Chapter 8: Into the Fire Pt 1

Ray, Jen and their friends were confronting a couple of Choten goons at the docks. Ray and Jen had already summoned Bob and Weave while Gabe and Gargle were building something. The Choten goons were controlling a Dune Gecko known as a Snaptongue Lizard. As Ray, Jen, Bob and Weave charged towards the goons, one of the goons motioned his arms and the Snaptongue breathed a flamethrower at them. Ray and Jen quickly blocked the fire with their mana shields.

"Okay. Now tighten that and put that there." Gabe said as he and Gargle were making their weapon. "We shouldn't have done this. Master Chavez never authorized us-" "Essence Elf! It was your idea to leave the mall and follow the stupid man in the first place!" Allie said as she summoned Essence Elf. But as Essence Elf sprouted for battle, Snaptongue slammed its tail on her, making her disappear. "Hey! Not cool!" Allie exclaimed. Ray motioned his arm and Bob lashed his chain, wrapping it around the Snaptongue. Jen motioned her arms and Weave extended his arms, grabbing the chained Snaptongue. Both creatures pulled it down to the ground. "Now!" Ray called. As Terry and Greta motioned their arms, Terradragon and Om Nom Nom pounced onto the Snaptongue, holding it down. "Quickly! While it's pinned down!" Sakura exclaimed. Grove Protector, Citizen Tokori and Haven's Elite rushed over and prepared to attack. "Come on! Get up and fight!" The goon exclaimed. As the Snaptongue recovered, it managed to throw Terradragon and Om Nom Nom off of it. Unfortunately, they each landed on Grove Protector, Citizen Tokori and Haven's Elite, making them disappear.

"You gotta admit, Gabe was right though, Allie." Ray said. "Yeah, if we hadn't followed that guy, we never would've found these Choten goons." Jen said. "And we have the evidence to prove it." Ray said. Just then, they were struck by another fire attack. "Focus, Ray!" Bob exclaimed. "Yeah! We're still in the fight here!" Weave exclaimed. "Sorry. A little help, guys!" Ray called. "Gargle, you ready to bring the pain?" Gabe asked as he and Gargle were finishing their weapon. "Gargle bring pain? Gargle only bring Gargle. Gargle make the pain." Gargle said.

"Steam Star Grapplog!" Allie called, summoning Steamy. "Flush him out, Steamy!" But as Steamy prepared to fight, the Snaptongue snatched him with its tongue and burned him bad, making him disappear. Allie groaned in frustration at losing her second creature. "Eye of the Tide!" Portia called, summoning Eye of the Tide. "Kenina, the Ignitor!" Maribel called, summoning Kenina. "Give him a real headache, Eye!" Portia called. "And we'll aid you." Maribel said. But as Eye and Kenina prepared to fight, Snaptongue struck them with its tail, making them both disappear. "Oh, man!" Portia groaned. "We're gonna need more training with quicker dodging." Maribel said.

Snaptongue breathed another fire attack at Bob and Weave. Bob grabbed a van to defend himself while Weave doused the attack with a water jet. Just then, Ray turned his attention to the goons as the one controlling the Snaptongue was preparing another attack. "Gabe! The goons!" He called. Gabe and Gargle readied their weapon and fired fire extinguishers like torpedoes at the goons, knocking them out. "All together now!" Ray called. Jen motioned her hands and Weave fired a powerful jet of water at the Snaptongue. Terry motioned his hands and Terradragon struck it with his tail. Greta motioned her hands and Om Nom Nom belched a huge fireball at it. And finally, Bob struck it with the van hard enough for it to start disappearing. Allie ran over and chuckled at their victory. Suddenly, the Snaptongue was about to grab her with its tongue. "Allie, look out!" Jen cried as she leapt off Weave's shoulder to help Allie. But they both got grabbed and disappeared with the Snaptongue. Everyone was shocked by what happened.

