bursting into the room his mouth opened in rage:

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! How could you sit there and act as if what you're doing is right, are you out of your mind! You claim the village doesn't respect us, and you think starting a war is going to do that, you're just proving them right, and making them think we're a bunch of crazy ass murders! I don't want to grow up knowing that what my parents turn out to be. I'M NOT going to be involved in this!"

From that point, he didn't know, see, or feel many things:

He didn't know he had left the compound.

He didn't feel the Sharingan burning his eyes.

He didn't feel the chakra flowing through him as he left the compound.

He didn't feel his throat burn when he reached the woods and screamed.

He didn't know what jutsu's he used when he lashed out at his surroundings.

Surprisingly, he only thing felt, was his body feeling drained as he collapsed on the forest floor.

Another thing he didn't know, was that during his rant, that his brother and cousin who didn't know had returned and were resting…heard everything.

Both boys exited their rooms and were, actually shocked as they heard their younger sibling's anger. Itachi sadly suspected something like this happening. That his brother would someday have a breakdown, due to the stress and suffering that he went through.

The loud slamming of the door brought him back, as he and Shisui set of to find him. Since he was technically older than they were, he would be faster, so they had to reach him quickly, before they lost him. Fortunately, they found him minutes later in the forest. Unfortunately, they couldn't stop him from lashing out and tearing apart the area. It was only afterwards that they realized it was probably for the best. He needed to get this anger and rage of his chest, in order to start healing.

Slowly Itachi walked towards the broken boy, being careful, as even the ground had been broken. Reaching the boy, the elder went to knees and carefully cradled his brother to his chest. Although Shisui couldn't see his face, he knew this was one of the few times when his cousin would shed tears.

Back at the house

Despite the dinner being prepared, neither parent had the appetite to eat. They were beyond scared at what had just occurred. The concern they once had for their youngest child returned, and they had no clue what to do now. Their minds became blank. They still didn't know the older ones had left the house. Going after Sasuke is something they know they should have done, but for whatever reason, they were scared.

"He knows" Mikoto whispered shakily. The anger he displayed truly scared her and she began to feel helpless as she didn't know how to help her child.

Fugaku on the other hand was not only concerned, but angry that not only did his youngest knew of the family's plan to take over the village, and disagreed with it, but called him out on it, saying he was a murderer! He felt as though the boy didn't know of the true struggles their family went through.

'Of course, he wouldn't know' he though bitterly. 'He's still too young to know what the village did to his own family. But he needs to know. He needs to learn what struggles we faced.'

Both parents were lost in their thoughts that they were surprised to hear the sound of the front door. It snapped them out of their thoughts and their bodies moved towards the sound. They were surprised again to see three persons instead of one. Itachi and Shisui moved carefully while removing their shoes as they didn't want to wake the sleeping boy. Seeing his parents, Itachi motioned for them to be quiet, as they looked at the boy sleeping in his arms. Quietly the young ANBU took his sibling up to bed, while the others went to the kitchen.

The young man decided it was best for his brother to rest with him, after what had just occurred. Tucking the boy in, he sat on the edge, wanting to stay by his side, but knew that he should eat with the others, although he knew, the appetite was not there. After rubbing his head for a while, Itachi left hoping his brother would be able to rest well. He knew along with Shisui that Fugaku would not take what happened likely, despite it coming from his youngest son. As strong as he was, he was truly not looking forward to tomorrow.
