(Third Opening Theme: Gintama Opening 15-Pride Kakumei Performed By CHiCO w/HoneyWorks)

The outside had been just as bad as Karasu had previously predicted. Everyone had been practically fighting each other to get to a safe place from the corpses; and even went as far as to toss others to the corpses as to buy themselves time.

He and the group he had been with were extremely lucky to find a safe place where the corpses failed to notice them. Though he had a lot of explaining to do, he knew. As soon he and his sister, along with Avalon, Erin, Blaise and Dylan found a place where they would be safe, they started to bombard him with questions-regarding a certain tater-tot he knew.

He felt as though he didn't have a choice.

Seeing as how they had time to kill-He told them everything.

Or at least, certain things he wanted them to know.

Though neither of them couldn't believe it, as they had a look of shock on what it was him, and Sachiko had told them.

"The Princess?!" Erin said in disbelief, "That little tomboy girl friend of yours-Is the lost Princess of Clover?"

"Yeah…" Karasu replied, "... Though she's more like the true heir to Clover if anything."

"Well that explains why the Captains were protecting her in the first place." Dylan said.

"Wait, wait, wait-" Blaise said, "-If she's supposed to be the Princess that went missing five centuries ago like it said in the stories, then where the hell has she been the whole time?!"

"I don't really get it, but she was stuck in a tree." Karasu replied.

"She doesn't know how she got there, but-" Sachiko said as she comforted Shiromori who had been shaking, "-The tree kept her alive that whole time."

The four of them took a moment to process the information as Karasu could see them pondering, and trying their best to wrap their heads around the whole thing in general. "Okay, look, I know this is hard to wrap your heads around but-" Karasu started to say.

"Yeah, well no shit!" Erin said, "I don't know if you noticed, but everything you just told us is a little hard to swallow. I mean-Not only did you tell us that the Barbados Family bloodline-Some of the worst royals that ever existed is alive, but the long lost Princess, who by all accounts should be dead, survived!?"

"Hey-" Karasu said as he coughed a little, "-I don't know what you've heard but Pluck's family are the victims if anything!"

"They're the victims?!" Erin said in disbelief, "They're the victims!? How can you say that after all the hell they put us through?! "

"Erin please-" Sachiko told her. "—They're not bad people. I get along with the Triple As, Vandy and Jubei! Even Pluck-sensei taught me a lot of things! He taught me this country's language!"

"That Owl killer? Like hell he did!" Erin said. "I should have finished him before I knew who he was!"

"No wonder Plucky's all Buddy buddy with her!" Blasie added. "I bet those two are in cahoots!"

"I know he seems like a bad guy but he's not!" Karasu said, "And Prism's not either!"

"But how do you know that?" Avalon asked worryingly as Karasu looked at her a bit, "For all you know, they could be working with the King!"

"Because she's better than him!" Karasu told her as the group had been surprised by the tone of voice he took. Karasu took a deep breath to collect himself, "... I've-Met him before. The King is nothing more than a pathetic man, who only cares more about himself then he does for everyone else. I bet he's not even doing anything for the situation at hand, even with his powerful magic. Prism on the other hand, is not like that. She's been doing everything she can to make sure everyone is safe and alive, even if it means she has to get hurt. It doesn't matter if they're strangers, she'll still help them."

"Prism-neechan, helped save my aniki you know!" Sachiko said, "Asta-niichan said so! When they were defending a village, she healed his wounds so that they could fight. And she understands people like us more then any other royal has tried to."

The look on their faces changed again.

"She-Isn't all that bad of a girl I guess." Erin said, "She genuinely wanted to help those people we trapped."

"Yeah-" Blaise said as his look softened, "-And she didn't want to kill anyone… Not even Hywel, despite him being an ass."

"And she tried to talk me out of kidnapping her." Dylan said, "It-Actually seemed like she wanted to help me."

"But-" Avalon said, "-She's still basically a kid… How do the Captains even know she's got what it takes?"

"I know Prism is still fourteen-" Karasu said, "-But she's got guts. Even if she's not aware of it-She's got what it takes to be the Queen. I trust her to make the smart choices. Because no matter who she is-No matter what her past is like-" His look soon softened, "-She's my friend. And all of you know… I can't stand the thought of losing someone I care about."

The group couldn't help but have second thoughts after hearing this sort of thing.

"Well if you say she's okay with you, then she's okay with me, Arai." Blasie said.

"That Owl Killer is another story." Erin said. "I still want payback."

"Seriously?" Sachiko said, "We just poured our heart to her and you're still thinking about killing Pluck-sensei?"

They were soon taken back when they heard the doors start to bang; they looked over to see the corpses had been clawing and banging against the wooden barricade.

"Shit!" Blaise said, "We gotta move, now!"

"That Mushroom Head guy was going to the castle right?" Avalon said, "We should get moving too! The others might be there!"

Karasu shook his head as he coughed, "Prism could be on the far side of the capital as far as we know. I'm not leaving without her." He soon turned to Sachiko, "But I'd appreciate it if you take Sachiko there. She can't be out here any longer than she needs to be."

Sachiko only shook her head at this, "I'm not leaving you aniki. You'll need me."

Karasu had a worrisome look on his face, "But your magic-"

"I can manage-" Sachiko said, "-It'll be just like stealing stuff again."

"I don't mind re-living the good old days with ya Little Crow." Erin said with a smile as she spun her staff, "It'll be like we never broke up."

