Sorry about the long wait everyone. This chapter was a pain to write…I had a lot of writer's block…trying to figure out which direction I should take with the story since it went through several re-writes in my rough draft.
Anyways, here is the new addition. I hope you'll like it!
…
Chapter sixty-one: Redemption Part 1
I really wish life wasn't against me as of late…but it seems like everything is going in circles…
It's nighttime and we've been in this blasted police station for hours. Still no word from the Viridian agents and, more importantly, still no sign of Orion and Eev.
Jennifer is pacing back and forth as Rigel eyed her like a Persian. The boy is NOT happy with her right now. Quite frankly I should be the one angry, but I'm just not sure anymore what to feel about it all. I looked at her regretful demeanor…full of shame and pain…as if she thinks she's the reason I ended up as a Pikachu. I ought to blame her for causing me to freak out in the store…for things she did behind the scenes…and causing me to return to Kanto and getting captured by Team Rocket; however, that's not why…seeing all these grunts: they are unapologetically cruel. Yet, there were exceptions like Cy. I mean, back at the Outpost he looked as though he saw the error of his ways and maybe he could have changed. Why not Jennifer too, who's not to say she, like Ansel, wanted a road to redemption of sorts? Who the hell cares anymore…I just want this all to end…get rid of Team Rocket and this splinter faction once and for all…
As if on cue, two men walked in as we all finally gather around them.
"We found your Pokémon" one of them simply stated as all our eyes lit up with excitement!
"Where are they!?" Rigel asked impatiently.
"Not too far away" the leader answered.
"However" the other agent stepped in, "we cannot bring them to you as of right now."
"We will bring them to you as soon as we can."
"We need to see them now!" The teen trainer huffed, clenching his fists a bit in response.
"We understand your frustration, truly…we do; however, those grunts are still at large."
"They were spooked and now they're in hiding again" the leader added.
"They're not too far away either…it seems they're using some sort of underground network and Outposts in the area to get around in the city.
That reminds me of how they got around in Viridian City…maybe they have safehouses all around…does that mean there's some sort of "web" of grunts operating all around us? That's scary enough as it is and I hope I'm wrong…
Jennifer walked up, folding her arms in protest to the two agent's refusal to hand over Rigel's Pokémon, "so what more do you want from us!?" She finally snapped, but unfortunately for her the agents were not intimidated one bit by her outburst.
"We need your help. Rigel, you are being tracked by these men and somehow, we need to entrap them."
"We are taking you three to a safe house for now."
"We will try and get your Pokémon there too. In the meantime, we'll get everything ready and will come to get you all." they finished. The agents, along with some other officers that were present, walked away. Rigel looks to Jennifer who sighed softly to herself.
Some time passed before one officer approached the boy, Rigel, "We called your parents. They wish to speak with you."
The teenage trainer softly nodded, relieved by the news even if he kind of expected a harsh reprimand. Rigel follows as I stay behind with Jennifer in the meantime. I glance over at her momentarily before she locks eyes on me. Very shortly after, however, she looks away…shame overwhelms her.
…
Rigel is taken into a small office to the side by the cop. A phone is seen on the desk and the boy sits down on the slightly large chair.
"We explained everything to them. Please, take your time."
And so, the young teen picked up the phone and the man turned off the hold button for him, "m-mom…dad?" He introduced himself and on the other line he heard two relieved, yet extremely concerned, voices.
"Rigel, thank goodness!" His mother cried out.
"Rigel, are you alright!?" His father stepped in.
Their son sighed softly before clearing his throat, "yeah…I'm okay" he muttered.
"We're coming sweetheart!" Maybelline sobbed softly on the other line.
"They told us what happened. We're on our way to Saffron City" his dad stated.
"Guys…" Rigel started to say but George, his father, intervened with a serious inflection in his voice, "listen son…you NEED to listen to these people and be with their company at ALL times. Please listen to them, we will see you soon!"
"We love you, Rigel. Please stay safe!" His mother concluded.
"I-I will…" Rigel closed the conversation, "see you guys soon…" he hung up.
"Wanna go back to the others?" The officer asked as Rigel turned to him before the kid nodded his head.
