Bewitched

Chapter 4: A Sorcereress's Plan B

Danny and Star, along with the others arrived to the video games store, and started looking around.

Tucker was having a ball as he looked over some of the games.

"Alright, the new release for DOOM 4! I've been looking for this one!..."The tech geek said, as he planned to make his purchase.

"Alright, Femalian the video game. I've been looking everywhere for this!..."Sam said, as she eagerly held the game in her hands.

Valerie and Jazz, who weren't big on games, just waited for them outside.

"Man, is it just me or are there more video games getting more and more spin offs? Including movies and TV shows?..."Val commented.

"Well, I'm sure it's to appease their many video game consumers with more content..."Jazz said, as they waited for the others to be done.

The two continued their brief conversation, as the others continued their shopping.

Inside the video game store

"It's gotta be around here somewhere..."Danny said, as he looked around for that game.

"I'm sure that you'll find it, Boo..."Star said, before she noticed one game that caught her attention.

She gasped and smiled.

"The new Turbo Toni Go-Cart Fun Fest 5 game! Alright!..."She said, as she picked it up.

Even during her A-listers days, she did like this franchise and had played a couple of games when she was younger, but only once in a while.

"Isn't this that game franchise that recently had a movie release that was a smash hit?..."Danny asked.

Star nodded, smiling.

"Yeah, I saw it with Val and I loved every minute of it! It was a little odd pacing and there was some unanswered reasoning that couldn't be further explained due to being a nearly 2 hour movie, but it made a cool origin story for the characters and answered quiet a few questions that have been in the games lore for a long time..."The blonde girl said, smiling.

"Sure, a few subplots didn't seem to be resolved...I won't spoil it for you...but it still rocked in my opinion..."Star said, making it clear that she was a fan of the game and the movie that was inspired by it.

Danny smiled at her and sent her a cute, infatuated look.

"I think that I just fell in love with you all over again..."He said, and Star giggled.

"Aw, Boo. I love you too..."She said, giggling.

The two shared a quick kiss, while a nearby sales clerk, an older but geeky looking guy who seemed to be a year or 2 older than them. He was working part time, saw this and sighed.

"How does a guy like that get one of those? I want one of those!..."He thought, as he saw the teenage couple continue to shop and hold hands.

"Myron, go unpack the new shipment!..."His boss said.

"Right, Mr. Perkins..."Myron said as he did so.

However, he wasn't the only one feeling jealous of the couple right now, as someone else was glaring daggers right now.

Outside

Misty was now outside the video game store and made a face at that, hiding behind a nearby kiosk and away from Jazz and Val's view.

"Video games? She actually likes video games? Oh please. How lame..."Misty scoffed, while her spell book spoke up.

"How are you sure that your future husband isn't the one who enjoys such things?..."The book asked.

Misty paused, and soon noticed Danny browsing as he looked around. He also looked like he WANTED to be there too.

Personally, Misty didn't care much for video games. She didn't hate them, but they just weren't her thing. Still, if Danny liked them, she supposed that she can widen her horizon for his sake.

"Oh...well...maybe those games aren't so bad then. Maybe there are at least some out there that I could like...and if not...well, not all couples have everything in common. It's like that old saying about opposites attracting each other..."The young sorceress said, trying to save face.

"So, what is your next plan? And I hope that you have given it a little more thought than the last one..."Her spell book said.

Misty frowned at that, but nodded.

"Oh, let's just say that new spell that we've been working on might come in handy here..."She said, as she began to get things ready.

Back with Danny

The ghost boy is still looking for the video game that he wanted.

"It has to be around here somewhere..."He said, as he kept looking for the Myth of Hilda.

"Hey, Danny. I think that I found it..."Star called out.

Danny went to her and looked thrilled as soon as he saw the video game that he has been searching for right in Star's hand.

"Alright, The Myth of Hilda! Score! Kingdom of Toprain, here I come!..."Danny cheered, as he finally found the game from his favorite series.

Star giggled at this enthusiastic response.

"You are such a gamer nerd sometimes..."She teased.

"But you love me anyway..."Danny teased back.

"You bet that I do, Danny-Boo..."Star said, as they nuzzled their noses a bit.

Misty saw that and growled in envy, angrily tearing off part of a cardboard cutout that she was hiding behind, not that she noticed.

"That's suppose to be me!..."She said, envy growing within her.

"So, are you going to proceed as planned?..."The spell book asked.

"Oh...I definitely am. First, I gotta get the little blonde princess to go away first..."Misty said, as she concentrated on her magic.

"And how do you intend to do that?..."The spell book asked.

