Ruby's POV
"Where can she be?" I asked out loud, overlooking Beacon and the City of Vale from our bedroom window. It has been about forty five minutes since we got that message from Blake and she still hasn't responded.
"Maybe she lost service?" Yang called out in a worried tone of voice. From the looks of it, she didn't believe herself when she said that, who would lose service in Vale? The most important city in the kingdom.
"She still isn't responding." Weiss said in a just as worried tone. I saw that she was currently typing on her scroll to Blake, a slightly fearful look on her face.
When Blake messaged us that she was going to be late, we actually saw it as something good at first as we weren't quite finished with everything yet. We still had to wait on the cake to be done that the kitchen staff of Beacon was so gracious to bake for us. Sure, it would be bare, but it was the thought that counted and we made sure it was Blake's favorite flavor as well, so she wouldn't have complained either way.
Yang went to get some candles from Team CFVY when it was finally done. We actually met them when their leader, Coco, asked Blake to make their team some of the little flags she made for us. They actually became a little popular, with a decent amount of the student body carrying them around now. It was honestly quite cute.
After Yang got them and Weiss and I got done decorating and getting the cake respectfully, we messaged Blake about how long she would be. That was half an hour ago.
I racked my brain for any kind of explanation as to why she wasn't responding to our texts and none of them made my already stressed mind calm down.
I was about to speak when suddenly all of our scrolls went off at once. Opening them, my heart dropped a little, why was Blake calling in her weapons? That was the final straw, we are going looking for her.
"Come on, let's get armed up, we're going looking for her." I say in a resolute tone of voice, slipping past a wide eyed-Yang and opening the door. They soon broke from their stupor and we jogged down the hallway towards where our weapons were located. It wasn't a full sprint yet, though it was getting close.
We rounded the corner to where we would have combat class and burst open the doors. We heard the swishing of swords and saw Winter down below practicing with her swords, a sharp look in her eyes from what I guess was our rather loud entrance. All heat immediately left her eyes when she saw us, confusion and a little bit of worry instead replacing it when she saw our faces.
She cast her gaze on me and I immediately knew she was serious, "Ruby, what are you three doing here so late at night?" While she was talking, we made our way down and towards the back where our weapons were located.
"Blake's called in her equipment for some reason. We've been trying to contact her, but she isn't answering." I say as we run into the back room, Winter hot on our tails.
"Do you know where she is?" She asked us, a cold and serious tone overtaking her voice.
I was about to respond, but before I did, something happened
"HELP"
Those words crashed through my mind like a freight train, completely staggering me and dropping me to my knees. My world went white with pain, a searing hot sensation at the back of my eyes.
I saw a few dozen people around me, almost all donning a white mask. I was dodging gunfire left and right, a cacophony of bullets wheezing by me. I was soon confronted with a redhead sword wielding man and I barely dodged the blade, but that left an opening for bullets to impact me. I could feel my aura slowly dwindle.
I dodged out of the way of the rest of the bullets, landing behind a crate to catch my breath. I wasn't given a long respite. Two people in white masks flanked the crate and jumped at me as one. With cat-like reflexes, I batted their weapons away from me and unleashed a fury of blows back, shattering bones and aura alike.
I was then came upon the redhead man again, this time his sword getting a clean cut on me, the only thing saving me being my rapidly depleting aura. I was sent flying from the blow, impacting the sides of a truly massive crate. Shaking the stars from my head, I looked at all of my opponents.
Some I recognized, such as Roman Torchwick and someone who I wished to never see again, Cardin Winchester. But the mast majority I didn't know at all, their masks covering their identities. The assault soon began a new and fear started to creep into my heart. Was I going to die here? Right before the redhead man hit me again, I mentally screamed out, "HELP"
The world came crashing back and I took in the deepest breath I could. Sweat was pouring buckets off me, but I didn't recognize it. That wasn't me there, that was Blake. The sheer terror and helplessness that came from that call for help fired every protective instinct in my body like a cannon. My sister was in trouble, and I wasn't there to help.
Yang, Weiss, and I looked at each other, terrified and tear-filled eyes looked to one another, and we knew what needed to happen. We didn't even respond to Winter's exclamations as to what happened, our minds were focused on getting ready as fast as we could.
In five seconds flat we were ready and rearing to go. Weiss and Yang came up to me, already knowing what needs to be done. Right before I activated my semblance, I turned towards Winter, and with a voice full of fear, I spoke one word, "Docks." And like that, I activated my semblance and took off like a bat out of hell.
