Chapter 19 Issei and the Lightning Phoenix Part: 2
Issei and Konrad walked through the grand halls of the mansion. Konrad had remained stoic and calm, keeping a steady pace; she knew where she was going, but she didn't really want to go there. She would never ask for The Lion's help. Konrad and Lion El Johnson had always disdained each other. The Lion hated Konrad's brash and terrorist actions. Though Konrad could have a good argument too. Out of all of them, The Lion was the second most secretive. The first obviously being Alpharius, no one knew what she was really up to. The only one who really could figure her out was Horus, but even that proved to be a difficult task even for her.
Issei noticed how Konrad was very quiet. He wondered what was irritating his love. In truth, he did find the Lion the most intimidating. It was like looking at a beast in human form. Her eyes had the resemblance to that of a cold-hearted predator. Her demeanor is always ready to strike. Issei had a joking idea come to his mind.
"Why is it that the oldest sibling happens to be the most terrifying."
The two had walked through the long halls and eventually met with a grand metal door at the end of the hallway. On the door was a Lion engraved into the metal door.
They both stood their ground, Konrad nudged Issei to the door.
"What are you doing?" Issei asked. She gave him an annoyed glance.
"You're the one who challenged Fulgrim to a duel, so you will be the one to ask the Lion for help." Konrad said. Issei faced the door as he felt an ominous ambiance leak from the door. Issei turned around to hopefully get some encouragement from Konrad only to see she had left him alone.
"Aw come on man!" Issei let out. He turned around to face his fears. He began walking to the door. Each step he took echoed in his mind. He took a calm breath. After what felt like an eternity he reaches the door. He slowly reached for the door handle and his other hand was about to knock on the metal but before his knuckles could graze the metal.
"Come in." The Lion said from behind the door. Issei felt a chill crawl up his spine. She was already aware of his very presence. He took a nervous gulp as he pushed on the heavy door it gave a loud screech. Issei's eyes looked upon the room to find it to be bigger than Konrads. There was no bed, only a desk, and chair. On the wall were names and notes. The Lion had sat on the chair while she sharpened her sword, to a very cutting edge. The black armor made her look terrifying.
She then gave a sharp glance at Issei. He froze nervously; The Lion's gaze would scare the strongest of men.
"What do you want?" The Lion said coolly. Issei took a deep breath and faced the warrior before him. He kneeled towards the Lion and held his head down. He needed to word this right or he would fail in his fight against Fulgrim.
"Please Lion El Johnson, I Issei Hyoudou ask that for a short time, that you would be able to teach me how to wield a blade, I'm a novice in my skills with a blade." Issei asked his voice to be calm but he was punishing his fear. Issei felt like falling into a panic attack. Her mere presence was so strong, Issei wanted to play dead and hoped she would leave her alone. He repeated in his mind to face his fear.
There was a long pause in the room. Issei eagerly waits for The Lion's answers. He waited for a couple of minutes though still no answer. Issei in the act of wanting to know lifted his head to see what The Lion's reaction was.
He felt like running from the ground as he witnessed The Lion's expression. She had given a stern glare, she had stopped sharpening her sword.
"Why." The Lion asked, her voice cold as ice. Issei had to tell the truth and so he would.
"I challenge Fulgrim to a duel in seven days from now." Issei said, his tone of voice awkward and unsure. The Lion snorted at the idea.
"This Boy should know better than to challenge any matriarch to a fight that would surely end in defeat for him." The Lion thought. There was nothing he could do against her, even with his strangeness. Though the idea of her arrogant sister falling to such a small being would be eagerly delightful. Though in the end she was a knight and she would not sully her time with these childish antics
"Issei, I shall not teach you, that is my final judgment." The Lion said. She stood up to her feet and looked down upon him. "I may also say that this duel is ridiculous and a complete waste of time."
Issei stood his ground as the Lion glared at him. He knew it was time to go but he understood, though he would not let Angron be insulted so freely. He gave the Lion a polite bow.
"I understand sorry for wasting your time." Issei said. The Lion was surprised, she had just insulted him yet he was unfazed. Most would run and hide but he understood. This was a rare trait in humans, being logical. Issei turned around and walked past the door frame.
