"Dr. O?" Julia's voice rang out into the Command Center and Tommy looked up from his lesson plans. He had been asked to teach a few new classes next semester and the syllabuses desperately needed an update. His office in the dojo had been taken over by Grant and Kimberly had thrown him out of their loft today because…well he didn't know why and he was not going to ask about it. He had gathered that she desperately wanted some time with the babies by herself and he had been more than happy to not argue and oblige. It just so happened that he desperately needed sometime away from everyone.

"Yeah, I got you Jules," Tommy said as he put on a headset and clicked a few buttons to pull up her location and noticed it was pitch black. "Where are you?"

"I don't know," Julia muttered as she tried to look around her and she felt the walls. They were rough, cold, and damp- but it gave her no idea where she might actually be. "I just woke up here. I ran into Axel or more he ran into me and…"

Tommy pressed the teleportation sequence and a ray of pink landed next to him in the Command Center. He placed the headset back on the console and started moving towards the beam of light before she had fully materialized. As the light dissipated he reached out and caught her as she fell into him. He felt some liquid transfer to his clothing as he picked her up and moved her to the infirmary. This was starting to be too common of a place for Julia to be after a fight and he knew the rangers were really getting pissed with Axel. He just hoped that they would remember that there was a human under the uniform.

"I'm going to grab the first aid kit- don't move," Tommy said as he took two steps back and saw the various cuts she had. When he got back to the cot, he noticed that she was staring at the wall, but had completely blocked him out. "What do you remember?"

"I was heading home from class and suddenly there were pedramorphs and Axel and…" Julia trailed off as she frantically wiped at her eyes. Aside from being physically hurt, this was taking a huge emotional toll on her as well. She couldn't talk with the other rangers about it, but she felt that Tommy and Kimberly understood it. "Why is he coming after me?"

"I don't know for sure, but I don't think you're going to like any of my guesses," Tommy said as Julia's pained eyes bore into him and he let out a sigh. Maybe the knowledge that he had would give her some relief. "Kimberly was who I went after most. Until we can get him back, you don't need to go anywhere alone."

"None of the others are at the same university as me," Julia started and Tommy gave her a firm look. "You teach at my university."

"Yeah, I'm not sure that I want a rumor to start about me dating a student, but when the others aren't available I'll make sure you can at least move around campus safely," Tommy stated and Julia barely nodded. "What else is it Jules?"

"He…we…" Julia tried and she then violently shook her head against the idea. She couldn't tell Tommy that Axel had asked her to go out for coffee before he had come back and completely changed. She couldn't tell him about how every boyfriend she had ever had, had been abusive- whether it was physical or emotional. She couldn't tell him that she had just lost all hope that there was any guy that she could open herself up to.

"Jesus…" Shelby whispered as she walked in and the two of them jerked around to look at her. "What happened?"

"I've got to go let Kim know what's going on," Tommy said as Julia stared up at him and he saw the fear return to her eyes. "He can't get in here- you're safe."

The green ranger landed in an alleyway and stalked towards the women at the far end of the alley. He was only focused on one of the women, the other was just a nuisance. He vaguely heard a yell, but quickly discarded the person in his way, grabbing the pink clad ranger and dragging her into the alley.

"Axel. Axel please," Julia begged as she struggled against his hold and felt him tighten it against her, already tender, ribs. "Axel."

"I am the green ranger. I do the work of Kiros and you need to be eliminated," Axel's gruff voice replied from under the helmet and Julia struggled more, angling to get to her morpher. Her hands finally grasped it and she managed to whisper her morphing sequence. As she morphed- it tossed Axel away and she glared towards the green ranger as he slowly pushed himself up from the rubble. "You are my weakness."

"Good, maybe that means you'll come back," Julia said as they sprinted at each other and the combat began. She had never been able to morph when he came and in her morphed form she just hoped she would be strong enough to give the others a chance to get here. She focused on consistent contact, but never looked for a disabling blow- this was about wearing him down. She was sure that she had better endurance, but she had to stay in the fight long enough to prove that. "Axel- this isn't you."

