Ticket here, and welcome back to "Survivor: Fight for Fiji!" After a messy Tribal Council, this chapter shows you the aftermath of last night, like Kano's reaction and what's next for him and Kabal. Also, some comments last night hurt someone's feelings, so we'll see how a couple players deal with those.
Plus, I have an update on Season 4: Casting is halfway done, and I'm working on which tribes they'll go on as we speak. Casting is of course still underway, and with sixteen I'm feeling confident I'll be able to balance out edits and scenes more. Smaller casts are easier to work with to be honest.
With that being said, enjoy!
Players: Little Mac, Sonic, Gordon, Luigi, Blu, Matt, Li Mei, Bandana Dee, Kano, and Kabal
Jury: Tremor
10 are left, who will be voted out and sent to the jury next?

Night 23
Little Mac, Sonic, Gordon, Luigi, Blu, Matt, Li Mei, Bandana Dee, Kano, and Kabal
The nine merged arrive back to camp, and lean their torches on the tree. They're greeted by the guy who played his Tribal Ticket last night: Kano.
"So Tremor's out, ey?" The hedgehog confirms it. "Unlike your guy over there," he points to Kabal, "Tremor's not a talker. Made the split really easy."
"You're quite the bragger."
"I'm not bragging. I'm just telling the truth."
"Regardless, it was a smart move splitting." A compliment from Kano? What? "Wonder how next time will go."
Kano: I escaped with my bare $$ thanks to the ticket. It's gone now so I guess I have to play nice with these people. The more protection we have the better because it's just me and Kabal. Mac and Mei could have a cushy spot with us, but they turned it down! If the four of us got together we could have joined a trio, picked them off, and have no problems but they didn't take it…the nuts on those two. They'll just be four and five either way.
…
Kano: I'll be bitter if i f*ckin feel like it.
He and his only ally at this point in Kabal split off from everyone to discuss what just happened. One was just left out, and who better than the guy who barely survived to explain the vote.
"I thought I was a goner until that fourth Tremor vote came up. He did not seem thrilled with their choice, but he said he'd eat like a god so he'll be fine." Kabal explains. They should have gone for me since I almost won immunity, but their plans were messed up when you used the ticket."
"I'll mess 'em up again. An idol will be a nice boost for us."
"They can still split the votes on us. Unless…I win immunity."
This could be a smart play if done right. "Oh yeah..that's a good idea. If we don't score, then we'll need to put the two sides against each other. There's a crack somewhere." Kano notes, and his ally sees it too. "Sonic and Gordon."
"If we can keep them here, they'll eat eachother. We just gotta find out how to start that war, and keep them alive." Kano says, plotting how to make it work. "It'd help if we're protected. If we aren't this doesn't work." Kabal points out.
"We'll MAKE it work out."
Kabal: There's only one way out: protection. If one of us gets the idol, it's a start. If we add immunity? It's a lock and they'll have no choice but to go for each other. We can pick a side, or take the nuclear option and force a rock draw. We don't care. Anyone we thought we trusted, doesn't trust us, so the nuclear option is actually appealing.

Day 24
Little Mac, Sonic, Gordon, Luigi, Blu, Matt, Li Mei, Bandana Dee, Kano, and Kabal
For most people, it was a pleasant morning. Some had no gripes with anybody, while others are feeling comfortable. So, an average breather day on Survivor.
The same can't be said for Luigi, who's slumped on the tribes new hammock. He's very much NOT relaxing, because frustration was taking over after last night. He felt Kano's wrath at Tribal, and given how people react, the wrath's toxic.
Bandana Dee spots him, and waddles over. He felt the same way back at Toriel's elimination, so he has experience with this.
"Luigi…"
"..huh?"
"Did Kano hurt your feelings?"
What a question to pop. Luigi gives his answer: "didn't feel good." Ahhh, that makes more sense. "Imagine getting out of someone's shadow just to get told you're in someone else's." Luigi doesn't hate his brother, but Mario's usually given more credit in their history together. His time on the island's affecting his emotions.
"Nobody's in anyones shadow, we're just being smart about it." The waddle dee says, but the Italian shakes his head. "I know. But I've had enough shadow talk, I hear enough of it at is. Some people always tell me that Mario's better, and that I need to break out, but it's insulting to me! I already have…I just got done saving the world from a ghost apocalypse with a vacuum cleaner, but people still say I'm not on my brother's level." he explains. "I'm so-a sick of hearing it.."
"This is all because of a sibling rivalry?"
"There's no rivalry. I'll support my brother till the end! He's supported me my whole life. It's just that…everytime someone brings up the 'better brother' thing, it's toxic. I don't need to think about how he gets more, I want to think about supporting him." Luigi clears up.
