Sakiya was surprised when she saw the group that was surrounding Naruto. On the right of the Hokage was a man with black hair, and a goatee. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail, he wore a cream coloured coat, black shirt, and black pants with black gloves. He was standing with his hands shoved in his pockets, the gloves were visible from the tops of his pockets, indicating they only superficially in his pocket. He also had a cigarette in his mouth. He wore black sandals and a bored expression on his face. Around his neck was a silver chain with a hoop shaped pendant.

On the left of Naruto was another man with black hair, who bore no facial hair. He had a solemn expression to his face, and wore a black cape with a storm flap. Underneath the cloak he wore a grey long sleeved, collared shirt with light grey cuffs. Over the shirt was a periwinkle vest paired with black pants and brown sandals. There was also a young woman with dark brown hair, wearing an orange kimono with a yellow floral pattern. She had featureless white eyes, which Sakiya knew was a signature trait of the Hyuga clan, and thusly the woman had to be Naruto's sister-in-law, Hanabi.

The next person in the group was the one that almost caused her to pause in her tracks. He had white hair, dark eyes, and wore a mask over the lower half of his face. There was no mistaking it, Kakashi Hatake, the sixth Hokage was part of the group to help her put her plan into motion to get back on track with her mission.

She wordlessly joined them, nodding in greeting. The group stood surprised and observing her intently before Hanabi broke the silence, "So you're part of a group that's been called the 'Konoha immortals'? It's funny, I thought you'd be a bit… more mature."

"You mean you thought I'd better resemble a grown up than a teenager," Sakiya corrected the Hyuga woman. She gave a small shrug of her shoulders as she added, "Sorry to disappoint you but you'll appear to outsiders as if you're escorting some nobody kid. Let me say though, I don't particularily like the idea of asking you to partake in this. If I had another avenue I'd gladly take it, but alas, I don't."

Haring this Shikamaru's cigarette dropped from his mouth and he crushed it under his foot with a remark of, "we may not have interacted with you before, but you have nothing to feel guilty over when asking us for help."

It was Kakashi who followed up with, "You were born here, regardless of where your parents come from, that makes you as much a part of this village as any of us."

"And we've all sworn to defend this village and its inhabitants. We'll help in any way we can," Sasuke concluded. Hanabi nodded before chiming in with, "Kakashi, Sasuke and myself have abilities that allow us to see the chakra flow of a person. My ability allows me to see their next move, and block the flow of chakra within their body. Sasuke's allows him to mimick the techniques of others. That's why Naruto asked us to join you."

"In addition to that, while I may not be a medical ninja, I am skilled with mystical palm. If you should find yourself injured, come to myself or Naruto," Sasuke advised.

At this, Sakiya blinked repeatedly before looking to the Seventh Hokage who seemed to be laughing as he explained, "I can't use mystical palm technique, but Kurama allows me to heal my allies."

"I see. I suppose a bit of show and tell would be in order first. Please gather in close, I would prefer to not walk to their location as doing so could alert the wrong people to where I've kept them safe thus far," the dark haired girl requested of them.

The adults complied coming in close to her. A white bandage seemingly appeared from nowhere and wrapped around the group while Sakiya whispered something under her breath and there was a loud pop. Afterwards the white bandage that had surrounded them dissipated and the Jonin were amazed to find themselves surrounded by what almost looked like one of Orochimaru's old lairs. Shikamaru gasped as he glanced around, noting several things around them. First there was obviously a power source from somewhere to keep this place running, that would be obvious to anyone. Second there was some sophisticated high tech equipment in this place, but what shocked him was the sight of what appeared to be three people without any medical equipment attached to them appearing in what seemed to be an orange hexagonal shaped chamber. They had some obvious fatal injuries that appeared to be somehow healed, leaving scars in their place.

"The coined nickname for us, 'the Konoha immortals', is a misnomer. We are not immortal. We just age very slowly. Shikamaru Nara is correct, I was born in Konohagakure—one hundred fourteen years ago, in the first year that we were here," Sakiya revealed.

Three sets of stunned eyes gazed her in astonishment, however Naruto and Hanabi appeared in different. Sakiya approached the three that were in the hexagonal objects and continued, "They fell at different times. Aunt Minori used a barrier that allowed her to use her own reiatsu to reinforce any damaged areas when the nine tails attacked Konoha over thirty years ago, she was the first to fall—and the most skilled at kido on the mission. Uncle Kiyoshi and I were able to get her into this barrier and he was able to heal most of her injuries but despite that when we removed her from the barrier, she didn't wake up."

Her eyes looked to the blue haired woman, placing her hand over the orange energy that enclosed her, as she added, "I'm not a fully trained healer, and I'm not a kido master, I'm proficient, but I'm not exemplary like she is. At best, you might be able to rank me as an expert. Except for two spells that I excel at, one allows for an advantage in tactical strategy, the other when properly utilized inflicts severe damage upon an opponent—and it's not surprising that I can master them. On at least one side of my family, they're spells that those of my bloodline have a natural affinity for."

Her gaze then went to the white haired woman who had seemingly been sliced in half, as she recounted, "after the infinite Tsukiyomi was broken, there was a shockwave that threatened all who had hidden in the tunnels within the mountains of Konoha. Mom used herself as a catalyst of sacrifice to take the full impact of that blast herself. Again Uncle Kiyoshi and I reacted quickly to preserve her. Uncle Yoshi was able to heal her and taught me more about kaido, our version of mystical palm technique. I was getting almost as good as he was. Considering that during his time in the Gotei thirteen, he was the second best healer in our world, that's saying quite a bit."

Her eyes then fell onto the blonde haired man who's tattered shirt revealed the healed injuries he ha sustained to his upper torso, including his heart.

"The people we were sent here to handle—the defectors—are former mid to high ranking members of the Gotei thirteen who turned on Soul Society—where my mom, Aunt and Uncle come from—and the same organization they're part of," Sakiya began. Her voice shook a little as she admitted, "I know the pain that the scrolls of Jashin have caused you, Shikamaru Nara—and although you couldn't see us, you didn't face Hidan alone. We were there, offering what support and in direct intervention we could. We usually operate with strict laws: No direct contact with humans. Don't disrupt the natural path of a human's life. A willful attack upon a human is a death sentence for my kind. We're sworn to protect their souls and that includes not taking their life before their time."

She couldn't bring herself to look at the shadow wielding Shinobi as she confessed, "I wanted to intervene—but although I didn't swear any oaths, they did. For what it's worth, I am sorry for the anguish those scrolls have caused. The defectors that we're after are why the four of us came to this world, to this village—but it's also deeper than that."

Naruto's mouth was dry as he gently pressed her, "Sakiya?"

"The reason why my mom was chosen to head this mission, is because out of all of us, she's the lone agent with Captain level power, and in fact if the scrolls hadn't been discovered to be missing a few minutes longer, she would officially hold the rank of Captain—but there's more to it. My mother, myself and our relatives are able to deal with the spiritual consequences of these scrolls, seal them, and handle them for one very simple reason—the one who originally wrote the scrolls of Jashin is unfortunately a distant ancestor of ours—and the reason why we became known as the former sixth greater noble house of Soul Society," Sakiya confessed.

She kept her back to the Shinobi, tears coming down her face, unable to look them in the eyes as spoke her greatest shame, "that's our bloodline's legacy."
