AN: As a reader rightfully pointed out, the Twins from Sebulba are blue Twi'lek masseuses, not green Twi'lek mechanics. Too bad, this story is too far along to change it, so in this Universe they are green.

I glared at the green house-elf: "Yoda? Your way, very wrong it is. Eyes you have, looking your are not. Ears you have, listening, you do not. Goodbye, I say."

I left the Jedi Council with Padme, she softly said: "I have a feeling you don't like Master Yoda. Come, the Captain has the ship ready to depart."

10 Babysitting.

Master Qui-Gon followed us outside, where we met Master Vos and his Padawan Aayla Secura.

Master Qui-Gon stopped us: "Queen Amidala, A lot of what young Anakin declared just now is being meditated by me, Master Vos, and Master Undull. Most of it made sense to us, and we are searching for ways to rectify our teaching. We are a minority, but given time we can change."

Padme answered: "In a given time, Master Jinn, on the condition that you have that long. The future that Ani foresaw for the Jedi, you are coming up short of time."

I decided to help them on the way: "Masters, imagine every intelligent being has a cauldron filled with water, representing the Force. Force-sensitive children have bigger cauldrons, others very small ones. Now, doing nothing with the Force is just setting the cauldron of water outside in the shade, where the water slowly evaporates."

I held my hand up to stop them from interrupting: "A force-sensitive child can use the Force without being taught, that is like setting the cauldron on a small fire where the water is getting heated up, the steam representing the active Force. Then the Jedi happens, the child's cauldron is taken to a furnace and a lid is put on top of it, sealing it off completely. Then Master Jinn, you are heating the cauldron up, only allowing the steam to leave the cauldron through a small valve, but with greater power."

I faced them and asked: "What do you do with the cauldrons that can't produce enough power through their valve? And what happens to the cauldrons that are heated beyond their capacity to release the pressure? Let me tell you, the first kind of cauldrons are being discarded to the rubbish planet, the other kind of cauldron explodes and becomes a Sith."

I shrugged: "You must have encountered situations where your own valves were stretched to the limits, as I can tell Padawan Secura recently reached her breaking point. The fault of the Jedi is to seal the cauldrons and let the children develop their valves on their own. My cauldron isn't sealed off, and I trained myself to heat up my cauldron and use the steam as I see fit. As long there is Force in this Galaxy, my cauldron will always be full."

I did not use my first idea to use as a comparison, Padme would not like it if I used a man and his harem to explain the Force, although it would give those dried-up monks a stroke if I did. It would seal Padme's knickers though, we can't let that happen, I have too much fun with what is in it.

I paused to let the principles from water to steam get processed by the Jedi, and waited for the usual: "We are going to meditate on it" answer.

Master Vos took a deep breath and said: "We already meditated for months, and have to admit your point of view has merits. No, the reason why we wanted to talk to you both is to ask if you can take Padawan Secura with you. She is in an identity crisis, and I feel you can guide her. She told me the lessons of Ladies Aola and Shiri helped to keep her sanity, even when she lost her identity, she explained it as a racial threat."

Padme said before I could respond: "We gladly take her in. Ladies Aola and Shiri spoke fondly about Ms. Secura and will be happy to shelter her. Especially now that we are returning to their home planet."

I sighed and caved in: "She can come along, in case she misbehaves, I still have the dog basket with her name on it."

Padme bumped her shoulder against mine: "Behave Ani, that was a long time ago. Master Vos, tell her we leave in a half hour."

We departed to Ryloth with an extra blue Twi'lek, who is carrying a lot of emotional luggage. Aola and Shiri got in Overprotective-Older-Sister-Mode and took Aayla to the room next to theirs. The trip to Ryloth only took a few hours, once in orbit, Padme contacted the Twi'lek Clan Council and announced her arrival, while confirming the scheduled meeting for tomorrow.

Aayla stayed on the ship, she recently had some bad experiences with her uncle and preferred to stay on board. To be honest, granting a planet to Ryloth is a questionable decision. The Clan Councils consist of four Clan heads, each a bigger criminal than the other, but then again, so are most of the leaders of the planets of the Republic and the Trade Federation. On the other hand, we have access to a shitload of new planets, and this is me doing a favor for my Twins.

I visited the In-Laws with Aola and Shiri. Mum came along for moral support. I must say, as beautiful the female Twi'lek is, the males are butt ugly! Chom, my Dad-in-law, is a middle-aged pale green one, while Ann, my Mum-in-law, is a dark green Milf. It made the offspring normally green. Bro-in-law Graxol, butt-ugly, is the eldest, while sis-in-law Tann is my age or a year older and looking fine. When the introductions were over, I faced four curious faces.

Dad-in-law spoke up: "Judging by how you arrived and your clothes, you both are free?"