"Simple. No girl wants to be seen having a bad hair day...especially by their boyfriend. That kind of humiliation can hurt any girl's dignity and her self-confidence..."Misty said, grinning mischievously.

"Really? That's your plan? Seems rather simple?..."The book asked, and Misty frowned.

"Would YOU wanna be seen by someone you liked, having the worst possible hair that would make even Medusa would look prettier...and that's including her snake hair?..."Misty asked rhetorically.

The book thought about it and reluctantly agreed.

"Good point..."He admitted.

The young sorceress then refocused her efforts, as she prepared to strike.

"Diàn huǒhuā!..."Misty chanted quietly, as her eyes and hands briefly flashed green as she cast her spell.

Soon a small green glow from a nearby outlet sparkled for a very brief second. However, the blonde girl did notice it.

"Huh?..."Star let out, as if she saw something from the very corner of her eyes.

"Hey, what is going on?..."Danny asked, as his girlfriend looked around.

"Huh? I thought I saw something..."Star said, as she looked out for something out of the ordinary, or at least her level of ordinary.

She didn't see anything, and continued with her shopping.

Misty saw this, grinning as her spell was beginning to take effect.

"Alright. Now I just have to wait for the right moment where she gets close to that outlet..."She said, as her hands glowed once again.

Star began to walk a bit around the video game store again as she tried to look for more games...all the while, she unwittingly step right into Misty's trap.

She ended up unintentionally walking close to that outlet once more, which is exactly what the dark haired girl wanted. With just a wave of her hands, the young sorceress in training activated her spell.

Within a few seconds, Star suddenly felt a tiny jolt of static electricity go through her body.

"Ow!..."Star yelped.

The shock wasn't very strong...it was somewhat like static electricity but she soon saw the aftereffects on full display on the reflection of the crystal clear window in front of her.

She gasped in horror once she saw it.

"My hair!..."Star said in dismay, as her blonde hair became a static-y mess.

"Yes, got her! Now once Danny sees her, she's gonna be so embarrassed and run away...leaving him all alone for me!..."Misty said, as she quietly laughs at how spiky Star's hair now looked.

Just then, Danny went to Star once he heard her scream. He then saw Star's current state and gasped.

"Star, what happened to you?!..."Danny asked, alarmed.

"I...I don't know. I just walking and...there was this outlet... and then the static jolted all of a sudden and...and...now my hair looks like of those anime characters that go blonde when they power up!..."Star said, trying to hide behind a Turbo Toni cardboard standee that was promoting the movie adaptation.

"Oh man, a jolt?! You didn't get hurt, did you?!..."Danny asked, worried about her.

"No, but my hair is a wreck! I can't go out looking like this!..."Star said, looking embarrassed.

Misty saw this and smirked.

"Oh man, she must be dying of embarrassment right now. Now Danny is gonna laugh at her and she'll run away... leaving me an opportunity to take her place..."The young sorceress said, as she waited for her plan to unfold in front of her.

However, that didn't happen as Danny felt more concerned about his girlfriend's well being over all.

"I'm glad that you aren't in any pain, but you don't have to freak out about your hair. I'm just glad that you're not seriously hurt..."Danny said, as his expression is filled with worry for his girlfriend.

"That's sweet, Boo...but not everyone is as sweet as you. Anyway, what exactly are we gonna do about my hair?..."She said, pointing at her now ruined hairdo.

"Right..."Danny said. "No worries, I'll be back in a second..."He said, as he ran out the shop for a moment, while Star kept hiding.

"Where is he going?..."Misty asked, as she saw Danny run into a nearby hat store.

In less than a minute, he came back with a hat and a brush and handed it to his embarrassed girlfriend.

"Hey Star, do you think this will help?..."He asked.

Star saw the hat and brush, and gasped in relief.

"Oh, Danny-Boo. Thank you!..."Star said as she quickly brushed her hair and hid the rest of it with the hat, thus quickly fixing what could have been a very bad hair day.

Misty was rather shocked by how fast Star managed to fix her static-y mess of hair and hid that disaster with just a cheap brush and a hat. Soon, she no longer looked ridiculous as the hat hid her bad hair day and she sent a grateful look to her boyfriend.

"Oh, Boo. You're the best!..."Star said, as she planted a kiss on him.

Danny had a dazed look on his face, smiling like a lovesick fool.

"It's good to be the best..."He said, as he placed a hand on his cheek.

While Danny was savoring his lovesick moment, Star was a little busy with putting the finishing touches on her new improvised hair style. Both were unaware of the circumstances of what just happened between them.

Misty saw that her spell backfired and growled.

"Are you kidding me?!..."She muttered in anger.