Meanwhile, the Snaptongue Lizard was returned to where it was summoned from, a slave transport cart in the Fire Civilization. Its master, a Drakkon known as Blastforge Slavetrader, and his partner, a Darkness Chimera called Gigazanda, turned in shock as Snaptongue reappeared in front of their cart. "If the slaves ever learn that vanishing trick, I'll lose all my merchandise and we will all starve." Slavetrader said. Just then, Snaptongue presented Jen and Allie out of his mouth. "For me?" Slavetrader asked in surprise. "Ew! Lizard spit!" Allie groaned as she and Jen started to slowly recover from the trip. "Put that on the list of things I never want to do again." Jen groaned. "But what are they? Where are they from?" Slavetrader asked, petting Snaptongue before inspecting the girls by poking them. "Too hairy for Water. Too dull for Light." "Ow! Hey, no poking!" Allie exclaimed, slapping Slavetrader's hand. But as she and Jen stood up, they gasped when they saw where they were. "This must be…the Fire Civilization." Jen guessed. "Uh, Mr.…Thing? We're human, see, and we really need to get home." Allie said. Slavetrader scoffed. "Humans are myth. Maybe a sort of…Snow Sprites? Hehe. Make snow." He said. Allie and Jen did nothing. "Okay. Deficient Snow Sprites. Too bad." Slavetrader said. Gigazanda walked up to Allie and Jen, picked them up and threw them in the cart. It hooked the cart back onto Snaptongue, climbed aboard the cart as Slavetrader mounted Snaptongue, and they all headed off. "Don't matter. Never seen nothing quite like you. Soft, no horns, no armor. But quite tender." Slavetrader said as Jen and Allie tried to activate their gauntlets. But they were too low on mana. "Probably make tasty morsels for Lord Skycrusher's table. I should make a tiny sum off you…morsels." Slavetrader said. Jen and Allie gasped at that.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Ray and his group reported the news to the Masters. "We have rules for a reason. And this is one reason for our rule that you not touch the creatures!" Nigel scolded. Ray glared while getting fed up by this rule. "It grabbed them, Nigel, and they're in grave danger. Let's focus on how to get them back." Hector said. The Masters each took a look at the Snaptongue Lizard's tablet. "It seems the question is where to start the rescue process." Kimora said. "I have maps covering most of the Fire Realm. Hector, you've been there. You can check their accuracy." Nadia said. "YOU'RE GOING TO DO RESEARCH?! WE NEED TO GO OVER THERE NOW!" Ray snapped, scaring most of the kids. Even Janet knew her son was right. "The Fire Realm is vast and deadly. One doesn't just go over there." Jaha said. "Trying to rescue Jennifer and Allison without any idea of where they are or a plan is courting disaster. I will summon my Stalker Spheres." Nigel said. "And I, my Spies of Darkness." Jaha added. Ray growled before walking away with his friends following. Hector, Nadia, Kimora and Janet watched as they left, knowing what they were planning.

Ray, Gabe, Terry, Greta, Portia, Maribel and the Kazamas exited through the back and ran into the forest, where Bob and Weave were waiting. "Your sister and female friend won't last long. Return me and I'll find them. If there's anything left to find." Bob said. "I sure hope there's something to find. I won't be able to forgive myself if something happens to Jen." Weave said. "Then let's go." Ray said. "We're with you, Ray." Greta said. "For Jen and Allie." Portia said. "Not this time! You and Jen got into the fight with those Choten goons, and now you're going to do something even more foolish?! The Masters know the Kaiju Realm, Ray. They'll figure it out." Gabe said. "I'm afraid it'll take too long for us to figure it out." Hector's voice said. Everyone turned to see him, Nadia, Kimora and Janet walking up to them. "You're right, Ray. Jen and Allie need help now and you kids are the only ones who can do anything about it for the moment." Kimora said. "We will cover for you while you go look for Jennifer and Allison." Nadia said. "Thank you, Master." Ray said. Janet knelt down and placed her hands on Ray's shoulders. "Bring your sister home." She said. "I will." Ray said, giving his mother a quick hug. As Janet backed up, Ray turned to Bob and motioned his hand. Bob started to vanish. Ray grabbed Gabe's arm as everyone quickly touched Bob. "RAY!" Gabe cried as they all disappeared with Bob.

Later, they reappeared in the Fire Realm. "So, this is the Fire Civilization. Whew! Hotter than I thought." Weave said, already drying out from the heat. "Bob, you said you can find them, right?" Ray asked. Bob sniffed the air. "This way." He said, catching the correct scent. Ray, Greta and Terry got on Bob's back while Weave hoisted Portia, Maribel and the Kazamas onto his shoulders. Ray held out a hand for Gabe, who just stood in place, glaring at him. He was obviously upset that Ray didn't listen to him. Again. "Gabe, we're sorry." Ray said. "Yeah, you know Ray will do anything to help Jen, Allie or even any of us." Greta said. Gabe sighed and climbed on board. Bob and Weave took off, following Jen and Allie's scents.