"Hells yeah-" Blaise said, "-I'm always down to fight as long as it's with you sweetiekins!"

Karasu only turned redder then his fever cheeks, "Refrain-PLEASE."

"Well despite everything that happened your still the least annoying." Dylan said, "So it's a good day to die I guess."

Avalon soon smiled as she had gotten out her grimoire, "We'll fight together, Karasu-Do or die right?"

Karasu only smiled at this before they had gotten alert when the corpses busted in. Karasu drew the hook sword he had borrowed from Prism. Erin readied her staff, while Avalon manifested her magic with the help of her grimoire that floated beside her. Blaise whistled as a hound made from flames emerged from the ground while Dylan manifested her knives. The corpses soon came into the building as they groaned raspily.

"WHO WANTS TO SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME WITH DADDY?" Blaise said with a smirk as his face looked to be filled with malice.

The corpses seemed to have let out a screech as they ran towards them. Karasu had been the first to charge as he let out a warcry, as he sliced the first corpse he had been close to.

"There now my little warrior… It's okay to cry."

Prism felt her head ache as she felt herself slowly open her eyes at the sound of her mothers voice. She found that she had been inside what looked to be a half finished as she appeared to be on the floor; she noticed that her bloody knuckle had been wrapped in a makeshift bandage as well as a set of cold rags on her new set of burns. She was soon quick to realize that she only had half of a vision as her eye had been covered with what looked to be a makeshift tourniquet as she noticed a faint sting.

She only groaned as she tried to move but she felt… Oddly tired.

That was when-Despite the smokes from the fire, she detected the faint smell of tobacco.

"Oh? You finally awake, Sleeping Beauty?" Yami said as he had a cigarette in his mouth.

Prism turned and found Yami staring down at her; it took her but a moment to realize that her head had been on his lap which took her back. "Ya… Yami…?" She groaned tiredly.

"Who else did you expect?" Yami asked before lightly flicking her, which made her squeak, "Don't go scaring people like that."

Theodore and Adrien soon came into view as he looked to be dragging Prism's pouch, "Oh!" He said excitedly, "Pretty Lady's awake!"

Adrien approached her side as laid on his stomach. He started to give cheek a lick as she giggled softly as she scratched underneath his chin causing him to purr.

"Where… Are we?" Prism soon asked.

"In the annex of a church that's being remodeled." Yami replied, "You ended up falling asleep after you cried your eyes out. Took me by surprise, but luckily this was close by, and was above ground, so it was safe from the zombies at least."

"Thank goodness." Prism said with relief. She soon felt Yami flick her again as she squeaked, "Ow! You meanie!"

"That's what you get for doing something crazy again." Yami said. "No wonder Sword Boy goes Mother hen when you do stuff like that."

Prism's look soon softened before she turned on her side, groaning slightly over her wounds. "Your slap hurts by the way…" Prism said as she rubbed her cheek, "It's like you set your hand on fire… Meanie…"

Yami told her, "Hey, at least the pain is all you can think about rather than what you were about to do. You're lucky that slap was the only thing I did to get you back in reality. I could have punched you, but that probably would've broken your jaw."

Prism only grunted in response at this as Yami let out a huff, "Oh? We're going with the attitude now?" He said as she felt him poke her cheek, "Hey now that's not nice. I just saved you."

Prism only pouted before she said, "I can't help it if I'm a little frustrated at the moment."

Prism only squeaked when he started to pinch her cheek, "Owowowowow."

"Stop-That's abuse." Theodore said as his eyes had been blue.

Yami told her, "Remember you can't have a look like that on your face. You're the Princess that's friendly and smiles-Not the depressed and angry one. You don't want to end up like-" He soon made an impression as Prism could see he made a face, "-Like the Almighty King Augustus!"

Prism took a moment to process as she sat up. It hadn't been long before she ended up laughing, as some of the spirits shifted into a set of bright colors. "What the heck are you doing?" Prism asked as she giggled, "The capital is up in flames and you go and do something like that?"

Yami only smiled as he laughed to himself, "Hey, someone has to lighten the mood in these dark times and looks like I succeeded!"

Prism only laughed again as she couldn't get the face he made out of her head. Though that smile didn't seem to have lasted long as it soon fell from her face. She soon sat on her knees, "Yami, Theo-" She soon said before she bowed her head, "-I-I'm sorry for behaving like that!"

"Don't worry about it." Yami replied.

"Yeah, it's not like that was your fault, Pretty Lady." Theodore said.

"No-!" Prism said, "-I can not worry about it! I shouldn't have done something like that in the first place… But-I was just angry, scared, and-Really-Really upset! I'm still worried about them but… That's not an excuse for what I did." She soon bowed her head again, "I'm really sorry!"

Yami only gave a look before he flicked her head as Prism yelped. He told her, "I told you before, you don't have to apologize so much. Look, I get why you were so upset. You're worried about a member of your family, and that's understandable. People get upset and frustrated over things like that. What you felt was okay-So you don't have to say you're sorry for it."

"But-" Prism said worryingly as she thought back to earlier, "-You-Looked really mad before. I've… Never seen you like that, so I thought-"

"You're right, I was mad-But that was for an entirely different reason then what you're thinking of." He told her, "And like I mentioned before, don't worry about it."

Prism only sighed as she still had a look of guilt on her face. Yami gave her a pat on the head this time, "Sides-You don't have to worry about them so much. Especially that Uncle of yours. After all-He taught your mom everything she knows about fighting."

