It was another bright day in Republic City.

Right now, Rimuru was with Team Avatar relaxing quietly in the park as they spent a day together.

"Did you really make a lot of progress on that project?" asked Mako.

"Yes and thanks to Lord Rimuru." said Asami.

"No need to thank me. I only gave a little advice." said Rimuru.

"Still it was very helpful. Now I would only need one key ingredient to make the project work perfectly." said Asami.

"I'm sure you'll find that secret ingredient." said Korra.

"I just hope it's the right one. I don't feel like experiencing what happened with Varrick again." said Bolin before the others laughed lightly.

"So, how do you like our city, Lord Rimuru?" asked Korra.

"Quite impressive. In fact, I may even have a meeting with President Zhu Li after this is over to come to an agreement between our cities." said Rimuru.

"Oh, yes. That would be interesting. In fact, I'd like to meet your city someday." said Korra.

"I'll keep that in mind." said Rimuru with a smile.

"Agent Mako. Agent Mako." called Lin from Mako's radio, who quickly picked it up to answer the call.

"What's up, chief?" asked Mako.

"We've detected members of the Triple Threat Triad fleeing around the south-southwest corner near Avatar Korra Park." said Lin.

"We'll meet you right there, Lin. We'll join up right away." said Korra.

"Copy that." said Lin before cutting the call.

"You in, Lord Rimuru?" asked Asami.

"Signing up for a police chase? I'd be offended if I didn't." said Rimuru accepting the invitation.

"Then we must hurry. They could be very close to here." said Mako.

Wasting no time, the group of five climbed into the team's satomobile and set off.

For a few minutes they were scouring the city streets in search of the suspect vehicle.

"They could be anywhere. How will we find them?" asked Bolin.

"Raphael, do you think you can locate them?" asked Rimuru.

"Analysis. Detected an object moving at high speeds." said Raphael.

"Which direction?" asked Rimuru before receiving the directions of the skill. "Asami, go down that street and turn right at the next intersection!" said Rimuru.

"Okay. If you say so." said Asami directing the satomobile to where the human slime indicated.

Just as they reached the point he indicated, a van passed near them at high speed.

"There they are. That's them!" said Mako.

"Speed up, Asami." said Korra before her girlfriend stepped on the accelerator, steering the satomobile until it was behind the van.

Soon after, four bikers positioned themselves around the van.

"Looks like they're coming with company." said Bolin.

"And I don't think it's the good kind." said Rimuru.

One of the bikers shot a lightning that was aimed at the wheels of the Team Avatar's satomobile, but Rimuru managed to neutralize it with a black lightning.

After that, Korra, Mako and Bolin started shooting elemental attacks at the bikers who dodged the attacks while also shooting their elemental attacks which Asami dodged with her driving behind the wheel.

Rimuru decided to make his move by shooting a spider thread that got entangled in one of the bikers, causing him to lose control of his bike and crash.

Bolin took advantage of that, creating a bump in the path of another of the bikers who was distracted launching his attacks, causing him to be sent airborne and crash into a stand of cabbages.

"My cabbages!" shouted the stall keeper.

"Hmm. I feel like I heard that somewhere." commented Korra.

A biker threw a huge drop of water, but Mako managed to evaporate it with a huge fireball.

Using the steam as a smokescreen, Korra created with her two metal balls a metal shuriken similar to Bolin's and threw it at the biker, or rather, at the wheel of his motorcycle which caused the biker to crash.

The last biker approached the van and hit it a couple of times which caused the back door to open to reveal a pair of men with several wooden boxes behind them.

The two men created fireballs between their hands which they threw towards each other, causing an explosion that left a cloud of smoke in the process.

The group of five began to cough as the smoke reached them.

"Korra!" said Asami trying to focus her gaze on the road despite the smoke.

"I'm on it." said Korra before using airbending to break up the smoke.

However, they discovered that the criminals had used that to get further away from them.

