Chapter 11 Slaying Ragnarok Part 2
Lorgar had gripped her mace, seeing the curse in this new dragon-like armor. Though in Lorgar's opinion, the red was a bit much. She held the mace ready to swing away.
As the figure appeared stepped more out of the fog. Lorgar could make more detail out of the cursed armor. There was a constant red menacing aura pouring all over her. Lorgar didn't want to fight perhaps she could negotiate her way out of this.
"Do you know who you are speaking to? Beast!" Lorgar yelled through the fog an echoing laugh rang through the fog. The curse mockingly shook her head.
"And I'm supposed to care why?" The curse asked sarcastically.
"You should care for to fight us is to fight the glory of mankind itself and to fight mankind, you fight the Emperor of mankind himself." Lorgar said, holding Issei close and her mace in her left hand. The curse laughed a storm as the winded started to pick up around them.
"HUMANITY! Oh man, you can't be serious, you're a joke of a race. There is nothing special about humans." The Curse said laughing at the very idea of any humans trying to harm her. Lorgar was outraged by such an insult that was spoken to her and narrowed her eyes.
"You listen well I've heard of the story of your demons and angels do. It is pathetic you are being of divine body and yet you stay in the same place. While humanity reaches for the star, You! stick to your false ideals and sit in the same world complaining about what toys you break."
The Curse stopped laughing it seemed negation appears to be over. Lorgar took the silence as a challenge to battle.
"If I might say one more thing, your title for your apocalypse has to be the stupidest name I've ever heard, your piss poor god Loki sounds like an absolute man-child thinking only ways to end rather than, oh I don't know what gods are supposed to do and fucking make something useful. Your master is a failure at life because he can only use little tricks and gimmicks." Lorgar said as the curse was verbally shut up. Lorgar smirked at the curse.
"Oh, what's the matter can't take a little banter."
The curse scowled at Lorgar's comment while her wings moved skittishly. Lighting fizzled around her fist while a dark aura. The curse zoomed back into the fog to hide from Lorgar's site. The fog washed over Lorgar as she held Issei close, while the sounds of wings flying and circling her, made the matriarch worried.
Lorgar needs to get off this tree fast. In great haste, she ran down the snowy tree side. Though she could not see the curse she could hear the sound of flapping wings pursuing her in the thick fog. Lorgar ran as fast as she could.
"Dragon shot!" The curse yelled as a ball of energy shot toward them. Lorgar narrowly avoided a ginormous explosion that almost knocked her off her feet, but she stood her ground and overcame the force. Lorgar had to keep running no matter what.
Yellow lighting crashed down splitting giant rocks.
Spears of lights stabbed the ground.
Red energy destroyed the area flashing red lights in the fog but all of it didn't stop Lorgar from outrunning it all. The constant running and the cold air made Lorgar taste metallic blood. The sound of laughter echoes behind them.
"AHAHAHAH WHERE ARE YOUR WITTY COMEBACKS NOW!"
"There back with your god you spineless little shit." Lorgar said the most surprising thing was that Issei was still asleep, with all the explosions that were around them he should have woken up by now. Lorgar wondered how could Issei be still asleep. The strikes of lighting had become bigger and louder.
"Brooromaaam!"
The sound of a thunderstorm was now upon them as a dread word was echoed through the storm.
[Boost!]
At least Issei could dream of a better world, than this bombardment of hell. Lorgar gritted her teeth as she moved her legs faster.
Currently in the void Que while Issei paced around back and forth behind Que, Issei wanted to wake up, he tried to think of waking up, hitting himself, and even asking Que to slap him. Which had no effect well Que did get a laugh out of Issei's pain. Que took a sip of tea.
"Don't worry Issei you'll wake in a couple of seconds, minutes, maybe an hour." Que then had a thinking expression. Issei stopped his pacing after hearing Que's words.
"An hour!" Issei exclaimed in panic.
"Give or take." Que said as he set down the book he was reading. Issei felt fear take over. He couldn't wait around while they thought about the curse. This curse is packing serious heat how could they even fight it? Angron did have freakish strength and speed, but would it be enough? Would he wake up not in time was he gonna fail like he did Aisa?
Issei's heart skipped a beat. Aisa was a close friend she was kidnapped by Ranyare and he went to try and save her, but he failed she ended up dying. Sure she became a devil but Issei failed her. That thought of failure had latched onto him like a leach. His breath started slow. Hunting thought crushed his mind, that he was going fail that the people who had saved him were going to die, and he would be all alone again to wallow in his failure.
Que started to notice Issei's sudden silence.
"Issei?" Que called out, yet there was no response.
Issei's hands started to shake, tears started to leak out of his eyes. The feeling of weakness snaked into him.
"Oh god they're going to die and it's all my fault." Issei thought. He falls to his knees holding his head to try and get some sense of control over himself. Que jumped from his chair and knelt by his side. He gently put his hand on his shoulder to comfort Issei. Qui showed worry as he calmly patted Issei's back.
"Come on kid, take a calm breath." Que said as He could see Issei was hyperventilating. Issei turned to him with tearful eyes with a shaking gaped mouth. Que wanted to hug the kid but at this moment he needed something more. Issei's shaking hand gripped Que's shirt.
"I gonna fail them Que, I-I-I-Im g-g-gonna fail." Que knew a panic attack when he saw it, he needed to get Issei to breathe right. "Come on kid breathe slow."
