Ey, sup. homies? The reason for my late update was that I'm currently rewriting this fic. So, yes. a lot of things are going to change, some are going to remain the same. So... I won't be able to update again until I finish rewriting all the published chapters. It gonna take...One to two months at the very least. But I'm not sure as Rewriting is easier than Writing.
Anyhow, a celebration is in order as my current fic broke through 100 fav and 100 follows.
This is Godfire. signing off for now.

As he does so, he felt like he had tasted something fishy — No pun intended— The unusual taste lingered for a few seconds before disappearing. 'Isn't this the... ' Icarus pondered deeply for a moment then grinned.
Oh, boy. The voyage won't be boring at all.
Icarus smirked before heading to his cabin.
Few days later
Hm~
Creak~
Icarus laid on the bed in the cabin room as the ship swayed to and fro. He listened as the waves crashed against the ship causing it to wobble and tremble.
He sighed as he felt Hypnos(1) luring him into his domain. The swaying motion of the Ship and the waves crashing against it were like a lullaby to his ears. He saw it as the perfect chance to sleep.
But even though, he closed his eyes to sleep, a last thought flashed in his mind like a comet shooting through the night.
'The sea smell's starting to get stronger...'
When Icarus woke up, he heard horrifying screams of the passengers in the ship.
Although his mind was still foggy because he just woke up, he didn't waste any time. He immediately wore his shoes, shirt and picked up his cloak—Its more like a cape to be honest, like the cape's of the knights in the Round Table, Idk man— and high tailed out of the cabin.
When he got out of the cabin and head straight to the commanding cabin(?) he glimpsed the dark cloudy sky. He paused for a moment because when he had gone to sleep, it was 1 Am in the afternoon. And Icarus knew that he didn't sleep for more than 3 hours, that's his biological clock. He can't sleep for more than three hours without waking up.
Nonetheless, Icarus knew that something's wrong.
As he was running toward the commander's controlling cabin, he ran into the captain of the ship himself.
"Sir! Is something wrong?!" Immediately he inquired what's going on. He had to shout because the waves crashing into each other and the waves crashing into the ship generated a loud noise.
The captain responded with urgency. " A Sea monster is attacking our vessels!"
A sea mon— Da fuq is wrong with this world?!
Damn.
"Where is it?!..and who is behind the Steering if you're here?!"
The captain replied. "Left Port! It's my assistant who's controlling the vessel!"
Immediately after he heard that, Icarus left the captain and headed toward the direction of the left port (A/N: I really don't know what it is(-_-;)・・・)
When Icarus got there, the only thing that greeted him was destroyed ships. Numberous of them at that, the sea water was painted red like someone poured a huge amount of food colouring liquid.
An a unexplainable chill fell on him, he shivered. T-this...
Then...A huge, loud shriek entered his ears. He brought his hands to block the sound but its no use.
Finally, after what seems like eternity, the shrieking bated.
Icarus turned around to look what caused the loud shrieking, as he turned. Icarus saw something that brought terror in his soul.
He raised his head and he sees, high above, a monster, a creature of the ocean and the sea peering down at him, its eyes ice-blue and hauntingly knowing, a cold, implacable judgment in its gaze that is reserved for gods and death itself.
A Kraken.
A motherfucking fucking goddamn Kraken was staring right into his soul as one of it's tentacles trashed and destroyed ships left and right.
'Fucking hell! Did someone offend some higher Being? '
As soon as the massive Kraken sets it's eyes on him, it shrieked and raised two massive tentacles above the water. Then...With an incomprehensible speed to an average human, it's two tentacles were already on him.
Icarus compressed a giant ball of air and blasted the tentacles away. The tentacles were blasted away but...
Icarus noticed that there were not even a scratch on them. Seeing this Icarus frowned.
Icarus stepped on the rail/Port? and slowly started to float. He floated up and landed on top of the ship.
'This...'
Without waiting for the sea monster to attack again, Icarus already launched another spell.
Machia Hecatic Graea!