"It seems that your spell just did something to bring them closer...and gave a brand new look for your rival..."The book said, while Misty mentality screamed out of frustration.

"Unbelievable! What rotten luck!..."She said in anger, as she couldn't believe how Star managed to turn a disaster into a new look for herself.

"Calm down, Misty. The way to win any war in the battlefield requires patience, strategy, discipline and control over one's emotions..."Her spell book said, but Misty ignored the book as she makes a new plan.

"I'm not giving up. Time for plan C!..."She said, not wanting to admit defeat in the slightest.

"And that is?..."He asked, and Misty paused.

"Uh...I am open to suggestions..."She said, looking sheepish.

"Hmmm...I have one, but it will require you to hone a deeper focus on your magic for this spell to be successful..."Her spell book said, and Misty nodded.

"Okay, I'm in..."Misty said, ready to learn.

"Wonderful..."The spell book said, ready to teach her a new spell on the fly.

Later

Danny and the others soon left the video game store, and decided to go to the arcade for a bit.

Star, wearing her hat, had gone to the ladies room and using her brush, managed to fix her hair and managed to mostly get her hair back to normal by now.

"It's not perfect, but this will have to do. At least, until I get back home ..."Star said, smiling.

"You still look beautiful to me. No matter how you style you hair, Starlight..."Danny said, holding her hand.

"It's crazy how faulty this store's wiring was..."Sam said, as she didn't think anyone would have left something that potentially dangerous go unnoticed.

"I already complained to the store manager, and he is getting a maintenance guy to check up on it. I'm just glad that it didn't do anything worse than give me a bad hair day..."Star said, unaware of what had really happened back there.

Meanwhile

Unknown to Team Phantom, Misty and her spell book had followed them, ready for plan C.

"Are you sure that this will work?..."Misty asked, as she had never once used this spell before.

"I am positive. Just remember to double the focus of your magic than you usually would for your other spells. I know that you can do it..."The spell book said in an optimistic way.

Misty nodded, and soon cast her spell.

"Ànyǐng kè hán juéqǐ!..."She chanted, as her eyes and hands glowed bright green.

Soon, a shadow like figure formed and the dark haired girl was surprised to say the least.

"This is a shadow?…"Misty asked as she poked the tiny blob of darkness with a finger.

The shape changed for a moment as it continued flopping or whatever made up word one could use to describe its shape.

"It's stupid…"She said, not impressed.

"It's formless…"The book said.

"It looks like some kids…cartoon…channel…logo thing…"Misty sputtered, one word at a time.

"Then bend it to your will…"The book spoke with a stern and annoyed tone.

"Oh, right..."Misty said, as she tries to concentrate moving the magic in herself and the shadow in front of her.

Soon, the figure soon stood straight.

"Okay, better..."She said.

"What next?..."Misty asked.

"We follow through with your plan by using the shadow to get closer to the teenage boy that you desire..."Her book advised.

Misty did so and tried to focus on the shadow and the plan.

"This is so not as easy as you described it..."Misty whispered, as she had to really concentrate to moving the blobbish shadow.

Soon, Misty had no other choice, but to close her eyes and try to meditate to focus her her mind and magic on pushing the shadow to get as close to Danny as possible.

The blobby shadow went to work, inching near Danny. Since the small blobish shadow wasn't made of any ectoplasm or was from the Ghost Zone, Danny couldn't detect it with his ghost sense at all. He also didn't even notice that the small shadow had been crawling on him and landed on the snack he was eating.

It was an extra dark chocolate candy bar that he got from a nearby vending machine. He ate it and blinked once he register the flavor.

"Huh...that last bite tasted a bit off..."Danny let out, but soon felt something getting stunk in his throat.

Soon the lump in his throat was starting to get uncomfortable as he was now choking and had a little trouble coughing it out.

The lump in his throat felt strange...as if whatever was in his throat was deliberately and consciously trying to stay where it was, almost like it was remotely staying put, much to the ghost boy's dismay.

"Why...Can't...I...Breathe?!..."Danny choked out, as he was coughing and choking like crazy right now.

Misty panicked, a terrible mistake was made as the shadow was now mimicking her emotional distress, expanding and contracting in the ghost boy's throat.

Danny coughed violently, grabbing at his throat.

"OH MY GOSH! HE'S CHOCKING! What did you make me do?!..."Misty demanded, and even her spell book looked alarmed.

"Oops, my bad. It seems that the spell says that you were suppose to be close to your target and monitor him from a safe distance,, but it seems that I mixed it up at the last syllable. This spell is meant to smother instead..."The book explained, looking embarrassed.

