Return of a Champion, Chapter 2 Return

With May

May looked out at the beautiful scenery as Norman drove them to the Champions League Tournament, May was smiling; for the first time in a long while, she was excited; hopefully she would see a certain raven-haired trainer. "May you look happy today," Norman commented, as he drove.

"Yeah, I just can't wait to see Max battle," She said while smiling, not wanting to tell her family the truth about her wanting to go.

"Well, I'm so glad to see you happy," Norman replied.

"I am to honey," Caroline chimed in.

Norman and Caroline were happy, as they hadn't seen their daughter this happy in a long time, and they hoped they would continue to see her this happy. "That's not the reason she's so happy," Max said with a smug smile on his face.

May glared at her younger brother, annoyed at him. "Max," She angrily grumbled under her breath.

"What's the reason she's so happy for?" Norman asked his son, puzzled as to what could make his daughter so happy.

May continued to glare at her brother. "Shut up, Max," she said angrily to her brother.

"She's hoping to see Ash there," Max replied.

Norman's and Caroline's eyes widened, both surprised to learn why their daughter was going "Why do you expect to see Ash there, honey?" Caroline asked her daughter.

"Well, you know how much Ash loves battling, and how could he pass up the opportunity to face strong trainers?" May replied.

"I haven't thought of that," Norman said.

"I didn't either, until Max brought it up," May said truthfully.

"So, that's the reason you're going?" Caroline asked May.

"Well, it's one of the reasons," May said.

"Sis, don't lie; it's the reason you're going," Max said, giving a soft chuckle.

May softly giggled "Okay, you got me; that's the reason," May said.

"Hey, I know we've talked about this before, but do you really think Ash left?" May asked her family.

"Pumpkin, to be honest, I don't know; I want to believe all of Ash's friends. but it just seems so out of character for Ash to say something like that and to leave," Norman said, while thinking of the real reason why Ash had left.

"Yeah, plus their story is full of holes," Max chimed in.

"But, why would they lie?" May asked her family.

Sweetie, that's a good question, but I don't know how to answer that either," Caroline replied.

The family was so deep into their conversation, that they didn't even realize they had arrived at the Pokémon League Tournament. They all got out of the car and looked around the city in amazement, as the city was huge, and had everything you could think of: all kinds of shops, Pokémon centers, Hotels, Restaurants, etc. "I can't wait to visit all the shops and restaurants," May said.

Norman sighed, feeling his wallet getting smaller by the time the Tournament was over with, but he also knew how much May loved food and shopping; maybe this would cheer her up even more. The Maple family then went to their hotel and checked into their room.

Meanwhile, With Ash

Ash just arrived at The Pokémon Champions Tournament, as he hopped of his Charizard, he gained a few stares. Since Ash had left, he had become a very strong trainer, earning trophy after trophy from a lot of leagues. He also went by a new name, Aaron, Look, it's Aaron," Someone in the crowd said, and with that, a big crowd began running towards him.

Ash quickly ran to the hotel, where he would be checking in. "Having fun, Master Aaron?" His Lucario asked him, teasingly.

"Shut it, Lucario," He replied.

Ash turned around and saw one of the traitors in the hotel lobby, May Maple. Ash didn't know May wasn't there when all of his friends turned their backs on him, so he still held the same attitude towards her. His eyes stayed glued to her. He tried to get angry at her, but he just couldn't bring himself to be angry at her. Something had changed about May. He then looked into her sapphire eyes, which used to be full of life, but they looked dead.

May, though, somehow had gotten even more beautiful; her hair was still in upside down u shape, her breasts had gotten bigger, and she still had an hourglass figure. Overall, she was just really beautiful. Ash just stood there with dirty thoughts running through his mind. Lucario and Pikachu just watched on chuckling. May noticed the staring coming from the stranger, but usually when she caught someone checking her out, she would be a little creeped out, but not with his person; it was like she was drawn to him.

Ash snapped out of his trance when May walked past him. He went to the front desk and checked in and grabbed the key to his room, and then went to his room "Master Aaron, do you want to talk about what happened out there?" Lucario asked his trainer in teasing manner.

Ash gave his Pokémon a glare. Nothing," He said with a little anger in his voice.

"Pika (Are you sure, that didn't look like nothing)" Pikachu chimed in, teasing his trainer.

"I wish you two would shut it," Ash said to both of his Pokémon.