Prism looked shocked, "Nolan told you about that?"

Yami had replied as he took a puff, "For an Old man, he sure knows how to kick ass and take names. He told me that your mom is one of the few that surpassed him. He was proud that she did. If he can make your mom into the Warrior Chief she was-Then you can bet, he'll find his way back to you."

Prism could feel that her anxiety had elevated as she only smiled. Once more the smile left as she froze at the sound of the explosion outside. She whimpered as some of the spirits started to lose their color as she started to hyperventilate.

"Okay, don't panic." Yami told her, as he rubbed her back, "Just take deep breaths."

"W-What do we do now?" Prism soon asked, "We'll be safe here won't we?"

Yami shook her head, "If we want to stay alive then we'll have to move. Far away from here. Hopefully we can regroup with the others and get somewhere more fortified. And we'll help as many people as we can." He soon stood, "But listen-Under no circumstance are you to use your grimoire."

"Huh?" Prism asked as she stood as well, "But why?"

He told her as he had gotten the wet cloth off of her arms , "This mage, whoever he is-Has a lot of mana stored in him. We don't know if the corpses have the same kind of amount of mana that patches did. We can't risk it if it means you'll lose all feeling in your hands."

"But-" Prism soon said, "-Taking mana with my scythe isn't the only thing I can do." Yami looked puzzled at this. Prism took out her grimoire before she explained, "I don't remember much of it-But in the dungeon-I did something with Asta. When we were fighting Mars, I think I used some magic I've been collecting. If I can do that-Then maybe I can use it again. It's worth a try right?"

Yami gave a look before he sighed, "Fine-But you're only using your scythe for that when you bring it back out. Do not go cutting them up-Use only your sword and arrows. And-As for the other incantations, don't use them unless absolutely necessary, understand?"

Prism smiled before she gave the salute to him, "Yes sir!"

"Oh! Oh!" Theodore said as his eyes were pink as he tugged on Yami's ankle, "Can I help too?! I want to help too!"

"Fine, fine." Yami said, "That trick of yours might come in handy-" He soon turned to Adrien, "-And you look after your partner for me."

Adrien let out a squawk as they each readied themselves.

He soon moved to the stairs, "Stay close to me Lizard Girl."

Prism nodded in reply as she set her bow and arrows and readied her sword.

Yami soon approached the door at the bottom of the stairs as he opened the door slowly. He opened the door and peeked through; though he heard the corpses outside, he could see none of them had been inside. He motioned Prism quietly to move as she nodded. Picking up Theodore and with Adrien behind them, they left the annex and made their way out of the building.

Prism set on her red scarf around her head to cover ears as they ventured outside, they could hear the sounds of screaming as the fires raged. The corpses that noticed them as Prism quickly shot them with her arrow while Yami quickly sliced a couple in two.

They ventured through the streets for what seemed like hours, as they took down the corpses that had come down their path. They even helped as many people as they could. Many of the mages that attacked them nearly devoured themselves, till after Yami struck them down.

"What are you waiting for?!" Yami told the Mages, "Go and get these people to the Magic Knight Headquarters!"

"Ye-Yes sir!" One of the Mage said before he lead the group they had saved in the direction of the Knight Headquarters.

"Go on now!" Prism said to the group they had saved, "Stay together! You'll be okay!"

"Single file now-" Theodore said, "-Don't go pushing each other."

"Give me an update here-" Yami said to the Mages, "-Where are the other Magic Knights?"

"We were told they're in different parts of the Capital!" The Mage replied, "But, most of them are guarding the Castle."

"Are you serious?!" Yami said, as he clicked his tongue, "We need all hands on deck right now!"

"But sir-" The Second Mage said, "-The King could be at risk!"

"TO HELL WITH THAT!" Yami shouted as it made him flinch, "EVERYONE IS AT RISK RIGHT NOW!"

Prism quickly held Yami back as she was quick to calm him down after she gave him a pleading look.

"Can't you call another Magic Knight?" Prism asked.

The Mage had replied, "We can't. Most of the other Magic Knights are on other missions right now! I'm sorry but if we lose the King then everything will go to hell."

Yami only growled as he said, "Tch, Damn it all."

"Captain Yami!"

Prism and Yami looked over to see another Mage had approached them, "Thank God I found you!" He said, relieved, "They're people trapped in a building by the corpses! I tried to get them out, but they're too many of them!"

"What?!" Prism and Yami said in shock.

"Where's the building?!" Prism asked with urgency.

"It's back there!" The third Mage replied with urgency, "Two blocks down!"

"Damn-" Yami said, before he told the group of Mages, "-Keep trying for the other Magic Knights-We'll take care of it! And make sure these people get to safety!"

"But the corpses-" The third Mage started to say.

"That doesn't matter-Go!" He told them before he along with Prism quickly went to where the building had been.

As they turned the corner Yami quickly put Prism to the wall when he caught sight of a whole group of corpses practically clawing their way through and even resorted to hitting their heads against the wooden boards. They could hear the sounds of groaning and the faint sound of voices from inside the building.

"Do you think that's it?" Prism asked.

"Yeah-" Yami replied, "-I can sense a lot of Ki in there."

"Wait, seriously?" She said, "You can tell that? But I thought you usually sense other people with mana."

"Normally yeah." Yami told her. "However it's not reliable all the time so the next best thing is to sense their ki. It gives the user an advantage against all kinds of situations."