Meanwhile, Slavetrader's cart was stopped outside a city so they could rest. Just then, Slavetrader saw something approaching. "Bandits?" He asked. As Bob and Weave got closer, everyone looked inside the cart. But it was empty! "They were here." Bob said. "But where are they?" Weave asked. "You just missed them." Slavetrader said. Ray's group got down as they all turned to see Slavetrader, Gigazanda and Snaptongue behind them, ready to fight. "Where are they?" Bob asked. "You better talk if you want to live." Weave said venomously. "I know you. Does the bounty on Tatsurion the Unchained specify dead or alive?" Slavetrader asked. Ray was shocked to hear that as Slavetrader nodded to Gigazanda. "There's a price on your head?" Gabe asked. "Not the time, Gabriel." Bob said. "Ray." Heatfroster's voice spoke. "Heatfroster?" Ray asked. "Hold up your K-Tector." Heatfroster said. Ray took out his K-Tector and held it out as Slavetrader's crew charged towards them. Just then, the K-Tector released a powerful energy wave, knocking all 3 of Slavetrader's crew down at once. Ray and his group were surprised at what happened. "Whoa! What was that?" He asked. "Simple. Your K-Tector can unleash a powerful energy wave attack that can defeat any large number of enemies. It's pretty useful when used at the right time" Heatfroster explained.

Bob walked over to Slavetrader, picked him up and held him up. "Where are the girls?" He asked threateningly. "Blastforge City!" Slavetrader cried. Suddenly, as Bob put Slavetrader down, a fireball was shot at the group from above. "What was that?" Portia asked in shock. Everyone looked up and saw a big red dragon flying through the air. "Wow. Who's your friend?" Ray asked. "Moorna. And she's not my friend." Bob said with a glare, not seeming liking to see her again. Just then, the dragon, Moorna, swooped down and kicked Bob hard, knocking him down. The group rushed over to check on him. "She's…my sister." He groaned in pain.

"I knew I smelled your traitorous stink, Tatsurion! I almost missed you!" Moorna said as she exclaims, firing another fireball at the group. But Ray blocked the fireball with his mana shield. Bob fired his rockets at Moorna, hitting her. "I didn't miss you." He snarled. "Ray, we need to get rid of her and find the girls." Heatfroster said. "Right. Stand back, guys. We got this." Ray said, holding out his K-Tector. "Execute! Guardian Spirit Evolution!" He glowed with mana and transformed into Heatfroster. "Whoa!" Gabe exclaimed as he and the others stared in amazement. Heatfroster took off into the sky and flew towards Moorna as she recovered from Bob's attack. He tackled her and they spun through the air. "Heatfroster?! But that's impossible! And you defend that traitor?!" Moorna exclaimed in shock. "I do. And I give you a warning, Moorna the Vengeful. Stay out of our way or you will meet your grave." Heatfroster warned her. "But Tatsurion is a traitor to all us Dragons! He must be destroyed! I must avenge fate!" Moorna exclaimed. But before she could retaliate, Heatfroster blasted her with an icy flame from his chest, sending her into a crevice.

As Heatfroster landed and transformed back into Ray, Bob prepared to go after Moorna. "What're you doing?" Ray asked. "I'm going to finish her!" Bob exclaimed. "But she's your sister. Family." Ray said. "Your family ever try to execute you?!" Bob asked with a snarl. Ray didn't know how to answer that. "Please. We're here for Jen and Allie. And Heatfroster gave her a warning." He said. Bob just sighed and walked back to the cart with the others following. "So, with a price on your head, are we going to have to fight every creature we run into in this place?" Gabe asked with a hint of worry and scare. "What if we are?" Bob asked. "We just need a way to hide you so we can head towards Blastforge City without a fight." Greta said. As they reached the cart, Ray looked at the still unconscious Snaptongue, then back at Bob, coming up with an idea.

