Team Avatar and Rimuru remained in the same place as before until the policemen who took care of the thieves they had defeated earlier arrived.

Once the situation was resolved, they decided to move on to the main topic so they went to the Sato mansion, where they could talk quietly.

They were currently in the main room, with Team Avatar sitting on a couch and Rimuru sitting on another couch in front of them.

For a few seconds, there was an awkward silence.

"So, your name is Rimuru Tempest?" asked Korra.

"Yes and you don't need to introduce yourselves. Iroh told me about all of you." said Rimuru.

"Really? What exactly did he tell you?" asked Bolin curiously.

"Mako and Bolin, two street orphans who got into pro-bending as the Fire Ferrets until sometime later, Mako joined the police and Bolin went through various jobs until his current occupation at city hall as assistant to President Zhu Li. Asami Sato, daughter of Hiroshi Sato, a former ally of the Equalists, and current president of Future Industries and the Avatar's girlfriend. And Avatar Korra, discovered at age four and training at a White Lotus complex for years until you escaped and went to Republic City to learn how to airbend and then went through many challenges, among which, one caused you to be out of commission for three years." said Rimuru.

"Okay, it's clear that you know a lot of things." said Asami.

"But we don't know anything about you." said Mako.

"Right. I suppose it's only logical to tell you about me. I'm not a human to begin with." said Rimuru.

"What do you mean?" asked Korra.

In response, Rimuru's body unraveled until he transformed into his slime form, standing on the table in front of everyone who's eyes and mouths dropped open.

"I will introduce myself again. I'm Rimuru Tempest and I'm not a bad slime." said Rimuru reciting the game phrase.

Team Avatar was still completely shocked at the revelation.

"That… That's your true form?" asked Korra.

"Hard to believe that something so small and simple has shown such power." said Mako.

"You look like a cushion filled with water." said Bolin.

"Yeah, I usually surprise people like that." said Rimuru before Asami touched his body with her finger, making it bounce a little.

"Honestly, you look cuter this way." said Asami.

"Thank you." said Rimuru.

"I've never seen a spirit like you before." said Korra.

"What makes you think I'm a spirit?" asked Rimuru.

"Well, you said it was Iroh who sent you and he lives in the spirit world, wouldn't that make you a spirit?" asked Korra.

Rimuru jumped off the table and transformed into a human before sitting back down on the couch.

"Well, you're wrong. Because I don't come from the spirit world." said Rimuru.

"And where do you come from? Because there was no creature like you." said Mako.

"Well, you wouldn't if I wasn't from this world, would you?" asked Rimuru.

That took Team Avatar aback.

"Are you… Are you saying you come from another world? One different from this one and the spirit world?" asked Korra.

"Well yes." said Rimuru thinking they would deny it or ask for confirmation.

"That's great!" said Korra with a smile.

"You really come from another world? Sounds mind-blowing!" said Bolin.

"You seem to be taking it pretty well." said Rimuru.

"After all we've been through, it wouldn't be the weirdest thing." said Mako with a shrug.

"Besides, it doesn't seem like you're lying." said Asami.

"What can you tell us about your world?" asked Korra.

"Well, for starters, instead of bending, what's in my world is magic, which exists of various types. From elemental magic to divine or summoning magic." said Rimuru.

"And you can use many types of magic, right?" asked Mako.

"That's right. I possess several skills, plus I can create new ones thanks to an ability I have." said Rimuru.

"And to much honor." said Raphael.

"That's impressive." said Bolin with a smile.

"It is, but one of my main abilities is 'Predator', which allows me to devour anything. Objects, magical attacks and even living things." said Rimuru.

On one hand, Team Avatar was scared of the part that he could devour living things easily, but on the other hand, they were surprised that such an ability existed, because it didn't matter what kind of attack was thrown at him, as he could devour it with no problem.

"I can also create things by mixing various ingredients in my body." said Rimuru before taking out the mask he showed earlier from his hand.

"Amazing. So you could dispose of anything at all times." said Asami in awe.

"Well, not anything exactly, but I can do several things." began Rimuru before putting the mask away inside. "As I was saying, in my world there aren't only humans, but also monsters." said Rimuru continuing the explanation.

"Monsters?" asked Korra.