"How do you really know who I am?" Axel asked as he threw her into a building and she crashed through the brick wall. He stalked over to her as streaks of color landed around him and he stilled for a moment. Julia pushed herself to her feet and moved back towards him as the other Power Rangers landed behind her. He noticed the tears in her suit and saw the blood oozing from one of the wounds. He paused for a moment as he felt a pang of regret, but was quickly shaken out of that as he was slammed in the side by another ranger. He turned his focus to the red ranger, but he could not shake the sinking feeling in his stomach that she was right.

"How are you dealing with this?" Kimberly asked as Tommy crawled into bed after tending to more injuries that had been doled out by Axel. He was exhausted and he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to keep up this schedule. Something was going to have to give soon. He had let the rangers handle Axel up until now, but he was starting to think that he might have to intervene.

"You're still awake?" Tommy quipped as she nodded and he shifted to where he nuzzled between her breasts. He didn't want to talk about this and he hoped he might be able to distract her a bit.

"Tommy. This can't be easy for you. Talk to me," Kimberly said as she wiggled against him and he groaned. "The sooner you talk, the sooner you'll get what you want."

"Really? You're bargaining sex for this answer?" Tommy asked and she gave him a shameless smile as she nodded. He let out a groan, but he knew that he was not going to pass up this opportunity. "I don't like it. I know how hard this is going to be for him when he comes out of it and the longer he is in it the more regret he'll have."

"Are the flashbacks getting worse?" Kim asked and he froze. How did she know that he was having flashbacks? He hadn't told her about them and surely she would have mentioned if he was screaming out in his sleep. "You've been talking in your sleep when I've been getting ready in the mornings."

"They're not fun, Kim, but it's not the first time that I have been plagued by them. The Dino Thunder team…" Tommy trailed off for a moment as he closed his eyes and enjoyed her hands rubbing his shoulders. He knew he needed to share what was on his mind, but he desperately wanted a half hour of what she was offering. "Their white ranger started out as evil and I had a lot of flashbacks then. It helped to focus on getting him back and from what Julia said- I think we're getting close."

"I never blamed you for what you did. I knew that it wasn't you and that it was things you would never want to do," Kim said as she pulled him up and he stared at her lips for a moment before he leaned forward and devoured her. It had been far too long for him and he needed this and he could tell that she knew he needed it. The baby monitor went off and he let out a desperate moan as he pulled away from her. "They just don't want daddy to get laid."

"They got here because daddy got laid. I just need a fucking break," Tommy muttered as he rolled out of the bed and adjusted his boxers. He took a deep breath as he stared at the ceiling before he walked over to their bedroom door. He knew that the twins were not doing this on purpose, but it was really starting to feel that way. "That doesn't sound like they're going to go back down easily."

"I'm sorry baby," Kim said as he nodded and then left their bedroom. She had already stayed up later than she should to try to get a few moments with him during the middle of the week. She let out a sigh as she felt herself drifting off to sleep. At least he was dealing with the evil ranger situation better than she thought.

"Why haven't you eliminated her?" Kiros roared as Axel landed back in his lair and he levelly met his gaze. "She is the one that makes you weak."

"I can't!" Axel roared as he stalked toward Kiros. "Every time I get close…I just can't."

"You're pathetic," Kiros spat out as he slung Axel across the room and the man landed in a heap. The pain ripped through Axel and he tried to take in a breath that didn't hurt. "If you can't do the job- then I will."

AN: I am beginning to migrate my stories over to AO3 under the penname baileyholla (because let's face it- for someone who doesn't write Harry Potter fanfiction- my penname here is kind of confusing). Don't worry though- I'm going to continue publishing current works on this site and as I catch up this series on AO3- it will eventually have the same chapters go out. This just gives people that prefer another site the additional option to read there.