Meanwhile, while all this is going on, I had been pacing back and forth as I silently thought to myself: safe house, so we're no longer going to be used as bait, or do these cops have something else in mind? This man…Detective Yoshida…can he and his partner really help us in stopping Team Rocket (or what's left of them) once and for all? Who am I kidding? There's probably a heck of a lot more grunts than they're telling us…maybe it's a whole army we're against…if so, how is it even possible to stop them? Jennifer…damn it…why? Why did you have to complicate all of this? How can I even trust you anymore? I want to, but Orion and Rigel surely can't bring themselves to. This Rk guy is serious business…quite obsessed with us. I guess he wants revenge…or maybe he wants us so he can get to Cy and his female accomplice? I don't blame that man…our group pretty much drove them out of the Viridian Forest. Bartoli…m-maybe it's all…Bartoli…I mean, she wants us captured…maybe she sent these grunts after us to get me? I never trusted that witch for a moment, I KNEW she couldn't resist going after us again…
"Come on" the officer arrived with Rigel, snapping me out of my lonely trance. Jennifer sighed, holstering her Pokéball that had Eev inside it.
And so, we three are guided by several police officers to an underground parking lot where we are put into an unmarked black car and driven out. Once we exit to the surface, we are driven to an apartment complex not too far away from the precinct. It's three old brick buildings facing each other and from the air all three have the shape of a cross.
We exit the vehicle and are quickly escorted into one of the buildings. Shortly after, we go up a flight of stairs and into an apartment floor: and finally the room we will stay in. Two officers stand guard outside the entrance after we enter the room.
Rigel, Jennifer, and I are met with a generic looking room with two beds and a simple television set. Across the beds there is a window to the outside world…with a view of the Saffron skyline.
The officer who had led us here stands idly by the door as we lay our stuff on the beds.
"The detectives will be here soon as will your Pokemon, Jennifer and Rigel" they explained, "I'll be outside if you need anything. Please do not hesitate to get me if you need anything." And so, they left the room and the humans beside me explored the small room. The young black-haired teen took off his cap and grey flannel…setting them on a sofa-chair.
Using his example, I finally take this opportunity to take off my ripped clothing…the same clothes I've had since getting them at the mall in Viridian City. It's clear to me that they are beyond repair after our recent skirmish. All that's left for me to wear now are the blue goggles which are thankfully still in decent condition. I let them rest on my head for now as I throw the ragged remnants of my Pikachu-sized clothes to the side.
Not too long after, we heard knocking on the door and Rigel went to check. As soon as the door is opened, the boy's face brightens considerably.
"Orion!" He exclaimed as my ears rose all the way up! I move my head to the side to get a better look and sure enough it IS them…Orion and Eev! The two Pokémon are ushered in the room as Jen comes out of the bathroom to join us. The smaller Pikachu jumps into his trainer's arms as the Eevee jumps and rests on Jennifer's shoulder. The agent who brought them in left, we are not sure who they are but we thanked them regardless.
The reunion felt like it could go on forever and honestly…I wish it did. Orion greeted us all, even Jen (though it was kind of brief.) Once the group pulls away, Rigel asked his Pikachu specifically, "how did you guys do it? How'd you get out of that river?"
I began to act as a translator for Orion as he explained, relaying his information to the two humans about how they ended up with the police.
"Glad to have you here, Lucas, heh…so…" the boy looked down to the two creatures again, "they were going to use you guys as bait or something I guess…" the teen boy rubbed his chin, "should we start being afraid of the police or what?"
I shake my head before Rigel shrugged, "we oughta be careful regardless…at least until mom and dad get here…"
Orion's ears perked when he heard this, "they're coming here!?" He asked, as if shocked by the news…as if he didn't want them to get into trouble also, "I don't think…that's a good idea…" I added to Orion's thoughts toward Rigel, also learning of this at the same time as the natural-born Pikachu.
"Can't change that now, we'll be seeing them soon apparently" the boy shrugged.
Jen and Eev finally pulled away, as if the female trainer wanted to make sure everything was alright with her Pokémon…the others didn't protest, and I was distracted because I am then approached by Orion.
The small Pikachu eyes me, having a questioning look on his face, "so what happened after we fell off the bridge Lucas…"
"We fought off the grunts…Charm-I mean Charizard…fended them off…"
As soon as I said this, Orion jumps up in shock, ear twitching madly in response…his mouth is wide open at this revelation, "no way…Charmeleon evolved!?"
I nodded, "not too long after you guys fell off the bridge."