Shiri, after the greetings were done, smiled and answered: "Yes, Father, Anakin freed us and removed our slave chips, he made us co-owners of a shipyard and a transport company. Queen Amidala and her handmaidens are owners too. We are quite wealthy."

Ann said: "We saw the news Shiri, you and Aola are the talk of the Clan, even of Ryloth. You gave hope to all that are sold off as slaves, that there is a chance to improve, even when you are sold into slavery."

Aola shook her head: "That is false hope, Mother. A one-on-a-million chance? Is that giving hope?"

Shiri lightened the mood: "Enough of the depressing stuff, we are not here to discuss the fate of Ryloth, we do that tomorrow. We brought presents along."

Graxol, the ugly brother, asked: "You made us curious, sis, does it fit in that bag you are holding on? Although we do not really need presents, your fame raised our position in the clan. I finished pilot training, and Tann entered Engineering school last year. All thanks to the both of you."

Tann smiled and said: "All the professors are sucking up at me and are begging for a chance to examine your Hyperdrive and shields"

Aola hugged her little sister: "Those secrets are Ani's, Tan. No, we came to present you an offer, a multiple choice offer actually. First is to move to Naboo with us, if you choose to stay here, we can give you a large amount of Pegats, or, now that Graxol is a pilot, he can have a heavy cargo ship, one of our models, he can start his own company. You, Tann, you can apprentice under Ani and us, for Engineering, Design, or Research and Development."

Mum commented: "We are having a meeting with the Twi'lek Clan Council tomorrow, depending on their answer we leave tomorrow or the day after. Here, here is a holo projection of the offers Aola and Shiri have for you. Start it up and we give detailed information"

We arrived at the Clan Council in full gear, Padme is impressive, surrounded by her Handmaidens and guards, I tagged along with Aola and Shiri, we brought some nasty battle droids with us as guards.

After the introductions, Padme took the initiative: "Clan elders, we, Anakin Skywalker and the Palace Engineering Corps of Naboo came up with new technology, developed by my companion Anakin Skywalker. With this new technology, we can track old Hyperspace lanes and sometimes even connect a new planet to that lane. As you might as well learn from the five planets we discovered close to Naboo."

That got the greedy bastards' attention, Padme continued: "Recently we discovered an abandoned Hyperspace lane, three days traveling from here. Besides some mined-out planets, we discovered a resources rich planet and connected it to that lane. The problem is that it is not suited for humans or Gungans, it is a desert planet."

Are those guys drooling? Yep, they are. Padme said: "My companion is bonded with a twin from Clan Fenn, on their commendation we want to offer this new planet, which we named Fennot, to the people of Ryloth."

Ro Fenn, the Clan leader of Clan Fenn stood up and asked: "You are giving this planet to me? I gladly accept, thank you."

Padme held her hand up: "No, we are offering this planet to the people of Ryloth, not to the Twi'lek Clan Council and certainly not to individual Clan Leaders. This is a gift from Lady Aola Fenn and Lady Shiri Fenn to honor their family and to aid their race."

I commented: "We involved the Twi'lek Clan Council because you have the power and authority to guide the emigration without conflicts. But Clan Elders, do not presume we are idiots or that are ignorant of your actions. We fully know your connections with the slave traders and Huts. We know what you, Pol Secura, tried to do with your niece, and you, Ro Fenn, committing the crimes and framing your own son. We want to work with the Clan Council, but we don't need to work with you."

Ro Fenn sat back down, raging inside, but with the prospect of a new planet, he was willing to swallow his pride. So was Pol Secura, even when he have to grovel in the dirt, he knows that he will profit from this deal.

Toll Sivron saw the opportunities for Ryloth and him but suspected a trap. He asked: "What are your demands, Queen Amidala? There is no way that you are offering a planet with no strings attached, there must be a hidden agenda in this too good to be a true gift."

Shiri stepped forwards: "Reduce the slave trades for one, we know and accept they are necessary. There is the fact that you are working in league with the worst slavers of this Galaxy to fill your own pockets. Yes, we have been monitoring the traffic around Ryloth for almost two years, and know of them. Tomorrow we release our offer to the people of Ryloth. I hope, Clan Leaders, that you put your personal interest aside and work for the benefit of all our people."

Aola added: "Here is the data chip with the information and location of the planet. The data of the planet is going to be released for a while and work for the benefit of all Twi'lek."

Toll Sivron stared at both my girls, and sagged his Lekku: "We will work for the benefit of all Twi'lek, you have my word, we don't have a choice to do otherwise. As you just told us, we are being monitored."

Padme Stood up: "We are only protecting our interests, as you have noticed we did not interfere these last two years. However, we are monitoring Fennot, any shady business or abuse of Twi'leks on Fennot will have consequences. We will leave you to study the data chip. Goodbye, Clan Leaders we leave tomorrow evening."