Later, the group dressed Bob up in Snaptongue armor and hooked him up to a makeshift cart to disguise himself. "Humiliating! I would've been happier letting Moorna destroy me." Bob grumbled as he pulled the cart. "Don't be like that, Bob. You actually make a convincing Snaptongue Lizard." Weave said. Just then, Gabe saw something shiny from afar on one of the hills. "Did you see that flash?" He asked. Bob turned, but a piece of armor covered his eyes. "Can't see anything. And I stink like Snaptongue Lizard. And I'm getting hungry." He complained. "Don't worry, Bob. Heatfroster told me that the K-Tector can be used like a compass. It'll guide us to Blastforge City and we'll save Jen and Allie before you can say juicy bacon." Ray said, holding up the K-Tector as it glowed.

Meanwhile, in Blastforge City, a creature named Vorg was tenderizing a steak before looking over at a cookbook, reading a recipe for a Darkness koala creature called Scaradorable of Gloom Hollow. "Hmm. The Scaradorable of Gloom Hollow. To roast or grill?" He asked himself.

Meanwhile, Jen and Allie were locked in a cell. "This is not happening. This is not happening." Allie repeated. "Are you going to continue saying that until you wake up and smell the coffee?" Jen asked out of annoyance. "Yes! This is technically your fault." Allie said. Just then, before Jen could talk back, a noise surprised them from behind. "Who's back there?" Allie asked. A pair of yellow eyes glowed in the shadows, not answering. Jen and Allie put on their gloves, activated their gauntlets and shined their mana like flashlights towards the creature. It revealed itself to be a Scaradorable, scaring them. "It's a Scaradorable of Gloom Hollow, a Darkness Chimera." Jen said. But then, the poor Scaradorable huddled in the back, being scared herself. "Aw, poor thing." Jen said as she and Allie shined their mana again and walked up to the Scaradorable. "We know you're scared, Scaradorable. You wouldn't hurt us, right?" Allie asked. "Yeah. You won't hurt us and we won't hurt you." Jen said as she and Allie dimmed their lights and held out their hands. The Scaradorable walked up to them and sniffed their hands. "It's okay." Allie said, petting the Scaradorable. "See? We're friends." Jen said, joining the petting. The Scaradorable nuzzled into the petting. "Aw, who's a good squeaky-critter? You are, that's who. You're the good squeaky-critter." Allie said in baby talk. Just then, they heard a sound, surprising them.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, in the temple, Jaha received a report from Ghost Spy, her spy in Darkness. "No sign of the girls. But other humans trading post. Quite destructive." Ghost Spy reported. "Sounds like Ray and the others are making progress." Hector said as he, Nadia, Kimora and Janet came down to Jaha's quarters. Jaha motioned her hand, sending Ghost Spy back to the Darkness Realm. "But still, they could be trapped in the Fire Civilization forever even if they find Jennifer and Allison." Nadia said. "I agree. We must go after them." Kimora said. "While I agree, Fire is not like Nature, Kimora. Without the proper coordinates of where Ray and the others are, we could materialize in a lave flow." Hector said.

Meanwhile, Ray and his group continued their way towards Blastforge City. "We're getting close. I can feel it." Heatfroster said. "So, sister Moorna is a Dragon." Ray said "Half-sister." Bob corrected. "Blended family is still family." Ray said. "Dragons are very vain about their pure blood. They don't like to blend." Bob said. "Why did she call you a traitor?" Gabe asked. "Yeah, what was up with that?" Portia asked. "Some time ago, a Dragon hunting party attacked a Beastkin family. My mother's kind. Charged in horns first, saved the day, wounded a Dragon in the bargain." Bob explained as he sighed sadly. "Yeah, I heard about that mess." Weave said. "I was branded a traitor to the Fire Civilization and chained up to be executed." Bob said. "Wait. Your mom's not a dragon? Then, you're a-" Ray started to say. "Half-breed, abomination, born of 2 Civilizations, wanted by neither. I bring shame to them." Bob said. "You're ashamed that your half Dragon and half something else?! You're not a half-breed, Bob, you're a double-breed." Ray said. "Ray knows what he's talking about, Bob. He and Jen are of 2 races. Almost 2 Civilizations. Just like you." Gabe said. "They're not the only ones. Me and Greta are stepsiblings. 2 different parents, same family." Terry said, side-hugging Greta. "And even I relate. I'm of both Water and Darkness. But I don't let it shame me. I'm proud of who I am, Bob. You should be too." Weave said. Bob stopped in his tracks, thinking about what his friends were saying. Just then, everyone looked up and saw the same shiny object from before. "What is that?" Gabe asked. "Or who is that?" Maribel asked. Bob sniffed the scent. "A human. Tailing us. I've been smelling him for miles." Bob said as he continued. "This human must've been the flash you saw earlier, Gabe." Miku said. "Is there anyone here who doesn't want your head on a platter?" Gabe asked. "Everyone wants something. And what we want…is through those gates." Bob said as they had just arrived at Blastforge City.