Issei was lost in a panic that words were falling deaf to his ears. Que saw Issei was still lost in his panic, In a moment of action, he firmly grabbed Issei's shoulders. Issei snapped out of his panic daze but his breath was still ragged. An overhealing feeling of darkness surrounds Issei.
"Issei breathe!" Que commands his voice echoing all around. A voice that held the power to shake the very sky itself. Though listening to Que's words Issei's eyes widen as he could hear Que's voice. Issei's eyes relaxed as he started to slowly inhale through his nose and exhale out of his mouth. The calm cooling air released Issei from an inner tightness from inside.
"That's good kid, you're doing fine." Que said patting Issei back in calm. "You're not gonna fail, Okay." Issei shook his head to Que, Right now Issei needed to think positively right now. Issei thought he shouldn't think like that, not anymore. Que then stood up lifting Issei to his feet.
"Come on kid, you got this far don't go breaking down on me now." Que said dusting Issei's shoulder off. "Besides the shadows are on your side. Don't forget that."
Issei silently nodded trying not to show any doubt to Que though nothing escaped Que, he could feel Issei's doubt. "Hey come on Issei don't give up."
Que let go of Issei and started to pop his neck in a stretch. He rubbed his hands together and clicked his teeth. Que then put his arms straight out while his palm was flattened out. Issei gathered himself and had a puzzled face.
"What are you doing?" Issei asked.
Que only smirked at Issei.
"Well, what does it look like I'm doing, I'm trying to wake you up." Que said with a smile. "Issei I can wake you up, but it's gonna take a little while okay."
Issei smiled happily at Que, such a strange guy but he always held him. A tear of appreciation leaked out of his eyes. Issei then waited for his eager wake-up call. The feeling of getting back to others hardened Issei's mind. Nothing would stop him from ending this monster once and for all.
"Thanks, Que."
Que couldn't help but actually smile back at Issei he then had an Idea pop into his mind. Then a cheeky smirk showed up on his face. Issei started to practice his punching and blocking.
"Hey Issei, your gonna find out most of your power by yourself, but would you like a little hint." Que said. Issei stopped what he was doing and gave Que his full attention.
"Heck yeah man!" Issei said, gladly would want to know the secret of his power, heck he even might be able to bet the Red Dragon.
"The way you obtain your Umbreon armor, is that you think of the unknown and that's a good thing but I'm gonna let you know something."
Issei then waited to hear how he was doing something wrong or not doing something right. That he was a league behind and with training and practice he would get there.
"But if you add words to your attacks, that means something to you, they'll take shape and be whatever you need the shadows to be." Que said telling Issei he had limitless power, Issei's eyes widened at the revelation.
"You mean that's it, no special training no understanding." Issei said.
Que shakes his head.
"Oh your gonna train but the words are gonna take you higher than ever before." Que says with a Cheshire grin.
"So if I say fireball will I shoot a fireball?" Issei asked.
"Do fireballs mean something deep to you kid?" Issei shook his head no. "The more powerful you feel about the word, the stronger the attack."
Issei understood what Que meant and he was already lining up an arsenal in his mind.
"So speaking of words I got something for you to make yourself have better armor, come here let me tell you."
Issei eagerly waited only for Que to jester to come closer. Issei moved closer and waited. Que whispers a secret oath to Issei. His eyes widened at the quiet whisper.
Issei backs up in surprise, his face showing an intense shock.
"That's a bit dark don't you think." Issei was actually a bit intimidated by what he said. "I'm supposed to repeat that."
"Trust me Issei, that's something from my personal book." Que said happily.
Then a small vortex started to appear right in front of both of them could see the vortex slowly starting to get bigger inching ever so closely.
"You better think of some words kid because we're on a time limit." Que said.
Issei looked at the vortex with a determined glare, the void around him started to change and while Issei didn't notice, he was so deep in his own mind that words started to appear in his psyche Issei needed to get ready fast.
Lorgar has had many bad days, in fact, she had a mountain of regrets though none of them were as bad compared to this very moment. There was so much firepower being thrown at her, she could have mistaken it for a guardsman firing field. Lorgar could feel something shaking from the ground. Lorgar looked down at the ground to see it slowly being cracked. Then hundreds of different swords of shapes and sizes popped from the ground all of them trying to impale Lorgar but she was too swift for the blades as she weaved through them.
"If that is all you can do, I surely pity the god that made you." Lorgar said with a sarcastic laugh. Lorgar could hear an angry cry in the fog. A smirk appeared on Lorgar's face.
"This thing has quite the temper." Lorgar thought, and she began planning out an attack if the battle came to it. Then the sound of an echoing voice shouted at her.
"[Boost!][Boost!][Boost!][Boost![Boost!][Boost]!."
Lorgar turned her head to see a red ball of energy shot right at her, Lorgar did not have enough time to make a safe doge so she held Issei tight and let the explosion hit near them. Lorgar was hit by the force of the explosion pushing her to the ground as she rolled down the hill. She held Issei in a tight embrace making sure she didn't crush him. Lorgar tumbled down scuffing her armor.
Lorgar then recovered from the fall rolling back into a jog. This thick fog kept obscuring her vision she could no longer tell where she was going but she kept on running. The sound of thunder roared while another Dragon blast shot past Lorgar, and a flash of red illuminated the fog. Raindrops started pouring down onto them as a cold freezing wind blew over them.
"Nice shot dumb ass," Lorgar yelled back.