"In all seriousness, what happened back there?" Lucario asked him.

"What are you talking about?" Ash asked his Pokémon back, confused.

"Well, aren't you supposed to hate the traitors? Well, it looked like to me you didn't hate May," Lucario said in a teasing manner.

Ash blushed "Well yeah, but for some odd reason, I just couldn't bring myself to be mad at her," Ash replied, just as confused as his Pokémon.

"That's really odd, maybe because of her breast size," Lucario stated bluntly.

Ash blushed again "Lucario, how do you even know about that stuff?" Ash asked Lucario.

"I heard it from other trainers," He replied.

"No, that's not the reason why, even if she has nice breasts, I think because when I looked into her eyes, all I saw was sadness in them," Ash said.

"Hmn, that's strange; why would she be so sad?" Lucario asked.

"I know right, I don't get either," Ash said.

Ash took a shower, and while in the shower, Ash had deep thoughts about May, like, Why did she look so sad?, why couldn't he bring himself to be angry at her?Why was he having dirty thoughts about her? And why was he starting to have feelings for her?

Back with May

May was currently in the Pokémon Center with her brother, so that he could register for the tournament "Hey May" a familiar voice called out.

May looked over and saw all of Ash's friends, well, former friends, and she could see that Dawn had called her name. She mentally cringed. Ever since Ash had left, May had grown apart from all of Ash's friends. She didn't know why either; she just had a gut feeling that they had something to do with Ash's disappearance. "Hey Dawn," She said, putting on a fake smile.

"How have you been?" Dawn asked.

"Fine, just hanging in there," May replied, wanting this conversation to end quickly.

Stil, you haven't gotten over Ash, May you need to move on," Dawn said to her.

May let out a sigh, she knew this was coming. Another thing that was suspicious about Ash's friends, was that even though May said multiple times that she loved Ash and Ash only and nothing would ever get her over his disappearance, She figured at first that they were just being good friends and trying to help her move on from Ash, but each time it would become more aggressive and forceful, and May would become more annoyed and angry each time they would tell her to move on. "Dawn, how many times do I have to tell you? I can never move on from Ash." She spat angrily at Dawn.

Dawn was taken aback, May was never normally an angry person, unless it came to food, Ash, or Pokémon. "You could try to date Drew again," Dawn suggested.

May glared angrily at Dawn. Since Ash had left, All of his former friends would try to setup up with him, even after May had caught Drew cheating on her and it would make her angry each time they tried to. "Dawn, I'm not dating that asshole again" May replied, her voice laced with venom.

May was getting more annoyed and angrier with every second, but with what Dawn said next pushed her over the edge. "Why can't you get over him, May, he's never coming back anyway," Dawn said.

May, to even her own shock, pushed Dawn to the ground with tears streaming down her face. "DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT, AND DAWN, DON'T EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!" She yelled at her in anger.

Dawn trembled and ran back to the group of traitors. May soon gained her senses back, wiped the reaming tears from her face, and got back in the line with her brother. Max watched the whole scene unfold. Well, everybody had heard and seen what just transpired. With his mouth hung open, he soon gained his senses back. "Wow, May, you really showed her" Max said while chuckling.

May softly giggled "Yeah, I did didn't" May said while giggling.

Just when things couldn't get worse for May, she heard another familiar voice say, "Well, if isn't May Maple" The voice said.

The voice belonged to Drew Hayden. Since they had broken up and Ash left, Drew had tried to date May, and he harassed and stalked her, even though she rejected his advances. Drew was an asshole when they had first been in Hoenn, but he had somehow gotten worse over time, and her journey through Johto had been miserable. With Harley becoming even more annoying and with Drew becoming even more of an asshole, She had thought about asking Ash if she could journey with him through Sinnoh; now she wished she had. The only reason why she had dated Drew, was because she was trying to move on.

"What do you want, Drew?" May asked, hissing with anger.

"Well, I just wanted to see if you date me?" Drew asked, handing her a rose.

May threw the rose on the floor and stomped on it angrily. May used to love roses, but now she despises them. "Hell no, I told you I never wanted to date you again," May said with anger rising in her voice.

"Oh, c'mon, don't be like that," Drew said as he grabbed May's sides forecibly.

"Get your hands off of me," She said, trying to break his grip.

May struggled and tried to break free from his grip, but no matter how hard she squirmed and struggled, she could break free of his grip "Leave her alone Drew"