"So-You don't just use it for meditation-Like when I talked with Aurora?" Prism asked curiously.

Yami told her, "Basically. Don't worry, I'll be sure to show you what I mean when this is all over. It is the next step in your lessons anyway." He soon turned the building, "Though this might be a bit tough."

"How are we supposed to get them out?" Theodore asked, "They're too many of them."

"I would disagree, but I gotta converse my mana." Yami said.

Prism soon started to ponder as she looked to the crowd of corpses that had been desperately trying to break in. "If we can't take them out, we'll need to buy time." Prism said, "One of us is going to have to create a diversion, while the rest of us get the people out."

"Am I gonna have to be the bait?" Theodore said in a monotone voice, "I don't like confrontation."

Yami told him, "Not the best idea." Soon he picked him up by the head, "But it's the best bad idea we got."

"Aww, why do I get to be the bait?" Theodore asked before his eyes changed to pink, "Can't you do that? You're big."

Yami told him, "Yeah exactly why I can't be the bait. Someones gotta keep this Lizard Girl alive. "

"Can't the lizard be bait instead?" Theodore asked as his eyes turned blue.

"Actually-" Yami said, "-I was thinking you both can be."

Adrien only squawked in confusion as he tilted his head, while Theodore tilted his head. Yami told them both as he set Theodore on Adrien's back, "That's right, you two are bait."

"But I'm like a baby." Theodore said before his eyes switched back to pink, "You don't send babies into battle silly."

Yami only gave Theodore a look as a menacing aura came over him as it made the little canine shake, "I'm sorry, are you asking to die right now?"

"HEY! ONLY I CAN BE SCARY!" Theodore shouted as his eyes were green despite the fact that he was shaking.

"Theo!" Prism said as she lifted him up off of Adriens back. She soon gave him a pleading look, "Please-This is important. People's lives are at stake. We need to help them. All of us do."

Thedore's eyes softened as he looked at Prism's face. It seemed… All too familiar to him. His eyes shifted to gray as his tail swayed, "Is… This really important to you?"

Prism nodded her head in response as her look still remained. Theodore only sighed, "Okay Pretty Lady-I'll do it for you." Prism soon had a smile before she gave Adrien a pat on the muzzle, "Look after him and be careful, okay bud?"

Adrien gave a huff before he licked her cheek.

"So-" Theodore said, "-What should I do to get their attention?"

In the next minute Theodore was suddenly in a grass skirt as he suddenly began to dance in front of the corpses. Theodore had been split in two again as one had been Pink and the other had been blue and had a monotone expression

"LUAU!" Pink Theodore shouted before he started to dance on top of Adrien as Adrien himself didn't look like he had been enjoying it as he had been pretending he was on a dish.

The Blue Theodore looked to be beating on a drum as he didn't look like he was enjoying it either.

If you're hungry for a hunk of fat and juicy meat

Eat my buddy Adri here because he is a treat!

Come on down and dine!

On this tasty swine, all you have to do is get in line!

The corpses started to move from the door as they started to move towards them. Just as they did, Prism and Yami approached the building as they kept themselves quiet.

(PINK THEO)

Are you aching!?

(BLUE THEO)

Yup, yup, yup

(PINK THEO)

For some bacon?!

(BLUE THEO)

Yup, yup, yup

(PINK THEO)

He's a BIG pig!

(BLUE THEO)

Yup, yup, yup

(PINK THEO)

You can be a big pig too-OY!

The corpses let out a screech as they went charging at them. Adrien quickly stood as he picked up the Pink and Blue Theodore before he started to run; as to be expected, the corpses chased after them without haste or hesitation. Prism only looked stunned by the situation as she looked at Yami.

"Yami-" Prism said, "-Did you seriously have my raptor pretend he's a tasty dish?"

"Hey it's a good bad plan, right?" Yami asked

"Yeah but-" Prism said, "-Really?"

"What? It was the best idea I could come up with on short notice." Yami told her, "Now let's get these people out of here." Yami went to reach for the lock and get the door open-Or so he thought. He had been quick to notice the lock appeared to be melted.

"Crap-" Yami said, "-One of the people in there must be a fire user. They melted the damn lock."

"Don't you usually kick doors open?" Prism asked.

Yami only gave her a look before he ruffled her hair, "Touche. But like I told you I gotta conserve my mana in times of crisis like this one. We're gonna have to find another way in." He soon noticed the flames that had been close by as they looked to be growing. The tower that was just next to it had been on the verge of collapsing, "We need to figure out one fast. If the corpses don't finish them-Then that will."

Prism soon looked around before she noticed what appeared to be an opening just in the corner and high above there heads and located around the corner; it looked to be a circular opening.

"Yami!" She said as she got him to follow her, before she pointed it out, "Right there!"

Yami smiled, "Good thinking Lizard Girl-" He soon scratched his head, "-Looks like it's too big for me to fit in."

"I can fit in." Prism said, as the look on Yami's face changed a little, "I can get in there and have the people go through."

"You sure?" He asked.

Prism only nodded at this as she had a look of determination. Yami seemed to have hesitated at this but eventually only sighed, "Okay kid."

Yami had been quick to get the vent open. He soon picked up Prism so that she had been sitting on her shoulder before he let her climb in. She groaned in agony as she climbed in; Yami assisted her as he pushed her inside from her heel.

"Just tell the people in there you're a Magic Knight." He told her, "Get them to come through one at a time and not rush. But if anything goes wrong-I'll bust you out, got it?"

