In this chapter we find 2 of Harry's elemental team members, and get 1 of the few fights I will be writing.

5: the elemental forces of Air and Water

– A few minutes before the end of the last chapter –
A figure stalked through the corridors of Hogwarts. They knew Potter would show up eventually, but they hadn't counted on him being trained as well as he appeared to be.
Oh well. They would just have to wait and see how Mr. Potter did in their class.
It also might be a good idea to see what all this elemental non sense was about.
They had held the power here in Hogwarts now for more than 60 years. Nothing and no one were going to make them give it up.
– Back in the Head master's office–
"Is there anything else you need Mr. Potter?"
Harry shook his head. "I think that's all for the moment sir. With your permission I will head for my bed."
Albus beamed at Harry. "Of course, Mr. Potter. " He said as Harry rose to his feet. "Do you need an escort back to the Hufflepuff rooms?"
Harry shook his head. "Not at all, Winky?"
A bedraggled house elf popped next to Harry. "Yous calling Winky?"
Harry knelt beside the elf. "Winky, I heard you were wrongfully dismissed from your family. I may be only 1 person right now, but I will someday soon have 5 more people to take care of. Only 1 can become my wife, but all of them will be my family. I wish to ask; would you like to join our family?"
Winky blinked. "Winky would be proper elf again?"
Harry nodded. "Yes."
"Winky excepts" Winky said flinging herself into Harry's waiting arms.
Harry chuckled as he held the sobbing elf. Thankfully he felt the bond between house elf and master click into place. "Winky could you please take me to the Hufflepuff dorms?"
Winky snapped her fingers, and the 2 of them disappeared.
Albus pulled a lemon drop from his candy dish, and smiled at how Harry had been able to help pour Winky. Albus had despaired ever finding her a good family. That was 1 more thing he wouldn't have to worry about. Now to get through all this paperwork. How did Minerva do it?

The following day Harry was sitting by the quidditch pitch when he saw 7 students dressed in the red and gold of Gryffindor house come out of the changing rooms, mount brooms, and start practicing moves.
As Harry watched each member fly around, he found himself frowning. It was clear the captain knew what she was doing. As did the 1 chasing a small golden ball. However, the others looked like they would fall off their brooms at the slightest urging.
Standing he looked around for anyone who might be watching over this practice, but to his discomfort saw no one else out there.
"Well, that won't do" he said to himself. Closing his eyes, he reached for the connection Heart had helped him open before coming back to his world.
"Lightning, can you hear me?"
"Of course, Harry. What can I do for you?"
"I was wondering if my transformed state would allow me to supervise a quidditch practice."
Harry heard Lightning hum to himself. "I don't see why not. In your elemental state you can fly so it should be possible."
"Thanks Lightning. I'll let you know if there are any drawbacks."
With that Harry closed the connection, and walked out of sight of not only the pitch, but also the rest of the castle. After looking around both with his sight, and his magic sensing abilities Hary pulled a very old looking ring out of his rove pocket. Placing the ring on his right-hand ring finger Harry whispered "Let the light shine".
There was a blinding flash of light, and the entire castle shook with the clap of thunder that rolled across the area.
When the light died down if anyone had been around to be blinded by the light, they would now find the place Harry stood empty. This was because a man slightly shorter than Harry was now soring over the castle.

Katty Bell groaned to herself. She knew most of her team would be green, but she hadn't expected it to be this bad.
"How did Oliver keep this team together?"
She knew part of their success on the pitch was the Weasley twins. Unfortunately, those 2 had left the team this year. Preferring to focus on their NEWTs. Still, that left her with flyers who were still trying to get used to playing as a team.
Thankfully Angelica Clark, 2 years behind her, was an excellent seeker. The rest of them were quite frankly terrible.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS" a voice bellowed out above them.
Looking up Katty saw a man standing above her. He stood no taller than 5 foot 6. He wore white pants, a white jacket over a white T-shirt, and white combat boots. The hilt of a sword poked out of a striped white belt that was tied around his waist.
"Who are you?"
The man smirked. You may call me Solar. Now why does this look like 1 failure of a quidditch team?"
Katty looked down at these words, but someone else wouldn't take that statement lying down.
"Hay what do you mean our team is a failure" a kid with red hair and freckles yelled. "I Ron Weasley am the keeper for this team, and so our team will be the best. After all we are in Gryffindor the best Hogwarts house there is."
Solar laughed. "You? From what I could see you couldn't block a ball thrown at you. Even if you were warned ahead of time."
"What do you know" Ron shouted back.
In response, solar conjured a copy of the beachball looking ball three of the players had been tossing around. "Let me show you what I know."
For the next 10 minutes Solar through ball after ball at Ron. Sometimes it came from the left. Sometimes the right. And sometimes the throw was dead on center. Ron managed to block the first throw, but every throw after that sailed straight through the hoop. Even when Ron was directly in front of the hoop in question.
"I think it is safe to say that this team can't count on you pulling them out of the fire" Solar said at the end of those 10 minutes.
In response Ron dove for the ground, and once on his feet he stalked off for the castle.
"What a crybaby" Solar said to himself. Turning to the rest of the team that had watched his performance with slacked jaws he said "now that I have shown you how a Chaser plays the game, who here wants to learn more about their roll in Quidditch"
He wasn't surprised when every member of the team volunteered.