"I have to see 'em!" Orion started jumping around his trainer, trying to get his attention, "Orion…wants to see…Charizard" I explained to Rigel before the kid smiles.
"That's right! He hasn't seen his 'ol buddy yet! I guess if it's just for a minute" and so, the teenager warns everyone to step back, aiming his white/red Pokéball at a spot large enough for the dragon-like entity. Once he released the beast from its confines, he had the ball in his clutches just in case Charizard were to try and do anything out of line…after all: he JUST evolved, and his kind can be quite rebellious…
Once the Charizard got its bearings, it looked down at us. It stood at 5'7, taller than Rigel and slightly taller than Jennifer herself. Once it eyes Orion, they got excited just like the rest of us…although his reaction wasn't as obvious. In fact, the "dragon" more or less gave a nod of approval.
Orion, on the other hand, goes crazy and shows it to his friend, "Charmeleon, is that you!?" I just had to chuckle at this. The large reptile simply nodded in response. The mouse across from him couldn't help himself, he scurried over and climbed around the dragon-like creature before finally resting on his shoulder, "this is SO cool! Now I can perch on your back and we can go into battle together like total badasses-"
"Ahem!" Rigel said, laughing in response. Orion protested back in his usual Pikanese, "seriously Rigel, the thought of a Pikachu riding a Charizard into battle…you have to agree that's epic!"
Before anything else can happen, the reptile grabbed the mouse's back with two of its talons and laid them back down on the carpet, snickering silently at the same time, "maybe for another day" the Charizard replied, "it's good to see you're well."
"Ah…I'll have to get used to you talking so formal…won't it?" Orion playfully scoffed at this as the dragon grunted back at him.
Rigel uses his Pokédex to scan his "new" Pokémon and his device explained some facts about Charizard at the same time to him. The orange-scaled beast, meanwhile, looked down at me, noticing I had ditched my clothes, "Lucas here was very concerned for you."
"I BET he was!" Orion laughed back as I nodded, "he's right…I was."
"Come 'ere you!" The small Pikachu grabbed me and started rubbing my head with his knuckles as I begged him to stop. Rigel, upon finishing his inquiry, walked toward us, "okay you two, cut that out. Charizard, I gotta put you back in for now…no hard feelings?" The trainer asked his dragon who folded his arms in protest. The boy is intimidated by this and soon brought his arms up in a defensive action, "it's only for a little while, until we can figure out what we're going to do bud I swear!"
Charizard snorted out some fumes from his nostrils but returns to his ball and Rigel places him in his belt for safekeeping. Soon after, the boy yawns and goes to check the window…passing by a quiet Jennifer and her Eevee in the process. As he does, he stops for a second…looking toward the adult, "it's…good to see her in one piece…" he told her as Jen smiled slightly at this, not saying a word in return. Soon enough, the boy, despite this, gives a nod and walks away afterward.
Orion and I, meanwhile, break away from our "hug".
"I'm glad you're alright Orion…"
"Hey…it's me. It'll take a lot to take me down!" The mouse said confidently, "we'll be doing a heck of a lot better now that we have a Charizard on our team!"
The smaller Pikachu glanced over to the Eevee who's curled on Jennifer's lap. He turns back to me with a serious look running down his yellow face…with an expression that is begging for an answer, "Lucas…did you know?" I rose an eyebrow before the mouse continued, "about them…being Grunts?"
"Orion…not before all this…I don't know what I should do…but she's been there for me…I…I want to convince myself Jen is on our side…"
"With all that is going on…how can we risk it? Lucas…" he said as he stepped closer to me.
"Maybe we won't be the only ones anymore…the Police are helping us now."
"I guess…" Orion huffed in response, crossing his arms, "but…maybe we should tell them about her…"
My eyes widened quickly at this, and I jumped toward him, "no!" I suddenly blurted out: grabbing him. After seeing his surprised expression, I moved away, "I'm not going to ruin her life just because-"
"She's a grunt!" Orion interrupted harshly.
"Orion, she's MY friend!"
"And we're not!?" He pulled me to the side as not to rouse attention. Orion's tone had shifted and now he was clearly frustrated with me. The whole conversation went south so fast, but I didn't care…I wanted him to know.