Prism only nodded before she handed him her bow, "Here, I'd rather not get this caught in anything."

Yami took the bow before she felt his grip on her tighten a little, "I mean it Prism-If the fires come to this building-Then do what you can to get out. Don't stay in there any longer than you need to."

Prism only smiled in reassurance, "I'll be okay. I promise."

She soon felt him loosen his grip and her hand slipped out of his. Thus Prism ventured inside as she quickly crawled through. She eventually heard the sound of voices on the other side all filled with fear and distress. She soon found that there was a metal grate blocking the way. She reached for the bars before she tried to pry it open, but it was to no avail.

"Damn it-" She said, as she kept trying, even as she went to hit the bars with the back of her hook sword, "-They're bolted shut! I can't get it open!" She soon had an idea, "Unless-"

She soon took a deep breath as she started to concentrate. Her mind seemed to have cleared as she could only say one thing, to the being that could help her.

"Aurora-" She spoke softly, "-Lend me your strength."

When she opened her eyes she saw the veins on her arms glow white only for a moment, but she indeed felt a change. Sheathing her blade, she reached for the bars again. This time she gave one hard shove and the metal grate to the opposite side of the wall, startling the people inside.

Prism soon leaped inside as it shocked them. Some of them even readied their magic with their grimoires beside them; some were even shocked by Prism's appearance wounds alone frightened them.

"Whoa, whoa!" Prism said to the crowd as she held her hands up, "It's okay! I'm not here to hurt any of you!"

"Who the hell are you kid?!" One of them asked.

"My name is Primrose Vera!" She told the people calmly, "I'm a Magic Knight with the Black Bulls and I'm here to rescue you!"

Most of them calmed down while some looked unconvinced. "Y-" One of them said, "-You're just a kid?"

"I know, I'm older then I look." She said jokingly before she told the people, "You all can't stay here! The fires are spreading all over the streets and buildings! You all need to evacuate to the Magic Knight Headquarters where it's safe!"

"But those corpses are still out there!" Another had said.

"Maybe so, but it's better then staying in here-!" She told them, as some of them flinched "-You all need to get out the same way I got in. Captain Yami is out there right now! He'll give you further instructions on where to go!" She soon motioned them to move, "Hurry! We don't have much time!"

Most of the group of people looked to one another, as they seemed to have understood the situation at hand; the ones that had activated their magic, had put away their grimoires before they assisted her with the crowd. It hadn't been long before they gathered around the vent Prism had gotten through.

"Okay-One at a time!" Prism told the people as they started to go through, "Go as fast as you can! Don't stop for anything!"

One by one, the people inside went through, as Yami outside ushered the group to go in the direction he had specified as they were quick to move. Some even took their time to thank Prism for coming for them before venturing outside-Though it had been of a small gratitude Prism couldn't help but give a little smile at this sort of thing.

She counted every person that exited, as she urged them to continue forward.

She soon sighed with relief, "That's all of them-"

The spirits hiding in her hood soon whispered in her ear as she flinched. "Wait-" She mumbled softly, "-One more, are you sure?"

The spirits pointed towards the corner of the room as Prism could indeed see, there had been one more person; tucked away in the corner of the room hiding. The young woman looked to be in her early twenties as she had orange hair as it had been cut in a pixie bob; most of her scruffy looky hair looked to be on her left side. The blue dress she wore looked to be matted with dirt as it had been slightly torn.

She noticed that both of her arms had been around her belly in a protective manner.

"Miss?" Prism called out softly as the young woman had been trembling; she gently shook her, "Miss?"

The young woman seemed to have heard her as she looked to Prism, revealing that her cheeks had a set of freckles as her eyes had been pure silver like her hair as it had taken her back as she gasped lightly.

"Hi-" Prism said softly, "-Are you okay?"

The young woman couldn't speak as all she could do was nod.

"Listen-" Prism soon told her gently, "-We can't stay here, it'll be too dangerous. The fires might come here, or the corpses could come back. We have to go before either of that happens."

Finally the woman spoke; her voice had been soft like that of silk.

"I-I can't…" She said.

"I know you're scared-" Prism said, "-But it'll be okay. I promise."

The woman breathed as she still trembled, "... I'm-Not scared for me."

She soon removed her arms from her belly as Prism's eyes widened slightly as to what she had seen. It was at that moment she realized-The young lady before her had been pregnant. At this Prism's look softened as she kneeled down to eye level.

"What's your name?" Prism asked.

The young woman sniffled, "C-Carol."

"... Carol." Prism repeated, "Born on a holiday-Called Christmas-That's how you got your name right?"

The young woman-Carol looked a bit confused but she eventually replied, "Ye-yeah. My mother thought of it."

"... How far along are you?" Prism asked as she gestured to her belly.

Carol took a deep breath, "Fi-Five months. I was here to see a healing mage-My friend recommended me, when all this happened." She had tried to calm herself but she couldn't stop herself from crying, "He said-I was expected to have twins…"

Prism still kept her smile on her face, "That's wonderful! I bet their dad is going to be happy to hear that too."

Carol only laughed softly, "Y-Yeah. I guess he will be. Bu-But-I don't know if he'll be able to hear it…"

"Are you married to him?"

"N-No-He's my boyfriend…"

"I see. But-He must be a really great guy, since you're having children. My dad said it's a big responsibility, so not everyone can do it."