In less than a quarter of a second I was already out of the classroom and speeding down the hallway towards the exit. Any other time, it would take a regular person at a walking pace about five minutes to get from where we were to the exit of the school. I did it in two seconds.
Once I was at the entrance to the school, I blitzed to the docks. Everything went by in a blur, one moment I was at the entrance of Beacon, the next I was soaring above the streets and homes below. I didn't pay head to two distinct sonic booms that I created with my speed, all I cared about was getting to the docks as fast as I could.
Every second that I was suspended in my semblance felt like an eternity, for every moment that it took me to get there, it was another one for Blake to get hurt or worse. But I finally made it to the docks, coming to a stop atop a crate. I just cleared 30 miles in one minute, but that wasn't what my mind was focused on, it was what was happening in front that had my full attention.
Time seemed to crawl as I looked at the scene in front of me, tears streaming down my face all the while. Blake was impaled through the stomach by the redhead man that I saw through her vision, his already crimson katana gaining more red in the blood of my sister.
Blake's weapon was thrown to the side, nearly ten yards away from her. All around her, I saw the bodies of White Fang members strewn about, some crying in pain, others were still as a corpse.
Blake herself had a pained expression on her face, a katana through the gut would do that, but the resolution and acceptance in her eyes overshadowed it by a mile. My gaze flickered to who she was looking to and I saw that it was Cardin, his weapon already descending from its apex, intent on killing Blake. The rage and hatred in his eyes told me all I needed to know.
Time crawled even slower as his weapon came careening down towards Blake, I won't be able to stop this. I was too slow. I was about to watch my sister die.
"NO!" I don't know if it was me, or the others that screamed, but I do know one thing.
My world went silver.
Weiss's POV
"NO!" I say as I draw my rapier as fast as I could. Tears were flowing down my eyes as I watched Cardin's weapon descend towards Blake. I already jumped towards them as fast as I could, but I knew I wouldn't make it, Blake was going to die right in front of me. No sooner had I thought that, a beam of silver came careening towards Cardin and the redhead swordsman.
The redhead, who I just now noticed was a bull Faunus, barely dodged in time, taking his sword with him, Blake's blood spewing from the now open wound. Cardin on the other hand...
"AHHHHHHHH!" The beam of silver energy grazed him, if he didn't react faster, it would have engulfed him. His screams of pain bring great joy to me, he may not be dead now, but for what he was about to do, he soon will be.
I noticed that beam completely burned the right side of his face to the bone, revealing some of his teeth and completely burning his right eye right out of the socket. I heard a distinct *pop!* sound when it hit it. His right arm was completely charred, some white of bone making itself clear as well. The smell of burnt flesh hit my nostrils but I didn't even register it, instead, I went straight for the katana wielding man. Cardin was no longer a threat, him being completely knocked out cold on the ground in sheer agony at the moment. The bull Faunus man, on the other hand, might be some trouble.
I slash down with great force at the man, with him matching the blow with his own. We locked swords for only a moment before we separated, sending glares of hatred at one another. I couldn't see his face due to his mask, but I knew he was sending me one, the sneer on his face said so.
"Well what do you know? I get to kill a Schnee as well. This night just keeps getting better and better." The man said, in a dark sinister tone that also had hints of excitement mixed in. My eyes narrowed, my anger only growing with every word he spoke. It was needless to say, but I hate him.
I glanced behind me and saw that Yang was standing over Blake, her eyes red with righteous fury, looking at all the White Fang around her, daring any one of them to approach.
Ruby soon joined in, coming back from whatever the hell that eye beam of hers was. Definitely something to talk about after all of this. She looked winded, like she went 12 rounds with Yang, but it was clear as day that she didn't care at all about her fatigue at the moment. The only thing that registered in her eyes was rage, fear and a desire to protect. Blake is probably the safest person on Remnant right now with Ruby alone, let alone Yang and I.
Ruby turned her eyes towards Yangs, a silent conversation happening between the two. With a nod, Ruby sped off and slammed into one of the White Fang grunts, the sounds of broken bones following soon afterward. It was a smart decision, Yang does have greater medical knowledge than Ruby so she could administer first aid if she got the chance. Though, with how many enemies there were, that was a wild dream at best.
That was apparently the signal for the battle to start a new, as the bull Faunus man came running towards me again with his katana raised, intent on taking my head from my shoulders.
I met him with a cold fury, my icy blue eyes glaring daggers straight through him. I noticed that when we clashed, I didn't get as much resistance as I thought, Blake must have worn him down a decent amount before we got here.