"They're moving away!" said Bolin.

"I have an idea." began Rimuru before returning to his slime form and jumping towards Korra who grabbed him with one hand. "Throw me towards the van."

"What? Are you sure?" asked Korra surprised by the slime's request.

"Trust me." said Rimuru.

That was enough to convince the Avatar who nodded at him with a serious look before tossing him towards the van like a baseball.

Unfortunately, the result was that it ended up hitting the van door like a water balloon.

"Uh." expressed Team Avatar upon seeing how the slime ended up.

"This didn't turn out the way I thought it would, but still…" began Rimuru before reforming and slipping inside by sneaking through the crack between the back doors of the van.

Inside the van, the two men were talking about the situation from earlier.

"Do you think we've thrown them off?" asked a tall, muscular man.

"I hope so. It would be terrible for us if the Avatar got hold of our merchandise." said a thin man.

It was then that the two men noticed a blue substance squeezing through the crack between the doors and coalescing to form a blob-like creature.

"Greetings, gentlemen." said Rimuru.

"Huh? What the hell is that thing?" asked the thin man.

Rimuru transformed into his human form, to the amazement of the men.

"Your worst nightmare." said Rimuru with a smile.

From the front seat, the driver was driving the van calmly until he began to hear sounds of fighting in the back, so he banged his fist on the back wall without taking his eyes off the road.

"Quiet back there! If you want to kill each other, wait until we get to our destination!" said the driver.

Suddenly, the window connecting to the back opened and out came Rimuru in his slime form before turning human to sit in the passenger seat, something that noticed and alarmed the driver.

"What the hell…?" asked the driver.

"Sorry, but this is your stop." said Rimuru before shooting a cloud of yellow gas from his mouth.

From outside, the Team Avatar and the last biker watched as the van was rocking back and forth before regaining control.

The rider was confused and intended to go check the situation, but Korra acted quickly and covered the ground in front with water that froze in less than a second, causing the rider to slip and crash into a lamppost.

Eventually, the van drove around for a while until it stopped, with the Team Avatar satomobile pulling up behind it.

Team Avatar got out of the vehicle and approached the van doors ready to fight if necessary, but when the driver's door opened, the driver was seen in a panicked pose and expression as if frozen before he fell to the ground in the same posture.

Looking up, everyone saw Rimuru smiling with one hand on the steering wheel and the other arm resting on the seat.

"Special delivery." said Rimuru with a wink.

Later, Team Avatar and Rimuru tied up all the criminals while they waited for the police to take them to jail.

"This is where it ends." said Korra.

"I wonder what they were transporting?" said Asami looking at the boxes in the van.

"It must be something very important if they intended to fight over it." said Mako.

"There's only one way to check" began Bolin before getting into the back of the van and opening one of the boxes, only to be left wide-eyed as soon as he saw the contents. "Uh… Guys, I think you should see this."

The others entered the van and the other members of Team Avatar were shocked when they saw that the box was filled with metal sticks and tech gloves.

"What's all this?" asked Rimuru in confusion.

"They're Equalist weapons." said Korra.

"The Equalists? You mean that terrorist group whose leader, who wanted equality, had the power to wrest power from the benders, but turned out to be a bloodbender?" asked Rimuru remembering what he was told about the Avatar's enemies.

"That's right and all those weapons were used by them." began Asami before picking up a pair of metal sticks. "In fact, these were the weapons used by the lieutenant."

"Yes, I still remember the damage they caused when they touched you." said Bolin remembering his first fight with the lieutenant.

"But why would the Triple Threat Triad have weapons from a gang that disappeared years ago?" asked Korra.

"We'd better ask." began Mako before the group approached the detained criminals. "What do you intend to do with that merchandise?"

"We'll never tell you." said the thin man.

"Yes, you can do whatever you want to us, but we won't say a word about our plans." said the big, muscular man.