Carol laughed softly again, "I-It was unplanned… But-He and I-Wanted this… W-We don't have any regrets…"

"That's good." Prism said, "That just proves how much you love each other, and how much you'll love your children. Their dad-Must be a great man for him to accept that role."

Prism could see a smile form on Carol's face, "... Yeah… I guess we're all really lucky."

Prism took her hand as she helped her stand, "What do you say-We get out of here together, and tell their father the good news?"

Carol soon wiped away the tears as she nodded, "Ye-ah! Let's do that!"

Prism lead Carol over to the vent as she had been left unaware that something had been hiding behind the empty crates. "Alright-" Prism said as she didn't seem to realize something was watching her; she could already begin to smell the smoke, "-I'll give you a boast-Yami should still be outside."

"Yami?" Carol said a bit taken back, "From the Black Bulls?"

Prism nodded, "He's my Captain! Despite his personality, he's a really good person! He'll make sure you're safe!"

"Whoa, what a small world." Carol said as it took Prism back a little. She was quick to notice the look on her face, "O-Oh it's nothing!" Carol said, "You'll be coming too right?"

"I'll be right behind you-" Prism said, "-Promise!" She soon interlocked her fingers and got on one knee; her back had been to the wall, "Come on now-There's not much time!"

Carol nodded and quickly stepped on Prism's hand before she lifted her with ease; She struggled to climb through though Prism had been quick to assist her. "Go on now!" Prism said, "I'll be right behind you!"

Carol turned over to Prism as she gave her a smile, "Thank you Primrose. I'm thankful you're one of the good ones."

Prism had smiled before she did something she didn't expect; she took a deep breath before she spoke, "... Prism. My real name is Prism."

"... Prism…" Carol repeated before she smiled, "... What a beautiful name."

"... Thank you." Prism said, "But-Promise you won't tell anyone, okay?"

Carol nodded as she gave her a wink, "I won't say a word."

With that, Carol went inside the vent as Prism could hear Yami shout, "BRING IT ON!" She soon heard the sounds of slashing just on the other side.

"It sounds like he's fighting outside." Prism thought before she started to cough. She turned to see a thick layer of smoke had already started to leak in as it seemed to have surrounded the room. "The fires have already spreaded here!" She thought, "Thank goodness I got Carol to move just in time. I better meet Yami and fast!"

Just as Prism went to jump for the vent when she was sure Carol had gotten through safely-

"WOULD YOU CARE… FOR A SEAT…?"

A raspy voice soon spoke, causing Prism to freeze and the Spirits to vanish or retreat in the comfort of her hood.

She slowly turned to see what looked to be a disfigured creature that had a total of twelve hands and feet; it appeared to be walking upside down on the floor using the said hands while the feet looked to be on its back. Though the creature only had two sockets one had been a black void while the other had five pure white eyes. It's entire body on the other hand… Prism would only faint at the sound of its description.

It's head had stretched towards Prism until she could feel it breathing just over her shoulder.

"WOULD YOU CARE…" It repeated, "...FOR… A SEAT…?"

"A-A Tainted?!" She thought as she resisted the urge to speak to it, while it repeated, "Was it lingering here in this building?! Did a Mage die in this very spot?!" She gulped, "N-No… If it was… It would've taken the others from before. With everything that's happening-It must've been attracted to the chaos."

She had been forced to turn around when the Tainted urged her to, but she immediately placed her hands over her mouth, "Don't answer any of its questions!"

The Tainted came closer until it had been face to face with her as it kept repeating the same thing.

"If I answer it-It'll take me! If I attack it with the magic I have stored-It'll only make it worse! And what's worse-It'll go after Yami!"

She soon shoved the creature away before she made a break for it. "I have to run!" She thought urgently as she didn't look back, "I have to find another way out!" The smoke only made her vision worse, not to mention her coughing had started to get worse as the flames started to burn through the wood that held some of the house together.

"I can't do anything to fight it!" She thought, "Brenin, Saorise and Liam! They were the only ones who could! If only I could get my hands on salt or Rosemary!"

"WOULD YOU CARE FOR A SEAT!?" The Tainted shouted as it started to charge at Prism aggressively before she knew what was happening. Just as it had been within reach, the fires had reached the rooftop, causing the beams to weaken and fall on top of them.

Prism managed to evade it… But not before a wood shrapnel from the beam broke in half-Pierced her ankle.

The sound of Prism's scream had been clear in Yami's ears as he had taken out a couple of corpses that had been coming in his direction. When he turned to the sound of her voice he saw the building had already been lit by flames.

"KID!" Yami exclaimed before he dodged a corpse as it tried to grab him. "Tch! Damn it! HANG ON!"

He began to slice his way through, but more of them seemed to have appeared as a few even managed to grab ahold of him.

"LET GO!" Yami shouted, as he kicked off a corpse, "QUIT GRABBING ME DEADBRAINS!"

The corpses finally managed to knock him over as they were able to knock away his sword. They started to pin him as Yami fought against their grip.

"Damn it!" Yami said as his fist started to emit a purple aura, as more corpses started to pile on top of him, "You're all in my way! I don't have time for any of you!"

The corpses had been ready to eat him alive even after he readied to hit them away. Despite them grabbing his arm he still got himself ready. Until-

"JINX MAGIC: CRACKBACK SLASH!"

A familiar curve-like purple blade soon sliced half of the corpses; a familiar young man landed on his feet nearby before the hook sword glowed purple.

