(Rose POV)

"Do you think he knows?" I heard Henry whisper to Harry, but before I could say anything, Zander cut in.

"I'm sure he does now."

"This isn't good." Sirius said, but Zander shook his head.

"Yeah, hold on, I'm going to go talk to him." I watched Zander as he turned away from our group, back toward Ollivanders and though I wanted to say something, call him back and stop him, I didn't. If anyone could do something about this, it was Zander and I trusted him. I just hoped he knew what he was doing.

While we waited for Zander, Remus, who'd gone off to get Toby a new broom from Broomstix and finally get the poor boy an Owl for getting all Os on his first OWLs last year, met up with us. When we explained to him what happened with Harry's wand, he, too, looked very uncomfortable. "Goodness, if Dumbledore finds out…"

"He won't." Sirius said and looking at the kids, I could tell we were freaking them out, so letting out a breath, I proposed Ice cream and with that offer, spirits seemed to lighten considerably, though I could tell deep down that Harry was still worried.

"How do you know?" Remus whispered, walking a little slower as I ushered the kids forward so they didn't hear the conversation, though I listened as intensely as I could.

"Zander won't let him." Sirius said. "It's Harry's choice whether or not he wants to show himself when he's old enough to understand what that decision means. Zander won't let anyone take that decision away from him.

"Well yeah, but what if Dumbledore finds out anyway?"

"Zander has a plan if that happens." I said. "It's our last resort, but he's not even told me all the details." I looked over at Harry and smiled at him as he, Henry and Toby used a bit of their money to buy their ice creams and even combined their money to buy Amber a sundae.

"Dumbledore finding out is not n option we can entertain." Sirius said. "It's better if we don't, we just have to be that careful, because letting Dumbledore know, means letting the wizarding world know and… That. Is. Not. An. Option." Remus nodded and as we all sat down, Zander returned and all of us adults bought some ice cream for ourselves.

"I took care of it." He said and as I gave him a look, he let out a breath.

"I was going to obliviate him." He began and my mouth nearly fell open. Taking away someone's memories was not a pleasant thing to do to someone and was very dangerous. "I didn't though." He added, "I ended up talking to him and told him that I would tell him the truth if he'd take an unbreakable vow of silence."

"Wow." Remus whistled and Zander shrugged.

"I will do anything to protect my family, but I made the terms easy enough."

"I made it so that he can only reveal what really happened today if Harry gives him explicit permission once he's seventeen, or unless I give him explicit permission in the next seven years.I set the vow to expire in twenty years. If anyone asks about today, he is to tell them nothing of what wand Harry was given, but that a James Darken did come in it's his twin."

"I see." Sirius nodded, impressed.

I looked over at Harry, Henry, Toby and Amber and I couldn't help but smile as I watched them. Despite everything, they were just kids, kids that were having a hard time because of things that were out of their control, but even despite that, despite the hard times, these beautiful, sweet kids always found time to laugh and play, to push each other and flick ice cream at one another.

These kids that I so adored, always found a time to love one one another.

And for that, I loved them in return and would stop at nothing to keep them safe.

(Henry POV)

After ice cream, Mum and dad with Uncle Sirius and Uncle Remus took us back through the wall and into the pub that was right in front of it, so we could sit down and make sure we had everything without all the noise around us.

Just as we sat down, we couldn't help but notice a man inside the pub, talking to the barkeep, his voice a stuttering mess. "Oui, isn't that Professor Quirrell?" Toby asked. "We were told we'd be getting a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and I think that's him.

"Can we go say hi?" I asked and Mum nodded after a moment of thought, though I could tell that she was shaken up after earlier in Ollivanders.

Making sure that no one could read my mind, I hoped Harry was doing the same as I followed him out of our seats and over to the man. "Hi!" We said in unison and the man jumped about a foot in the air as he turned to look at us.

"H-hello."

"We didn't mean to scare you." Harry began and as he spoke, I noticed my brother suddenly didn't look very great, but rather nervous himself.

"T-th-That's qui-quite a-a-alright…" As he spoke, he seemed to stare at Harry for a moment, then looking at me, he did the same. Biting my lip, I tried my best to be polite though as I said.

"You're teaching at Hogwarts next year, right?" He nodded as he looked around nervously.

"Y-yes… w-w-well… I-I-I should be going… it wa-was-was n-in-nice me-me-meeting y-y-you." Before either Harry or I could say anything else, he excused himself and left rather quickly.

"Woah, what's up with him?" I said as we made our way back to the table and Harry shrugged.

"I don't know, maybe that's just how he is."

"How is he?" Remus asked as he eyed the new Professor as he left.

"He's all weird and stuttery." I said.

"He also stared at us like he was trying to read our minds, but I was using Occlumency." As we spoke, we did so in a low tone that would make overhearing us very difficult.

"Me, too." Harry nodded and Mum sighed.

"Come on, let's just go home. We'll check if we have everything once we're there and if we need anything else, I'll come back and get them." Dad said, seeing that Mum was starting to get a little anxious over everything.

Nodding, we made sure we all had everything packed up and going back out by the brick wall, he each grabbed onto someone who could, and apperated home.

Walking to the house, we walked inside and couldn't help but smile at what we saw. Xayla, Jade, Sapphire, little Relena and Sam were inside, having a dance party and as the song changed to Dancing Queen by ABBA, Mum squealed and grabbing Zander, she went to join the dance party as the rest of us were encouraged to join, too.

The ice cream was set on the counter, but having a freezing charm on it, it would be fine for when they were ready to have it.

(Rose POV)

"You're scared." Zander said as we danced and I nodded subtly.

"Yeah, I am." When the kids had been little, everything had been so easy, I hadn't worried about the repercussions that might come if we were found out to have taken Harry.

"Everything will be okay."

He leaned his forehead on mine and I let a fearful tear escape from my eyes. Lately, things had been harder on me then I'd cared to let on, but that scare today, it was weighing on me and I felt as if I were being crushed by it. "How do you know?"

"I don't." He replied simply, "You just have to have faith that they will."

I nodded, though I was still scared, if there was one sure thing in my life, it was that I wholeheartedly trusted Zander and I did have faith in him, even if the rest was scary.

A long time ago, a young man had trusted someone close to him, had had faith in him as he allowed him to hold the secret of his life and though that faith had been misguided, it was a faith that I strived to have for my husband, the man I lived most and if all it took was to dance with him for just this moment, then I would dance my heart out, until I couldn't dance anymore.