The Lion had wondered what this boy was, there was something about him that didn't add up to her. He was so nice, kind, and loyal. He had told them of his origins and yet he trusted them. They owed him more than now, freeing their sister Angron was a grand jester. Though would they bring him back to his world? After all that they heard about the devils.
If he did return he would bring the untold millions of the Imperium of man, to burn his old world. He acted strange and scared.
Not to mention she could do no harm especially after Magnus announced him to be the ally of the Imperium. The Lion could feel that Issei was hiding something from them, but what was it? She was left alone in her room. The Lion wanted to know everything about Issei. Could he have been responsible for this? They were in a stranded situation. When all of a sudden this Boy shows up and controls the shadows, things were amiss and the boy had something to do with it.
As issei was gone from her site, she had only one thing on her mind.
What was Issei hiding from them?
Issei walked through the halls, he was finding it hard to breathe. His eyes filtered in alarm, his ears ringing. That meeting with The Lion frightened him. Issei could see how alone he was in the hallway. He felt his eyes leak with tears. The wake of pain had pushed him down.
"Why did Konrad leave me? Oh god, please tell me she didn't." Issei felt his mind scream in hysteria. The world around him began to shake. He fell to the floor hard.
The world was spiraling around him. A panic attack just settled into him. All around him was the fear of loneliness.
His vision was blurring as he pulled himself up on a wall. All was quiet. Issei was trapped in his fear.

Until a voice spoke to him.
"Breath!" The voice had washed all that fear away from him. His hearing had returned and his vision was clearing up. He had found that Angron was kneeling by his side, her eyes glowing with yellow kindness. Issei's eyes were welcomed by the concerned faces of Konrad and Angron. Both of them had gazed at Issei with loving eyes. Konrad held him close, laying on the ground with him.
"W-w-what are you guys doing." Issei said. The two Matriarchs gave a relieved sigh. Issei tried to stand up but was aided by the two of them. Issei gave them both a humble look.
"Thank you." he said. Angron gave him a tense look.
"Issei, you had another panic attack what happened." Angron asked, wanting to know so this would never happen again. Issei felt ashamed as he looked down. Only for Konrad to gently pull up his chin to face them. She would not have their love wallow in shame.
"Issei we're not angry we just want to know what happened." Angron said.
"Did your meeting with the Lion fail?" Konrad said. Angron turned towards her sister with a studying look.
"What meeting with the Lion?" Angron asked. Issei didn't want any blame on Konrad, so he decided to speak up and let her know.
"Fulgrim was insulting you so I kinda challenge her to a duel." Issei admitted.
"What!" Angron said in a bloody panic. Granted it was sweet but she would not have Issei do such dumb things for her. Also was he even ready to fight especially with his mental state? Dammit where was Vulkan. "Issei you didn't have to do that, I could care less but I will not have your temper control you."
Issei looked away. She had a point and even the Lion did as well, maybe this thing was childish.
"Sorry Angron, Ill try to apologize to her, many grovel at her feet don't I." Issei said. Angron's eyes narrowed in anger at the very idea of her love bowing to that arrogant peacock.
"Issei I don't want you to fight, but I also don't want you to kneel either. this is your choice I won't get in your way." Angron said. Having a downcast saddens me. Issei got to her side and gave her a calm smile.
"Hey I won't let you down, I'll fight for you." Issei said. Angron blushed at his words but still held a stoic face. Konrad then broke the sweet moment.
"So did she say yes," Konrad asked.
"No." He said. "I guess we're out of options."
"That's not true." Konrad said. Angron also had a pondering look at who they could ask for sword fighting lessons.
"We can go to the Khan." Konrad suggested. Angron herself knew very little of the Khan, out of all their sisters she was somewhat private about her business. While keeping a lot to herself. Though she was known to be very fast. Issei didn't mind that idea at all. The Khan meeting they had, seemed to get off with a good hitch.
"I guess that could work, okay let's go to the Khan." Issei said. Angron wanted to go but she knew Rogal would call for her.
"You go without me, I'm still under house arrest." Angron said. Issei gave a nod and walked away. Konrad waited as Issei was out of their sight. Konrad looked at her sister with a concerned look.
"Sister, we need to talk." Konrad said. Angron wondered what she was gonna talk about.