"Jinx Magic: Cracked Horseshoe!"

The blade extended as it curved slightly before he took a swing taking care of the other half. Karasu had taken a moment to catch his breath as despite his flushed face, he looked a bit beat up.

"You okay, Cap?" He asked as helped him up.

"I should be asking you that." Yami told him.

"We got bigger things to worry about, you know?" Karasu said, as he coughed a little, "Like the corpses that almost tried to eat you."

Yami gave him a look as he picked up his sword before telling him, "I don't know what you mean."

"KARASU!"

They looked over as they noticed Erin, Blaise, Avalon, Dylan, and Sachiko ran towards them, as they looked a little beat up themselves.

"What the hell, you stole my thunder!" Blaise said.

"You're complaining about that?" He asked as he had been staggering a little.

"Damn it Blaise!" Erin and Dylan said.

"What? I just wanted to show off this new spell I've been working on!" Blaise argued.

"Is that seriously the time for that?!" Avalon said.

"There's always a time to show off!" Blaise said.

"Oh my god.." Erin groaned.

"So you all ended up together huh?" Yami said, before he told Karasu, "We're getting back to that by the way."

Karasu flinched a little, "Getting back to what…?"

Yami replied as he casually stabbed a corpse in the head, "you know what i mean Mr Playboy."

"Playboy?" Sachiko asked.

Karasu's eye twitched before he immediately shook it off as a thought came over him, "Please tell me Prism is with you!"

It soon hit Yami as he replied, "Crap! She's in that building right now!"

"What?!" Karasu exclaimed before he turned to the building, "Why didn't you say that in the first place?!" He soon ran towards the building though they had been taken back when debris had fallen from a tower. "NO, NO, NO!" Karasu shouted, "DAMN IT! GODDAMN IT!"

"Don't worry, I got it!" Erin said, as she spun her staff, "Owl Magic: Night Hunter!"

A familiar owl formed from her staff, before it started to remove the flaming debris. "Come on!" She said, as she headed forward, "Let's save your short girlfriend!"

"Right." Karasu said before he realized what she said, "WAIT, ERIN! SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!"

"Could've fooled me crow boy!" She said.

"DAMN IT ERIN!" Karasu yelled as he ran to her.

Yami only shook his head as he said before he followed suit, "Yep, definitely the second pants."

Prism didn't stay unconscious for long as the Spirits around her helped her to open her eyes; the smoke had gotten thicker to the point where her eyes began to water and the coughs became more excessive. She found some of the debris and felt the building seemingly hotter.

"A-Ana-Latta as me…!" Prism exclaimed as she coughed profusely, as she tried to move but found it to be difficult as she had soon realized most of the debris had been on top of her. Even as her arms glowed she had extreme difficulty doing so as she groaned in pain as she felt her arms sting intensively.

"N-No! No, no!" Prism exclaimed, "I-I can't move! I can't move!"

She could hear the sound of the Tainted moving within the debris. In front of her she saw the Tainted stand itself back up as the debris slipped through its body. She could hear the sounds of bones cracking as it managed to put itself back together with ease.

"WHERE-WHERE ARE YOU?" It groaned, "WOULD YOU-LIKE A SEAT?"

Prism felt her breath shorten as she covered her mouth. She could feel the Tainted had been over her as it started to look around. "WOULD YOU-LIKE A SEAT?"

"I-I need to get out!" She thought, "I have to get out! But-I can't move! Even with Aurora's strength-I can't move them! What should I do?! What do I do!?"

"KID!"

"TATER-TOT!"

"PRISM-NEECHAN!"

Prism flinched as she heard Yami, Karasu, and Sachiko's voices outside. The Tainted looked to the door as it had been drawn as it started to go towards the sounds of their voices as they continued to call her name.

"No!" She exclaimed in her thoughts as she tried desperately to crawl out, "No! Don't! Let them be!"

She tried desperately to move again and again, but the sound of creaking could only cause her to freeze.

"No! Stop!" She thought as she didn't seem to realize what was happening to her. Not only had her eye turned to white as the veins in her arms started to glow; but she didn't seem to have noticed, something had been moving underneath the back of her shirt.

At that moment, all she could see was an image of red, as her scars started to burn. Her makeshift eyepatch started to become stained with red as she started to growl.

Several images passed her by as they only seemed to have fueled her anger-One in particular had been an image of a familiar creature with eyes of white… Just like her very own.

"LEAVE-THEM-ALONE!" She suddenly shouted as it drew the Tainted's attention.

It was then, Prism felt a shot of pain go through her body as her heartbeat accelerated. The fabric of her shirt and vest began to tear as a hump seemed to have grown on her back. Just as Yami broke the door open, Prism let out a horrific shriek as the debris that had been on top of her burst away, along with a fountain of blood.

Before their very eyes, they saw stained with blood a pair of silver wings that were wide and sleek as silver scales looked to shine in the light of the fire. The edges of the wings looked like it had almost been that of metal as it had been sharp as Yami's own blade.

While Yami had a look of shock and Karasu and Sachiko had a look of awe-The others had a look of disbelief.

"Holy… Shit…" Dylan said.

"Is that-The tomboy girl?" Erin said.

"Did she just-Grow wings?" Blaise said shocked.

The Tainted let out a shriek as it attacked with a form of a magic blast, fired from its mouth. With a growl Prism quickly covered herself with her wings despite the fact she had been stained with her own blood. The magic blast hit the scales of her wings but much to their own shock, she swung her wings as it flew back towards the creature.

