Jaina Proudmoore has a lot to tell home in her letters.

About her progress...and how her next-door neighbor who is troubled in magic classes due to being born 'too strong' that during training, she comes back to the dorms looking like she walked through an explosion and her uniform in tatters she constantly gets new ones every day!

But she was a nice girl and they became fast friends.

Lady Frankland was also unlike any noble she met who put on snooty snobby airs of self-importance.

Well, her family were Rank 7 Knights for two generations that Knights are still commoners in the eyes of nobles that other than manners and etiquette expected of nobles, Sierra was genuine and sincerely kind and amiable as one. Jaina had no worries of having to be on guard when usually, her peers would try to trick her into embarrassing herself during parties that she had to be constantly on guard for the sake of House Proudmoore.

But one day when their first year ended, Sierra went to Lordaeron as her brothers asked her for help as they don't want to bring trouble home.

Said trouble being fiancees who are worth less than they're worth as nobles and being gentry-born may be all they've got but nothing else, and the Frankland's standards of marriage is...interesting.

Normally for most nobles and even royals, that's a fantasy. But politics and benefits always come first for nobles.

Sierra was to sort out pearls in a pig trough so her brothers can marry well.

As a wealthy family of Upper Rank 5 Counts, most fathers will do all means to pimp their daughters out to Zachary Frankland, a man who would inherit a very wealthy fiefdom worth a million gold annually. Daughters of Counts and Viscounts are working hard to impress her eldest brother.

Richter Frankland wasn't even looked at by these ambitious gold diggers. Due to law of Primogeniture, to prevent conflict, younger brothers must leave home when coming of age and give up their succession rights in exchange for Monetary Settlement.

It was what was agreed on since they were all kids and they're all fine with it as their upbringing was different from that of a typical noble.

So he's going to become a commoner when he's age 20. So he has less trouble with...women. He can marry anyone he wanted while Zachary had...limited choices as did Sierra due to laws of mages that she too, will marry a commoner one day unless there are other nobles who became mages. So upon graduation, he can never come home to Frankland Fiefdom, and he already has a good house still in the works built in Strahnbrad. Quite a ways away from home when Sierra explained.

Jaina was amazed as normally, fathers of nobility will never do that for their younger sons. Building them a house plus monetary settlement?! Many non-heirs would kill to be Richter Frankland!

Lordaeron...

'Quite the Graduation Ball you got here~' said Sierra, clad in a fancy gown and hairstyle...while still having her staff. While her dress was gorgeous by Earth Standards, it was in a design that shouts 'I'm not available' to single men looking for brides.

'And I'm not enjoying one bit.' Zachary complained to her. 'Sure I was happy to graduate 8th in our year in terms of grades, but...well...ugggh...' he moped as he drank wine. 'For now father's dealing with the vultures, placating them, but we need your help. Fast.'

'Yes yes...I'll read the people in this room.' and Sierra's eyes glowed.

They know who's who among Counts, Viscounts and Barons. A Count can only choose ladies from these three social classes. While a daughter of a Count can marry up into the marquee or if lucky enough, into a dukedom!

But what she found in some, are concerning.

'Big brother...I'm glad you asked me for help now.' Sierra said grimly. 'I will give father a long report on my findings. Oh don't worry, I found you a nice lady...while seeing horrors in other heads.' she said that got Zachary worried now. 'Take me to your dorm room. Your stuff should be there right, since tomorrow is departure day? I need all papers you've got left.'

'Eh?'

Late at night...

What's supposed to be a good calming time after a joyful occasion, got the King furious as he read the reports given to him, even guides to where incriminating proof can be found!

All this was gained, because young lord asked his little sister for bride-search help just to not bring home a bad egg!

He glanced at Sierra who was kneeling with her disturbed father and brother who were pale-faced from what the girl's got.

'This is all of them?'

'Yes sire. If we let this go unchecked...we're in deep trouble.' Sierra reported with a shudder. 'I think since time is on their side as they decide when and where to strike, we should put holy magic barriers in our cemeteries or find a way to purify souls and let them move on so they will not be disrespected by evil magic. We'll have to ask Kirin Tor about that if they have countermeasures. As of now things are still in experimental stages but prevention is better than cure because in this case, there is no cure.'

'Mm. We will draft a letter to Kirin Tor and you must hand it to Archmage Antonidas who in turn will hand it to the Council of Six.' King Terenas sighed. 'Once we have a secure communication for plans...' his expression turned into carved wood of fury. '...we will eradicate these foul-doers once and for all. You've done humanity a great service, Lady Frankland. On behalf of humanity, we are grateful.' he said in genuine gratefulness.