"Last night, I confessed my feelings to Issei." Konrad said. A long awkward pause settled between them. Konrad was expecting a storm of rage to shatter the planet. However, it never came. Angron had a baffled look. Though behind her calm mask was a boiling raging volcano wanting nothing more than to punch a hole in the wall. Though she quickly put that rage down.
"He wants a harem, He wants a harem, He wants a harem." Angron thought, while she calmly began to cool down.
"Okay that still doesn't change the plan, I will confess to him later possibly when he heads to bed tonight," Angron said calmly. "If that is all then please let me get to my work."
Angron began to walk away making plans for tonight wanting to make her perfect confession. Konrad walked past the hall and turned to see Issei behind a corner with wide eyes.
"How long were you standing there." Konrad asked. He let out a calm breath.
"Enough!' Issei said as a blush appeared on his face. He always suspected that Angron might have been interested in him and he would lie if it weren't feeling the same. Though he would worry about it later, he needed to train. Konrad felt a tinge of jealousy but she knew sharing was the best option. They walked through the halls.
"Are you okay with me having a harem?" Issei asked. Konrad gave a rare kind smile.
"I don't mind at all, as long we're all happy." Konrad said. He gave a soft chuckle and in a great action of haste lept off the ground, giving her a quick peck on the check. Konrad smiled.
"I'm really starting to like that." Konrad said. He had a brash idea and spoke.
"Good because there's more to come." Issei said. Konrad blushed a storm, trying to fight off her wobbly knees. Even Issei was trying to fight his own blush. Some time had passed. Konrad and Issei had walked to the mess hall seeing Lorgar eating a bowl of what looked to be salad. She turned her attention towards the two and happily met with them. though she didn't want everyone to know, yet.
"Good morning Issei how are you feeling today." Lorgar asked. Issei smiled at Lorgar's cheerfulness. Konrad narrowed her eyes at her, there was something off about Lorgar today.
"Thanks, I'm doing pretty good." Issei said. He couldn't help but think of their past meeting, how was she holding up from all the groundbreaking news, that and catching him making out with her sister was kind of super awkward. Konrad didn't really care that their sister caught them in such a wonderful act of love. All that mattered was them at that moment.
"Lorgar where is the Khan, we need to see her." Konrad said her voice caring a sense of urgency.
"Oh, I might have seen her in the blue fields." Lorgar said. With that Konrad walked past her and to the doors that lead outside. Lorgar followed behind, mostly closely behind Issei. Konrad knew she was gonna follow them. Issei found it a bit awkward but still walked out of the building. They reached the aspen forest and began their hike.
Issei awkwardly scratched the back of his head. He faced Lorgar and gave a fake cough.
"So Lorgar about what happened last night-" He tried to say only for Lorgar to cut her off.
"I perfectly understand, you and Konrad clearly have something going on between each other." Lorgar said in an understanding tone. Konrad gave a glance behind her to Lorgar. She expected a more brash response. Issei was relieved to hear that, he was afraid that Lorgar might have been angry at him. You know sisterly bonds and all that.
"You two were in a lover's embrace and I interrupted you both, I'm sorry," Lorgar said. Issei blushed but they all kept moving forward.
"Good just keep that to yourself Lorgar, I don't want all of my sister's prying eyes." Konrad said. Lorgar gave a respectful nod. Lorgar did wonder one thing though.
"Why do you seek The Khan." Lorgar asked. Issei winced at the question and wanted to hide anything about the fight from others.
"I challenged Fulgrim to a fight because she was talking bad about Angron and I'm gonna ask the Khan to train me with a sword." Issei said. Lorgar gave an audible gasp. Issei would fight that amazing swordsman and bit of a well-known prick.
"Well I hope you win in your fight, Thorne knows Fulgrim could use an attitude adjustment." Lorgar said. Issei was surprised to hear that.
"Is Fulgrim known to be prideful?" Issei asked wanting to know the truth. "Yes!" Both of the matriarchs said.
Did he just challenge a prideful person, well phoenix was in her name. The last thing he needed was another phoenix. After a couple of minutes, they reached their destination. The blue grassy fields blew in the wind. Konrad looked around to see no one there. Konrad had thought this was a lost cause but Issei sat on the ground waiting. Lorgar and Konrad both gave him a confused look.