"There are two types of monsters. Those that are like wild animals and those that are almost like humans, like goblins, ogres and orcs." said Rimuru before pulling out a paper from his palm that had a picture of him with all his friends and minions. "Here's a sample."

"Wow. They look amazing." said Bolin.

"And it looks like you are good friends." said Asami.

"Yes. This is Veldora, Benimaru, Shion, Shuna, Hakuro, Souei, Gobta, Rigurd, Gabiru and Geld. The funny thing is that I gave their name to all of them." said Rimuru to the confusion of the others.

"You gave them their name? What does that mean?" asked Korra.

"You see, in that world, monsters are born without names. When a monster gets its name from someone, it becomes their subordinate." said Rimuru.

"That's a very strange rule." said Bolin.

"So, they are all your subordinates?" asked Asami.

"That's right, but I don't do it because I want to. I always ask for their consent before I name them." said Rimuru.

"That's very thoughtful of you." said Korra.

"And you named all your subordinates?" asked Mako.

"Yes. In fact, I have so many minions that I ended up founding an entire city." said Rimuru.

"Are you the leader of a city?" asked Korra surprised to hear that.

"That's right, I'm the current leader of the Jura Tempest Federation." said Rimuru.

"Wow. Then you must have named a lot of monsters." said Bolin.

"You must have a great memory if you can remember them all." said Asami.

"I know." said Rimuru laughing lightly.

"That means you must be very strong. How strong are you exactly?" asked Korra, as she was curious how much power the slime had despite having felt a taste of it before.

"I am so powerful that I received the title of Demon Lord, given to the most powerful in my world." said Rimuru.

That shocked Team Avatar, for that meant that Rimuru was one of the strongest beings in their world.

Hell, he could be more powerful than the Avatar or even several Avatars combined.

"Speaking of which, how do you know Iroh if you're from another world?" asked Korra.

"A friend of mine is a spirit who often visits the spirit world and hangs out with him. She was the one who introduced him to me and that's how I met him." said Rimuru.

"But what exactly is going on? Why would Iroh send you?" asked Asami.

"Apparently, he has sensed the spirits very uneasy and worried and fears that something bad and powerful is coming. Since my friend told him about me, he thought I could help the Avatar resolve that issue." said Rimuru surprising the team.

"Is there any word on what exactly is happening?" asked Korra.

"No. Unfortunately, he doesn't know himself, but he doesn't think you'll be able to deal with this threat on your own." said Rimuru.

Team Avatar may have fought terrible and powerful opponents, but if what the slime was saying was true and he was sent to help them by being so powerful, then that threat would be the toughest yet.

"So what should we do?" asked Bolin.

"For now, we could report this to Tenzin and Lin." said Mako.

"Good idea. We should at least prepare for whatever happens." said Asami.

"You can count on my help whenever you want." said Rimuru.

"Thank you very much, Lord Rimuru. We appreciate you going to help us in this matter." said Korra bowing in thanks, as he was someone very important.

"You don't have to thank me. I'm just doing what anyone would do in my situation." said Rimuru being modest.

"By the way, if you don't have a place to stay for the night, you can stay here." said Asami.

"Well, I guess I can't refuse that offer and since I have to help you, it's advisable that I'm nearby." said Rimuru to the delight of Asami and Korra, who also lived in the mansion.

"Don't you feel lonely having left yours behind?" asked Bolin.

"A little, but I know they are strong and smart enough to manage without me. Besides, I didn't come all alone." said Rimuru.

"Ah, no?" asked Mako.

In response, out of Rimuru's shadow came a giant wolf with two horns in a line on his forehead.

Needless to say, Team Avatar was startled by it.

"What's that?" asked Asami.

"Let me introduce Ranga. He was one of my first subordinates and since then he follows me everywhere tucked in my shadow." said Rimuru.

Korra decided to take the first step and approached the horned wolf.

"N,,, Nice to meet you, Ranga." said Korra hoping it wasn't aggressive.

"Likewise. Lord Rimuru's friends are my friends." said Ranga, taking the team by surprise.

"Ah. He can talk." said Bolin surprised to hear the monstrous animal speak.

"Well, of course it can. Ranga, return to my shadow and await news." said Rimuru.

"As you command, my lord." said Ranga before slipping into his master's shadow.

"You really are full of surprises." said Korra with a smile.

"That's what happens when you're the leader of a city of monsters." said Rimuru making the Team Avatar members laugh.