'This one is honored, your majesty.' Sierra bowed further.

'Now then, we wait.' said King Terenas as he began writing a long letter into a scroll. 'For now, act as if nothing happened. Once things goes well...prepare for the Purge. Lord Frankland, prepare your army.' Terenas told Zachary. 'You'll be the first to prepare your men for what's to come. It'll take time for others as things must be planned out carefully.'

'Yes, your majesty!'

In ten minutes, King Terenas gave Sierra a scroll for her to take home to Dalaran.

'Come on son, we need to equip our militia well.' said Steven. 'We'll have to buy a lot of Mithril, Imbued Gunpowder and Dragonhide for leather armor.'

'...Mithril huh? Frankland Domain certainly isn't hurting for money.' said the King's Butler.

'They worked quite hard to be able to pull that off.' said King Terenas. 'Other than our own forces, only three nobles can afford Mithril and Dragonhide Leather for their armies, and Imbued Gunpowder for their Riflemen. But not many can afford Truesilver. Only those with great merit, can have the right to wear one due to how expensive it is, while the wealthy can afford to buy it for themselves.'

The Franklands would amass a lot of Truesilver to Khaz Modan who in turn will process it all based on order requests. Due to this, commissions is 50-50 between the fiefdom and the kingdom, and 15% sales tax from both sides which goes to the Menethil Family. So the two parties get 35% commission in the end while the Menethils gets 30% total. All in all, 100% even.

Next day...after breakfast, Sierra made a beeline for Antonidas' Office.

'Sir Antonidas? It's Frankland.'

'Come in.' Sierra made sure the King's Seal is within Antonidas' sight in the scroll she holds before coming in and indeed, his eyes fell on what she holds. '...what's that?'

'Grim tidings...and we found this out by dumb luck, all because my brother wanted help in finding a good lady to marry, not a harpy during Graduation Ball so I was at the party last night...' said Sierra, giving the deadpan old man the scroll. Antonidas snorted at her words but alas, the world of the nobles isn't so easy! 'His majesty has to know what else I saw and he wasn't too happy and he hopes for secure communications as well as counter-research, before executions are to be planned.'

'Very well. I'll look into this first before Kirin Tor discusses this.' Antonidas told her. 'You may go.' Sierra politely dismissed herself, before Antonidas removed the seal on the scroll...

Twenty minutes later of reading and comprehending the hastily-written scroll as through Sympathy he could sense the King's feelings in the letter, he was livid. His face turned as purple as his robes. "Damn that man...this was what he was doing after leaving Kirin Tor?! Blast him!" and he has a lot to talk about with his superiors now!

He asked for an urgent audience with the Council of Six before they open it for discussion with the Kirin Tor as they have no way of knowing who is an inside man or with man.

This, was big trouble!

In the meantime, a student's worry, is studies and training. This stuff was to be left to many higher-ups. Sierra knows that as she is now, she's useless.

That was frustrating, until she at least, gains enough control.

As time goes by...

Sierra blossoms into a beauty as at age 13, she was remarked to be very feminine. It shows in her looks and figure. For one who's 13, she already has breasts when most girls her age are flat.

She was a good mage in her studies, but not in practice. To have some control, some, she has to figure the perfect amount of mana per spell to be 'just right, but still strong', as 'too strong = BOOM'. It usually takes over fifty tries to get things 'just right'. She was not allowed to practice during classes...she has to do it every after school in wide open space-the area given to her because money don't rain forever and they can't keep repairing the Citadel forever because of her!

During Meal Times, people are starting to notice her unusually-good looks. The Senior students tried using Dispel just to make sure nobody's being charmed. No such spell was in use.

The concept of femininity was so...so...foreign to humans of Azeroth. That even a plain jane in Earth, is beautiful to them here.

But when her beauty was legit and not a result of Charm Magic, she was the envy of most girls in the tiny academy of Violet Citadel.

One reason they can't resent her was because she wasn't perfect and snobby. She comes home looking like the victim of an explosion and she was a genuinely nice girl. And she never flirts with boys.

Rather, oblivious to puberty and interests of men. She was clearly a tunnel-vision workaholic, only speaking when spoken to.

She's totally clueless!

Summer, age 13...Frankland Territory...

Its time for Zachary Frankland's wedding to Claire Bradford, daughter of Count Bradford with his 1st concubine. Count Bradford tried to endorse his legal daughter Bianca to him but NOPE! Claire or he ain't marrying! Nada!

