"What? Why not?" Izumi looked like she couldn't understand why I wouldn't take it.

I just shrugged my shoulders. "I don't need its power. I have everything I need to be a hero already within me. You'll get more use out of it than I will."

Izumi looked down. "If… *sigh* if that's what you want."

I began to get curious about her reason. "Is this an attempt at trying to get me to forgive you?"

"N-no, not at all. It's just… One for All as it is. I can only use about twenty percent of its power before it starts hurting me. But if you had it, I'm sure you could use a hundred percent of it right away."

"Well then keep it." Izumi began to look even more confused. "Keep training with it until you fully control it. Then we can see just who the strongest is. You with all of One for All or me with my full strength."

Izumi smiled a bit and nodded. "Okay, Izuku. But don't you go slacking on your training."

"Tch, like I ever would. You need to step up your training if you ever hope to catch up."

Izumi walked out, leaving the door open as Kaina then filled the empty space. "Hey, what were you two talking about?"

"Oh, she wanted to talk about a few things from her family. Nothing super important. So what's up?"

"Oh, I wanted to spend some time with you, alone, just you and me~." She closed the door behind her and slowly walked up to me.

——

Everyone was in class, Aizawa walking up to the podium in the front. "Alright, today all of you will be choosing hero names." Everyone began to get excited. "But remember, this is a serious matter. If you don't take this seriously…"

The door to the classroom shot open. "There'll be hell to pay!" Midnight walked in, in her hero outfit.

"Midnight here will be helping you all pick your hero names. Just keep it down." Aizawa grabbed his sleeping bag and sat down in the corner, going to sleep.

Midnight handed out whiteboards to everyone and they all began to write out their hero names on it. Izuku stared at his board, thinking about what he wanted to call himself. 'Ugh, this is so much harder than I thought. Come on, think. A hero name… hero name…'

Students began presenting names as Izuku continued to think to himself about his hero name. Until he saw Kaina standing at the front of the room, pulling him away from his thoughts.

"I'm going to be Lady Nagant."

"Oh, I like it! It fits you so well, Tsutsumi!" Midnight said. She went back to her seat, leaving only a few others that haven't gone yet. Midnight looked around the room, looking for who was going next. "Izuku, you haven't gone, are you ready to present?"

Izuku took a deep breath and nodded. "Yes ma'am." He stepped up to the podium, looking at his hero name for a second before turning the whiteboard over to the others. "I'm going to be… the true storm dragon, Veldora."

——

Everyone decided on their hero names. Well, everyone except for Katsuki. He couldn't come up with anything that wasn't king explosion murder or lord explosion murder.

Midnight had left and Aizawa was back up front. "Alright, now that that's over, you'll all be participating in internships. Heroes were watching you perform in the sports festival and decided to either ask for you to work under them or not."

He pressed a button and a screen appeared behind him with a list of names with numbers next to them. I saw my name near the bottom with only seven requests while Kaina sat near the top with over four thousand requests.

"The numbers are usually more varied. Those who didn't get any requests will be given a list of fourty names of heroes who work closely with UA." Everyone had their lists handed out and I began read through the names on my list.

I smiled when I saw mom and mama Rumi both put in requests but then I saw a name that I didn't really expect to see. 'Why would he want me?'

Not seeing any other names I would really consider worth going with, I decided to go with him, figuring that he was my best way of getting stronger. 'Alright, let's see what you've got for me, Nighteye.'

I looked over and saw Izumi looking at her paper, nervous and shaking. 'Who the heck could have requested her for that to happen?'

"Hey Izuku." I looked back, hearing Kaina. "Who are you going with?"

"Oh, I got a request from Nighteye. The others I got a request from aren't really ones I'd consider… good heroes. Not including Ryukyu and Miruko, obviously. What about you?"

"Eh, I haven't decided yet. Four thousand is a lot of people." She lifted up her stack of papers.

"Heh, yeah. That's, uh, a lot. You want some help going through them?" She nodded and I began to go through the huge list of names she had, with her.

——

Everyone was at the train station, waiting to head to our heroes that were going to train us. Kaina ended up choosing Ryukyu. I didn't know who Izumi chose but she was acting a lot more nervous than I ever saw her.

When the time came for us to head to our trains, Kaina gave me a goodbye kiss, making me wish I had gone with mom. When I got to my train, I saw someone who seemed slightly off. He was a tall, muscular boy with a smile on his video game character like face.

He saw me and waved me over. "Hey, you're Izuku, right?"

"Uh, yeah. Who are you?"

"Names Mirio Togata! I'm here to take you to Sir!"

I just stared at him. "Right. Well, let's go then." I got on the train, Togata following.

Kaina POV

I had just given Izuku a goodbye kiss to make him miss me more. After, I headed to my train and I noticed Izumi was headed the same way. She seemed really nervous. "Hey, what are you so nervous about?"