"Arrragh!" The curse yelled, her voice echoing through the storm. Thunder was now ringing closer, and the bolts of lightning were getting upon them. Lorgar decides to glance around her shoulder to see the curse flying right at Lorgar hot on her trail. Lorgar gripped her mace as she stopped in her tracks as the curse had no way of stopping its momentum shooting toward Lorgar.
In quick action, Lorgar swung her mace with only one hand downward at the cruse head that was a foot away from them. Lorgar brought down her weapon and drove it down onto the monster. The curse did not plan for such a maneuver as the mase drove her head down in the wood impacting it deep in the free. However, no damage was done to her. Thanks to her boost gear, increasing her durability, she was now able to stand equally.
Lorgar bolted down the hill only for a bolt of lightning to almost hit her. The curse ripped its head from the bark and her helmet eyes glowed with green lights of rage. Lorgar had to keep running no matter what. A ferocious roar was coming right behind her. Lorgar shouldn't look back only keep pushing forward. The sounds of wings picked up rapidly.
Lorgar could see the fog getting thicker she held her head down as she finally pushed through it. Lorgar's eyes opened to see she had finally outrun the fog and was on her way to the bottom of the tree, she could even see the burning forest. She had made it, she was going to save Issei. Lorgar then was punched in the back sending her rolling down wildly and without control.
Hitting rocks and breaking her fall on a sharp rock formation. Lorgar's eyes widen in fear as her grip on Issei loosened, the boy fell out of her hand and thankfully landed on the ground roughly but with no cuts or bumps. Lorgar sighed in relief, she turned her head towards the being who did this only to see the curse fist dragon gauntlet inches away from her face, Lorgar's reaction and all her advanced reflexes moved her head out of the way. The curse punched through the rock shattering it into millions of pieces, Lorgar could see no emotion behind that helmet the curse wore but could feel the rage.
Lorgar in haste action swung her mace at the monster. The cruse backway before it could make contact with her. Lorgar then swung it again and hit the curse with great force sending it back quite a couple of feet. Lorgar immediately got back to her feet and stood her ground. The curse for once felt confident about this fight, especially with a couple of boosts she was up to fighting speed. Though her copies of others' power were not as powerful as the original, they were still affected by the boost. The curse charged at Lorgar while Lorgar waited for it to strike. She brought her mace down at the curse only to easily doge it. The curse had a window to strike as the curse smashed its fist into Lorgar actually making the giant wobbly.
Lorgar retaliated by grabbing the curse's left arm and slamming it to the ground. Lorgar gripped as hard as she could, crushing the arm like it was paper. The Curse screamed but threw another punch at Lorgar striking her across the face breaking her nose and making the matriarch let go. The Curse then summons a sword to appear out of the ground punching Lorgar but not sharp enough to pierce her armor. Lorgar swung her mace yet again only for the curse to move away.
The Curse aimed its right arm and as lighting shot at Lorgar. The matriarch fell to her knees as she was being electrocuted, the pain flared everywhere on her body.
The Curse looked at its left arm seeing it was slowly returning to normal the flames of the mighty phoenix got her this far. Lorgar got back to her feet and charged pushing through the pain. The Curse only vanished and appeared behind Lorgar.
The Curse then brought its hands down straight at Lorgar as a crimson glow appeared around her hands. Lorgar was pushed down to the ground as the crimson energy started to slowly eat away at her armor, but found that the resilience of the metal was something else. Lorgar in great force and haste as she swung her mace at The Curse this time making contact. The mace caved into the monster's chest and flung it to the ground.
Lorgar got to her feet and pinned the curse with Lorgar's knees smashing the curse's upper arms into the ground. The Curse looked up to see the fury of Lorgar as she was brought down by a barrage of metal fists onto its chest.
In the mind of Lorgar, she could only feel rage. How could this be from a god, something that only meant to hurt people? What was the point of this monster? We're all gods like this, then what was the point? Lorgar thought as she punched the chest so many times she was making dents in the breastplate armor. The curse felt the cold grip of death start to slowly grip its heart, if it didn't do something it would surely. The curse head slowly turned to see Issei still asleep on the ground, Then a mischievous thought popped into her mind though The Curse was pinned to the ground she could still aim her gauntlet.
"[Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost]"[Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost![Boost!]."
"Dragon shot!" Lorgar's eyes widen in horror to see where she was going to shoot, only to see Issie down on the ground in a quick action Lorgar pulled the arm away from Issei only for the Dragon shot to hit her in the chest. Lorgar felt the blast tear away at her armor and throw her back to the ground. Lorgar felt her right lung punctured and ripped cage broken while her low right body was brunt and the holy silver armor that covered that spot was nothing but fragment on the dirt floor beneath her. Her mase is a few feet away from her.
Lorgar coughed up a bit of blood, while she laid on the ground. The wound was too painful and she couldn't get up. Lorgar knew her own physiology, but she would be surely up in a couple of minutes, only she didn't have the time to do that as The Curse stepped on her chest. The green eyes of chaos gazed at her. Lorgar didn't need x-ray vision to see the smirk under that helmet.
The Curse raised its gauntlet and charged up a killing blow. her lit-up bright red light like a shining star.
"Any last words you freak." The Curse asked. Lorgar felt the pain of failure and regret swell in her heart. She had failed Issei, her sisters who counted on her and mankind. Lorgar felt a tear leak out of her eyes. Lorgar said nothing as she refused to accept. All this happen because of religion because a god made this monster. Why would a god do this why?