The thought of Blake and what was about to happen to her reignites my anger and I press the attack. I swung, slashed and stabbed at any openings I could find. I wanted nothing more in the world at the moment then to kill this son of a bitch.
He parried and blocked with expert swordsmanship, it was clear this wasn't his first life and death situation. I backed off for a moment to center myself, I was livid, there was no doubt about that, but I needed to be intelligent about this. I could not let my emotions take over in a situation like this where the difference between life and death was one mistake away.
After quickly centering myself, I reengaged with renewed vigor, being smarter with my movements as well. I met him again in a clash, and using my smaller stature, I slipped in between his guard and landed a nasty elbow to his bottom jaw. He was stunned for only a moment, a clear testament to his skills and willpower, but that was all I needed.
Knowing that I wouldn't get a good stab, I instead settled for a fire dust infused shot to the gut, sending him flying back a bit. He slams into a giant crate and drops to his knees, a haggard breath leaving him. Not wanting to let the opportunity to go to waste, I hurled after him, intent on impaling him on Myrtenaster.
It was only years of training against a speed demon like Ruby that saved me from being sliced in half. What I thought was a clear kill shot on my opponent, but was actually quite the opposite. He baited me in for an attack and it almost worked.
He moved at breakneck speeds, his katana going for a clean cut to my midsection to bisect me. I didn't need to know that if that slash made contact, I would be dead, the ominous red aura around it was enough of a warning in and of itself.
When it passed me by a micrometer away from cutting into my body, the gust of wind that followed sent some people stumbling it was so powerful. An involuntary shiver ran up my spine, definitely glad that didn't make contact.
Seeing that his back was exposed to me, I slashed at the back of his knees to try to slow him down. The blow landed, but not in the way I wanted. Showing great instincts, he moved just in time for me to only knick him.
Gritting my teeth, I began my assault once more, being weary of that super attack of his all the while.
We clashed again in a hurricane of steel, multiple strikes flying between us. As it went on, I came to the dissatisfying conclusion that he was the better swordsman than me. In all the exchanges we had, for every hit I landed, two would hit me. The only reason no more landed was due to Winters training. I really need to thank her after this.
Though he may have the superior swordsmanship, I clearly had more aura at the moment, Blake's earlier clash shining through. We continued to duel for an unknown amount of time, but it was clear that my superior aura reserves were starting to show its effect. For every hit I delivered, only one would come through my defense now.
He was starting to get fatigued, a glean of sweat was spread across his face, slow and hard breaths following along. His reaction time was getting worse slowly but surely, he was now barely able to react to my blows.
in fact, I was able to bring him to his knees with a particularly powerful downward slash. A grunt escaped his lips, and it was clear that he was exhausted. He brought his sword up once more, but with another slash, I battered it to the side and landed another elbow to his face, sending him on his back. His aura was starting to shimmer, one more attack and it should shatter. I was just about to do that, but a shout stopped me dead in my tracks.
"WATCH OUT!" Ruby's cry of desperation and horror chilled my blood to the core. My head zipped behind me and what I saw made it only grow colder. A truly massive crate was falling down and was about to crash. That wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't for the fact that Yang and Blake were right under it.
Yang was standing protectively over Blake, she didn't move her due to multiple different factors if I had to guess. Chief among them being Blake's poor condition and the battle raging right in front of her. Multiple White Fang bodies lay strewn in front of her, all having met the wrath of her fists.
Yang looked up and had just enough time to widen her eyes before the crate slammed into her.
Roman's POV
I was not having a good time tonight. First, with having to do this bat shit insane mission in the first place. Second, having to do it with the asshole Adam Taurus and his squad of White Fang. It wouldn't be so bad if I had Neo by his side, but she was, unfortunately, doing another mission at the moment.
But the third thing really made this night and the whole operation as a whole worse. Having to babysit and take in the kid Cardin Winchester. Now, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that Cinder literally sprung this on us at the last moment. She said that she had a new recruit that would be joining us that had a great deal of information that could prove vital to her cause. I was understandably pissed off about that, if I knew this sooner then I could have planned for it and made this whole situation a lot easier on all of us.
I was of course was correct when I predicted that shit would hit the fan with this sprung on us like this. You don't just change a well thought out plan like this last moment and not expect it.
So I wasn't surprised when he showed up that we heard the sound of something hitting the concrete below us, a heel if I remembered correctly.