"Huh? Oh… it's just… the person I'm training under… scares me."

'Hm, wonder who she's going with.' We both got on the same train. 'Huh, we must have heroes close to each other. Wonder who it is.'

The whole train ride, Izumi just sat silently, not even trying to talk with me. She was probably nervous that she'd piss me off or something.

When I finally arrived at my station, Izumi ended up following me off the train too. 'Wow, our agencies must be really close. Unless…' Izuku had told me that Ryukyu wanted me to go to her home instead of her agency which are close to each other.

It just didn't seem like Izumi was going anywhere else.

Izumi POV

I was following the directions I was given to get there but the whole way, Tsutsumi was going the same way. I didn't get to think about it much since we were getting close to where I needed to go.

I thought Tsutsumi and I would part ways but we didn't. We both walked up to Miruko's place, I thought I would be training under Miruko with her until the door opened and I saw Ryukyu. "O-Oh, sorry. I must have gone to the wrong place."

"If you're here to train with Rumi, then come in, Yagi. She's waiting for you in the training room." She pointed to a door and I nervously made my way over.

Tsutsumi POV

"So why did you pick me, Tsutsumi?"

"Oh, I figured you were the best hero to go with for a few reasons. Not many heroes can reach being the ninth top hero and you've always seemed really reliable when being a hero. Plus your Izuku's mom."

Ryukyu raised an eyebrow at that. "His mom? I never adopted him. Why would you think that?"

"Well Izuku calls you his mom so I just figured."

Ryukyu seemed to smile at that. "Hehe, well, this is the first I'm hearing of it. Now let's get you training then. We have a lot of work to do."

——

Izuku POV

We had finally arrived at Nighteye's agency. Walking in and up the stairs towards his office. I opened the door and saw him sitting at his desk in the dark. "Sir Nighteye?"

He looked over at me. "So, you're Izuku." He got up and walked over to me. He stood slightly taller than me as he looked at me with his piercing eyes.

"Yeah. So when do we get started?"

He looked over at Mirio. "Take him to the gym and spar with him. I want to see how he'll do." Mirio smiled and nodded.

I was led back down stairs to a huge room. Mirio stood across from me. "Alright, Sir wants to see how well you fight so don't hold back!"

I began cracking my knuckles. "Oh trust me, I won't."

Mirio seemed to sink into the ground, surprising me. 'Some sort of warp quirk maybe? But if that were true, he'd immediately be at the place he wanted to go.'

I listened around, trying to figure out where he was coming out from. Suddenly, right in front of me, Mirio began coming out of the ground, going to punch me.

I dodged his punch, going to hit him back but my hand passed right through him. 'Some sort of intangibility quirk maybe? Then what's the trigger?'

I kept dodging Mirio every time he came out of the ground to punch me. It wasn't very difficult since mama Rumi was way faster during our sparring sessions.

The one thing I noticed was his irregular breathing patterns. Whenever he was under, he was holding his breath but when he came back up, he was breathing again. "So you hold your breath to use your quirk, huh?"

"Hah, you figured that out fast!"

I began to smile. "Well how about we make that harder." I began to release the heat in my body. The temperature in the room began to rapidly increase and began to thin out the air around us.

Mirio began to move even slower and was slower to enter the ground again. I decided to stop dodging since his punches didn't effect me much.

Eventually, he was on the ground, out of breath and sweating. "So is this my win, then?"

Nighteye walked in. "Hm I suppose this is."

I looked over at him. "So the man who can see into the future didn't see this outcome?"

He pushed his glasses up. "I wanted to see this outcome for myself." He looked over at Mirio. "Go take a break. I think it's time for some training."

Mirio got up and nodded before smiling at me. "Heh, it was a fun fight. Maybe we can have a rematch without the heat thing!"

"Uh yeah. Maybe." He walked out of the room and Nighteye walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Now let's get started." His eyes turned purple.

No one POV

Izumi was trying to hit Miruko, who was dodging every hit Izumi threw and kicked her away. "Come on! You can do better than that!"

Izumi was exhausted. She had weights strapped all over her body constantly slowing her down as she was using One for All. "This… *pant*…"

"Don't you think about tapping out yet!" Miruko kicked Izumi in the chest, pushing her back. Izumi collapsed to the ground, out of breath. Miruko walked up and looked down at her. "Alright, let's take a break." She handed Izumi a water bottle. "We need to seriously work on your stamina, kid."

"*pant* Yeah…" Izumi began drinking the water. She couldn't even pull herself up. "Y-yeah…"

Kaina was on patrol with Ryukyu. The two were walking the streets looking for any sign of danger. "So, are you two dating yet?" Ryukyu asked.

"Hm? Me and Izuku?" Ryukyu nodded. "Yeah. He's so adorable sometimes."

Ryukyu smiled at the girl before suddenly taking a more serious expression. She looked at an alleyway and motioned for Kaina to follow behind.
