I skated down the city of LA. I was calling out for Charizard.
This Can't be so hard finding a big Fire-Flying Pokémon, it's huge! or, is it? and I'm just not looking?
I skated faster, searching the skies for my Pokémon. I was scared now, as a trainer. I was responsible for each of my Pokémon's safety, this Isn't the world of Pokémon—this was real life! And I heard of some consequences of animal endangerment. Hopefully—Pokémon endangerment wasn't as harsh.
Right?
I found finally him, sitting on the mountain near the Hollywood Sign. I sighed in relief as I saw his tail flame burning brightly. I climbed to the top. Charizard saw me and crossed his arms.
"Charizard."
it huffed at me and turned his head. I sighed and scooted closer to my Pokémon. I leaned in, resting my head on his side, Charizard looked at me, he felt bad that he snuck out and worried about me like that.
I looked at him and smiled "Glad that you're okay, Charizard… I thought Megaton was going to come after you." The Pokémon growled in thanks and roared, shooting flames into the sky from his mouth. I smiled and laughed.
"Why won't we go home, okay buddy?" I asked him. Charizard nodded in agreement and went home. I opened the door to the side of the house silently, I walked upstairs and slipped into bed.
The sun hit my face. I opened my eyes as I sat up and yawned. I looked at my phone and smiled. It was almost my birthday. I got out of bed and showered.
I then washed my Pokémon too. Except Charizard and Onix—who are weak to water.
I was downstairs, I was getting my Pokémon food and made myself a bowl of oatmeal.
"Pika!" Pikachu jumped on me and I smiled.
"Are you done, buddy, you wanna watch TV, Gumball?" Pikachu smiled and nodded. I smiled and we went to the couch, I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV and switched it to Cartoon Network and we watched the show. Just then. My father and Ironhide both walked downstairs.
"Hey." I greeted them. Will and Ironhide waved and went into the kitchen. I continued watching the show with Pikachu, while my other Pokémon sat in the kitchen finishing up their breakfast.
I turned back.
"Hey, can Sam pick me up so we can go to the mall?" I asked.
"Sure." Will said, eating his cereal, I smiled and texted Sam. Sam then texted back in agreement. I put my stuff in the sink and went upstairs to his room to get dressed to meet up with him and Bee.
I waited for Sam to pick me up. Pikachu was on my shoulder—my Pokémon were coming too. Will and Ironhide already left for base, so it was just me, Sam and my six Pokémon for a couple of hours until they came back.
He saw the yellow and black Camaro pull up, and I got in. Pikachu jumped in my lap, I held him as I closed the door.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, I got a PlayStation 5." Sam said.
"What?! aw, lucky! broooo how?!"
"NEST."
"Are you for real?" I asked, brushing my hair out of my face.
"Yeah, I'm not lying. wanna go to my place after we hit the mall, I'll let you play Call of Duty; Cold War…"
"Alright, sweet!" I said as I pulled out my phone. Sam pulled out his and he played music in Bumblebee.
"What are you putting on?"
"Green Day." Sam put on At the Library, we drove to Los Angeles.
We parked at the mall, Bumblebee activated his holoform and we all went in, my Pikachu sat on my shoulder as we walked in. The mall they were in had no roof, so that sunlight can go in naturally. Sam looked at a sign that was on the door that said; 'NO LARGE POKEMON OUTSIDE OF THEIR POKÉ BALLS! IF YOU WANT TO RELEASE YOUR POKÉMON WE HAVE A GARDEN ON THE ROOF SPECIALLY FOR POKÉMON!'
"Hey dude. We can go to the rooftop garden that's here so you can release Onix and Charizard."
"Okay, that's a good idea! I have some berries in my backpack so I can feed them."
"You don't have Pokémon food?"
"I fed them Pokémon food. I'll feed them again when I go home." Sam nodded as we walked around the mall.
"Dude, I wish you had Pokémon."
"I do, I have one though, I have a Torchic."
"Why didn't you bring it?" I asked.
"I have him." He pulled out a small Poké Ball from his pocket and pressed the button to make it bigger. Sam threw his Poké ball and it opened then a flash of light came out. Torchic appeared.
"Torchic!" it said, jumping on his trainer. Sam smiled, holding it. The Pokémon saw Bumblebee's holoform and jumped on him. Bumblebee smiled as he held the fire type Pokémon. They saw people walking around with their Pokémon too. Some people didn't have Pokémon with them. We went towards the elevator and went inside. I pressed the top floor and they went up to the garden.
The garden was huge. People and their Pokémon were playing with them or feeding them. I Sam, Bee, Pikachu and Torchic were amazed. Pikachu and Torchic jumped off our shoulders and they ran around, playing with the other Pokémon. I brought all my Pokémon out, including Onix and Charizard, the garden had flowers and berries to be picked off of the naturally growing berry trees in the middle of the garden. Red, blue, pink and green flowers were everywhere, there was even a pond for water type Pokémon to play in.
"Ninja!" my Greninja said as he jumped into the pond for a swim to cool off from the California heat. I saw a bar with a man wearing a white shirt with a red Poké Ball outline on the left side. He walked up to the bar.
"Excuse me? can we get three waters please?" Sam asked.
"Yes, you can." The brown-haired man had a big smile on his face, a Bulbasaur walked up to the man.
"Sour!" he said, handing the metal try to his trainer with his vine whip.
"Wow." Sam said "Is he your Pokémon?" Bee asked.
"Yes, he is." He smiled.
"That's so cool!" I said, smiling at him.
The man handed their waters to them. Sam adjusted his hat and went into his wallet and pulled out a hundred-dollar bill.
"Thank you, but all people with Pokémon can get stuff here for free." Sam smiled and nodded, Sam grabbed the bottle and handed one to his bestie.
"Thanks." Bumblebee said, opening the cap, his guardian took a drink out of his.
"Bee?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Why don't you have a Pokémon?"
"I don't need one, Lance." Bee said
"Makes sense why you don't have a Pokémon."
Sam sat at a table with them, Bee pulled out a Frisbee from his backpack and they played Frisbee with his friends.
We all went to Sam's house in LA, we got out of Bumblebee and walked to the door and opened it. Judy Witwicky was in the kitchen.
"Hi, Mrs. Witwicky." I waved.
"Hello, Lance! I saw your battle on TV." I sighed and hung his head. Pikachu pats his friend on the shoulder in support. Then Sam jumped in, defending me.
"Mom, I don't think that's a good idea to mention that."
"Why not."
"It's okay, Sam. we're going to base tomorrow to train."
"Who has Pokémon there?"
"Epps and other soldiers."
Sam nodded, it made sense. After the battle of Los Angeles for the AllSpark back in 2007. The government decided to give people Pokémon to protect themselves from Decepticons. Or if they don't want to fight, they have Gyms where they can earn eight Gym Badges and go to the San Francisco Pokémon league. But Sam has one Pokémon, if he wants to enter he needs five more.
We went back to my house, I opened the door and went inside. I got everyone out and fed everyone their dinner. Then we got some training in. both my father and Ironhide came home that evening, we had dinner and went to bed.