"She threw it back!?" Avalon said in shock.

The blast hit the Tainted, but it didn't seem to have done anything as it only seemed to have grown bigger.

"WOULD-YOU LIKE A SEAT?"

Prism soon sniffed the air until she spotted something in the debris. As the Tainted charged at her, she flapped her left wing, getting her off the ground momentarily before thrusting her hand into the pile of rocks. It went to attack her but Prism broke what she had picked, allowing it to cover her hand.

"What is she doing?!" Sachiko said.

The Tainted roared as it had prepared to eat her. Though Prism turned around fast and with a roar, she thrusted her fist into the head of the creature as it stopped in its tracks; some of the substance that had been on her end had become clear as the smoke from the fires seemed to have carried the scent.

"Rosemary oil?" Erin said, shocked.

Finally the Tainted stopped moving as it had vanished into vapor. Prism caught her breath as her eyes shifted back to her original color as her hand now had fresh cuts. The group looked stunned, but Shiromori soon started to hiss, particularly at Karasu.

He was confused at first, but then realized-Shiromori had been directing her wings.

"Is it my imagination-" Karasu soon said, "-Or do those wings look crooked?"

Yami soon noticed the wings on Prism's back as his eyes widened in realization. Prism soon collapsed as she once more let out a shriek, almost as if the pain had finally gotten to her; the Spirits started to tend to her, as they focused on the pain on her back. Yami acted fast before he rushed in just as the fires became more aggressive.

"Yami!" Sachiko exclaimed with worry.

"Cap!" Karasu yelled.

Yami managed to get where Prism had been before she hit the floor and picked her up with ease. "GET OUT NOW!" He shouted to the group. They had been quick to comply as they saw the building had started to collapse. Yami quickly rushed out with Prism in his arms as the building finally broke apart when the fires weakened it.

The group quickly got out of the open before Yami soon set Prism on the ground as she had been hugging herself while she had been whimpering from the pain.

"Kid-what the hell did you do?" Yami said as he shook her a little, "Did you force those wings to come out?!"

Prism only whimpered as her body shook; the blood from where her wings had sprouted started to seep down her back and onto the floor as she kept what remained of her shirt covered so as not to expose herself. She couldn't find herself answering as she only continued to whimper as some of the Spirits lost their color.

Though that was enough to answer Yami's question.

"What were you thinking?! You don't know what that's going to do!" He said as he took her shoulders, "You're a Princess yeah, and you have a responsibility to your old man, but you're also my squadmate! You think I'll let you go off and throw your life away like it's-"

Prism finally picked up her head as Yami had been taken back; Despite the tears in her eyes and how worn out she looked, she had only a relieved smile on her face.

"T-Thank goodness…" She said as she sniffled, "... You… Didn't disappear… I or rather we got rid of it in time… You're… All still here… Tha-Thank goodness…"

Yami had been a bit taken back yet he still kept his hands on her shoulder. Karasu soon kneeled to her as he had been at eye level, "Of course we're still here Tater Tot."

Prism hiccuped from her tears yet still held her smile, "... I… Don't know what I would do… If I lost one of you…"

Yami's look softened slightly before he sighed, "God damn it, look what happened. Now I'M the worrywart." He soon pulled her in, giving her another hug. He told her as he gave her a pat on the head, "You really are something else, Lizard Girl."

Prism could only laugh softly until she returned the hug as best as she could.

"So then-" Yami soon said, "-Did you get what you were feeling out of your system?"

Prism weakly nodded her head in reply.

"Then you can put your wings away-" He said, "-It'll be easier to carry you at least."

"I-" She started to say as she groaned a little, "-I would but-I don't know how…" She tightened her grip on him slightly, "... It still kind of hurts."

She felt Yami give her a light smack on the head as he broke the hug up. "Did you just forget what I showed you after that little show you pulled?" He said, "This is no different then your little arm problem or your panic attacks."

Prism went to say something until she flinched from the loud sounds again as some of the Spirits shifted into yellow. She felt his hands cover her ears.

"Don't focus on the noise." He told her, "Just focus on your heartbeat. Steady like a drum-Remember?"

Prism started to listen to her heartbeat as she closed her eyes. She groaned as the wings started to sink into her back, until they were no longer in view; the sound of cracking couldn't help but make some of the group cringe a little at the sound alone. Despite the fact her wings had sunken into her back she now had a new set of open wounds.

"S-Sorry." Prism said, "I just recovered, and I ended up getting new wounds."

"Believe you me, I'll be sure to give you an earful later-" Yami said before he picked her up again, as he had been holding her bridal style, not minding at all that his hands had now been stained, "-For now, let's find a mage that can seal them up, and look after Crow Boy here."

"Is it weird how I hate that name is growing on me?" Karasu said as he coughed.

Erin and Blaise gave a snicker as Karasu gave them a look as they immediately ceased their laughter; Dylan only rolled her eyes.

"Let's head to the Magic Knight Headquarters." Yami told them, "We'll be safe there for the time being."

"... What about getting to the castle?" Sachiko asked.

"With the way the Lizard Girl is-" Yami said gesturing to Prism as her breathing became labored, "-She won't make it even if we flew. Now let's go."

With that said, Yami lead the group as they quickly followed behind; more of the corpses seemed to have appeared as they began to wander through the streets as some even followed the trail of blood.
