Searching for Enemies Hideout and Themselves

Jotaro is looking closely at what appears to be an old building that probably use to be a shop of a small restaurant due to the size, then a Beowulf growls at the boy from behind though he paid no attention as the black wolf monster strongly pounce at the boy with its claws and fangs about to pierce him.

However, the attack never came to him because Star Platinum stop the Beowulf by using the Star Finger attack pierce through the mouth to the back of its head, with a yell of "ORA" his Stand slashes the head in half killing the wolf monster in one shot.

"Damn these fucking pests, they just won't stop attacking, do they?" Jotaro asked, annoy of these Grimms.

"That's how they are, especially with being drawn to negative emotions." Blake answered.

Ruby comes in fast slicing through one more Beowulf of the small area they're in and there appears to be no more of them around at the moment.

"Excellent work, girls and Jotaro! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any signs of criminal operations in this sector. Oh, well! Moving on!" Oobleck ordered and blitz past them on the next area.

"That man sure work fast, doesn't he?" Kimi asked.

"Guess being the speedy teacher makes him go, go, go for the grading papers." Yang punned causing most to groan.

"Why can't you ever take things seriously?" Weiss sighed.

"I'm always serious on many things, and my puns are one of them." Yang said proudly.

Everyone follow where Oobleck went seeing him looking and seems to be examining the ruins around them.

"Hey, Doc, y'know, I was actually looking forward to seeing a "pro Huntsman" in action. Like, fighting, or at least, helping us fight?" Yang wondered.

"He is doing something. He's looking at the ruins and see if there is something out of the ordinary, not every action is all fighting and hero acts." Jotaro pointed out walking past Yang.

"Well done, couldn't have said it better myself, Jotaro." Oobleck nodded and looks at team RWBY.

"Sometimes it's just a heightened form of extermination! Remember, this is a job, and you all signed up for it. I do hope you understand that." Oobleck said.

"Uh, y-yeah. Of course." Yang said, a little stutter to answer.

Kimi notice this as she walks past Yang giving her the thought of she and perhaps the other members of team RWBY are also having trouble of what becoming a Huntress really means, almost like what it means to go into battles like she and her former 3-Plum classmates were in.

"Jojo, it looks like Yang is starting to see the bigger picture." Kimi whispered to Jotaro in the ear.

"Yare yare daze, guess coming here might be what these girls need a big wake up call." Jotaro sighed.

"Come now, you're making it sound they're still kids." Kimi giggled.

"Because they are, we're just more mature." Jotaro stated.

"Depends on how mature you think we are." Kimi slapped Jotaro's manly butt making him flinch and glares at her, but she isn't fazed and skips away.

"You're damn lucky I love you." Jotaro muttered following Kimi from behind.

The group starts looking around more of the ruined city until a few minutes later they decided to split up for a while to try covering more grounds, Oobleck went with Yang in one area.

"Tell me, Yang: Why did you choose this line of work?" Oobleck asked curious.

"Well, to fight monsters and save-" But Kimi cuts in interrupting Yang's sentence.

"He's talking about your reason, silly. Not about what all other Hunters do." Kimi clarified the question as she walks past Yang and Oobleck.

"Yes, what she said. The honest reason as to why you want to be a Huntress." Oobleck said looking straight at Yang.

"The honest reason? I'm a thrill-seeker. I want to travel around the world and get wrapped up in as many crazy adventures as I can. And if I help people along the way, then that's even better. It's a win-win, y'know?" Yang explained her reason.

"Hmm, I see." Oobleck said.

"(So, she's a thrill seeker. Figured as much, but she may have to expand her horizon.)" Kimi thought smiled.

Kimi looks up at the sky thought of that certain word and remember the girl who was at the center of her biggest adventure in her life, and now she is going to experience another one with Jotaro who was also from another world and together in this world that is crazy and fun at the same.

"(I hope you and my foolish brother are having a good time, Horizon.)" Kimi thought smiled.

(With Weiss)

Weiss is fighting off two Beowulves while Oobleck is watching her skills and power in action sitting on top of a broken building and writing in his journal.

"And you, Miss Schnee? A girl born into fame and fortune such as yourself certainly doesn't need the extra work. So... why choose this over a cushy job in Atlas?" Oobleck asked the heiress.

Weiss impales the last Beowulf taking a breather for a second or two before looking to Oobleck to answer his question.

"It's exactly as you said: I'm a Schnee. I have a legacy of honor to uphold. Once I realized I was capable of fighting, there was no longer a question of what I would do with my life. It was my duty." Weiss answered of her reason.

"Interesting." Oobleck nodded.

Jotaro also happens to be in the area as well, having to listen of Weiss's reason before walking away.