"What are you doing?" Konrad said.
"This is my problem, I'll fix it, I'm gonna wait for The Khan to show." Issei said. Konrad then took a seat by his side.
"Fine, I'll wait with you." She stated. Lorgar also sat behind them, having a calm gaze.
"Yes, and I will too." Lorgar said.
"Guys this is my fight let me solve it." Issei said. Though his protest did not reach their ears. Konrad gave him a snort. She then wrapped her hand around Issei's hand. He was surprised by the action but not sacred. Issei loved how she was there for him.
"What woman would I be to abandon my love, also I believe it is best that you are not left alone." Konrad said. She deeply regretted what she did, leaving him alone to meet the Lion. She Shoulda have been by his side but feared that her presence might have dissuaded the Lion.
"I won't leave your side ever again," Konrad said. Lorgar could see the loyalty in her eyes. It was inspiring, she oddly wished she could have that. The idea of coming home to her husband and family sounded so beautiful to her. Though she was beyond that, was she? Even though they were superhumans, part of them craved a normal life.
They heard footsteps approach them, they glanced to their right to see The Khan herself walking on the edge of the forest. Her gaze locked on them. Issei stood up from his ground and gazed back at her mighty appearance. Issei waited as the Khan walked to him, the way she walked was slow yet every footstep was like a strike of thunder in Issei's mind.
He knelt to the Khan giving his full respect. The Khan nodded back to him, accepting the jester. He got to his feet and took a calm breath.
"Hello, Khan or lord Khan!" Issei said, trying to find the appropriate name to say.
"Khan is fine, Issei, to what do I owe the pleasure." She asked in a cool tone of voice. Issei stood up and took a deep breath. He had to tell the truth.
"I came here to sharpen my blade skills and work on my agility." Issei then gave the Khan calmly glance. "I challenged Fulgrim to a fight and I only seven days to train before I can face her."
"That's dumb, but I will train you." The Khan said. Though it all did sound strange to see Fulgrim lose her cool to such a normal human. Yet it would be such a sight to see her lose. Not to mention it would allow her to better understand Issei's strange shadow magic, though maybe the idea of fighting Issei did give her an adrenaline rush. Lorgar's and Konrad's eyes widened in surprise. Issei continues to speak like he didn't hear the Khan's answers.
"Now I know your gonna say no but hear me out." Issei said. The Khan grew confused by Issei's response.
"Issei, I said yes." The Khan said.
"If you help me I won't let you down, I shall show the respect that you want, and I'll promise to be your best student." Issei said like the answer had not registered in his mind. Konrad could see he was in a state of mind to only hear the Khan saying no.
"Issei she said yes." Konrad said snapping Issei towards her.
"She did?" Issei asked. The Khan gave Issei a confused gaze. "Your not very smart are you?"
Issei felt his eye lit with a fiery passion to train, The Khan could see it herself and it made her excited. Lorgar could imagine it now the duel between the Khan and Issei would be amazing.
"Alight let's do this." Issei shouted. Konrad gave a goofy laugh at Issei's enthusiasm. "Dork."
The Khan then gave a strong glare at Issei snapping him into a straight stance.
"Issei, I shall test your will to fight, I will break you and remake you. I want to show you the freedom of the blade, it will be an extension of your will to fight, do you want to beat Fulgrim." The Khan said her cool voice raising into a stoic tone. Issei gave a nod back.
"Oh, course." He said.
"Then let's begin." The Khan said unsheathing her sword.
In the house of Dorn.
Horus had walked through the halls of the grand mansion. Sanguniuis was locked away in her room for the better. She held a bag full of gadgets, she wanted to bring these devices to Perturabo, all of these strange devices would be stepping stones to their freedom. Walking through the halls she witnessed one moving toward her away. Fulgrim gracefully held herself through the halls, with a hint of anger in her steps.
"Is something wrong sister?" She asked. Fulgrim didn't answer with regular words but with a low angry grumble. Horus had tilted her head in confusion wondering what was bothering their sister; she had never seen her this frustrated before. Not to mention the light blush on her face. Horus shook it off, she had better things to worry about.