"I…Orion…I love her…I just can't!" I pulled away as the other Pikachu fell silent. I stomped off deciding to end our conversation before it got any worse. He just stood there, shocked by it all but he knew. I didn't have to tell him, Orion knew I had deep feelings for Jennifer, but he also felt like I was falling into a hole I wouldn't be able to come out of. All the mouse can do is hope for the best for all of us. He decided that he and Rigel ought to stay close as best as they can until our situation can be resolved. And so, the Pikachu returned to his human partner and remained vigilant in the meantime.
Not long after, I soon became overwhelmed by the recent "argument" that I approached Jen…she had been very quiet during all of this. It's unlike her to be so silent…then again, Rigel and I have been breathing down her neck since she told us the truth. Still, something in me told me to approach her as Rigel and Orion unpacked their stuff.
"Jen…" I began by saying. She looked down to see my small form…she had been sitting on the side of her bed…looking completely dazed and disconnected as Eev rested on her, "is it true…what you said…at the police station? You didn't look back…when you left Sinnoh to find me?" I asked wholeheartedly. Her rose-colored eyes pierced deep into my soul at that moment.
"Lucas…they won't get away with this…I won't let them" she finally said.
I look away slowly, folding my yellow arms in response, "I know…you care about me…" I stuttered with my English. I really hoped for once it would let me speak "normal" to her as I did when I was human.
"I wasn't lying…you know what I said in the police station was true" the red jacket girl stated,
"I think…you're a good person…you've been good to me since the…day we met. I just want things to…get better."
"But they have, haven't they?" She said as Eev is disturbed and woke to catch our conversation, "those bastards just have to be dealt with."
"Jennifer…" I said, "we can't do anything…until we have…a plan…" I explained; however, she just scoffed and I decided to end it there, "whatever you think…we should do…we'll be open to hearing it…I will at least…when the time comes…the others will too…" I finished, jumping off her bed. Jennifer gives a side glance to me and made a mental sigh. I decided to focus my attention on Orion/Rigel who are staring out the stormy window and the former senses me. After a few moments, he opens by saying, "I hope we're walking into something worthwhile…" he chittered before I climbed Rigel's back to rest on his shoulder opposite of Orion.
"We'll just have to brace ourselves…" I stated quietly.
…
About an hour later, we suddenly heard a knock on the door and we all gathered to see two men enter the room. They are wearing suits…we soon recognize them from Viridian City: it's the two detectives…Hideo Yoshida and Dean Kilde.
"Hello" Kilde opened up as the two men joined our semi-circle across from us.
"Rigel…it is nice to see you. We are glad to see you all are okay" Yoshida added.
"Detectives…" Rigel muttered, almost silently, "y-you've been watching us."
The two men in their thirties looked at each other before looking down at the teen, "we want to catch these criminals. The man who is after you is called Jeremy…but he was known by Team Rocket as Rk" Kilde explained.
"Two years ago, he and a few others stole something from the company Silph Co. one night" Dean explained.
"Footage would show two members of their small infiltration team to be a young man and woman that fit the description of the two you gave us in Viridian City."
"The two grunts who stole Orion?" Rigel suddenly inquired and that's when I gasped at that…surely, he doesn't mean…Cy and his friend!?
"W…wait…" I stepped in. Again, my ability to speak gathers surprise from the two men who backed away in surprise. Rigel tries to calm the air, soon explaining to them why I'm able to talk…giving connections to Bartoli and Team Rocket. Soon, it all fell into place for them, and they finally understand.
"So Lucas here was one of Bartoli's experiments…" Dean nodded.
"Very similar to the experiments that occurred in Verdigris…" Hideo looked to his partner before both nodded.
"Verdigris?" I roll my head to the side as my ears fell in that direction.
"We believe a group connected to Team Rocket is currently stationed in the abandoned town…maybe it is Team Rocket, but there has been no sign of any activity so far in our search" Yoshida explains, "the tower at Verdigris is an abandoned radio tower that used to broadcast events throughout Kanto."
"We hope to find the grunts you told us about, for they MAY know the secret hideout in Verdigris; however, their last known location was Celadon City…there has been no sight of them in days."
"Cy…" I said suddenly as the humans look down at me, "he and Rk…seem to…hate each other, but they never told us…they stole something from Silph…Co…"
Rigel puts his hands on his hips and groaned, "so what do you want us to do? We don't know these two grunts personally…or are in contact with them."
"We understand…my partner and I want to try and extradite information from Rk if we can apprehend him" Dean Kilde explained.
"Rigel…these men…they may have the ability to find you…" Yoshida explains as we all jump back in surprise.