"I think it's more about wanting to prove yourself than your family and such." Jotaro said to himself.

Jotaro starts to remember all the days he was back in his old world when it comes to family like the Joestar bloodline and fighting off some crazy foes, he wonders how his daughter and her friends are doing right now.

"I hope Jolyne put that Pucci down to Hell." Jotaro said to himself.

(With Blake)

Blake saw a door thinking there could be something inside and slashes the door down only to see a flock of small Nevermores flew out, she quickly backflip a few feet and changed her weapon into gun mode to shoot them all down in sight.

"And what about you, Blake? You seem to carry yourself with a sense of purpose." Oobleck asked after jumping into the scene.

"There's too much wrong in this world to just stand by and do nothing. Inequality, corruption... Someone has to stop it." Blake believed.

"Very well. How?" Oobleck asked.

"Uh…" Blake tried to come up with an answer, but nothing came into mind and that left her with confusion of how exactly she is going to stop all what she said as she realizes that she hadn't thought about it much.

This gave Oobleck the expression that Blake hadn't thought that far, then he dashes away to meet up with Ruby.

(With Ruby)

Ruby is having a little fun time with a turkey stuck by the pointy end of her Crescent Rose and holding it up Zwei to try catching it, hoping so cute until Kimi and Jotaro came up to her along with Oobleck seeing the scene.

"Ruby, where did you get the turkey?" Jotaro asked.

"Oh, huh, I packed it in my backpack along with Zwei." Ruby answered and quickly held her weapon behind her back.

"Are you intending to share that turkey for dinner?" Kimi asked in a teasing tone.

"Of course, I would never leave my friends starving like crazy." Ruby answered honestly.

"Good, then you won't mind if hold onto this." Jotaro said having Star Platinum take the turkey from Ruby who giggles nervously.

"Uh... Are we ready to keep going?" Ruby asked.

"Nope! I believe that will have to do for today. It's going to be dark soon." Oobleck tossed his bag to his behind and kick it away to Yang who caught it, he turns to her also seeing Blake and Weiss.

"You three, set up camp in that building. Oh, and please do make sure there are no more of those... creatures. Your leader, team JK, and I are going to secure the perimeter. Come, you three." Oobleck ordered before walking away.

Jotaro, Kimi, and Ruby follow the teacher as they do one last look around to see if there is anything in this ruined city, and when they reach the very edge of the ruined city then Ruby spotted something outside of the city that seems so cool.

"What is that? It looks awesome!" Ruby asked pointing at the giant black elephant in the distance.

"Goodness, it's like the circus has come to town." Kimi commented.

"They're stupid, the clowns aren't even funny." Jotaro said.

"That's my young students, is a Grimm." Oobleck answered.

"Let's kill it!" Ruby smirked as she aimed her Crescent Rose sniper mode aiming right at the elephant Grimm, but Jotaro pushes it to the side.

"Hold it, that Grimm looks too strong for your bullets to do anything than just make it felt like air is hitting it." Jotaro stated.

"I'm afraid Jotaro is right, best to leave it be." Oobleck vouched for Jotaro's claim.

"But... What if it attacks us?" Ruby asked worry.

"I don't think that's going to be a problem with this one." Kimi said.

"Correct, those Goliaths are not concerned with us. Ruby, not every Grimm is mindless, or rather not every Grimm is still mindless. You see, the Grimm you see before you are so powerful, so superior to the Grimm you fought, that they've undoubtedly lived hundreds of years, and in that time between killing humans and attacking our borders, they have done one important thing: They've learned. They've learned that when they attack our borders, they're likely to die, and what we lack in strength, we make up for in will, and that killing one human will only bring more." Oobleck explained.

"I believe that is to be the case if the entire world were to help each other instead of all this fighting like the race difference." Kimi stated.

"Yeah, everyone is being all fucked up." Jotaro nodded.

"Swear!" Ruby scolded as she pointed her finger at Jotaro.

"I'm calling it as I see it." Jotaro shrugged.

"But I don't entirely disagree with you, everyone in the world knows of how much of a threat these yet there are many other things such as the people themselves such as the bad guys we fight to keep them from harming anyone else." Oobleck said looking a little sad.

"One of these days, a new history will be created for everyone to come together to fight the common enemy." Oobleck hoped for that day to come.

"That is something I'm looking forward to seeing this." Kimi smiled.

"But what about the Grimms? Why are they still so close to the city? What are they doing?" Ruby asked.

"Waiting." Oobleck answered.

"It's like Oobleck says, these Grimms have the ability to learn and waiting for the moment to strike." Jotaro reminded her.