Meanwhile, as Vorg was chopping up the steak with his cleaver attachment and placing the chops into a stew, Jen, Allie and the Scaradorable, who they now call Squeaky, were planning their escape. Allie took one of her hairpins and attempted to pick the lock. But then she noticed how big the lock was. So, she put her hairpin back, picked the lock by hand and unlocked it. As Vorg continued cooking and looked through is ingredients, Jen, Allie and Squeaky carefully snuck around him to the exit. Just then, he heard the exit door creak open and tossed his cleaver attachment at it. Jen, Allie and Squeaky ran for it. "Guards! Get those vermin! They're Lord Skycrusher's meal!" Vorg ordered. 2 Drakkon soldiers chased after the 3 escapees. As they ran, Squeaky lifted Jen and Allie onto her back, dodging 3 more guards up ahead. But as they turned down a corner, they stopped at a dead end. Allie got down and tried to pick up a sword, but it was too heavy for her. Just then, Vorg and the 2 guards walked up to them. "Squeaky, we're so sorry. Just close your eyes. It'll be like falling asleep, okay? Except with…you know stabbing. We'll wake up in a much better place." Allie said, closing her eyes. "Uh, Allie?" Jen said. Allie opened her eyes and saw that Vorg and the guards stopped in their steps like they were hypnotized. Squeaky was giving them an adorable hypnotic look. "Oh my gosh. Who could resist that adorable face?" Allie asked. Just then, Squeaky screeched and released a swarm of bat creatures from her mouth, attacking Vorg and the guards. "Did not see that coming. But neither did they. Let's go." Jen said.

They escaped down the hall. "Jennifer." A voice suddenly called out from thin air. Jen stopped in her tracks, hearing the voice. "Jennifer." The voice called. "Hello? Someone there?" Jen called. "Uh, Jen? You okay?" Allie asked. "I heard a voice." Jen said. "A voice? I don't hear anything." Allie said. "Jennifer." The voice called. "Only I can hear it. Like when Heatfroster called Ray." Jen said. "But where is it coming from?" Allie asked. "This way, Jennifer." The voice said. "This way." Jen said, turning left as she ran down the hall. "Jen, wait! Not so fast!" Allie exclaimed as she and Squeaky followed. As they ran down the hall, the voice guided Jen. "Turn to your right, Jennifer. There's a hidden passage through that wall." The voice said. Jen looked right at the wall and walked towards it. "Uh, Jen? That's just a wall." Allie said. Jen placed a hand on the wall and it opened into a secret room. "Actually, I think it's a secret room." She said as she walked in. Allie playfully shook her head before she and Squeaky followed.

Inside the secret room, they found a Guardian Spirit shrine, marked with the symbol of a crescent moon. "Is that…?" Allie started to ask. "Yes. It's a shrine to a Guardian Spirit." Jen said. "But which one?" Allie asked. As Jen approached the shrine, the crescent moon symbol started to glow. Jen looked down at her hand as a K-Tector, colored white and magenta, appeared in it. "A K-Tector?" She gasped. Just then, the crescent moon symbol glowed brightly before it shattered and released a spirit in the form of a humanoid fox with 6 tails, as beautiful as the moon. "You…You're a Guardian Spirit, aren't you?" Jen asked. "Yes, Jennifer. I am Lunaressa, the Moon Beauty. It is an honor to finally meet you." The Guardian Spirit, Lunaressa, said. "So, what does this mean?" Jen asked. Allie and Squeaky looked on in confusion since they couldn't see Lunaressa. "It means that you are to receive an extraordinary power to help you, your brother and your friends achieve your destiny to reunite our worlds." Lunaressa explained. "How?" Jen asked. "Hold out your K-Tector and I will show you." Lunaressa said. Jen holds out the K-Tector and Lunaressa's spirit was transferred into it. She looked on in amazement as the K-Tector powered up. "Uh, what happened?" Allie asked in confusion. "We got ourselves another new friend. Now let's get out of here." Jen as she walked out of the room with Allie and Squeaky followed.

