Janna: Sup, everyone? I'm Janna Ordonia from Star vs. The Forces of Evil. You know, the show that this fanfiction's based on, and the one that Disney refuses to give any Disney Chibi shorts to? Well, you're probably wondering why there's no chapter for the story. Well, it's a funny story.
Slick Goku: Hey, yo, Janna! Hurry it up, girl. We have to get a move on if we want to stop him before he does any more damage.
Janna: On it, Slick. Well, Jay was working on the next chapter when he got this notification on YouTube about a live-action sequel to The Fairly Odd Parents coming to Paramount+ next month, and well...
*RJ Writing Ink stares at his laptop, having watched the cringe-as-Hell trailer for the unwanted Fairly Odd Parents sequel. Then he gets this angry, deranged look on his face.*
DAU Kermit: Uhhh, Jay?
Janna: And the next thing we know, he's headed down to Nickelodeon Studios to have a talk with the executives about how when to use nostalgia properly or something like that.
Slick Goku: Janna Banana, you know damn well he's going there to stomp the shit out of whoever came up with that horrible idea of a show!
Janna: Yeah, yeah, Slick. Look, the point is, Jay couldn't get the chapter ready in time, so he's pushing it back another week. We're really sorry for all of that, but right now, we gotta stop Jay from doing something crazy.
Kermit: GUYS, HE FOUND A MECH SUIT! WE GOTTA HURRY!
Janna: Oh, I am not going to miss this! Well, see you next week or something!
Hey, guys. In all seriousness, due to having other stuff going on in my life right now, I could not get the chapter ready. So I'm taking an extra week off to allow myself the time needed to give you the story you deserve and so I can write the next few chapters ahead of time. I have tried to keep to my weekly release schedule since I started this series, so I hope you forgive me.
And, in light of the recent Russian Invasion of the Ukraine, and the world being thrown into a frenzy, it doesn't seem appropriate to publish this right now. Next week.
Also, I wasn't kidding about the live-action sequel to The Fairly Odd Parents. It needs to be stopped.
