Summary: Cameron and Zoey know they're about to be separated by Lightning once the challenge ends, so they decide to spend one more moment at the dock watching the sunset together.

It had been a rough day for Zoey and Cameron, today was the final three challenge and despite them trying to team up, Zoey's more ruthless side and the mutant forest was really starting to tear them apart. Thankfully, Zoey came to her senses in the end and saved Cameron's life… or she tried at least, even at the cost of Lightning winning immunity. Now Lightning had a guaranteed spot at the final three and Cameron or Zoey were bound to be eliminated tonight. However, the elimination wasn't set to start until nighttime so Zoey and Cameron still got to hang out before that time. To get away from Lightning, they just decided to sit at the dock together and watch the sunset.

"How's the bump?" Zoey decided to start the conversation, referencing how Lightning threw a log at Cameron's head earlier.

"It's not so bad. I guess Lightning wasn't too angry with me, hehe." Cameron laughed nervously before sighing, "I'm sorry about today Zoey."

"What do you mean?" Zoey raised an eyebrow.

"If I had just thrown you the flower instead of getting all upset with you, we'd be in the final two together, but now one of us is going home." Cameron said sadly.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about this. I was a mess today. I went all commando and everything." Zoey put a hand on the bubble boy's shoulder.

"I guess that's fair. I must ask though, what was that all about anyway?" Cameron asked curiously.

Zoey looked downcast and Cameron immediately felt bad for asking, "You don't have to tell me-" He began before Zoey shushed him.

"No. You deserve to know, I owe you that much." Zoey replied before explaining, "Basically I was starting to feel the effects of this game. Scott was messing with me, Chris and Chef were becoming unbearable, and dealing with Lightning and Jo wasn't exactly pleasant. Between that and Mike getting voted off the way he did made me snap. I was sick of being pushed around all the time and I felt I had to do something about it but I ended up hurting the one friend I had left in this game."

"Wow… I don't know what to say." Cameron said in shock, "I'm sorry that happened to you."

"It's fine. I'm learning to move on." Zoey smiled softly at Cameron as the bubble boy looked to see the sun had almost set. Cameron wasn't going to let Zoey know this yet but he knew he was going home today. Lightning hated his guts and had no quarrel with Zoey, it was very clear he was screwed tonight. He might as well let Zoey know how much he appreciated her before she would be isolated with nobody but an egomaniac and two psycho hosts to keep her company.

"Zoey, before one of us has to go tonight, I just want to thank you." Cameron smiled at the red head.

"Thank me? How so?" Zoey asked curiously.

"For helping me come out of my shell and to enjoy life. I haven't exactly gotten to experience the highs and lows of being outside my bubble but you really made the experience worth it, even after all the hardships I had to endure." Cameron explained causing Zoey to smile with tears in her eyes.

"And if I'm eliminated," Cameron began, a total lie 'if I'm eliminated' more like 'WHEN I'm eliminated', "I want to wish you good luck in the finale."

"Aw Cameron!" Zoey embraced the bubble boy, "I really appreciate you too. Thank you for being my friend."

Cameron returned the hug and soon the two looked to see the sun finally lower from the sky and the night had finally begun.

"All campers! Please head to the dock for the final elimination of the season!" Chris' loud voice said through the loudspeaker.

Cameron smiled in acceptance, he was ready, even if he would be heading back to his bubble, at least he grew as a person.

Meanwhile Zoey frowned solemnly, no matter how this was going to go, she was not looking forward to leaving Cameron.
