So many things happened for the boys in the start of February.

Dean for starters, passed his high school exit exam. All day sitting in an tiny desk in the corner of Mr. Matthews' office was totally worth it because Dean was out of there and he didn't need to even think about looking back. No more classes, no more teachers, no more… Kelly really. Safe to say, Dean was handling this break up a lot more easier than he had handled it the last time they broke up. She kept her word and never bothered him again and he didn't really give a fuck if she tried to come around again or not. He planned on telling her the same thing every time: piss off.

However, Dean's new dilemma was figuring out what to do now. Bobby sure as well wasn't going to just let him lie around the house all day tinkering with whatever busy work he could find down in the salvage yard. No sir, Bobby made that boy go into town and find a job. Dean found himself the newest cashier at the car parts supply store in town. Dean was excited because he knew cars about as well as he did hunting and Bobby was excited for the kid. And the employee discounts he could steal from Dean. John, on the other hand, wasn't very happy. He looked forward to having at least one of his kids join him again on the road but he understood Dean's reasoning for staying.

And then there was Sam. Finally getting back to his normal. Everyone at school had moved on from Brooke. The 'rest in peace' posters hanging on the wall outside her old locker were taken down and replaced with a small bench in the quad. Sam could finally try to start fresh again and decided this time to just stay in his new lane as long as possible. Sam was better off on his own anyway, especially now that Dean was staying and that they were back to being in a good place.

But, now that Dean had his job, Bobby decided it was Sam's turn to try to find some sort of hobby for himself to focus on for the remainder of the school year. The second semester had just started and new clubs and classes were being offered. Sam had never had this freedom before and he just couldn't decide what to pick. He could be an athlete. He could be an artist. He could continue down his brand of being a nerd. Sam was thrown off by this new opportunity being thrown at him to do something for him for once and he didn't know what to do. So he closed his eyes and pointed to a random poster on the bulletin board at school and his finger landed on a flyer looking for students interested in this year's production of Our Town.

Yes, our boys were busy with new adventures awaiting.
