Before the adventure, Gooey was able to grab some essential items. He grabbed a blanket and some cookies and stuffed them inside a bag. He also put Pick's phone in there just in case.

Cloudy Park was a long way away from home, so Gooey had to borrow a Warp Star in order to get there quicker. Of course, landing the Warp Star was always the hard part. Once it hit the ground, Gooey and his siblings flew towards the mountain's base and landed on the dirt beneath them.

"Ugh..." Gooey was dazed for a second, but he quickly sat up and looked at his siblings. "Everyone OK?"

The trio seemed even more dazed, but Rimuru was the first to start floating. Likewise, the other two began to do the same thing. Rimuro even grabbed the bag that Gooey dropped.

As the name suggested, Cloudy Park was indeed cloudy. The mountains were bathed in an orange hue, despite the fact that it was still the middle of the day. Some of the rocks buried in this mountain looked bright and colorful, kind of like clay.

But of course, the treasure here had to be even more bright and colorful. If it wasn't a Rainbow Drop, it had to be something else. It might not even be a gem, it could just be a powerful weapon that was hidden for centuries. Whatever it was, it had to be worth something!

"All right, let's go!" Gooey said as he lead the group towards the mountain's top. "Try to stay with me if it gets too cloudy, OK?"

All three Dark Matter flew closer to Gooey. Despite being cloud-like themselves, they were thankfully easy to tell apart from the actual clouds. As the group moved on, they could see all kinds of creatures thrive on this mountain. Most of them were birds, but there were plenty of boars here as well. Some of them were playing games with each other, it actually looked kind of fun.

...No, Gooey needed to focus. He kept climbing along the mountain while his siblings continued to follow him. Even they were curious about the treasure, which was yet another reason to find it.

The group must've been at it for a while now, but after reaching the half-way point, Gooey decided it was time to rest for a bit.

"OK," Gooey said as he sat down on a flat rock. "You guys have fun, I gotta stop for now."

He watched as his three siblings explored the area. As much as he would've loved to explore with them, he was exhausted. He had to wonder if Kirby or Brother ever felt the same with Gooey around, but then again they didn't have three younger siblings to watch after.

Rimura and Rimuro were bouncing on some nearby clouds, it was amusing to see how much energy these two still had. They didn't even have fins, yet they still acted like any young Dark Matter would.

Something landed on top of Gooey. when he looked up, he could see that Rimuru decided to rest with him.

"You tired, too?" Gooey asked. He didn't seem to be as tired as Gooey was, but Gooey couldn't help but wonder if this was a form of mimicry. Either way, he didn't mind the company.

It didn't take long for Rimura and Rimuro to join them. They curled up against Gooey as they started watching the clouds fly by...which was pretty easy to do on this mountain, they weren't even close to the sky yet.

Yep, with a bit more rest the group should be ready to climb again soon.

...

...

...Just now, Gooey could feel someone's anger, nearby. He feel a chill run through his body. His siblings could feel it, too, they turned their attention towards something hidden in the clouds...Actually, there were two things.

Gooey couldn't quite tell who it was at first, but there was a blob here accompanied by a light. Said light was in the shape of a butterfly. As for the other person, it took Gooey a moment to realize that he had spines coming out of his back.

"Hey!"

The blob hissed at Gooey before he disappeared into the clouds, the butterfly followed not far behind him. After what happened in Iceberg, of course Brother would still be angry, so of course he would still hate Gooey.

All three siblings looked at Gooey with concern, they could feel the hatred just as much as Gooey could.

"I-I'm fine," Gooey said quietly. "We'll just...leave him alone."

At some point, Gooey would have to face his brother again. And at some point, he would have to tell Brother who he is. But for now, unless Brother did something stupid, it was best to leave him be.

He couldn't help but wonder why Brother was here in the first place, though? Maybe it was just a coincidence? Or maybe there was something more to it? Either way, it was best to leave him alone for now.

The higher the group climbed, the more clouds obstructed their view. Gooey couldn't see anything aside from what was in front of him. Of course, this was how it was like during his other adventures with Kirby.

He could sense how nervous his siblings were to be up here, they stayed together as if the clouds themselves would find a way to divide them.

Just a little bit further, and they would find the treasure. Once the group left the clouds, they managed to find some kind of lake. Just like the rest of Cloudy Park, the lake itself shimmered with an orange hue. It was as if the water itself came from Orange Ocean, despite such a place being far away from here.

But there wasn't any treasure here, not that Gooey could see anyway. But before Gooey could think, Rimuru threw themself into the water without thinking.

"Wha- HEY!" Gooey yelled in frustration as he chased after the sibling. Although there was a faint amount of dark energy here, there weren't many other things in here aside from a few fish and frogs. But of course, there was nothing else here that he could see.

Gooey grabbed Rimuru with his tongue as he brought them up to the surface. He gently placed them down with the others.

"Dun do that, OK?" Gooey asked. "You dunno what's gonna jump out and eat you."

Granted, the trio would probably be fine, but it was still a disturbing thought to have. Regardless, it might still be a good spot to have a picnic here. He placed the blanket down and placed the cookies in the middle of it. Once the picnic was set up, the trio began to relax. Rimura even started to absorb a couple of cookies.

As the trio settled down, Gooey pulled out Pick's phone and started to call Rick.

"Hey, Gooey. How's the treasure hunt going?"

"Well...first we ran into Brother," Gooey told him. "All he did was hiss at me, though."

"Well that was nice of him," Rick said sarcastically. "Maybe he's gone after the treasure, himself?"

"No, I dun think so," Gooey replied. "I can sense something in the lake, but I dun think Brother was interested in it."

"So do you think that might be the treasure?" Rick asked curiously. Gooey nodded, even though the hamster couldn't see him. "Rimuru tried to jump in, so I'll have to see if something's in there later."

"Alright, well take care of yourself."

"You too," Gooey said as he hung up the phone. He couldn't help but stare at the lake again. He couldn't help but wonder what was hidden down there, and unfortunately for him, there was only one way to find out...