After leaving the secret room, Jen, Allie and Squeaky walked into another room. "I think we lost them." Allie said. "Uh, I don't think so." Jen said with worry. Allie turned and saw that they walked into a throne room. And there, with a couple of Drakkon Guards, 2 Jetflame Lizards and a Badlands Lizard, sitting on the throne was Lord Skycrusher himself. "Lord Skycrusher, I presume." Allie said, bowing to the Dragon lord. "We can see you're busy. So, we'll just get out of your hair. Or scales." Jen said. As the girls and Squeaky turned to run, Vorg and the guards showed up. Skycrusher raised his sword and fired a fireball at the feet of the girls. "This must be what they mean when they say out of the frying pan…" Allie started to say. "Into the fire." Skycrusher said.

Meanwhile, Ray's group were almost to the city gates. "We're traveling with a wanted fugitive! What do you think will happen to us if we get caught?!" Gabe exclaimed. "We won't get caught. We're gonna rescue Jen and Allie, and get home." Ray said. "But how are we gonna get inside the city?" Miku asked. "Heatfroster says there's a secret entrance on the west end of the city wall. We're gonna go through that secret entrance, find Jen and Allie, and get home." Ray explained. Suddenly, Bob bumped into a couple of guards outside the city. "Your cart has no city seal. Rules say we have to impound it." One of the guards said while the other inspected the group. The first guard looked inside Bob's mouth. "The pathless is worth more than the wheels. Even if it is kinda scrawny for a Snaptongue." He said. "Who's scrawny?!" Bob snarled as he took off the headpiece of his armor and smacked the guard with it. The second guard blew an emergency horn, but Weave swatted him away. "We must hurry to the secret entrance! Quickly!" Heatfroster exclaimed. But as the group was preparing to move, an entire platoon of guards surrounded them. The kids hid under the cart while Ray, Bob, Weave and the Kazamas dealt with the guards. Bob grabbed one guard and threw him at the cliff above them. Another guard tried to stab Kaito, but he managed to grab the spear, leap up and kick the guard hard in the face. But there were too many guards. They all started stabbing Bob and Weave, shocking them.

Meanwhile, back in the throne room, Vorg was leading Allie, Jen and Squeaky away. "Lord Skycrusher! One creature's meat is another's poison." Allie said as she ran up to Lord Skycrusher. But Vorg followed and prepared to smash her. "Hold, Vorg!" Skycrusher ordered before he stood up and walked towards the 2 girls. "She's right, my Lord. It's only fair to warn you that just last month, another lord from the Darkness Realm declared us unfit for consumption. Nothing but bones, see?" Jen lied. Skycrusher picked them up and examined them. "You 2 are boney. Leave these tidbits. The furry one's plump enough for my supper." He ordered. Vorg nodded and started to lead Squeaky away. "But my Lord, there's more to the-" Allie tried to say, but Skycrusher silenced her by pointing his sword at her and Jen. "For what I paid for you 2, if you're not food, you better be entertainment." Skycrusher said. Jen and Allie became worried at the mention of that word.

Meanwhile, Ray, Bob, Weave and the Kazamas continued fighting off the guards. But there were still too many. Suddenly, a laser blast hit one of the guards, surprising everyone. "Where did that come from?" Sakura asked. Just then, the man who was following them leapt out of nowhere and started firing laser beams from his eye at the guards. The guards fired lightning bolts from their spears, but as the man landed, he spun a staff in his hand, blocking the bolts as he charged towards them. He then swatted the staff at the remaining guards, knocking them down. "Thanks for the help." Ray said. "Who are you?" Terry asked. "Why were you following us? And what happened to your eye?" Gabe asked. "Wait. That's where those lasers came from?" Portia asked, shuddering at the thought. The man didn't answer as he walked up to the kids and stared at them. "We are…similar. How is this?" He asked. "Right. As if you've never seen another human." Gabe said. "Yeah. Aren't you human too?" Maribel asked. "You say human. I thought I was alone." The man said, removing his hood and revealing his face. He had something on his right eye. "You meek among Nature creatures." The kids stared at each other in confusion. "Now, what could bring you to Blastforge?" The man asked. "Rescue. Lord Skycrusher is holding our friend and my sister. 2 more humans. We're going to get them back. We were heading towards the secret entrance at the west end of the wall." Ray explained. Just then, the guards started groaning. "Better we're not here when they awake. I can show you to the west end. Come." The man said. The group followed the man to the secret entrance on the west end. "Ray, be weary. There's something about this man that I don't trust." Heatfroster said. "Understood." Ray whispered. As they reached the west end, they discovered a grate in the ground. The man fired his laser, cutting it open.