Horus could see the door ahead of her. She knocked on it letting her sister know she was there. Horus opened the door to see Perturabo working on a metal contraption. She still wore her advanced armor. She turned her attention toward her sister, her eyes noticing the many devices that were held in her arms. Horus gave that same charismatic, devilish smile.
"Sister, I bring you some gifts to aid in our escape from this world." Horus said. Perturabo stood up and looked at all the devices. Horus laid them down on her work table. Perturabo studied the machines on the table with marvelous eyes.
Perturabo was widely known to be a master engineer; many other works still have the imperium to this day. There was something about how she understood technology just by a single glance. It was amazing the things you could build just by looking at them and understanding them. This deconstructing of gadgets made her the perfect siege master, a job she hated, and Horus knew very well that she disliked her position. The Queen of Iron was nothing but cold logic, a perfect contender for understanding these machines.
Perturabo took a long sigh.
"I'll see what I can do." She said, Horus nodded and walked out of the room. She didn't want to be in the way she was fully aware that her sister was capable of taking on the task at hand. Horus closed the door behind her. Leaving the Queen of iron to work. She took a long sigh and looked over the room. Perturabo sighed at all the creations she had made, a blacksmith table, a more simple furnace, and the handmade tools at her disposal. She desperately wanted to close her eyes and rest for a little bit. She did know of the consequences if she did that. Every time she goes to sleep, she would see the eye of terror in her dreams. A warp rift that would have horrible effects on any person who would dare travel in its sector. Though she tried one time to close her eyes to be punished by the same thing. Only this time it didn't happen, her gaze was amazed as a dark black glow gave her a nice kind warmth. And in the middle of it all was Issei holding a stance ready for battle.
Perturabo snapped out of her gaze to breathe in a heavy breath. She had wondered what the hell happened. Though no reasonable explanation could be made in her mind, for this was something beyond rationale. The Queen of Iron shakes it off. The view of the eye of terror was gone but why? Issei was something else he needed to be study she wanted to know how he worked.
"I have work to do." She said examining the technology in front of her. She clicked on a thin-screen device. To see it lights up with an image of Issei and another smiling together. Her red hair was so different and yet she smiled with all the joy in the world. She used her logic to guess this was some close to Issei.
"Well, this is interesting." Perturabo said. It looked like she would better understand Issei than she thought today. "Let's see how you devils operate."
Issei stood in the blue-white field letting the wind breeze over him.
He was holding a long stick imitating a sword. The Khan was pasting around him. Watching his stance and movement. Issei would swing a sword keeping a wide base. He remembered all the movements Kiba taught him. Konrad and Lorgar watched from afar, having an eagerness in their eyes.
The Khan could have cared less as she watched Issei swing the stick. In her opinion, Issei was a novice with a blade. The Khan held a stick in her hand. Issei took a swing and stopped his movement when he felt The Khan stick pointed at his neck. Issei stared up at The Khan wondering what she would say. She had watched enough to know that Issei's swordsmanship skills were very outdated.
"What did I do wrong?" He asked. She gave a calm sigh.
"Your stance is lacking in a flare, you're so stiff with your movement. It's like you're holding a giant sword." The Khan said. Issei scratched his head in embarrassment thinking about all the oversized blades he saw.
"Sorry I guess all the people I've watched had this stance.' Issei said. The Khan gave a raised eyebrow.
"These people's style may not be for you, you're throwing too much weight in your swings." The Khan said. "Follow my moves and mimic them to the best of your ability." She then got in her own stance and demonstrated her own swing. Issei watched as the Khan slowly moved her sword and swung her blade gently through the air. Issei had watched as the Khan made her simple steps. In his opinion, she was amazing with a sword. Even though she moved so slowly he could tell each swing of her sword was leading to a grand attack. Her footwork was beyond amazing the way she moved was like a dance, and the steps she took were fast as lighting but gentle like breeze. The Khan had stopped and gazed at Issei.
"Now you try." The Khan said. Issei nodded and practiced the same stance though his attempt was a bit blocky and his footwork was slow. The Khan walked around him studying his every move. When he finished his swing he stopped and looked to the Khan.
"Again, this time think where you step ." She said. Issei did what she told. Issei did the moves again. Though this time he was not better. Though it was only his stance that was better. The Khan's eyes widen Issei was learning to be better. Oddly like her legion.