Was mankind worthy of existing when a monster like this could trick her? The Emperor I know what you mean, if I knew if anything worshiped this monster, I would destroy that religion myself. Then Lorgar only had one thing to say.
"I'm sorry everyone." Lorgar whispered. The Curse smiled evilly at the words.
"Pathetic." The Curse mocked. The green eyes glowed as she powered herself up.
"[Boo-
"LEAVE HER ALONE." Issei screamed at the curse only for the curse to be met with a black gauntlet covered in a gray colorless aura. The strike was a direct hit to the curse head as she was flung back off of Lorgar.
Lorgar and the curse both looked to see Issei standing up in his Umbreon armor. That obedience color was darker, while he dawed his smooth helmet. The Curse was shocked by the punch. The curse actually felt pain and was pushed back. Issei soon ran over to Lorgar's side, his helmet slowly fading away to reveal a concerned expression for Lorgar. Issei felt terrible about what happened to Lorgar, soon getting memories of when he had failed to save Aisa, but Issei ignored those painful thoughts and held Lorgar's head in his arms.
"Lorgar I'm so sorry, please tell me you'll be okay." Issei said. Lorgar felt her heart skip a beat, she had only seen such great empathy and worry, from her legion. Issei's caring eyes pierced down on Lorgar.
"Please let me take care of my problem, okay?" Issei said with a determined straight face. Lorgar could only nod, in her predicament. Issei gently laid her head on a rock. Lorgar soon slowly crawled away to find cover and yet wanting to watch the fight still crawled to a black spike, to heal her wounds.
Issei held a fighting stance and ready himself for battle.
"I hope you're right about this Que." Issei thought as he brought both his fist together as the shadows felt more powerful under the cloudy dark sky. Issei's voice echoed as it bellowed as the storm that was above them rumbled, while the wind started to pick up. The rain started pouring harder.
"I am the shadow of the night. I am what kills the star for rights, I give no mercy to those who shine, for they will meet a terrible demise, I am the space between death and life, I am your void, so give me your light." Issei had said more than just words, for it was an oath. A promise to end this evil. Issei felt more shadows than usual sink into his armor being absorbed. Issei could hear the whisper from where these shadows came from as they came from the colossal tree itself. The whole area and tree became gray losing color, the darkness lost its shade and even the storm lost its sound.
Issei felt his heart beat like a racecar, while the blood in his veins rushed through him like rocket fuel. His brain was thinking in overdrive exploding with eagerness for combat.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Issei shouted excitedly, feeling the most pumped he's ever been in his life. The curse had never seen a glowing shadow but now the curse could say it had, for that was Issei's very state of being right now, a glowing shadow. Lorgar in all her life had never seen such a site it was so wrong yet so beautiful.
Issei then set his sites on the curse, he dragged up his hand and pointed at the monster.
"Your so dead." Issei said with nothing but malice in his voice.
The curse stood its ground thinking that it had nothing to worry about this is some cheap power. The Curse couldn't feel any demonic energy, in fact, she felt nothing of the boy.
"Fool I'm Ragnarok, I'm am death, you're a high school failure so tell me Issei what will you do to stop me." The curse asked mockingly. Lorgar even wanted to know the answer to what Issei could do. Issei stood strong and gripped his fists. He started to remember the scariest weapons he had seen and only one came to mind as images of claws that belonged to the creature of the forest. While a certain word Konrad said popped into his mind
"Night Hunters Claws," Issei shouted.
Issei's arms started to change and his arms slowly started to bulk up as the black armor grew bigger. His cartilage started to resemble more like long spindly sharp claws. They shined with an obsidian black. Issei looked at his new, only having one word come from his mouth.
"Badass." Issei said as he marveled at what had just happened. Issei then turned to see the curse jetted at him. Issei with this new pumped-up feeling quickly dodged the charge. The curse then summoned a sword from the ground and grabbed it to swing at Issei.
Issei sidestepped again out of the way, the curse then kept swinging wildly. At Issei only for each strike to be dodged, parried, and blocked. Thorough his claws were very new to him, he had a natural instinct to wield weapons with his heart, rather than his mind.
The curse was about to grab Issei by the throat, only for its forearm to be caught by Issei. The Curse's eyes widen in surprise at the overwhelming strength that stopped its attack. Issei was amazed but was quickly replaced with anger as Issei stabbed the curse with his sharp claws, right in its abdomen. The curse gasped for air for it lost its breath. Issei removed his claws and jumped back to make some distance in this fight.
The Curse staggered a bit trying to find its footing. Issei's claws had torn into it like she was made of butter. The claws ripped apart all of her delicate organs. Blood started to drip from her mouth. The Phoenix Flames were all but depleted.
"Dammit I've taken too much damage from all this fighting, I still have enough energy to at least make a killing blow." The Curse thought of as a puddle of blood started to drip underneath her.
Issei was quite surprised to see how the curse collapsed on the hard ground, he honestly thought it felt too easy. Issei still held his fists up waiting for anything to happen. Except for the curse weekly pushed herself up from the ground. Issei then saw its helmet fall off its head as the face of Raynare looked at him. She was beaten, bruised, scratched, and any other manner of injury there was in the book. Issei felt pity The Curse looked like it was gonna kill over and die.
Issei knew when the fight was over. He turned around and started to walk away. The curse watched as Issei walked away from it.