"What do you mean…" Jennifer finally blurted out.
One of the men walks across us to Rigel's jacket…
"H-hey!?"
He finds nothing…next Dean checks the boy's backpack and bingo…he finds a very small device latched on it. Rigel nor I would have ever seen it…it's so small! The black tracking device can barely be seen on the tip of the man's finger. We all gathered to see it…and dread washed over us all.
"T-they knew all this time!?" Orion gasped in his Pikachu language.
"Sin-since when was that there!?" Rigel exclaimed with the same inflection, those grunts really love using those things, the boy thought to himself.
"The Outpost you guys were in maybe, or when we were in the arcade in this city?" Jennifer offered her theories.
"This is how they find you" Yoshida added, joining his partner.
"This could be used to lure them" Dean nodded, giving a faint grin.
"Sounds like a plan" Hideo nodded back.
Both detectives retreated toward the exit, looking back to us all, "we will be around. I assume this Jeremy knows you're here. Perhaps he will attempt an attack soon, we'll double our patrols in the meantime."
"Please sleep soundly, we won't be far away to help if anything arises" Hideo finished.
"Let us know if you need anything" Kilde also finished before both agents finally walked out as they inspected the spy device.
Now alone again, we all look at each other with hope but also uncertainty on our faces.
"I can't believe they put that on me!" Rigel growled.
"I think this will be good…we can…track them now…" I explained.
"Maybe" Jen simply said before retreating to her bed to rest.
Rigel and Orion look down toward me, "how on earth could we be able to find Cy anyway?"
"I doubt…it…" I shook my head.
"What was that about Verdigris!? I would have never thought they would have had a base there…"
"Yeah!" Orion added with a fist in the air.
I look away, Rk and his team were pretty close when they found you Orion…not to mention Ansel…maybe Cy DOES know about it…knows how to get to them. Why would HE help us though…he HATED us…the guy is probably trying to lay low which is most likely what he's doing…
"Let's just sleep on…it" I decided to say, walking to my sofa bed to sleep. Rigel and Orion both nodded at each other, figuring there was no use in discussing this without further information from Kilde and Yoshida. And so, we all went to sleep for the night as the storm outside began to worsen…
A few hours pass…
I stirred while on the small couch chair I am sleeping on. I opened my eyes to see that rain continues to fall outside, and it's still dark. I thought I heard a noise…my left ear had twitched, so I sit up from my sleeping position to rub my eyes. I readjust the blue goggles on my head before I decide to investigate by looking around the room: Rigel/Orion are still sleeping…but wait: where's Jen!?
She must be in the bathroom, I tried to make sense of myself. I look over to the bathroom: the lights are on…yeah, but wait a minute: where is her stuff!?
I got out of bed and scurried over to her empty bed: her backpack is gone…
Jen…you better NOT be doing what I think you're doing!
I ought to check the bathroom…first…again, I'm getting paranoid…
And so, I walked over and slowly opened the door: the light from inside temporarily blinds me, "J-Jen…" I chittered softly so as not to wake the others. But soon, I let out a loud squeak in confusion, "Jennifer!?"
Rigel and Orion are thus woken up and are alarmed by my exclamation. Inside the bathroom, it turned out, there was a vent on the ceiling that had been opened…she must have climbed into it!
No…no…no!
The other two members of our group rush out of bed to join my side, "Lucas?" Rigel said but his eyes soon gazed into the opened vent.
"Did she…" Orion tried to say but I finished for him, "she's gone!"
Rigel went to turn on the lights, "let's go get her, quick!" The boy instructed, trying to get into his gear asap, but I shook my head.
"Yeah, let's go!" Orion nodded in agreement, slamming his fist into his other paw in determination.
"No…" I said, "go tell…the others…I'll stop…her before she does something…stupid!"
"Lucas…no…you can't! What are you going to do…don't tell me…"
"She'll listen to me!" I retorted quickly, getting ready to go.
Orion shook his head, eyeing me carefully, "Lucas…you know what'll happen!"
"She's one of us, Orion…I'm NOT going to lose her!" I retorted, "please do this for me…" I begged.
"Lucas…" Orion sighed, looking away before looking into my eyes again with an equally begging fashion as I had, "just…come back with her in one piece…" he said. I nodded in response, jumping on the counter in the bathroom, "keep Rigel and the others safe" I finished before jumping into the vent above. The small Pikachu just looked on, worry filling him, but soon he composed himself and ran to his trainer, who has alerted the guards outside.