"All right. We won't force you to say anything." began Rimuru with a smile, much to the confusion of Team Avatar. "But it will be boring for you to stand there waiting for the police. So I'll let you play with Ranga for a while."

That made Team Avatar begin to understand what the human slime was planning.

"W-Who's Ranga?" asked the thin man.

In response, Ranga stepped out of Rimuru's shadow and stood in front of the criminals.

"This is Ranga." began Rimuru as Ranga threw a snarl at the criminals. "Although… I think I'll give you a choice. You can talk about what you were doing or you can stay and play with Ranga and I'll warn you that he likes to chew on his toys."

The criminals started to tremble with fear when they saw the horned wolf move his face towards them as he bared his sharp fangs.

"Okay! Okay! All right! We'll talk, but get that monster away from us!" the thin man exclaimed in panic.

"That's what I wanted to hear." said Rimuru before Ranga stopped growling and stood beside his master with a happy expression.

"Well done, Ranga." said Korra as she petted the horned wolf, much to his enjoyment.

Soon after, the group of five were at Lin Beifong's office to tell them what they found out because of the criminals' confessions.

"So, what did you find out?" asked Lin.

"It seems that after Tokuga's disappearance, the Triple Threat Triad has been trying to recover." said Mako.

"To that end, they've been gathering material from the Equalists and Kuvira's troops." said Asami.

"They've even been recruiting people from other Triads." said Bolin.

"And what were they planning to do with that cargo we confiscated?" asked Lin.

"From what we've been told, they were planning to take it to their secret base where they store all the material they plan to use to regain the territories they lost." said Korra.

"Which would end up in a gang war that would affect the entire city." said Rimuru.

"Then we have to stop them as soon as possible. Did they at least say where their base was?" asked Lin.

"It was a bit hard to convince them." began Rimuru remembering that he had to threaten them with Ranga again. "But we managed to get the exact location."

"They seem to be hiding in a building located in the areas affected by the spirit plants." said Korra.

"It's a good place to hide, since hardly anyone passes by except for the spirits." said Mako.

"Typical bad guys. Hiding in the last place someone wouldn't expect." said Bolin.

"In that case, I'll gather my men for an assault on the enemy base." said Lin rising from her seat.

"You can count on us." said Asami.

"It will be my pleasure to assist in the assault." said Rimuru.

A couple of hours later, Team Avatar, Rimuru, Lin and several policemen were standing around a huge building that was covered by spirit plants.

"Shouldn't we attack already?" asked Rimuru.

"No. It could be a red herring or a trap, so we should wait for confirmation first." said Korra.

"You're learning, girl." began Lin before standing in front and using seismic sense to detect the surrounding area. "There appears to be a passageway leading to a series of subway chambers beneath the area."

"It was probably made by the earthbenders so that we wouldn't find them in case we located this place." said Mako.

"So, is the area clear?" asked Bolin.

"No, there are three men standing in the main room. Probably standing guard." said Lin.

"Then it will be easy to get them out." said Asami.

Inside, three men were sitting around a table playing a game of poker.

Suddenly, they had to stop their game when Rimuru kicked open the door.

"Freeze everyone! You're under arrest!" exclaimed Rimuru alerting the men. "I had always wanted to say that!" thought Rimuru with childish excitement.

Before the men could act, Korra and Lin rushed in and tied them up with metal ropes.

"Was it necessary to make that entrance?" asked Lin to the human slime.

"Hehe. Sorry. The excitement of the situation." said Rimuru with a nervous smile.

"Honestly, I would have done the same." said Korra with a smile.

Soon after, the room was filled with police and Team Avatar.

With an earthbending move, Lin opened a hole that revealed a spiral staircase going down very deep.

"Wow. That sure is deep." said Bolin.

"Looks like they've been here a lot longer than we thought." said Mako.

"Let's not waste time. We'll go in line and if we see anyone suspicious, we'll arrest them on the spot." said Lin.