"Is he, is he pitying me, how dare you, you little piece of shit. I am a curse made by Loki and I will not be mocked in this matter. I promise I was going to kill you, let me keep my word." The curse thought maliciously.
Lorgar disappointingly shook her head. Issei needed to know that there was no mercy for the monster. She finally felt her own wounds heal up as she Weekly stood up. Lorgar was about to tell Issei to finish the job. Only for another to beat her to it.
"That's it!" The curse yelled out to Issei.
Issei stopped and turned around to face the curse. There was no hatred in his eyes, only pity. Issei was expecting a battle to rumble the world, not this, she was so weak. The fighting was over. Issei was angry when the monster had tortured him, giving him horrific night terrors, and forcing him to relive his trauma and his memories, but now it was nothing but a person screaming at nothing with no pride. It was alone
"Please no more, it's over, just give up." Issei said his voice almost sounding like empathy.
"Give up, give up. I can't just give up you perverted freak, I'm made to hurt you, I'm made to destroy you." The curse yelled. "So come over here and let me kill you."
The curse smiled at its plan, trying to coax Issei to a rage state where she would trick him and strike a killing blow. Issei only held his pity and shook his head. Lorgar's eyes widened at the realization of what was unfolding in front of her. A being made by a god, asking for a human to kill them. Was this what creation was is this how it would end? Where gods and being this a sniffling child who plays cheap tactics. Lorgar could not help but question what was the point of religion, in general, was this what father was trying to say to her?
Lorgar then shook it off but a nagging feeling of disbelief was seeded in her mind.
Issei's gauntlets started to slowly morph back into normal. Issei wanted to save Lorgar, not fight the sad being in front of him.
"Then maybe you should try to find something else to do, I mean all this hate and sadness, it doesn't help anyone, hell maybe you can give yourself a name for starters." Issei tried to get out of this conversation, but he looked down at his hand to remind himself of a new friend's words.
"You know a friend of mine once said that sometimes we have to let go of a sharp stone, yeah it protects you, but at the end of the day, it's hurting you, and holding on to it for too long gets you nowhere. Sometimes you find a new thing to hold onto, what it is you're holding is up to you."
Lorgar had taken his words, thinking this boy's words were wise and kind. The Curse only had a dumbfounded look. Issei only had a goofy smile as he was half to remember the words. Que was a good friend. Issei began to walk back to Lorgar.
"What the fuck are you talking about, I'm Ragnarok you stupid fool and I kill you, I'll kill all of you!" The Curse screamed. Issei didn't even flinch at its words. Lorgar actually felt the same; there was no point in this thing's death, only a mockery of their honor. Lorgar limped to Issei.
Issei helped Lorgar stand up as they began walking down the mountain. Away from the curse.
The Curse felt utterly defeated as it felt small inside, while anger boiled in her. Tears started pouring down its face.
"Get back here you pervert, this is why none of the girls loved you, you hear me!" The Curse yelled only for the two to keep walking away. In one more desperate yell spit one more lie.
"You know what I did to those two before I found you, I KILLED THAT GORILLA ANGRON AND THAT FREAK KONRAD!" The Curse said as she lied through her teeth. The Curse watched as both of them stopped. Lorgar had stopped. Was that the reason it found them was that her sisters died? Lorgar looked down at Issei only to see dead eyes and a somber expression. The Curse then found her opening as she hid her gauntlet behind her back charging it up as many boosts as she could. Issei then lifted his index finger as a small shadow was absorbed in his vein.
Issei turned around the curse and march towards it with anger in his steps. The Curse's eyes widen knowing this is her chance. She built up the boost to be 50 times, one swing and he's died.
Issei stopped as he towers above the curse. His gauntlet clenched while his muted helmet gave off an ominous arua.
"What did you say." Issei asked in a quiet whisper. The curse jumped up from its injury state and threw a punch that could destroy a mountain, that flew faster than sound as the air cracked when it was thrown at Issei. Lorgar's eyes widened at a bright red light heading right toward Issei's head.
Issei simply held his right arm to block the punch. Before the punch could make any contact at all with Issei, he whisper something under his breath. While he was with Que, Issei was only able to come up with three attacks, Night hunters claws, and two others. One was for defense, while the other was a one-strike killing blow.
Issei said in quiet whisper, thinking of the dark void and unknown. "Hole to the unknown~."
Right above Issei's arm, which was ready to block the punch a dark hole opened up. The curse fist went into the hole only to feel nothing on the other side. Its eyes widen in terror, It was a hole that lead into a nowhere void of shadow. The curse turned its eyes to Issei only to be met with sad eyes. The cruse wonders why Issei was looking at it like that, don't tell me he still pities it.
"Close!" Just as Issei whispered the command, The hole closed slicing The Cruse's arm, and the copy of the dragon gauntlet cleaned off. The curse screamed falling on its back and holding its stump. Its eyes stared at Issei with bloody hate.
"How did you know." The Curse asked frustratingly, for the cruse had lost the battle. Issei still had a sad face looking at the curse.
"A good friend also told me to trust the shadows and I did." Issei shows his right hand and a round shadow dancing across his hand. "The shadows told me that you ran from Konrad and Angron because they almost killed you, also you were planning on killing me with that boosted punch weren't you."
Her jaw dropped, at how he knew of her plan. What had happened to Issei, this was no longer a king this was something worse this was a monster. Issei's right eye shed a tear.