Meanwhile, a portal opened in a cave outside the city. Hector, Nadia, Kimora, Jaha and Janet came through it. Hector and Jaha sealed the portal before using their gauntlets to light their way out of the cave. "Welcome, my friends, to the Fire Civilization." Hector said as they saw that they were right outside Blastforge City. "Blastforge City. Never thought I'd actually get to see it in person." Janet said. "I don't suppose you could've gotten us closer?" Kimora asked.

Meanwhile, Jen and Allie were placed in a cockpit of a Sledgebot, a Fire Civilization Stomper. Just then, a gate opened, making them gasp at what they saw.

Meanwhile, Ray's group continued their way under the city. Suddenly, Bob stopped in his tracks. "What is it, Bob?" Ray asked. "They're close." Bob said, smelling Jen and Allie's scent in the air. "Where to, Heatfroster?" Ray asked. 'Heatfroster?' The man asked in thought. "There. That ladder. It should take us up to the colosseum." Heatfroster said. The man went up first as the others followed. He made it to the top and fired his lasers. "Do we trust this guy?" Gabe asked. "Don't look at us. We don't trust anybody. Except for you kids." Bob said. "Either way, Heatfroster doesn't trust him either. So, stay on your guard." Ray said. Just then, a guard fell down the shaft. Everyone looked up and saw the man, gesturing them to follow.

Later, they found their way into the colosseum, where thousands of creatures were cheering for the festivities. Lord Skycrusher was sitting in his personal seat above. He waved his sword as the current fight commenced. Jen and Allie's Sledgebot was battling another Stomper called Rothos the Destroyer. As the group watched, Bob caught a familiar scent on Sledgebot. "Ray!" He called. Ray looked and saw to his shock, Jen and Allie in the Sledgebot's cockpit. "Gotta get out of here!" Allie panicked. "We can do this, Allie!" Jen exclaimed as they dodged an attack. They fired from Sledgebot's cannons, but Rothos endured the blast, readied a cannon on his chasse and fired a rocket. Jet and Allie braced themselves as the rocket released 4 little bombs and destroyed Sledgebot. The crowd cheered as Ray's group looked on with worry. But Jen and Allie revealed themselves to be alright as they managed to get out of the wreckage. "Thank goodness." Ray said as he and the others sighed in relief. But then Rothos started going after them, trying to smash them and run them over. "You win already! Game over!" Allie exclaimed. "This is not fair play!" Jen exclaimed. Lord Skycrusher just cackled. "Now that's entertainment!" He exclaimed. Rothos nearly smashed the girls with his left arm, causing them to trip and fall.

Just then, Ray, Bob and Weave leapt into the arena and grabbed onto Rothos' treads. The man fired a laser beam at the left treads, allowing Bob to break them off and smash Rothos in the face. "Guards, seize the interlopers!" Lord Skycrusher ordered. Ray and Bob rushed over to Allie and lifted her on board while Weave grabbed Jen. "Ray! You came for us!" Allie cried happily. "Of course, I did. I wasn't just gonna leave my sister and my best friend. Now let's get the others and bolt." Ray said. "No! We can't leave without Squeaky!" Allie protested. "Squeaky?" Ray asked. "A Scaradorable we met. Long story. Tell you later, bro." Jen said. Suddenly, they found themselves surrounded by guards. "Doesn't look like we're leaving…at all." Bob said. "We're far too outnumbered." Weave said. The guards circled around them, spears at the ready.

To Be Continued…

Whoa. This just got bad. Jen and Allie were taken into the Fire Civilization. Ray's group go behind the Masters' backs to go and rescue them. They learn that Jen and Allie were taken to Blastforge City, kingdom of the infamous Lord Skycrusher.