Adam, thinking we were betrayed, drew his katana and placed it very close to the kid's neck. He said something along the lines that if whoever was there didn't show themselves, the kid would die. I wasn't really paying attention, I was too fed up to. It actually took longer than I expected for someone to show themselves, but from the looks the cat Faunus girl sent Cardin's way, it was clear that she wouldn't have cared much if he died. But, her empathy apparently got the better of her and she showed herself, though it was clear she just about didn't. What could the kid of done to her to get her so mad?
Adam and she talked for a little bit about how to go on Faunus civil rights and all that jazz. It was honestly quite monotonous, but Adam soon got tired of it all and decided to kill her in the end, the bat shit insane person that he is, I wasn't surprised.
Again, the night only got worse, because apparently she was extremely skilled. She dodged gunfire, and did quite well in CQC with everyone there, including myself, for quite a while. It was honestly really impressive, but soon the numbers got to her and Adam was able to impale her through the stomach. Instead of finishing her off then and there like he should have, he instead insisted on Cardin doing it, showing faith to the cause and that he actually wasn't going to betray us. I honestly didn't care, this mission was a bust as soon as the first shots were fired. Knowing that, I called in Cinder to come pick us up, knowing Huntsmen were already on their way.
I was correct, again, and the night got worse, again. Just when Cardin was about to finish the girl off, three distinct voices shouted 'no' at the same time. That was followed by a beam of silver energy that torched the right side of Cardin to a crisp. He looked like a marshmallow that was completely burnt on one side, and remained pristine white on the other. It also vaporized two White Fang grunts that were right behind him, they not reacting in time to dodge. I mean that literally, they just... vanished, not a single trace of them left.
At that time, three other people joined the fray, all having looks of murderous rage plastered on their faces. It actually made a chill go down my spine. The white haired one blitzed towards Adam, engaging in a clash of swords. A yellow haired girl and that scythe wilding one that I engaged all those months ago at that dust shop, dropped right in front of the Faunus girl. They looked at each other for a moment before Red nodded at her and took off towards a White Fang grunt.
It was a blink-and-you-miss-it type of situation, as she barreled into the grunt, shattering his aura and his nose. To be honest, I wasn't expecting that. I raised my cane and fired a shot, but she dodged out of the way and engaged me, along with the rest of the standing White Fang.
It was a fight for survival on our part as much as I hate to admit it. She was just too fast for us. The only thing that saved me from even being laid flat in my ass was years of experience and honed instinct. I was thinking that we were going to lose, but then a miracle happened.
Adam used his semblance and hurricane force winds slammed into the grunts and anyone else in the way. I noticed that he missed the white haired one by the barest of margins. But, because of that, I saw a possible way out of this hellhole of a situation.
When the gust of his wind slammed into the creates, it actually dislodged one of them slightly, making it tilt out by about four inches. It wasn't much, but if I played my cards correctly, then I could use it to my advantage.
I pressed the attack again, but this time purposely aiming high to attack the crate that just so happened to be above the yellowed haired one and the injured Faunus girl. I went about it as subtly as I could, as I knew if they caught on then it would all be over.
It was touch and go at the end there, with only five grunts and myself standing, completely and utterly exhausted, but I accomplished my goal.
"WATCH OUT!" I heard Red scream as she noticed the crate falling over right on top of her teammates. It was a gruesome way to go, being squished by 50 tons of dust was not fun I imagined, but I had to escape and this would hopefully make them back off and retreat for help. Out of respect and morbid curiosity, I decided to actually watch as the crate descended and crush the two of them.
I watched as their eyes widen to the size of dinner plates, fear and horror overtaking their eyes as they watched their impending doom fast approach. I could practically see their lives flash before their eyes. That was, until I saw a glint of something in Yellow's.
Then, somehow, my night got worse. Because, instead of getting squished into a pancake like any other living being on the planet, she instead, caught it. With her bare hands.
"That... that isn't possible. A crate like that weighs 50 tons." I silently murmured to myself, a tone of awe and horror in my voice.
Standing there, on one knee, Yellow was holding up a truly gargantuan crate of dust. That didn't mean she was doing like it was nothing, far from it actually, as I saw her visibly tremble with the weight. But, she refused to fall.
I heard the sounds of tearing muscles and breaking bones come from her, but no matter the injuries, she didn't fall another inch. Black looked up at her in wide eyed awe and desperation, tears flowing from her in streams. It seems she wished for Yellow to get the hell out of the way and instead let it fall on her. Can't say I blame her, because from the looks, I don't think she'll be walking again. It seems Adam's katana hit the spinal cord.