"You were made just to kill me, I'm sorry but I don't think you want to change." Issei said, he then sadly looked at his fist. "So let's finish this okay."
"Ha like you think I'm gon-." The curse felt its words die in its mouth. Every muscle in its body was paralyzed. Though the cruse heart still was beating. Issei then gently laid the curse on the ground. Issei then gazed down at the curse. When thinking of the night hunter claws the creature poison was also a nice addition.
"I wanted to hate you because I thought you were Raynare, so I thought I could get my revenge and live happily ever after." Issei said with hope in his voice. Then he had a stiff sniffle, his fists gripped very hard. "But the truth is, you're not Raynare, the one who hurt me is long gone, and guess what? She never gonna come back. Because that's how the world works, I have to live with that, you're just something made to hurt me and that's it." Issei said in a sad voice. Lorgar watched as Issei was talking about his trauma and wanted to say something but couldn't find the words
"I'm sorry to say this but I'm tired of hurting myself and I thought if I could give you a chance then maybe I could redeem myself, but you…you just need to go away like the rest of her." The curse could only respond with a heated glare.
"I need to let this all go." Issei said.
Issei then stood up and prepared a punch, he held his stance and started to think calmly as a ball of shadow engulfed his right arm. He held his stance, his fist aimed for the curse's chest, specifically its heart. Issei kept thinking about calm thoughts.
A calm feeling to wipe away all harmful emotion, just like when Angron healed his pain and comforted him. The feeling of forgetting: like all of his pain was consumed away. By a world eater.
Issei keeps thinking about that emotion that Angron made him feel. More shadows started to move toward the ball of darkness. More and more shadows started to gather, and the dark night cloudy sky started fading into a lifeless gray. The air around them did the same even the color around the area faded. Lorgar began to worry seeing this black knight take color away. More shadows from afar started to move.
Leman and Mortarion both held their weapons tight as they enter the burnt-down forest, their boots were stained with burnt charcoal. Both of them looked to the sky to see it lose its color and fade away into gray.
Mortarion held her scythe but then looked to the ground to see the same thing happen as a wave of colorless gray started to take over the ground. Leman and Mortain both saw it was coming right at them. So both ran only for the wave to wash over them.
Leman looked at her hands and shook to see she had no color, she turned her attention towards Mortarion to see the same colorless shade on her. Both of them showed worried expressions.
"What is happening?" Mortarion asked Leman only turning her attention towards the mountain, having no knowledge it was actually a tree.
"We have to move fast." Leman said.
The remaining Matriarch gathered around the table that was outside. Rogal and Horus had asked for everyone to have another meeting. Leman had been taking too long to bring back Angron.
All of them were about to discuss a new plan only for them to turn around to see a wave of no gray cover them all in a flash. Each Matriarch held a fighting stance only for it to realize what happened to them seeing how they were all colorless.
"What is this?" Horus asked not knowing what to do. Maguns marveled at what was happing. Vulkan worriedly looked around trying to find an answer. The Lion held her sword ready to chop anything down.
All of them looked to the sky to see how the world around colors and shadows was being taken away as the very thing that made it have beauty was being pulled away in one direction. The route Leman had gone.
Sanguinius ready her wings for battle and flew to the sky. She soar to the sky and flew as fast as she could to the source of this wave of gray.
"What have we gotten our selves into," Rogal said with actual unease in her voice.
The gray continued to strip away shades of everything to the horizon and beyond. Unknown to all the Matriarchs if you looked from a planet-wide scale all the world's colors started to fade.
Lorgar only watches Issei in awe and terror. Lorgar felt a sense of fear take over, not fear of Issei, but the power he held. It was then she felt that fear overwhelm her into kneeling, it was like her light was being forced down, to obey.
"Issei stop." she called in a hushed whisper.
Issei still had his gaze on the curse, he looked to see his hand engulfed by a massive ball of shadow, it was the size of a house. Issei knew it was enough. Issei gave one more final look at the curse to see it was still paralyzed. The curse gave one more final gaze at Issei. A sad thought came to my mind.
"I guess this was the end, now I know why I failed today. You weren't the same boy who I tortured, you changed." The curse thought. "Then I guess I did succeed the old you is gone, well enjoy the giant women, you lucky pervert."
Issei took a deep breath and looked at the massive ball of shadow.
"World Eater! Bite." Issei shouted strongly finally ready to let go, Lorgar's eyes widen. "Issei named his attack after Angrons legion."
The sphere of shadow cracked as it reveal itself to be not a ball, but a giant maw full of sharp black teeth with a sharp black forked tongue licking the teeth with a gluttonous growl. The curse eyes widen in terror at the realization of what was going to happen to It. Issei then looked back to the curse. His face changed into a guilty expression.
"Sorry, but you did kind of torture me for a long while, I'm sure this won't hurt much." Issei said only for the maw to slam its jaw hungrily. The Curse then felt fear for its death would be painful. Lorgar also winced at the idea. Issei threw the maw at the curse. The maw took a giant bite out of the ground and consumed the curse in one bite. The maw shut its steel jaw tight, chewing the curse into a mangled mess. Issei slowly walked away from the maw and to Lorgar's side.
Lorgar started to shake in fear as Issei walked towards her.
"Was he going to kill me, I'm already kneeling in fear." Lorgar thought, only for that thought to be shot down as Issei help Lorgar back to her feet. Lorgar then saw Issei smile at her with worried eyes giving a feeling of comfort. Lorgar softly smiled back.