The next day, the in-laws paid a visit to our ship, Graxon was drooling when he was at the end of the tour of the ship, we lost Tan somewhere in the engine room with Shiri. After examining the documentation of Naboo last night, the parents agreed to move to Naboo, understanding the security risks they presented by being exposed to Ryloth.

Padme smiled: "You were never in any danger, we stationed a squadron of Gundams over Ryloth and posted a guard on the planet to keep an eye on you, and to interfere when you were in any danger."

Chom, the ugly dad, chuckled: "That was not necessary, when the news got out of Shiri and Aola, the clan posted guards around us too. Ro Fenn may be a bastard, but he is not a fool."

Ann nodded at that: "He sure isn't, I bet he knew what you offered the moment you spoke the offer to us."

Aola laughed: "No Mother, no matter how sophisticated his listening devices are, nobody can listen in on our conversation. Ani saw to that. Come, we are going to pack everything you want to bring along, Ani? Can you take us there with some trunks and a few droids to help with the heavy stuff?"

You know, the son-in-law-to-be has to make a good impression with the in-laws, a wrong move or comment has and will cause family feuds. Comments like: "So this is how you are going to look like in twenty-five years." will only work if the Mum is a Milf. Otherwise, you can look for another bride.

NEVER tell the wife her sister is a sexy piece of ass, trust me, it will bite you in the ass someday. Been there, done that, and got to suffer for it until the divorce, it got worse when I married the sister… yep, family feuds are a bitch. I got another divorce when I offered a threesome to mend some fences.

As I said, first impressions are important, You bring flowers and a bottle of wine? You are fucked when the parents are Muslims and the mother is allergic to pollen. That wasn't me by the way, a mate of mine got the experience.

Me? I brought flowers, it was even the Mother's birthday, you know, you give them the works, congratulations, a few kisses on the cheek… I should have known better when I saw the Mum, No bloody Milf at ALL! I should have done a runner that day… sad times.

Where was I? Ah, self-pity… no... moving the in-laws next door… Aaaah! Bad idea! Never live within walking distance of your in-laws! Especially if you can't stand them, although, exceptions can be made when the Mum is a Milf or the sisters are sexy pieces of ass.

I impressed the in-laws with my moves, I flamed Milf An, and sexy ass Tan home with the trunks, and apparated the males, just so I could watch them puke their guts out. Fun memories.

Xxxxx

We left Ryloth that evening, the in-laws packed their belongings, said their goodbyes, and boarded the ship. After dinner, we sat together in the communal room the in-laws moved to their rooms, and the guards to their quarters.

I said: "Aayla, it is time to get in tune with your emotions, we know it will take years to get it right, in fact, you will never get it right, it is a balance we seek. You experienced horrible things, done horrible things out of your control. You can not lock these away and forget about them, it will fester in your mind until you break."

Aayla laughed bitterly: "How in the Force's sake am I going to do that? They blocked my memories and let me do, like you said, horrible things. I even fought my Master."

I shrugged: "I know a spell that can do the same trick, I can let you do anything I want. For example, kill your entire clan, jump from a cliff, fly your ship into a sun, I can even order you to do it smiling. But tell me, if you are doing one of those things, is it your fault? Is it you doing it?"

I softly continued: "People that experienced such things have to live with it for the rest of their lives, the pain stays, Aayla, accept that it is a part of your being, learn from it, but don't let it consume you."

I broke the somber mood with the next phrase: "No what I wanted to ask you is to scan us with your Force sense and tell us what emotions we have at the moment. Start with my Mother."

Aayla asked: "You want me to sense the emotions from all the ones present here?"

I nodded: "Yes, the surface emotions, not the deep hidden hurts and pains, or the joys from good memories."

Aayla closed her eyes, after a minute she said: "Shmi, is feeling compassion and understanding, Queen Amidala feels compassion and curiosity, Anakin… I can't sense any emotion, Aola and Shiri sadness and understanding, Yané… it is changing from pity to curiosity."

Aayla opened her eyes and said: "The emotions change with every comment I make, they never stay the same. Anakin, why did you suppress your emotion? Isn't this what you told me the fault of the Jedi is?"

I answered: "No, I did not suppress my emotions, I just hid them from detection, that is what I am going to teach you, it is called Occlumency, it basically organizes your memories in compartments and protects you from outside influences. A Master can create a mind palace, with that he can recollect every memory he has stored, prevent mind control, and master your emotions. Some basics are already covered by the Jedi, like meditation."

Well excuse me for not being a shrink, what the fuck do I know how to deal with that girl! Telling those monks what is wrong with their order doesn't mean that I know how to fix it! So I am winging it, occlumency can't hurt. If nothing helps, then I'll do a good shag as a last resort, I'll tell her it is part of the cure. If she gives me a slap in my face then she is cured.

Graxon lost it when we arrived at Naboo the next day at lunch, something that wasn't possible at all!