Harry smiled as he dressed the next day. He was pretty sure he had found his air elemental. He just needed to see if she would be open to assisting him in protecting their world from evil.
Finishing with his tie Harry stepped into the Hufflepuff common room. To his surprise Susan and Hannah were waiting for him.
"Care to walk us to breakfast Mr. Potter" Susan asked fluttering her eyelashes at him.
Harry resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Sure. Let's go."
Stepping up on either side both girls took an arm, and followed Harry as he walked toward the grand staircase.
The 3 of them were nearly to the stairs when a Slytherin girl walked up behind them. Hearing footsteps Susan turned her head.
"Parkinson."
The girl nodded to the three puffs. "Bones, Potter, Abbot."
Harry studied the girl. She wasn't bad looking. A little fuller in the face than he preferred, but overall, not a bad looking girl. "What can we do for you Miss Parkinson?"
"Pansy please. I am trying to distance myself from the moves my family is making now that what's-his-face is acting in the open."
Susan and Hannah exchanged a look of surprise at Pansy's statement. They had expected Parkinson to keep with the Croud she had run with ever since their first year.
Harry smiled. "I don't think we'll have to wait to much longer before the dark tosser is finished."
All three girls shot him a look. "What do you mean Harry" Hannah asked.
"I heard there was a prophecy spoken about the dark lord" Susan said. "Is that what you mean?"
But to the girl's surprise Harry shook his head. "The people that trained me while I was away were able to determine that Voldemort is not the subject of a prophecy."
Harry ignored the girl's flinching. "As for taking him out, I met a guy in Lundon just before the Leaky Caldron. He called himself Solar, the elemental guardian of light. He said he would be taking care of Voldemort. So, I just needed to focus on whoever my prophesied foe is."
By this time the four of them had reached the grate hall. Pansy nodded to the three of them, before walking into the grate hall.
Looking around Harry saw Katty Bell with her team mates going over something. "I hope nothing happens for a while" he thought. "The last thing anyone needs is an attack at this time."
As Harry, Hannah, and Susan sat at the Hufflepuff table Harry didn't notice his rings for air and water glowing.

Three days later Harry was eating breakfast sitting between Megon Jones and Alisabeth Runcorn when the dimensional phone Rain had given him before leaving started to ring.
As Harry fished out his phone, he got some strange looks. "Potter."
"Harry this is Shadow. You need to prepare for incoming."
"What can you tell me."
"Three fiends. One fire, 1 earth, and 1 shadow."
Harry paled. "I'll let Solar know."
"Roger that. Good luck."
As Harry flipped his phone shut, he rose from the table, and hurried up toward the head table. Coming to a stop behind the headmaster he leaned down and whispered in the man's ear. Nodding Albus stood.
"All students to your common rooms. It seems an old enemy of the founders is on their way, and we will give them as little chance to capture you as possible."
As the students scrambled up from their tables Harry flipped open his phone and dialed a number.
"Hi Solar this is Harry."
"I just got a call from Shadow. It seems 3 fiends are attacking Hogwarts soon."
"Water, earth, and shadow."
"Yes."
"I understand."
"Thank you."
"Good luck."
Harry flipped his phone shut and joined his fellow puffs on their way back to the badger's den. "This is going to be hard" he thought.

After entering the Hufflepuff common room Harry felt 3 dark forces enter through the wards. He needed to transform and get out there. However, he also needed to do it in a way that didn't out him to the rest of the badgers. Unfortunately, the puffs seemed to want to sit around and talk about what was happening. Fortunately for Harry Professor Sprout came in a few minutes later, and set all of them to their individual rooms.
As Harry closed his door he sighed with relief. Crossing to his wardrobe Harry pulled out the rings for air and water. He didn't know if he would be able to use them, but better to have them on hand.
closing his blinds Harry rose his right hand and spoke his transformation phrase. "Let the light shine!"

Pansy was running. First, she had been kicked out of the Slytherin common room by Drako. Then 1 of the windows had shattered from the kick of a creature that looked like a cross between a bear and a snake.
Behind it were 2 other creatures. One looked like a hippogryph. Except it had large bat like wings. The other looked like for all the world like a demented black cat.
Pansy had just reached the first floor when a beam of pure white light shot passed her, and struck the cat creature causing it to scream in pain. To Pansy's surprise a figure dressed all in white floated down between her and the creatures.
"That's far enough you fiends" the figure said.
Not waiting to see if the creatures would stop Pansy darted for the stairs up to the next floor. She was just reaching that floor when she heard a scream from below.
Looking over the edge she saw Katty Bell coming out of a passage in the wall. "What is she doing. Why doesn't she just leave it to the 1 who can fight these creatures."