"Are you going to be okay?" Issei asked, he then looked down at her wound to see that it was completely healed. Issei's eyes widen. Lorgar couldn't help but smile at Issei's wonder.
"We all heal a bit faster." Lorgar said though she changed her eyes to the maw that was still chewing. "So what's happened now."
Issei then looked at the maw with a curious look as well. Issei honestly did know what was gonna happen next. Issei then shrugged his shoulders.
"To be real right now, I don't know what happens next's maybe goes away or-." Issei couldn't finish his words as a massive explosion boomed out of the maw as giant waves of color and shadow gushed out of the maws mouth throwing up a rainbow of chaos. Lorgar and Issei stood their ground as a massive force of wind swept the planet. The clouds in the sky were washed away. All the color had returned to the world as the two looked to see the maw slowly fade away not before smiling at Issei.
"Thank you for the meal~." The maw said in a goofy voice, though that's where its last words were before the maw faded away. Leaving no trace of the curse behind. Both Issei and Lorgar had dumbfounded looks. Lorgar could write about it later right now Issei needed to go back to the camp. Lorgar was about to carry Issei. Only for him to stare at the sky in wonder. Lorgar wondered why Issei would look at the sky only to see that Issei was gazing right at the night sky. Lorgar had surely seen her fair share of stars but right now this was something else.
Two moons shined on the planet while the stars of a million different colors shined and it looked to be the beginning of a meteor shower. Issei's eyes felt tears of relief.
"It's over, finally it's over ~YAWN~!" Issei let out a loud yawn, he can't really remember when he had some good sleep or went asleep normally. Issei's eyes started to feel heavy as his arm went limp. He was happy the curse was finally gone and he felt more at peace than before. He was free now and maybe he could finally have a good dream.
"Hey Lorgar ~YAWN~ I think I'm gonna take a nap, but I'm glad your okay, good night." Issei passed out as Lorgar caught him before Issei could hit the ground. Lorgar held Issei and gazed at him with amazed eyes, this was a man who helped others. Issei was something else. Perhaps an answer to her question. Lorgar couldn't help but look at Issei with dazzled eyes.
"Your strange Issei but in a good way," Lorgar admitted. She smiled at Issei "You might have the power to shake the earth, but he sure does have a face like an angel'." Lorgar said quietly.
Lorgar then thought deeply about Issei; his whole story was something else, could Issei truly be an angel for humanity? Lorgar gently caresses Issei's sleeping face.
"Lorgar!" Angron's voice called out from behind. Lorgar turned around to see Angron, Konrad, and the Khan, all running toward her. All of them formed a protective circle around the two.
"Lorgar, we must walk with caution, the curse is still out there." Angron said.
"It's gone, Angron, Issei killed it." Lorgar said, almost all of them looked at her with widened eyes. Angron wondered if Lorgar killed it, while Konrad wanted to know how it died.
"Issei summoned a great maw made of shadow and killed it." Lorgar said holding Issei close. The Khan's eyes widened this Issei was reasonable for the area turning gray. Before anyone could ask questions. Lorgar looked at them.
"Before we ask any questions, I think it's time we go back for the others." Lorgar admitted. Konrad was silent when her vision of the future came true. If that was right, then their happy ending would happen too. Konrad had a calm smile.
"Yes, that would be the best choice, wouldn't it? my sisters." Leman's voice called out to them. The group all turned to see Leman Russ the wolf Queen watching them all with studying eyes, while next to her Mortarion the queen of death held her scythe ready for battle. Angron knew they were after her, so she walked away from the group and stood off in front of the two who were meant to take her back.
Leman readies her battle axe, while Mortarion held her scythe. Though both of them felt something was off, Angron looked a bit healthier and she didn't look like she was angry. Angron raised her two-chain ax in the air. The Khan was about to step forward only for Angron to drop her chain axes on the ground while the chains unravel off her arms, she sat on her knees and put her hands behind her head.
"I surrender!" Angron yelled. Leman Russ's eyes widen. Leman's gaze of surprise was meant with Angron as for the first time in Leman's life saw Angron with calm eyes. Leman watched as Lorgar held the human in her arms, he was fine and had what looked like no injury.
The Khan walked behind Angron and clasped her hand on Angron's shoulder. Khan jested to her sister to get it and so she did. All of them were waiting for a big battle, only it was a calm situation. Leman felt a bit confused about what was going on, all she could do was think was what strange times these are. Mortarion didn't know what to think as well. Though they found the boy and maybe some questions would be answered.
Though the time was calm here, unknown to them that wave of color reached all over the milky wave while reaching the deepest parts of warp and something beyond the veil of reality.
The wave of shadow was a message, something is here to change the world for better or worse.
On the planet far away known as Terra, was a giant city home to billions of people Deep in the heart of Terra a giant golden castle stood for miles, as it reached the sky with its amazing towers. This was the Imperial Palace a golden fortress that spanned kilometers. The Imperial Palace is as heavily populated and just as active as any hive city of the Imperium, probably with a higher density of population per square kilometer than most hive cities.
Almost every level and byway would take a lifetime to learn and only the custodes knew of every in and out like the back of their hands. The Imperial Palace was nothing to scoff with a giant army protecting one. This was the home of the beloved Emperor of mankind. The Emperor sat on the golden throne of Terra. It acted as a key for warp travel. The Emperor's psychic might was like a north star helping those who were in the warp guide them home.