"Kano's whole thing is getting in your head. I know his words hurt, I've been out of shape about it, but that can't stop us." The waddle dee responds. "It's like what Matt told me: He wants you to be upset, we can't give him what he wants." That's good advice.
The Italian just lets out a yawn. "Maybe I need to sleep it off. I'll forget tomorrow…" the waddle dee looks at the sky. "It's twelve in the afternoon."
"Ok, I'll nap it off."
Bandana Dee: I know everyone's all aboard the Dragon hate train, but..I don't think Kano can win. He's not getting my vote, Luigi's vote, Blu's vote, that's three already. What's he trying to do acting like this? Is he just…pure evil? It could be..nobody who attacks Dreamland explains why they did it.
The waddle dee takes Luigi's rant to Gordon, and it's to no surprise of the chef Kano ticked someone off.
"Kano's a threat because you can't trust him, not because of the jury. He can't win a jury vote." Harsh but blunt from the chef. "There's bigger fish in the sea. After we cut another Dragon, the group's no longer a threat."
"I..think I know who you have in mind."
"Sonic's on borrowed time. You don't target the FaThree and get away with it." The vengeance of Gordon Ramsay may be felt.
"At least we have a plan!" The waddle dee says, making a positive from a negative situation.
Gordon: I know FaThree's corny, but you come out here to lose any and all sanity, so are you f*cking shocked? Besides that's not a big deal compared to the storm we're driving in. If Kano and Kabal can get themselves off the block, it's going to throw the calm out of the storm, to replace it with chaos. It doesn't shock me that they'd have a backup plan, anyone on the bottom will do anything for the win.
The FaThree aren't the only ones planning ahead. The hedgehog, in his quick glory, pulls Matt and Blu aside specifically. What's up his sleeve?
"Y'know, since Mac and Mei aren't with us in the long run, let's make this the majority in the majority." Sonic says, setting his plot into motion.
"So we're leaving Fatu out again?" The Yoshi asks, and the hedgehog confirms that. The Mii has a different opinion. "Let's wait to target Fatu next round. It's too early to take that shot again." he responds. But, Sonic isn't exactly known to be a genius.
"Just sayin', if the Dragons just so happen to be safe…we don't have a choice. They could come for us so we might as well strike back." The hedgehog pushes, but the Mii pushes back. "It'd be too convenient for both of them to be safe. I don't see it happening, life's not a movie."
"I mean….we've had two blindsides already, all thanks to the idols. They could just pull one out of the blue and we're back to where we started." The hedgehog's on the lookout for idols, especially after Mac betrayed him. He doesn't know that part though.
"I'll be vigilant, but don't jump the gun. If Mac and Mei know what situation they're in, they'll stick with us." Matt responds. "They'd be going from the bottom of a group with people they know, to the bottom of ANOTHER group with people they just met."
"It's not the 2000s anymore. Unfortunately." The hedgehog says, but Blu steps in once again. "I don't care what year it is…if we can just get rid of another Dragon, I'll live wherever you guys want."
"So take out a dragon tonight, make our move at nine, got it." The hedgehog says. To them, he's all for waiting one more round. He's actually antsy about it, not a shocker given how he's taken on a fast-paced style just a few votes earlier.
Sonic: In the words of. : "these h*es ain't loyal." I don't know if Mac had anything to do about Monty's blindside, but I'm not ruling out anything. We would look like the biggest idiots in the history of idiots if we just let them flip on us! Matt's all about taking our time, and planning things out, but we can always just plan ourselves into a corner! And I love you Matt, but you fumbled it by switching names.
He points to himself.
Sonic: I did too, but that's because I botched a decoy vote. If I talked to Blu first, I could have gotten away with a blindside, but..come on. I'm not an "OpTiMaL" hedgehog, I shoot for the stars and hope I can catch them!
Alright so the Roku vs. Fatu dynamic is slowly making its return, with Sonic and Gordon preparing to attack if they have to. Also, what's left of the Black Dragon have a very specific plan in mind: Kano needs an idol, and Kabal needs immunity. However, they have to get it right because its eight against two if they can't get it together. There's also strong players still in the game like Sonic, Matt, Mac, and Mei, so the immunity part will be difficult.
Next chapter (9B) will feature camp life, and a little bit of strategy. So we're looking at another shorter chapter. 9C will be about or a little over 5,000 words, and will feature the immunity challenge, scrambling, and a Tribal Council that may or may not shake up the game!
Have a good one ladies and gentlemen, Ticket out.