"Again, think more where your a, use the area to help you move set." She repeated. Issei did as she said. Moving more smoothly. Konrad and Lorgar could see how he improved in little ways. Konrad knew one thing about Issei, you can only use the same trick twice on him before he catches on. Issei would learn and use it to his advantage. Lorgar kept drawing Issei swings his sword, she kept wanting to know more about him, wanting to get more answers. Deep down inside that's all she wanted a truth she could be happy with and Issei was the key to it.
"Again." The Khan said. Issei didn't this time thinking deeply letting his body take control. The Khan watched as Issei almost perfectly imitated the Khan's skills. It only took him a couple of times to get down almost right. The Khan now realized what student she was dealing with. Issei was a fast learner and she needed to be the right teacher for him. Hours passed as the Khan showed Issei all sword techniques holding a blade right away and even showing him to pair the right away. Issei had let himself be a vessel for the Khan lessons. He wanted nothing more than to let her teaching be taught to him. The Khan would sometimes point out a mistake but it would only be one time. If Issei had been on the Khan planet before the emperor appeared, he would have been a mighty general for the Khan.
More hours passed between the two as Issei kept learning how to swing his stick. He was so lost in his mind for a second he thought he wield an actual blade running through the wind. He trained until the moons rose, he was short of breath and drenched in sweat, and yet he still stood. He kept swinging to no end. The Khan wanted to train more but could see how tired Issei was. His spirit was willing but the body needs rest. The Khan raised her hand stopping Issei from his action.
"We have done enough today to go and rest." The Khan said. Issei gave a humble bow to The Khan and walked to Lorgar and Konrad.
"How do you feel?" Konrad asked. Issei gave a tired gasp. "Like I could have done more."
Lorgar walked behind them as they left for the campsite. He wanted a private word with Issei when they got back. The Khan watched as they left, she wanted to spare Issei so badly just to see how he would overcome her. The hearts of the Khan were beaten for that battle. Though he needed a real sword to do that. Either way, a battle shall be waged between them. Issei would learn to fight with the best of them or fall to those phoenix feet. The Khan slowly draws her sword. She started to remember all of Issei's tactics, pretending like he was in front of him, using the very amalgamation of her mind, to practice with Issei. The Khan would find his weakness and rebuild him to be the best he can be.
Konrad, Issei, and Lorgar walked through the woods and to the fortress doors.
"I'll see you tomorrow, sleep well." Konrad said she gave him a quick kiss on the check. Konrad walked through the doors. Issei was about to follow behind but was stopped when Lorgar tapped his shoulder.
"Issei, could I have a word with you?" She asked. Issei nodded and gave a kind smile.
"Of course." Issei said, "What did you want to talk about?"
"Issei about yesterday, I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry for the way I acted, I just wanted to know the truth, that's all." Lorgar said. Issei nodded at her words and gave a small smile. "I am so sorry for what you're going through, it just didn't mean to warp your faith like that." Issei said. Lorgar softly chuckled.
"Warp, I would say, you flipped my whole world on its head but that's beside the point. Issei all wanted to know the truth and now that I found it, I don't like it. I don't know where my place is in this vast existence. That's all I wanted to know, but I think I believe in something else." Lorgar said. Her voice became gentle.
"What is it that you believe?' Issei asked.
"I know it sounds strange but I believe In you." Lorgar said. His eyes widened at the news. He gave a small smile at Lorgar. She watched as Issei boldly reached for her hand. Lorgar held out her pam, Issei but his hand in hers.
"I may not know that much about believing in a god, but I do believe in people, Amazing people like you." Issei said. Lorgar blushed at his words. He gently laid his palm in her hand comforting her. "I think if we believe in each other we don't have to look up for the answers, I think sometimes the answer to who we are and where we are, is inside of us.
Hey, do you like helping people?"
Lorgar was touched by Issei's words but was snapped out of it by his questions.
"Yes Issei, I love helping people!' She answered quickly. He then had a bright smile.
"Hey then you know something about yourself, I don't have all the answers but don't need all of them to be happy." Issei let go of Lorgar's hand and walked into the building. Before he could go inside he gave Lorgar a final message.