The Emperor's features were slim and beautiful, his hair long and black, his skin tone a perfect tan, his eye's shined gold and he wore golden armor. It was beyond words. The perfect being's facial features were twisted into discomfort and pain.
A Month ago all of his daughters went missing, no trail, no track nothing. The Emperor even ruled out the possibility of the dark god's interference, for she didn't feel their energy at the sense in any way. The worst part was that all of it made no sense. What in all of the galaxy could have caused this?
The Emperor's eyes looked to the doors to the golden throne, she needed to make a move, but was could he do? Then a wave of shadow past the room, and the Emperor's eyes widen in surprise as feeling relief washed over him. The wave of shadow soon faded to the next room. The Emperor's eyes were shocked to his core, a shadow had entered this room of light. It was inconceivable what had just happened, but it did. The Emperor's heart skipped a beat.
What was worse is that the shadow whispered something, a title, a name, something that told the Emperors what sent this message.
H̶̱͑͋̈́́͂̓̈͌̒ͅȇ̸̤͓̝̂͗̔͊̋̊̆̄̋͠ ̶̛̞̝̙̹̖͆͆̌̋̋͜͝͠W̷̧̢̛̙̙̱̙̼̘̰̩̽̇̾̅̿̏̈̀̄̐͛̋̕͜͝h̷̨̢̰̻͈͕̠͔̘̯̰̘͚̭̙̆̈̈́̊̾̊͌̑̄̍̓̚ö̴͇̟̖̍̄̂͂̉̌͗͊̈́̈́͝ ̷̢̢̨͈̻̹͓̲͉̘͔̬͑̄̆̓̆ͅM̷̧͙̝̞̜̀͒̇̒̏ǟ̷̼̣̼͓̖̻̭̯̲̮̹̩͔̟̥̏d̶̢͉͖̭̖̱̳̎̾̇͛͛̃̀ͅȩ̵̡͓̗̤̽̓̀̑́ ̴̼̐͂̌̅̈̅̾D̴̛͎̣̮̓͗̽̽̈́̈͘ã̴̢̨̨̨̛̗̮͇͍̗͔͚͎̦͊͛̂̅͛́̈́̓̚r̴̨̛̹̻̤͈̞̺̤͍̰͆̉́̑̿͌̉͒͊̕͜k̷̛̺̹̺̩̒́̈͐͘͠ͅ ̵̧̛̣̺̟͚̞̯̥̬̈́͋̄̋͂͊̒̈́̕̕͝͝h̸̨̡̯͉̗͇̥̦̥̜̹͍̀͆̈́͂̿̾͗̅̎a̷̗͇̙͎͆͑̍̇̋͒s̶͉̬̮̥̺̪̼̳̯̥̮̄̀̋͑̿͗̚ ̸̛͚̣͒́͌̀͌͌̕̕͝͝r̸̪̆̓͋̏͛̒͋̍ę̷̛̤̩̙͇̮̤̦̪̣̪͍̰̜̣̿͆̌͛̈́͑͆͑̚͝ţ̴͉̟̠̬̌̒͛̊̑ự̵̳̞̜͈͕̯͎̮͛̈̊̈̈́͌̄̄̔̇̃̓̏̕ͅṛ̴̾̌n̶͔̮̽ȩ̵̛̮̤̩̜̗͙̻̫̻̻͂̓̅̊̄̏̈́̓̽͘͠͠ͅḓ̸̩̪͉͇͉͊̒͌͑̄̔͌͒̎̄̔̾̚͝ͅ!̷̳̪̻̖̭̫̉͌͐͐̓͌͊̿̌̊̆͑̍͝͝ͅ ̷͓̟͓̬͂̈́̐͆͑͑̉̒̋͌͆̐͝
The Emperor of mankind's eyes widen in horror as a message of pure shadow was sent to him, nothing psychic, not even an ounce of light in the words only darkness. The Emperor of Mankind feared the words that crossed the galaxy, the only thing that the Emperor thought about now was who else would hear the news and who is this being of shadow.
"This is not going to plan."
Okay that is the chapter, man I know my fights seem a bit fast, but I'll try better next time anyway, I'm gonna be taking a break week-long break, Also you now you know the who's, in Issei, he who made dark, To honest it took me a million ideas to find the right one, but he who made dark would be perfect. Issei's ability to control shadowed to a very impressive state. Though what a shadow does best, when faced with any object or obstruction, it is always behind it and takes the necessary shape to fit the light, Issei shadows are meant to adapt on a cosmic scale. That is why Issei was able to push out Angrons nail, it was the best option to do. We did reach under followers and I can't thank you guys enough. So all of Issei's attacks were based on events that happen in other chapters
Night hunters claws- Issei fears about the claws of the monster, while also emotion's about the first time he meant Konrad.
Hole to the unknown- When Issei hid in the hole during the Forrest monster, that was his first time defending himself.
World eater bite- based on Issei and Angron's relationship
Also voice cast time.
The Maw- Tom Kennny.
Also here are some music choices to spice up the fight your choice for Issei vs cruse.
Heart-shaped box
Babydoll x the perfect girl
Linkin park- Bleeding out
Ending song
Linkin park- Shadow of the day
Ps, this is edited.
That is all thank you for reading you beautiful people, don't forget to favorite, follow and leave a review if you want. Anyway, thank you guys I'm out of peace.