The Goliath turns its head to the city before walking again with the rest of the pack, Ruby saw this and put away her weapon.

"Doctor Oobleck?" Ruby said getting the teacher's attention.

"I was wondering…" Ruby paused for a second of the question she wanted to ask.

"Wondering why I've been interrogating your teammates all day?" Oobleck guessed as the leader must be curious about his questioning.

"A-Actually, I was wondering... Why did you want to become a Huntsman?" Ruby asked, revealing her true question.

"My, my, not caring about your teammates is a big no, no. For shame." Kimi mocked as she turns around and crossing her arms under her breasts.

"No, no, no, I do care for my team! I do, I was just curious about why some Hunters would choose to be become what they are today?" Ruby assured.

"Kidding, I knew you are too kindhearted." Kimi revealed her act.

"Hey! That wasn't very nice!" Ruby pouted.

"Ruby, JK, look around and tell me what you see." Oobleck spread his arms toward all the ruins around them.

The three students look around to see all the broken down and old buildings though Ruby was confused of what the history teacher was going with, but Jotaro and Kimi seem to get the idea upon looking at the ruined city that was once filled with life and happiness.

"Lives, sir. Lives that could have been saved if the people were more prepared for the worst." Kimi answered.

"Exactly." Oobleck nodded and walking around a bit.

"As a Huntsman, it is my job to protect the people, and although I am capable of doing it with traditional weaponry, I believe I can make a much larger impact if I do it with my mind. As a teacher, I'm able to take knowledge, the most powerful weapon of them all, and place it in the hands of every student that passes through my classroom. I look at this wasteland, and I see lives that could have been saved, but I also see an opportunity; an opportunity to study these ruins and learn from this tragedy, and therefore become stronger." Oobleck believed strongly.

Oobleck stood silence for a second or two before turning around to Ruby to give his final answer to her question.

"I am a Huntsman, Ruby, because there is nothing else in this world I would rather be." Oobleck stated before walking away.

"If the teach won't ask you, I might as well." Jotaro said and turned to Ruby.

"Is becoming a Huntress is all you ever want to be, what you want your future to be?" Jotaro asked.

Ruby look at Jotaro for a moment doing a little thinking and remembering all of why she admire the Huntress including how her mom was one, a strong smile forms on her face and look back at Jotaro.

"Of course, being a Huntress is about helping the world in any way I can whether it's fighting Grimm or other jobs. I'll be a Huntress who can bring Happy Ending the world!" Ruby determined so strong that the speech made Jotaro step back a foot.

"Not bad, you definitely got the making of a hero." Jotaro smiled before walking away.

"Oh, your powerful soul is so cute!" Kimi squealed happily as she hugs Ruby with her face onto the large bosoms. Ruby struggles to get out of the hug.

(Later)

WBY found one building they decided to use a base for them to sleep and regroup throughout the week mission, they already had the fire ready to keep them warm at night.

"I can't believe we didn't find anything..." Yang groaned, she was hoping to find the bad guys and beat them up.

"We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. I guess we can't always have luck on our side." Blake stated, feeling a little sad of this as well.

"That's not what I meant." Weiss said, not on the same subject her two teammates were talking about.

"Huh?" Blake confused.

"Earlier, about... upholding the legacy. There's more to it than that." Weiss said, talking about the question Oobleck asked her earlier. Yang and Blake were able to understand this.

"Yeah... No, me too. I mean... I don't know." Yang conflicted on how to think about this.

"I don't know, either. I know what I want to do, but I figured I'd always take things one step at a time." Blake stated, now thought about doing something else.

"Well, it doesn't matter. We know why we're here. Right?" Yang asked.

But none of them answer as they just stare at each other in silence until Jotaro and the others came in.

"Ah, wonderful; a textbook campfire!" Oobleck impressed with how resources the girls are.

"Fire!" Ruby smiled and zoomed close to the fire warming with Zwei close to her and feeling the warmth of the fire.

"Very good! Eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow, and we'll need you to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode. Any volunteers for first watch?" Oobleck asked for a volunteer.

"Yo!" Ruby raised her hand as Zwei barks.

"I'll be joining her as well." Kimi volunteered to help Ruby with the lookout job.

"Hey, Ruby?" Yang walked up to her just as Ruby was about to take her position.

"Did Oobleck ask you why you wanted to be a Huntress? I mean... what did you tell him?" Yang asked.

"No, Oobleck didn't ask me, but Jotaro did, and I told him about how I feel about Huntress like how I told Blake when we first met her that night." Ruby explained before walking away.

Yang look surprise as she turns to see Jotaro sitting close to the fire and onto his sleeping bag, then a smile is formed onto her face as she walks up to him.
