I woke up in Recovery Girl's office, my head felt like shit. I tried to lean up in my bed but had to immediately duck out of the way as a foot came flying in, aiming to take off my head. "He's fine, doc. You can stop worrying about him." Recovery Girl huffed as she was writing away on her computer.

I looked over and saw Rumi had done it, which didn't surprise me. She pulled her foot out of the wall behind me. "Rumi, could you not take Izuku's head off right after he wakes up?"

"What's the fun in that? If he can't dodge out of the way in time, he hasn't been taking my training seriously." I shuddered at the memories of her hell training leading up to the exams.

"Still, he has had a tough day. Let him off easy just ones?"

Rumi sighed, sitting down next to Ryuko. "Fine. But only this once."

"…so what happened?"

"You used your power too much, and fell unconscious. Your classmates have been asking about you since you've been out for a bit over a day now."

I rubbed the back of my neck. "That long huh? I'm… sorry. I didn't mean to make you two or them worry."

Ryuko smiled at me softly. "I know. You did what you thought was right and I can't fault you for that. Just try to be a bit more careful from now on, yeah?"

I sighed, nodding. "I'll try. It's just, when my blood gets boiling, I can't help it sometimes. It's like every fiber of my being is screaming for me to fight whatever tough opponent there is."

"Well, it sounds like Rumi is rubbing off on you too much." She looked over at the rabbit.

"Hey, I… you… he… you suck." Rumi pouted, crossing her arms and turning away from Ryuko and me.

"You're just mad that I'm right." I chuckled, watching the two. "Anyways, have you made any new friends?"

"Yeah. I met this girl."

"Oh, so Izuku's got a girlfriend~," Rumi said.

"N-no. Not a girlfriend. Just a friend who happens to be a girl. She's… really nice and cool."

Ryuko and Rumi seemed to give each other a knowing look. "So what's this girl's name?" Ryuko asked.

"Kaina Tsutsumi, she's-" As if on cue, she walked through the door with a few others from our class. "Uhh…"

"Izuku, dude, you're awake!" Kirishima yelled.

"Yeah. What are you guys doing here?"

"We're here to see how you're doing. We've all been worried about you since you've been unconscious for over a day now," Toru said as her clothes made what seemed to be grand gestures.

I scratched the back of my head. "Well, I just woke up a couple minutes ago. Did I miss anything in class?"

"No, classes have been canceled for the next few days because of the attack," Mina said.

I heard someone cough and saw Rumi looking over my classmates. "Oh, uh, meet the people who have taken care of me for most of my life."

I saw most of them gain stars in their eyes while a few looked nervous seeing Rumi. "Sup, you little shits," Rumi said with a smirk.

"I, uh, can see where Izuku gets his smile…" Kaminari said with an audible gulp.

People began asking a myriad of questions, giving me a headache. But I did smell a couple people waiting outside the door. 'Ugh, I don't have the patience for this.' Pulling the sheets off of me, I got out of my bed, seeing some of the wrapping I had around my arms, chest, tail and legs. 'Great, and then there's this.'

I walked to the door and saw Izumi and most of her little group, Katsumi and Shoka. "Can I help you or are you going to stand outside here all day?"

Izumi looked at me with a look I couldn't really tell what it ment. "No, we were just leaving, Izuku." She walked away from me and down the hall with the other two following.

I watched them walk away before… 'Wait, did she just call me Izuku and not Deku?'

Classes have finally started up again. Aizawa walked in with a bored look. "Okay, everyone, sit down and shut up. Your fight's not over yet."

The Iida twins were about to stand up to shout something but immediately stopped when Aizawa glared at them, using his quirk and they sat back down.

"Now, in two weeks, the sports festival is going to occur. You all have the next two weeks off to train and prepare yourselves."

Uraraka raised her hand. "Sir, isn't it dangerous to have the sports festival so soon after being attacked by villains?"

"Yeah, what if we get attacked by villains again?"

"The higher ups said that this will show that we aren't going to back down. We're also going to have increased security compared to previous years. Now, on with class."

——

It was time for lunch and I could smell a hoard of people outside. I opened the door and saw them all. "Move."

A purple haired guy moved his way to the front of the pack. "I heard you're the guy who saved your class from a villain attack. Eh, I'm not impressed."

I began to smirk. "You wanna see how I fought those villains? I promise you won't be walking away after."

I could smell the fear in him but he did a good job of hiding it. "Tch, are all of you hero course students cocky idiots?"

"Are all of you general course students stuck up assholes who don't know what they're talking about?" I pushed my way past him, only to have some guy who smelled like iron stand in front of me. "What now?"

"In Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu from class 1-B! I came to say that just because you survived an attack from the villains doesn't mean your better than us!"

I rolled my eyes and pushed my way through the crowd. 'I just want to eat some fucking lunch! Is that so damn hard to ask?!'

It was time for the sports festival. Sitting in the waiting room, I was minding my own business, when I heard someone walking up to me. I looked over and saw Shoto staring at me. "Deku, you're gonna lose to me."

"Whatever." I closed my eyes and leaned my head back. I began to think back to my training. I had told mom that I wasn't going to go with her on mama Rumi for the internships since there wasn't anything that I could learn from them.

It made them a bit sad but they understood. Normally, I would join them but I need to get stronger.

"Can all classes please report to your representative arena entrances?"

I got up as my class was walking out. 'Let's get this shit going.' I felt a smile reach onto my face.