Yellow opened her eyes, blood flowing from them due to the immense strain put on her body. Her eyes looked down on Black's, and despite the clear pain she was in, a smile full of love and admiration came upon her face.
Steeling herself, Yellow forced herself onto both her feet, blood now gushing from her mouth and ears.
"AHHHHHHH!" A roar befitting of a dragon escaped from her blood filled mouth and she held the crate high on shaking knees. I was staring in wide eyed awe at the scene, completely entrapped with the show of strength in front of me. I might of just tried to kill her, but that didn't mean I didn't have to be impressed with what I was seeing. This was the greatest feat of physical strength that I've ever seen.
She held the metaphorical weight of the world on her shoulders at that moment, standing tall all the while, refusing to succumb to her pain. Then, with another mighty roar, she decided to do the impossible again. Heaving with all her strength, she threw the crate to the side, saving her and her teammates life.
No sooner did she do that, she collapsed. Blood poured from her eyes, ears, nose and mouth. To be completely honest, I think she actually killed herself with that stunt she just pulled.
However, before she could even hit the ground, a red blur shot towards her and caught her. Red was openly crying at her state and White was right along with her, having done the same thing when she threw it out of the way.
I heard the sound of a Bullhead and I knew it was time to go. I wanted nothing more than to just get this shit night over with. As soon as I make it back to base, I'm finding the hardest brand of liquor I can.
Ruby's POV
"YANG!" As soon as she threw the crate out of the way and collapsed towards the ground, I shot off after her. Before she was even a tenth of the way down, I caught her and lightly placed her on the ground.
Weiss was just as quick as I was, arriving as soon as I placed her on the ground. Tears were flowing from hers, Blake's and my eyes. Yang looked a sight, blood poured from her like a well, with it dripping down onto my clothes and hands. I didn't even register it.
Weiss then stared to go over her with all the medical knowledge she learned from Signal, though it was clear that she was packing, we all were.
"She isn't breathing and I can't feel a heartbeat." I heard Weiss mutter in absolute horror. Blake's and I eyebrows shot to the top of our heads in surprise.
The outside world didn't register with me at all as Weiss started doing CPR on Yang. I didn't register anything, not the pained groans of the White Fang grunts around me, not the sound of the Bullhead coming in, or even the shouts from Roman to retreat. All that was clear was my own heartbeat and Yang's body in front of me.
On autopilot, my hands made their way towards Yang and I clutched to her uniform. I didn't even hear my own voice, but I knew I was uttering her name.
Form the side, I saw Blake slide herself onto her butt, clutching and screaming Yangs name in utter despair. She was crying rivers of tears, the mascara that I put on her now running down her face.
I just continued to stare at Yang, now screaming her name in the same tone as Blake and Weiss, though I still couldn't hear my voice.
My mind started playing images of all the time I spent with her. From my earliest memories, to the present day, they all flashed by in my mind in instant. I remembered everything, form the good to the bad, every memory I've had with her was at the forefront of my mind.
But beyond that, all I could think about was how I didn't want to lose her. I wasn't ready for that, I don't think I ever will be.
There's still so much that I still want to do with her, I haven't even told her about my feelings for her! I still wanted to cuddle, sing, dance, study, kiss, hug, play, and have fun with her! I can't lose her now! There's still so much to do! I CAN'T LOSE HER!
At that moment, something happened. The auras from Weiss, Blake and I suddenly surged, Weiss and I more than Blake. They coalesced into one, reaching dozens of feet into the air.
I could feel all of our auras rapidly depleting by the second and it was starting to get foggy, but I noticed something. Yang's injuries were starting to heal, Blake's as well. It was at that moment that I realized that we were actively healing with our aura. We were saving Yang's life.
Throwing all caution to the wind, I poured all my aura into it, intent on healing as much as I could. And it was working!
Yang wasn't actively bleeding anymore, though blood still coated her face. From the side, I saw Blake's injury completely heal over, though their was now a noticeable scar, but it was better than a severed spinal cord.
I gave it my all, but i eventually ran out of aura to pour in. If I gave anymore, I would have passed out.
I saw Yang take in a sharp breath, and immense relief spread all throughout my body. We all openly sobbed and collapsed onto Yang in sheer unadulterated joy. She was going to live, I still have my oldest sister with me. With us.
Sound finally came back to me and all I heard was the sound of crying and a Bullhead. With a great amount of strength, I raised my head and looked towards the later noise.
My blood ran hot in rage as I saw Roman, who was carrying Cardin, that red head man, and the still standing grunts make their way onto the Bullhead.