"Hey if you ever want to talk about this again, my door is always open, not to mention I think you're a really good person to solve problems and I don't think you need a god to tell you that." Issei said as he walked in the door. Lorgar felt herself falling to her knees crying tears of joy. She found a base to build an answer to the universe. We are men, we make our own truth. Lorgar smiled gratefully at the sky. We do need something to believe so why ourselves? Lorgar slowly stood up from her feet and let out a relieved sigh. She began to tear off the so-called sacred seal of her armor. No more worship, only loyalty to ourselves and to a good cause. Lorgar looked up to see the star out for her to gaze at. Though only one shining beacon of hope entered her mind as Issei's face couldn't get out of the matriarch's head. She pulled out a drawing from her book and gazed at it.
The picture was that of Lorgar and Issei laughing in bed while in a cozy house. Something about a peaceful life with Issei always made sense to her.
"Thank you." She said to herself. Thanking Issei for lifting a weight off her shoulder.
Issei made it to his room and took a look at himself. He was drenched in sweat and tired from a long day. "Oh man, I'm so tired," Issei said. He took off his redshirt noticing how rundown his clothes were getting. Issei gave a long, tired sigh. He heard a knock on the door frame to see Angron gazing at him with loving eyes.
Issei blushed at Angron for she was not wearing her usual entire. She wore that fur clothing that showed all the right parts of her body. While she had that same flower tucked behind her ear. Issei looked up at her eyes to see how alluring she was looking. Angron walked into the room and closed the door behind her. Issei took a nervous gulp. She sat on his bed staring at his hungry eyes. He got on the same bed as her. He felt he should have told the news about him and Konrad. Would Angron even want to be in the harem?
"So Konrad and me-" Angron cut him off with her own answer. "Yes, I know of you and Konrad's relationship, and it does not bother me at all."
Issei had a surprised expression, she was really okay with this. "So your not upset?" He asked.
"Of course not, though I do wish I was the first to confess my love to you." Angron said. Issei blushed at her words. He knew Angron liked him but why.
"Hey, Angron why do you love me?" Issei asked. Angron why he would ask that question, there were battles bonded in her eyes. He had freed her from the butcher's nails. She then realized what was happing Issei's noble and kind nature thought she was taking advantage of her. Though it was a big factor, when so little joy happened in her life she would gladly take hope her way.
"Issei I love you not because you saved me from the nails, No, I love everything about you; you're funny, brave, and noble. Issei you are worthy of love not because you are strong, but because your heart is strong." Angron said. Issei blushed at the comment. She held her hand and gave Issei a loving gaze. "We are bound together in arms, blood, and passion. You pulled me out of my darkest hour, why wouldn't I love you."
Though Angron looked ashamed as she began to think of all the horrible atrocities that she had caused, was she even worthy of his life, was she worthy of his heart? Issei could see the uncertainty in her eyes.
"Hey if you like me, then you shouldn't hold back, I shouldn't either." He said
Issei felt his hand being gently grasped by Angron's hand. He didn't know what to say but his heart was on fire. He took a deep breath. Gave her a kind gaze. They were in love and how could he argue against it? Not to mention the way Angron treated him made him feel special. It wasn't like the constant lewd talking like the others, but gently and lovingly. It was as if he was the most precious thing to her in the world. Issei relaxed and leaned in to tap their heads together. Issei didn't need any words of encouragement for this.
"Angron may you joy me in my harem." Issei asked. She smiled and inched her lips close to his. After all the loss and pain, here are the drops of hope for a better life. Angron found her peace and she would protect at all costs.
"I would be honored." Angron said. She closed the distance between them joining their lips as they were now locked in a passionate kiss. Issei didn't resist at all I think even deepened the kiss by holding Angron's neck. She moaned in the kiss as Issei began to smash his lips more. Angron broke the kiss and gave the one she loved passionate eyes, they glowed with that alluring yellow. Issei's back was pushed to the bed as Angron held his arms down. He had to take some greedy breaths of air. He looked up to see the red angel herself, holding back tears of joy. She was blushing crazy and shaking with excitement.
Angron was having an overload of emotions, she missed such feelings, and all this joy amazed her. She wanted nothing more than to tear her lover's clothes and make mad love to him. But she wouldn't do that without his permission.
