Luna POV

Since a few days now, we have been in the New World. The way to get here was anything but easy. When we arrived on Fishmen Island we were separated. At the beginning everything seemed to go peacefully until there was a fight with the new Fishmen Pirates. Luffy, of course, had to choose the leader of this crew as his opponent and unfortunately had to take quite a beating.

Even though it was more than difficult for me, I let him fight alone against this Hody Jones. As much as I would have liked to prevent him from getting hurt again, I had to let him make his own experiences. Besides, the two years of training shouldn't have been in vain if I didn't let him fight now. I knew I wouldn't always be able to protect Luffy, but the presence of Jinbei made it easier to let him fight the way he wanted to without my help, because I knew I could count on Jinbei in an emergency. It was good to see him again.

When we were on our way to the New World after a huge party, my little brother suddenly asked Jinbei if he wanted to join his crew. Jinbei didn't refuse, but he didn't say yes right away either. He still had things to do before he could join my brother. Just the thought that Jinbei would eventually join Luffy's crew was reassuring. Because the day I will leave the Sunny will come sooner or later. But since I still don't trust any of his current crew members, it would be very reassuring to know that Jinbei would always keep an eye on my little troublemaker.

Sadly, there was also a bigger problem. Unfortunately, my brother had to come up with the stupid idea of directly messing with one of the Four Emperors. Messing with Big Mom before you'd even reached the New World was a stupid move. Especially considering how small Luffy's crew was. Big Mom was cruel, even to her own children when they made mistakes. The bad thing about the fact was that it didn't even really surprise me. It was just a typical Luffy thing. I could understand why he did it but still not the best idea of him.

Currently we were heading for an island called Punk Hazard. Luffy could not be stopped from sailing there after an emergency call came in via the den-den-mushi. This island was not marked on any map. I knew the reason for this and also knew that not even people from the marines or the world government were allowed to be there. So what was going on on this island? "What's wrong with you, you're so thoughtful? You better be happy, there's about to be an adventure!" said Luffy who was standing next to me. "Adventure? Considering you attract chaos more than any other person I know, I have a feeling it's going to end in another fight. This island is a restricted area and normally no one should be there," I explained to him.

"W.. What do you mean?" came anxiously from the long-nose. "Quite simply not even members of the World Government or the Marines are allowed on this island." "What?" cried Chopper. "But there is someone on the island," came from my brother. "We should turn back, it could be a trap," said Nami, but Luffy remained stubborn. He wanted to go to the island. "Now do something! We can't go to this island," the navigator hissed at me. "And what do you want me to do? By now you should know that Luffy is stubborn and that once he sets his mind to something, he follows through. What can possibly happen? Sure, it's strange that there are people on the island, but that's no reason not to sail there. I will intervene in case of emergency and protect my brother," I said.

Luffy POV

"You see Nami, Luna will protect us." I grinned. "Luffy you yes, I don't really care about the others!" said Luna looking at me seriously. With that I knew she would really only protect me. "There you see. She'd let us die cold!" yelled Nami. "In your case, I'd even like to help out myself!" said Luna, grinning challengingly at Nami. But before Nami could say anything in reply, Luna had already disappeared in the direction of her cabin.

Unfortunately, the relationship between Nami and Luna had not improved one bit. On the contrary, it got worse and I noticed that Luna withdrew to her cabin more and more often. The others thought she was doing this because she simply didn't want to have anything to do with them, but I knew that Luna was doing this in order not to lose control. How I knew this I don't really know myself but it was just a feeling and normally I am never wrong to trust my feelings.

The others looked at me eagerly. "Sanji make us some lunch boxes," I said to ease the tension after Luna's statement. "What the fuck?" then Nami yelled at me. "What?" I just tried to pretend I didn't know what she meant. "Don't you want to do something about that bitch? She's threatening me here and you do nothing!" she shouted again.

Bitch? Why did she say that? Luna is not a bitch! Why can't Nami try to understand that Luna won't tell her anything about herself? Why does she have to keep pestering Luna with her questions? That's the real problem, isn't it? Luna would never hurt my crew. I'm sure of that!

"Nami calm down!" said Robin. "It's not an easy situation for him either!" she continued. "What do you want me to do?" I asked. I was well aware that I had to do something but what? "I just don't want Luna to look for her crew alone. It's my fault she's not with them now." I began and paused for a moment. "Do you think it's easy for me to see that my sister doesn't trust any of you and I have no idea how to change that?" I asked the others. "Luffy it's not about trust. It's about her openly threatening Nami and you not saying anything about it." said Robin calmly. "Luna would never actually do that!" I shouted.

Robin POV

The current situation was not easy for any of us. Even though I can understand Nami demanding that Luffy should do something, she also overlooked something. Namely, the fact that Luffy was caught between both fronts and was obviously having a hard time dealing with it all.

It was very noticeable, at least to me, that Luffy didn't want to say or do anything that would lead to his sister leaving the Sunny and looking for her crew alone. He had told us after the incident where she killed that guy that Luna was thinking of leaving us as soon as we reached the New World. At the same time he had told us that he didn't want that and asked us to try to gain her trust.

He had feelings of guilt, that was clear. For me, that was one of the reasons why he didn't say anything against his sister when Nami and she clashed. Although the threat on Luna's part was not at all okay, I also noticed that Nami still didn't stop constantly asking Luna questions. Especially what powers she possessed or whose crew she belonged to.

Both were important information, but you couldn't force someone to reveal it if they didn't want to. I had a vague guess as to whose crew she belonged to, but kept it to myself so as not to make the whole situation worse.

"Just stop bugging her and she'll leave you alone!" Zorro suddenly said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Are you insane? Now it's my fault?" Nami yelled at him. "You're the only one Luna reacts so extremely to. Maybe Zorro is right," Franky said.

"It seems there are a few of you who use their brains properly," suddenly came from Luna. Apparently she had changed her clothes and was now standing next to her brother again. "Luna..." Luffy started but stopped. My gaze fell on Nami, who could be seen to be on the verge of getting worked up again about Luna's comment. In order not to let the mood boil up again, I decided to ask the following question as a distraction: "Who are the ones who accompanied Luffy to the island?"