So Count Bradford had to relent, or lose ties to a wealthy family that has plenty of resources!

But when it came to politicking, he needed help to defend against this scumbag as politics isn't exactly part of Knighthood Lessons. Sierra gives her brother information and its up to him to wield it as his weapon that he escaped being scammed into lifelong deals that are not fair. Zachary was annoyed he had a scumbag for a father-in-law but it's Claire or no deal. He managed to flowery-talk his way out on his own merits while taking dark satisfaction that Count Bradford will realize he gets a pittance from him beyond 'what's polite during weddings'.

Their wedding gifts to the bride's family and groom's family are two separate things and considering they are both Counts, the gifts must match.

The Groom's Gifts to the Bride's Family must equal her Bride Price in terms of items. Family Friends of the bride's father's family must give courtesy gifts equal to her worth.

Then the gifts to the Groom's Family must equal his prestige in terms of items. Family Friends of the groom's father's family, same rules apply. Thus its more expensive to gift Count Frankland.

That, and Countess Bradford and Lady Bradford were annoyed that 'a mere mistress' daughter was chosen over a proper lady'!

Bitch, they have their own standards of what a proper lady should be!

Claire was the girl he set his sights on, on his sister's find. The problem was she lived in a bitchy household that she was denied education and training of a Lady but that's stuff they can fix. Thus he married her and it's a happy wedding. Long banquet tables of gorgeous Earth Cuisine lined up the tables. Two Families and family friends attended the event. Thank goodness for a large number of guest rooms in the manor on the Second Floor...

However, as parties are a way to observe each other, behaviors are checked by vulture-eyed guests who enjoyed supreme hospitality from Count Frankland.

Because first impressions last.

One thing they noted is that while Count Bradford's legal daughter is dressed to the nines, her half-sister in comparison, was plain everything on her big day! Plain wedding dress and clearly cheap jewelry! What the hell? It seems they have to rethink about ties with this family?

But still, Claire Frankland lucked out now with her husband. The mansion is brand new with decor money can buy! The food here is incredibly delicious! The Servants are impeccable in three ways befitting their jobs! And she is treated well by her husband and wholly welcomed by the family kindly! And the new Countess Frankland...clearly has no idea how to respond well to being 'treated nicely'?

Hmmm! Something's going on here with that family...come to think of it, its their first time seeing Claire Frankland when in social galas, only Bianca was seen.

After the party and everyone went home by sundown with their bodyguards...

'Haaah...today was tiring.' Zachary gasped out. 'Today is my first big party as Count Frankland and soon, I'll be attending stuff father used to.' he said with a weary sigh, but grinning like a fool because he got himself the sweetest deal. He was with his family in his father's office. And his father's retainers with their families so its quite the crowd.

'Yes, you'll be doing just that, so you need to study my past records of meetings and my impressions of all nobles...though thanks to Sierra, I had to review all I know...that all I know, were basically dogshit.' he griped.

'I guess we Knights are too naive and still naive even after we became Counts...that we were our honest selves while nobles wore masks. We will study what she got so that you will not be caught with your pants down like I was.' he told Zachary. 'I guess I navigated by all these years due to the mercy of the Light because I lived a virtuous life. I'm not bragging, but everyone knows my character well.' Steven chuckled. 'Be virtuous, and the Light will not forsake you, my son.'

'Yes father.' Zachary nodded.

'Now then, tomorrow is the day we will officially welcome our new Countess Frankland.' Steven told the families, making Claire blush hard. 'Just as how Zachary and his Retainers will learn the ropes from us old men, so will Claire from mother-in-law. Sierra, have you gotten anything?' Steven asked his daughter.

'We impressed way too well that we sort of implanted deep insecurity.' Sierra chuckled. 'In the next coming days, applicants hoping to apply as a servant in our household will come to spy on the family. If unable to spy on us, gain information in Frankland Territory.'

Her clan's expressions darkened.

'Then we'll just get rid of them and make it look like accident.' Richter smirked. 'Nobody can question that, right? Filthy politicks put us out here in dangerous boonies after all that death by monster is pretty much the norm. Not only that, our people know each other that its easy to recognize outsiders.'

'Leave that to us, young master.' said Jefferson. 'We will handle the disposing to protect the family.'

'Thanks guys.' said Zachary. 'Us youngsters will be very busy in the coming days before our first social networking. Anything else Sierra?'