After receiving a nod from everyone, one by one they made their way down the stairs until they reached a hallway lit by small lamps.

Mako and Korra lit the way with their own flames as they led the others down the hallway.

It was then that they came upon a section that split the path in three different directions.

"So what do we do now?" asked Asami.

"We split up. Korra, you take yours down the tunnel on the right. I'll take my men down the one on the left. The rest of you take the middle one. Keep me informed at all times in case anything happens." said Lin.

With the groups chosen, each went into their corresponding tunnel.

Korra and Rimuru's group was walking down the tunnel for a while.

"Warning. Unknown presence of several subjects detected a couple of kilometers from current location." said Raphael.

Hearing that, Rimuru stopped the others.

"I feel like we're approaching a crowded place." said Rimuru.

"Then we'd better go with stealth and caution." said Korra extinguishing her flame, as did Mako as Asami donned the electrified gauntlet.

The group of five walked silently down the tunnel until they came upon a huge wooden door.

"Ten yuan says they'll be behind that door." said Bolin.

"Let me open it." said Rimuru standing in front of the door and punching it so hard that it easily knocked it down.

Honestly, after what they saw the slime do, the others weren't as surprised as before.

The collapse of the door, allowed the group to see a huge room filled with various boxes with a table in the center and several people sitting around it, who were alarmed as soon as they saw the group where the door used to be.

"Police! Hands where I can see them!" demanded Mako.

Unfortunately, one of those men responded with a lightning that Rimuru devoured with his skill.

"I think they have no intention of giving up." said Rimuru.

"Well, let's show them why they made a bad decision." said Korra cracking her knuckles with a smile of excitement.

One of the criminals threw a series of stone stalagmites at Asami from the ground, but Asami managed to dodge them before using one of them as a springboard to launch herself towards the criminal and touch his face with her electrified gauntlet and as the criminal screamed in pain, Asami turned her body to lift the criminal above her and impact him against the ground while still holding his face with the gauntlet.

Another of the criminals launched a blast of water towards Bolin, who blocked it with a wall of lava before hardening it into rock which he then split into multiple stones which he quickly shot at the criminal, knocking him down in the process.

Another criminal created a pair of fire whips which he tried to attack Mako with, but he dodged a couple of whips before creating his own fire whips which he used to block the whips.

Just as he dodged another whip, Mako launched a fireball from a kick that the criminal destroyed with a fire whip, which Mako took advantage of to hit him with his whips in X position, knocking him down afterwards.

Korra stood between two criminals who launched a rock and a fireball, but Korra managed to block both attacks with a cover of water that she then froze and turned into ice projectiles to throw at the criminals who neutralized them with her elements.

Then, with a stomp, she generated an earth wave that knocked the two criminals down and before they could get up, Korra bound them with her metal balls that she turned into ribbons.

Rimuru was facing a pair of criminals who launched a combined fire attack, but Rimuru simply walked through the fire like it was nothing, as he was immune to fire, which scared the criminals.

Before they could react, Rimuru shot a spider thread at them, which tied them both up and left them hanging upside down in mid-air.

By then, all the criminals in the room were either down or tied up.

"Was that all of them?" asked Korra.

"It looks like it was. I don't detect anyone else in this room." said Rimuru.

"I'll report back." began Mako before picking up his radio. "Chief Beifong, this is Agent Mako, do you read me?"

"This is Chief Beifong. Situation report." said Lin from the other end of the line.

"We have found a room full of boxes and some people we have detained." said Mako explaining the situation.

"We have also found a similar room, but we managed to neutralize everyone in there and just recently, the third squadron reported to me that they were in the same situation." said Lin.

"I guess that means the mission is over." said Bolin.

"Yes. Now no one will use all this stuff for bad things." said Asami.

"What did you think, Lord Rimuru?" asked Korra.

"Honestly, I haven't had fun like this in a long time." said Rimuru before the group burst out laughing.