"Angron." Issei called out. She gazed down only for her hearts to stop. He was smiling but it was so true and not forced, Issei was smiling in joy. Angron couldn't help but think how beautiful it was. She wanted to see him smile like that every day.
Angron gave him a deep kiss, she moved into the kiss this time and he could feel her tongue slithering into his mouth. Issei's tongue tried to join in but Angron's limber tongue movement had him outclassed. She was in charge and would relish the moments here for as long as she could. Issei may have been losing this battle of passion but he wouldn't go down without a fight. His hand reached to her neck and rubbed the delicate part of her shoulder, he thought that maybe she wasn't used to a massage, and he was right. Angron made a sharp gasp in his mouth. The two had made out for an hour.
Angron finally let go of the kiss as a trail of saliva parted from their lips. Issei took some deep whiffs of air. Angron could see how she won and decided to take part in the spoils of her victory. She looked down at his bare chest having a devilish smile, He looked at Agron realizing what was gonna happen to him. She lends down to his stomach and peppered his chest with a light kiss, she trailed up to suck down on his neck. Issei's eyes widen as Angron was giving him a hickey. Issei held in a moan but she would not have it. Angron bought her face close to Issei's neck going to nibble at his ear. Issei saw it come his way. With one swift action captured her lips giving her a deep kiss. Their hot breaths were steaming between them. Issei knew he was in control and spread his tongue his her mouth, earning a mewl from the warrior. Angron let go and smiled at his lover.
"Defiant till the end, just how I like it." She thought.
She let go of Issei and lay by his side, resting her head on the Nook in his shoulder. Issei looked up at his ceiling and gave a deep gasp.
"That was amazing," Issei said. Angron smiled at his reaction knowing she could please make her happy. Issei turned her head towards Angron.
"Angron I know how long you waited for love, but could we take it slow?" Issei asked. She kissed the top of his forehead and whisper in his ear.
"Issei take all the time you need my love because ill be right here for you." She whispered. He didn't know why but Issei latched his arms around, her neck and cuddled into her. Angron blushed but she smiled back and hugged him mushing her breast against her chest. Issei had fallen asleep. Angron snuggled into him for this was their time. She gazed at her lover's sleeping face. She smiled in joy, she never thought she would be in other arms, but here she was.
All that pain melted away. Her heart was protected by one and she would do the same. She gave a sad chuckle she was no longer a world eater. That shell of her former herself was gone, so who was she now? She took the flower from her ear and set it in the middle of the bed. Her eyes were glued to it, that was Issei's gift to her and it was close to her heart. Angron compared herself to that flower, she couldn't bloom because of all the harsh conditions around her and the flower was slowly dying, with no friends, family, or hope, while the world around her crumbled to dust. Then from the shadows, a kind stranger sees the wilted and sad plant he picks it up and takes that plant to a better place, he cares for it, natures it, and most importantly protects it. She smiled as tears run down her face. Then that flower is able to bloom into something beautiful, and the stranger loves it with all his heart. She smiled as a new name dawned on her.
"The white orchids." Angron loved that name and it was sure to be with her for a long time. before closing her eyes she looks at Issei one more time.
"I wonder what you dream." She said her eyes glowing that same yellow before drifting away in her sleep. "Maybe ill know what a bunny suit is."
Angron awoke in a strange flowery field, its beauty was enchanting. They looked like the flower Issei picked out for her. While the air was like sweet vanilla. The stars shone like gems in the night sky. She thought this was a wonderful place but where was Issei?
"Can I help you?" A voice asked from behind her. She turned around to see a strange man watching her.
"Who are you." Angron asked the strange being.
"Im Que, nice to meet you."
This is this week's chapter, wow this one took a lot of me. So I think choosing the Khan was the better choice for Issei in the long run. The Lion is slightly crazy but the Khan has that stone-cold logic. Lorgar is being to see a better future where one is fully understanding. She needs something to believe so why not herself?
Also to answer some questions. The Lion scares Issei because of her strong leadership aura, remember Issei knelt to the Lion because he showed respect, because he didn't want to find out what happen if he didn't. Also, the reaction fanfic is almost done but having some problems trying to pinpoint good reactions. Also, I was gonna try and work on my other story, so the next chapter might be late. but the good news it's time for that sweet voice-casting time.