He shouted at me: "This speed is not possible! This is more than ten times faster than the fastest Hyperdrive!… This speed will change the balance of power."

Padme nodded: "Ani, he is right, but now our Jedi Guest knows it too."

Aayla shrugged: "I sensed it when we arrived at Ryloth that we arrived way too soon. I have yet to report it, and will only do so with your permission."

I said: "Let's keep it a secret for a bit longer, we are only at the start of our expansion, the new pilot trainees need a year and some experience, the new ships are just getting into production, all in all, we are vulnerable right now."

I looked at Graxon: "There is a heavy cargo ship with your name on it if you want, but you can only use it to ship immigrants and cargo to our five planets. If you want to go solo, then you get one with a normal Hyperdrive. You heard it, at least one year before the secret can go public. You have to understand, this secret affects the people of the whole alliance, their safety gets priority."

It took a while to sink in, then Graxon asked: "You are giving me a heavy Cargo ship? A fast one? Why?"

I sighed: "That is a hard-to-answer question, and yet a simple one. We, that is Queen Padme and her handmaidens, your sisters, Mother, and me, own two shipyards, a transport company with plenty of ships, and a lot, a big very lot of Credits and Pegats. If we don't spread our wealth among our in-laws, that will create jealousy and resentment. The families of the other girls already got a lot from us."

I am just spouting nonsense, I never had enough for myself in my old life, and I got tossed out of Gendry in Westeros before he created his Empire. In this I am going to follow Padme and the girls, they are trained to manage the planet. I don't even know what the girls gave to their relatives and don't have the time and energy to care about it.

The amount of Phrik in my backpack is enough to buy a planet, a planet I don't need because I can claim thousands! The trick is to survive the clash in the next months.

We settled the Mum and Dad in-laws in Theed, close to the palace in a big mansion, a big pile of Credits in their bank accounts, and a lot of Twi'lek servants. I dumped Graxon at the big shipyard to oversee the construction of his ship, which leaves me with Tann, she is following me like Hermione Granger is after the man with the key to the library, or Ron Weasley is after food… I know, my equations need work.

I lost Padme at the Palace with her girls to catch up with their work, Mum returned home with Aayla, I started her on the basics of Occlumency, which will keep her busy for a few weeks, now, where do I ditch Tann, so I can shag my twins… no, I am not going to add her, I have plenty already. Meh, our holiday is over, I might as well start working.

Xxxxx

I fine-tuned the Hyperdrives of the Lucrehulk droid Control ships, after a lot of test flights, we have a Hyperdrive that can fit in Star Destroyer Class ships, what is left is to design one… I have to expand my shipyard.

The decision to change the droid army into mecha droids was easily done, if you have air superiority, ground troops are not needed if you are not planning to conquer other planets.

Did I ever describe our heavy transports? They are beauties! Three quarters of a mile long, a quarter mile high, and a quarter wide. Fifty expanded cargo bays, three passenger quarters fit for five hundred, two Hyperdrives, all of it runed to the gills. With Gemino spells on the fuel, Proton torpedo, and energy, the costs are reduced to the wages of the crew. Reparo spells kept everything in a brand-new state.

The defense is quite impressive if I say so myself, with one Proton torpedo launcher, and eight cannons. Attached to the hull are ten Gundams, who will launch when the ship is getting attacked. If ever someone managed to board the ship, the welcoming comity of a hundred modified battle droids will be waiting for them, and the auto-defense guns mounted on critical junctions.

The proudest I am of the cargo bays, which expanded ten times the original size, Runed with weightless and unbreakable, and best of all, a station that can shrink the cargo to one-third of its size. That way the Heavy transport can load up to thirty times its normal capacity. We are using them to move between Naboo and our five planets for now.

With the increase of the mecha droids and mining, our shipyard's production went through the roof, we no longer depended on parts from other manufacturers, the engineering Force focused on creating the machines that made the parts, and let the mecha droids do the assembling.

The conflict between the Republic and the Trade Federation dragged on, although it wasn't spread out as far as in the movies, the exposure of Palpatine as a Sith prevented the rift between the Outer Rim and the Republic. Hence the Trade Federation kept its name, and only gathered a few more allies, they are still quite powerful though, an endless stream of droids can wear any nation down.

The Jedi started to move the kids from Coruscant using their own ships, I bet the green Muppet didn't want to depend on me more than he already has to. He is still pissed at me though, I guess it is the Patronus I send him occasionally. Palpatine gets one from time to time too, you know? To balance them between Light and Dark. They can't be mad about it, I just gave them tips about the Force.

Xxxxx

Aayla you ask? She is a work in progress, my part in her reform is the help create her mindscape, Aola and Shiri are doing the rest. Three months later, Aola and Shiri dragged her along to our bed. I started to wonder if I will survive this night. I thought I kept this option as a last resort...