I stared daggers into Roman, hating him more than anything in the world. He just about killed Yang, and in some sense, he did. Her heart did stop beating after all.
My anger surged tenfold and I felt that same feeling I did when I first used that wired silver beam when I saw Cardin about to kill Blake. But just when it was about to fire, it dissipated and a headache overcame me. I used to much aura.
Not letting that stop me, I forced myself onto my feet and stared right at Roman and the shadowy figure behind him. I saw a real fear in his eyes when he met mine.
I raised Crescent Rose and fired a shot at him. However, just like the time before at the dust shop, a beam of fire came out and met it head on.
The Bullhead then flew up and was making its escape, no matter how much I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to catch them now. That doesn't mean they weren't in screaming distance though.
"I'LL KILL YOU MOTHERFUCKER! YOU HEAR ME! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU!" By the time I finished screaming my lungs out, they were already about a quarter mile away.
I leaned on Crescent Rose as I stared with hatred at the departing Bullhead in the distance, swearing revenge all the while.
I heard the sounds of some one landing behind me, and already being on high alert, I turned on a dime and aimed down the the sights of Crescent Rose.
"Ruby, it's me, Winter. It's ok now." In front of me was Winter and I felt immense relief and exhaustion fall over me. I carefully placed down Crescent Rose and made my way over towards my sisters, intent on never leaving their sides again.
I collapsed down next to Weiss who looked just as exhausted as I was. Blake and Yang were currently passed out next to us.
Winter made her way over, and kneeled in front of us, worry and fear evident in her eyes. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but nothing came out. She remained that way for a little bit, trying to figure something out to say.
She didn't speak, instead she done the best thing possible in my opinion. She opened her arms up, a protective look coming over her eyes. Tears just started flowing as I latched into her, and I felt Weiss do the same thing, sobbing as loud as she could. I joined her, completely and utterly exhausted from today's events.
Well, here it is, another Chapter!
I swear to you, I don't like writing them being in pain, I really don't, though my track record say otherwise.
I'm going to be honest and say that I really like how this Chapter came out, sure, some stuff could have been done better, but overall I really liked it. Why is that all the chapters that I liked have them going through some kind of pain?
Fun fact, this Chapter here was actually one of the big reasons I started writing this fic in the first place, though it obviously changed throughout time.
This is what I meant when I said this chapter will be controversial, a lot of stuff happened.
First, I gave Cardin the Cinder treatment, but just done it on the other side. Who knows, they might be twins.
If my calculations are correct, then Ruby went Mach 2.345 or something like that, so that's neat. Just to let you know, she won't be going at that speed again for a while, the only reason she went that fast in the first place was due to sheer desperation to get to Blake as fast as she could. She will eventually get there again, it will just be a little bit.
The same thing for Yang with her lifting 100,000 pounds, she won't replicate something like that for a while, the only she did what she did was to protect Blake at all cost. Think of it like real life where people have shown super human strength in similar situations. Fun Fact, when Eddie Hall, the first man to deadlift 500kgs, did that lift, he said he wasn't lifting 500kgs, he was lifting the car on his son and wife. So think of that scene like that, just taken to the extreme.
Ruby unlocked her eye powers sooner as well! I actually got this idea from one of you, asking if she could unlock it early. I liked the idea, but I had no Idea how I would go about until I thought of something. So this is it. Probably not the way you wanted them unlocked though.
I'm going to be honest and say that I don't know if Ruby's eyes have the power to do what they did in this chapter. I know they could do it against Grimm, but I don't know about people. I think she could because of Cinder, but unless that's been explained she her injuries differently, then I apologize. We'll just say that they do that for simplicity's sake.
Yang died and Blake lost all feelings from her waist down, but a new power has awakened and healed them completely! I actually had this power planned for a while, but I didn't know how to implement it until now. Just to get it out of the way, they have to be standing still just like Jaune has to do when he enhances someone's aura, so it ain't that overpowered.
I can also assure you, this was a great teaching moment for Team RWBY, so don't worry that this whole thing won't have consequences, I promise you there will be.
Ruby now despises Roman, Cardin, Adam and the White Fang, though the rest of them do as well. I wonder how this will play out?
Let me know if you liked this chapter or despised it, I really would like to know. If you have any suggestions for the story then please leave them, they may just happen!
Also, over 100k words written! I never thought I would actually do something like this in all my life! It sure has been a journey, one that I'm glad I done!
But, that is all I got for, so until next time, and have an amazing day!