'Let's just say today's wedding party left a lasting impression on the Bradford Family...and not in a good way that other guests are starting to rethink their relations with the family.' Sierra wore a mischievous smile. 'But we impressed them so much. But they are also worried that sister-in-law has no idea how to be treated with basic human decency, speaking volumes.'

'...I didn't exactly have a good life at home.' said Claire softly. 'Father has mistresses and they tend to anger legal mother so much that bullying and abusing them is always overlooked. Father don't even care what happens as long as he can still use them as his dolls before getting rid of them.' she said glumly to the horror of the Franklands.

'Mother died from falling down the stairs and I know I'd never get courtesy beyond an out-of-the-way funeral with an unmarked tomb for mother. And daughter I may be, but I was basically my sister's abused slave and we're the same age, just a week apart. I know housework more than being about the lady I should be.'

'Don't worry dear, we are nothing of the sort.' Zachary reassured his wife. 'I had Sierra help me out because I didn't want a woman like that to bring home. A woman like Lady Bianca for a wife and your father tried to insist I marry her? May the Light show mercy on the dumb fool dumb enough to fall for a false rose, only to get pricked for the rest of his life!' he shivered.

'And us Franklands never take concubines either, that's just asking for trouble. We built that reputation early on.' he reassured her. 'Concubinage, is highly looked-down upon in our territory with the sole exception if first wife is barren. But if still no progress, it's man who is problem, that he is the one who is actually barren.'

Sierra took Claire's hand, and Reinforced her skin so that her uneven skin tone will be evened out and she'd become fair, and rough skin becoming soft and smooth. She didn't even need Structural Analysis to figure her condition out. She then went full power on Claire's femininity, memory, and food digesting speed that is three times faster than normal so that she would 'change to heal' the more she eats and be capable of eating more.

'Big brother, I'll have the kitchens prepare specific meals for her for at least three years.' Sierra told him. 'She is malnourished. Violet Citadel taught us students the value of eating for life when one is sick and eating for a robust body because mages are also strong in body. She'll recover in three years.' she promised him.

'She'll be eating for two every two hours during that time before having a child or she won't survive labor as she is now and first child will be feeble. We will start with soft foods and medicinal soups this year because her stomach is weak, unused to eating normally. Her organs are weak. Next year will be vegetables and beans.'

'Alright. I leave it to you.' Sierra then left the room. She was in charge of Claire's food for three years.

Citrus Fruit Juice at a large mug. Thick Wholegrain Bread with Liver Pate-a thick dollop of it spread. Polenta Sierra-Style to avoid too much salt in it, then four poached eggs with tomato sauce and Pumpkin Soup with Carrots and baked Sweet Potatoes for lunch. Then at night, plenty of Chicken Feet prepared with spices and a bowl of savory oatmeal! This is her food every mealtimes to heal from years of ordeal in Bradford Estate! Then Claire is to spend twenty minutes a day sunbathing in private at a certain hour without men seeing her so lady servants must keep a lookout at all times during this time, before her lessons for the rest of the day.

Those are the rules. Sierra will check every year. The path to health, is difficult!

'Why chicken feet?!'

'Research says blah blah blah...' Sierra told her family the value of chicken feet. Her family's eyebrows went all the way up!

...who'd say no to better skin and bones?!

'How did your brother's wedding go?' Jaina asked Sierra who came back home weary, and showed up for breakfast just as weary.

'While the party is good, a lot of people spotted red flags about the Bradford Family. Especially when compared to two sisters. Claire is horribly mistreated and on her big day her wedding dress and jewelry has absolutely no effort in it, angering my family on her behalf due to this blatant mistreatment down to her marriage, while the favored daughter Bianca was so well-dressed one would think she's a duchess' daughter.' said Sierra dryly.

'It made many people reconsider their ties with the Bradfords regarding business and relationships that whoever's dumb enough to marry Lady Bianca is one unlucky bastard among Ranks 4, 5 and 6 nobles if they fell for that false rose, but not seeing thorns beneath. In short, they'll be ostracized on the sly. For to know a family, look at how they treat each other first.'

'My god...a marriage is a girl's big day, once in her life and her family did that?!' Jaina was horrified.

'Yes...not only that,' Sierra told Jaina what they found out. Jaina can only shake her head in dismay. Her friend supports her family through intelligence gathering to defend against being tricked and trapped by dirty schemes.

Maybe once she graduates, she should do that for her father too...unlike nobles and royals, she has the power to choose her husband as long as they have mana.

She dreamed of a certain prince. Siiigggh...