Katty couldn't tell you why she was back on the first floor. All students had been ordered to their common rooms. Except she had felt drawn to something in the castle for a while now. When she saw the creatures that had crossed the castle wards she had frozen for a split second. Before as if on instinct, she pulled out a quaffle she had carried around with her since first year, and threw it at the bear-like creature. To her surprise the leg that was struck by the quaffle dissolved as though vanished.
The creature let out a piercing scream. Before swinging around and locking eyes on Katty. With a roar the creature started to chase Katty around the floor.

While fighting against the fire and shadow fiends Harry saw Katty Bell hit the earth fiend with a quaffle ball. What she was doing carrying 1 of those around was anyone's guess. Along with why she was not in her common room. Oh well at least she took the pressure off of him.
As he fired a light beam at the shadow fiend, he noticed the air ring had started glowing. Looking up harry saw Bell jump over the earth fiend, and attempt to run up the stairs. Unfortunately, she stumbled, and fell over the side of the moving staircase. Why weren't there railings on the stairs here? Deciding that thought could wait for a bit, Solar jumped into the air, and flying over to Bell grabbed her before she hit the floor.
"Th thank you."
You're welcome."
As Solar set Katty down on her feet a black beam slammed into his back. Causing him to fall to the floor with a cry of pain.
Katty had to dodge the same beam. Before it slamed into the wall a few feet passed her head. Looking down at Solar Katty noticed the glowing ring poking out of his suit pocket.
As she reached for the ring, Solar grabbed her wrist. "If you put on that ring" he spoke in a soft voice. "You will be bound to the elementals vow. You will have to fight evil whenever it appears. You will never be able to tell anyone who is not a fellow elemental your true identity. Finally, you are placing yourself in the running for being chosen to marry me. This last condition will not kick in until the team is fully assembled, but when it is you will be 1 of the options."
Katty thought about it for a minute. Could she tie herself to an unknown male just so she could protect those around her? ... ... Yes, yes, she could.
"I except" she said as she took the ring from Solar.
Slipping the ring on to her right hand, Katty felt the ring shrink to fit her finger. Her eyes fluttered as knowledge entered her mind. Rising to her feet Katty rose her right hand and spoke, "The sky is not the limit!"
There was a flash of green light, and when it cleared Katty Bell was gone. In her place floated a young woman dressed in a sleeveless green dress. She wore an emerald crown upon her head. She carried a short bow on her back, and comfortable looking slippers on her feet. "I Star the elemental guardian of air will blow away all evil."

Pansy had watched all that had gone on ever since Bell had thrown that quaffle at 1 of the creatures. She watched as this unknown male had tried to fight off the other 2 creatures. She saw when he took a black beam in the back, and when Bell had claimed a green ring and transformed into a green glowing archer.
While this Star was now blasting 1 of the creatures around like an owl plays with a mouse, Pansy watched as the male tried to hold off the other two.
Wanting to help the person who had protected her, Pansy crept down the stairs. She slowly approached the creature that was casting black beams as though they were -piercing hexes. Slowly she pulled a small decretive knife she had been given as a birthday present, and lunging forward stabbed the creature in the back just as a white beam struck the same creature from the front.
To Pansy's surprise the creature dissolved into black smoke witch the male sucked into a ring he wore on his right hand.
At the same time Star shot an arrow through the creature she had been fighting, and caused it to dissolved in the same manner.
That just left the hippogryph. In response to its fellow creatures being destroyed, the creature gained a golden red color, and surrounded itself in flames. Star started launching arrows at the hippogryph, but it just burned each arrow before any of them could get close.
Pansy turned to the male who was still sitting on the floor. "How do we stop that thing?"

Solar looked up at Pansy's question. He was almost fully healed from the hit he had taken from the black cat. "We need water" he said.
Pansy looked surprised. "Is that all?"
Solar shook his head. "More precisely we need the warrior of water."
Pansy frowned. "Well where is this warrior of water?"
Solar straitened as his healing spell completed. "At the moment there isn't 1." Pulling out a ring with a large sapphire embedded in it, Solar explained. "Someone will need to except this ring, and take on the powers of water."
Pansy gazed at the ring in Solar's hand. "Can just anyone take on this ring?"
Solar shook his head. "It requires someone who is quite intelligent. someone who is either a good singer or likes to create things. Finally, as with all who wears these rings it has to be someone who can and is willing to keep our identities a secret from everyone who is not an elemental."
Pansy paused. She wasn't sure about the intelligence part, but all the rest she could fulfill. Trembling slightly Pansy reached for the ring.
Smiling Solar handed over the ring of water.
Slipping the ring on to her right-hand Pansy simply blinked at the flood of information that entered her mind. Rasing her hand toward the ceiling she cried "Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink!"
With that the form of pansy disappeared behind a massive wall of water. The wall shook twice. Then without any warning the wall of water turned into a solid wall of ice that split apart to reveal a young woman dressed all in blue.
"I Storm the elemental master of water am here to wash away evil."

An: and that is where I am ending it. I have found I dislike writing fight scenes, but it was unaboidible for the latter part of this chapter.
The clearest clue to our villain was found in this chapter. We won't be revisiting who that is until the team is finished.
Next chapter we watch as several ladies try to win Harry's affection, and something bad is reported in the press.
Well that's all for this time, and asuming nothing interfears I'll see you all next week.