Just like the Christian God had said 'Let the be light!' Icarus has done the same.
But...This one is the Rain of light.
Like missiles or bloodhounds, The Rain of light shoot it's light towards the kraken with unmatchable speed!
The Kraken tried to defend itself but...
All the Lights attacked the Monster which resulted in a huge explosion. Sea water splashing about as the ship swayed with the waves.
When the waves settled down, Icarus was shocked to notice that the Kraken hasn't died yet. His heart leaped to his throat as he felt dread pool in his stomach. A nervous sweat broke on top of his forehead. One had to know that if we're going by RPGs standards then Icarus would have been a Mage(Or magi) Strong Magical powers and Weak physical strength, though it's debatable if his physical strength is really that weak. In order to build muscles one had to have hormones, Icarus started entering puberty a year ago. So, it really isn't his fault that his strength isn't 'groundbreaking'.
What Icarus doesn't know is that all heroes that have 'groundbreaking'' strength are demi gods. Normal humans can't have that much strength in their preteens.
Nonetheless, the monster is wounded alright. Few tentacles were severed from their original place as inky black blood were dripping in the ocean like a waterfall, mixing with the human red blood made the ocean color be dark red. Some haunting shit he may say. But the wounds are not fatal which is the statement to it's magic resistance abilities because the spell he just used was enough to one shot almost all Phantasmal species in Greece.
He chuckled. "We're in trouble, aren't we?"
Icarus already noticed that the Kraken has a Magic Resistance, which..is a shock in and of itself. Not all Phantasmal species have magic resistance.
Icarus already gave up. He doesn't want to spend more of his mana in a useless endeavour. What's the use of attacking it if all his spells aren't going to work?
Well, if he continues to fire more magical abilities it's going to die sooner than later but was he certain? A Kraken can't reveal itself just to destroy some few ships, something's wrong. A Kraken is a big deal in Greece, where there's a Kraken, destruction follow up. And even then, it's rare for a Kraken to destroy ships when it's in the domain of Poseidon. Poseidon himself lock all Krakens so they don't pluck the Mortal world in chaos.
Sigh~
It would seem he would've to use 'that' magic spell.
Icarus stood on top of the ship as harsh wind blow his robes and hair. With his right hand, he tucked the locks that were obscuring his vision.
With that, his eyes glowed with cruel green eyes as he sneered at the sea monster. 'Humph, how pathetic can I be? I was literally trained by the goddess of Magic herself. Little beasts like this scare me? tsk.'
Icarus released his entire mana. It caused the wind to blow hard as it whistled and whispered, the waves creating something like an echo or a whirlpool with the ship at its center. The darkening sky brighten like a second sun had just been born.
A massive magic circle lit up in the sky, intervened and interlocked. Like clogs in a clock that work well together to create something more than what individually it was. Another similar magic circle lit up around the massive Kraken. The air thicken as it was super charged with magic, a sense of doom spread to all around the area. Icarus can, faintly, hear the crew mates and the passengers feverly praying to their respective Gods for protection.
"Humph."
For a moment, Icarus, who was standing on top of the ship felt like a God looking down on all things below him.
Magic, the fundamental laws of the universe. In Nasuverse, people there even compare a True Magician with a Age Of the God's peak human. What does this mean? It means that a peak human in the Age Of the God's is as strong as a True Magician. And if Icarus remember right, a True Magician can handle his or her own against a TYPE. And Icarus is the Strongest Human of them all, even the strongest Caster than Circe...well it's not determined yet but he believes he is, even Hecate believe so.
Icarus doesn't want to be proud or arrogant but his strength easily allow him to.
Sigh~
Slowly, Icarus opened his arms. Not in the T-pose of domination but In a way that he seems like he's conducting an a Orchestra. And to the world, he declared!
"Let the world experience it's first Twilight!"
And thus Icarus whispered three words, only three that left anyone in the ship traumatized. Three words that, although he whispered them, there were heard by all.
"Promithéas tis kivotoú"