Meanwhile, I crawl through the air duct, using my sense of smell to follow Jennifer's scent: she's not far…
It's not long until I am met with a sharp drop and I tumble down to the bottom. Upon reaching the end, I curse softly in pain before I look around. I am in a laundry room by the looks of it and I'm definitely on the bottom floors. I groan before recovering to continue my "chase." Jennifer must have dropped down shortly before me, for I heard a door close just as I landed.
With haste, I jump out of the laundry chute, and scamper through the room…quickly making it to the exit. I jump up to grab the knob before turning it…entering the next area. Now I'm in a long hallway and across from me at the end of the corridor is Jennifer! I had just missed her damn it!
I start running on all fours, all the while shouting at her…not caring if I would attract attention to myself and my ability to speak. I make a turn around the corner and there I see she had left the building and gone into the ran-stricken streets outside the apartments!
Damn it, Jen…
What is she doing!?
Is she crazy now!?
Once I make it outside, it's not long before my yellow coat of fur is drenched in the cold, hard, rain. I didn't care, for the moment I was focusing on getting to my friend. I sprinted as fast as I could to her. Finally, once I'm down the street, I run into Jennifer. She had been covering her face with a hoodie to shield herself from the torrential downpour. I called out to her and she turned: her fire-red eyes lock onto mine as we stand there. All we hear is the howling wind and the rain striking the asphalt around us.
It's not long before I step forward to say, "what the hell is wrong with you?" I said in a complete sentence…the first time I ever did so as a Pikachu. Despite this, I didn't stop to notice, but Jen did, "L-Lucas…" she muttered.
"You're trying…to get them all by yourself…" I scolded her hard, as my stuttering came back slightly, "you have no idea…what you're…walking into! Y-you think you can take them…on…by yourself?" I yelled, swinging my arm outwards in an angry fashion.
"Actually. I do" she retorted, taking out something from her hand…carefully shielding it from the rain to show me. I had no choice but to move closer to see: it's the tracer the two detectives found…w-why does she have it now!?
"Jen…" I took a step backward in fear for us…
"I'm the bait" she simply admitted, "the agents gave it to me. You shouldn't be here right now Lucas…"
"Oh…please…you want me to think they gave it to you…"
"I told them the truth!" She snapped back, eyes filled with frustration, "I told them I know more or less how these people function…they're no different from Team Galactic!" Soon enough, she made a deep sigh and looked down at me again, kneeling to be more eye level with me, "I'm doing this for all of you."
I also sighed, looking away in response, deciding to take a less angry stance. She took her hand and guided my face to meet hers again and with a soft smile she said to me, "I have to do this…I want to do this…for you."
A few moments pass by as I think quietly to myself: I couldn't let her do anything dumb…but what if she says is true and there are cops around us ready to take down the grunts? Still, I couldn't afford to let her make the same mistakes I've made…
"If that's true…then let me…help" I returned.
She stood there for a second, registering what I said. Soon enough she stood up and sighed loudly, "well…you're here…I suppose" she gestured for me to jump on my shoulder and I nodded slowly. Sure enough, I ran up to rest on her shoulder. She turned her head and asked, "do you need anything for the rain?"
"I like it…actually" I chuckled.
She rolled her eyes playfully…she's showing the same energy I love about her again. I gave a small smile back, "I miss this part of you…Jennifer" I noted.
Jensen nodded back, "I just want things to get better for you…this seems like a good step" the girl explained as we began making our way down the street.
Soon, I gave a concerned look, "what about…Rigel and Orion? They went to…tell the others about us probably."
"I'll radio it in" she said, pulling out a black device from her belt.
"Th-they gave you…a radio too?"
Through the hood she is wearing I saw her wink at my comment, and I chuckle in response. Not too far away, a group of Saffron government agents follows us in the shadows…ready to intervene at the first sight of trouble. They are ready to meet the "Team Rocket" Grunts head-on. Could tonight be the night we finally end all this, I could only hope so…but I know that whatever happens…Jennifer and I will face it…together.
…
I hope you all enjoyed it! We are about 80% of the way done with the story so far. We are approaching the "end game" and I hope you're enjoying it so far!
I hope you all have a nice day and I'll see you next time, cheers!
