Dear Will,
Things have changed since the last time I wrote. I've moved back home temporarily. The apartment's silence made the place unlivable. It became too much. After I called Mom after the beach trip, she suggested it.
It's not like I've just been sitting around, doing nothing. I've started to work at Bradley's Big Buys. I remember all the late-night runs we made there for snacks when campaigns lasted all night. I'm still paying rent at my place.
I've also been helping Jonathan and Nancy around the house. It's mostly moving furniture. They need some extra help since Nancy will give birth any second. The nursery is complete. The exact due date is July twenty-third.
I'm going on a podcast tomorrow. It's one of those true crime podcasts called "The Sherlock Holmes Clan." This month, they're dedicating every episode to unsolved crimes against the LGBT+ community. They're doing a chapter on your disappearance. I agreed to give an interview. I hope it brings more attention to your case.
Nancy and I had a heart-to-heart. She recommended me a support group. It's for people who've had loved ones who've gone missing. Maybe it'll help. There's a chapter here in Hawkins. I never realized just how many people have gone missing in this town.
I went back to the arcade. I stood at the exact spot I saw you last. I think I stood there for a good thirty minutes. I got my fair share of dirty looks. Then, I went inside and played Dragon's Layer. All these years later and Max still held the high score.
I don't have much to say. Things have been slow ever since I moved back to Hawkins. All of our friends are doing well. Dustin and Jane are coming into town next weekend. Max and Lucas are visiting sometime in July. I hope one day to have the entire party back together again.
Love, your boyfriend,
Mike
A/N: Three more chapters to go! The following chapters are July, August, and the epilogue.
