A/N: I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Fun Fact: Henry hates pumpkin juice.

(Harry POV)

As Christmas Holiday drew ever nearer, Henry and I made it our absolute mission to find out anything we could about Nicholas Flamel. We spent hours in the library, hours in our textbooks and even more time still discussing whatever we read. It was exhausting work, but with doing that, having Quidditch Practice still and classes, the days were flying by before I even knew the date.

We honestly had no idea who Nicholas Flamel was, what the three headed dog, Fluffy was guarding, nor even really why Snape would go after it, but Henry and I were sure of one thing.

Snape had tried to kill me.

It wasn't for a couple of days until Henry came clean about Quirrell possibly knowing about who we are, from when he'd fallen asleep in detention, but once I'd found out about it, I sighed in frustration. "Maybe Snape bullied him into telling him?" Henry suggested and I shrugged.

"The question is why wouldn't he tell Dumbledore."

"Quirrell?"

"Mhm."

"Let's just be glad Dumbledore doesn't know."

"Yeah."

When I'd been a little kid, I'd wanted more than anything to be famous and for everyone around the world to know my name. Now that I'm a bit older though, I don't think I'd like that at all. It sounds stressful and really upsetting. I wouldn't want to be under the microscope of society, and so lately, keeping my identity perfectly secret was everything and more to me. If Dumbledore found out, I felt that it would all come out and I really didn't want that.

Keeping my secret was why I did so many things the way I did and why I was careful on nearly every decision I made. Even when I made the decision to invite Ron Weasley and Urie over to our house for Christmas Holiday.

Ron's parents were going to visit one of his brothers or something and Urie didn't really have a family that wanted her, so before asking them, I had to get permission from my family, more specifically though, my aunt and uncle.

"Dad?" I poked my head into the classroom where he sat, finishing up some Next semester lesson planning. When he heard me, he looked up.

"Henry?" I shook my head and he smiled. "You're right, James. Henry would've just come in and started talking before I had any idea what's going on. Come on in." He gestured at a chair across from his desk and nodding, I came in and sat down as he stacked the papers he'd been working on, and began to put them away. "What's up?"

I watched him for a moment, suddenly wondering if doing this was a bad idea, but wanting to do something nice for some of my friends, I decided to go for it anyway. "Can I invite Urie and Ron Weasley to our House for Christmas break? Ron's parents are going out of the country and Urie doesn't really have anywhere to go. I know they could just stay here, but it might be nice for them to have a real Christmas with our family." I felt I was rambling and was sure it was because Uncle Zander would say no, but when I looked up at him, he was smiling so widely at me.

"You are just like your mother." He shook his head at his comment. "You have one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met." Then after a moment, he said. "Let me talk to your mother and we'll see what we can do." I nodded, now smiling, myself. If Aunt Rise said yes, then they'd have to prepare everyone, just as we always did when there were guests, but we were so used to it at this point, I knew it wouldn't be any trouble.

I suddenly looked at my Uncle and felt my heart constrict with how much I loved him and my aunt. They'd taken me in when I was just a baby and under the oddest circumstances, they'd made the decision to raise and love me. Even when things were harder for them, and it would've just been easier to give up, they never did. They've always been right here, where I need them and I've never once in my life felt that I was unworthy of love.

And for that, I was thankful.

I looked at my uncle now and before leaving the room, I offered him a hug, which he gladly accepted. I always liked to hug my uncle and aunt. Their arms were warm and Uncle Zander was strong and when I hugged them, I always felt safe, even when I was having dreams of my parents death.

(Henry POV)

Harry and I were in the library when we got word back from Dad that it was okay if we invited Ron and Urie over for Christmas break.

We got up immediately and left to find them, and once we told them, they were overjoyed. Then they had to ask both of their parents and once everyone was arranged, it was soon time to make our way home.

Many kids took the Hogwarts Express home for Christmas, but with Dad working at the school, All of us that were coming home, did so with him and when we arrived in the forest near the house, I explained to Urie and Ron, that Mum and Dad had put protective spells on the house back when You-Know-Who was still in power and that in the time, he'd been gone, they just couldn't have been bothered to take them off and that's why we had to walk there.

As we walked through the woods, on our way home, Urie and Ron could help but Ooooh and Awaaah at the Christmas decorations that Sirius and .Xayla had put up. They'd put twinkling fairy lights up in the trees, then, Xayla had gone out and got some actual winter fairies and getting the attached and accustomed to our property, they now flew among the lights, lighting up themselves and making the frost around us shimmer as if we were in a Winter Wonderland.

Then there was the house itself.

They'd turned the outside into a mirror image of a gingerbread house and had covered it in an assortment of decorations. There were so many that I honestly couldn't name them all as I looked up in awe of it all.

"They really go all out for guests." Uncle Zander said and I nodded. As we reached the door, it was suddenly thrown open by Amber, who squealed when she saw Harry, Toby and I, and hugged us tightly; it then began a succession of hugs from everyone that we'd left behind when coming to Hogwarts.

Little Relena was the second most excited to see us and hung off of Toby like an ornament on a tree as she told him all about the last few months and how they'd been. He laughed and listened to her, while I looked at my parents.

"Where are Ron and Urie staying?"

"We split the guest room in two and transfigured some stuff for them," Uncle Remus said and I nodded.

"Come on, guys." With that, I led them upstairs, where we had the guest rooms, which despite being cut in half, had been magically enchanted to be bigger on the inside. Uncle Sirius and Aunt Xayla really were excellent at Charmwork.

"Scabbers stop—" Ron was trying to shove the rat back in his pocket as we went past the front room, and Remus raised an eyebrow as we passed him.

"Your pet is having trouble?"

"Yeah, but it's fi— Scabbers!" The rat had left from Ron's pocket and ran off.

"Wait..?" Remus looked from where the rat had run to Ron who called after the old thing as he ran after it.

I rubbed my face in embarrassment as Ron jumped at and seized his rat, holding it tightly as he moved to get back up. "I don't know what's gotten into him."

Remus was staring at the rat now with such intensity, though he'd frozen in place. "I think I know." Remus suddenly said, his voice very quiet.