"WHAT?!..."Misty shouted in horror.

Misty began to panic and blame the book for this slip-up as the ghost kid was still chocking right now.

"Danny?! Are you okay?! What's happening?!…"Star yelled, as she ran to him.

Fearing this was the work of a ghost, Star started thinking frantically as the people around watched in horror.

A nearby patron saw this, panicked and took out his phone and began dialing 911. All the while, the sorceress was trying hard to fix this mess.

"Okay! Okay. I can fix this…"Misty thought to herself, collecting her thoughts. "I can still walk over there and save Danny. He'll be grateful, fall for me, and wedded bliss will follow, and—..."

However, that plan failed before it even started as her rival already beat her there.

Star went around Danny, gripping her hands together on the ghost boy's solar plexus with her arms wrapped around. With amine swift motion, she squeezed rhythmically in repetition.

Soon, the blob-ish shadow was launched out of Danny's mouth and landed straight into a nearby trash can. The ghost boy gasped for air, and everyone surrounded him in concern.

"Danny, are you okay?!..."Star asked, worried that she might have used too much pressure on him and about her boyfriend's well-being.

"I...I think so. I don't know how that happened. But I'm pretty certain that you just saved my life..."Danny said, while his friends and sister went to him.

"Danny!..."Sam said in concerned.

"Dude, what just happened?!..."Tucker said, while the others showed up.

"Just experienced a life or death moment in the last 10 seconds. I'm fine now, though..."Danny said, as the arcade's manager went to him.

"You okay, kid? That was a close one. Your lucky this girl here was with you..."He said, and Danny grinned.

"Yeah, I always am..."Danny said, while more people applauded Star for her heroic act.

"That was amazing. She's a literal lifesaver..."One of the patrons said.

"I'm just looking out for my boyfriend, he's done the same for me lots of times..."Star said, as more people praised her.

"That may be true, but you came to my rescue right now. So, I definitely owe you a lot..."Danny said, as he kissed her cheek and embracing her.

Star smiled.

"Hey, I love you. So, of course I'd do anything for you, Boo..."Star said, as she hugged him back.

Misty and her spell book saw this and felt conflicted right now.

"Well, this plan was certainly a mistake..."Misty grumbled, relieved that Danny is okay, but annoyed that Star was the one who saved him.

"This is all your fault!..."She blamed, as she glared at the magical book.

"I apologize for using the wrong spell, my dear. Perhaps we should avoid using spells from the advance section of the spell book until you have a much better handle on your magic..."The book said.

"Now what?..."Misty asked, as she used her magic and got rid of the now useless blob.

"Perhaps we could use an intermediate spell this time..."The book said.

"You sure that your not gonna mix up any lethal spells again?..."She asked, sounding crossed.

"I swear that I will carefully consider the outcomes and potential dangers of each intermediate spells within this book, before suggesting anything to you. I promise..."Her book said, sounding like the book didn't want to look the fool twice in a row.

Later

After the chocking incident at the arcade, and making sure that Danny is alright, Team Phantom check-up on the ghost boy and make sure that he was alright.

"You sure that your okay, Boo?..."Star asked, still worried about him.

"I'm fine, Starlight. You know that it would take more than a candy bar to hurt me..."Danny said, while Star frowned, still worried about him.

"Well you just wait here, while I go get us something safe to eat..."Star said, being stern.

They were now at the food court and avoided ordering foods that were a potential choking hazard.

"How about some soft tacos? It's been a while since I had one of those..."Danny suggested, and the others considered it.

"Fine, but I am making sure that you have a drink with you and that you eat carefully..."Star said in a slightly naggy way.

"Yes, Ma'am..."Danny said in a teasing way, as they went to go get some tacos for lunch.

Misty and her book had followed them here and hid behind some decorative bushes in the food court.

"Okay, time to take more drastic measures to get that blonde doll away from him..."Misty said, agitated.

"Anything you have in mind?..."The book asked.

Seeing the gang eating some tacos, Misty got an idea.

"Hmm...I don't really wanna hurt her but...I'm sure that she can handle a little...spice to her food...and if she can't, she can always leave..."Misty said in a hinting way.

Her book heard this and got what she was meaning.

"Then, you can never go wrong with some ghost peppers...from what I understand in this world, these vegetables are very high in capsaism..."The book said.

"Works for me..."Misty said, as she soon read the spell and aimed.

"Guǐ jiāo chūxiàn!..."She chanted, as she cast her spell, only to accidentally bite her tongue by accident.

"OW!..."She yelped, and accidentally aimed at the wrong taco.

The result was Misty missing her intended target...and made its way to Danny's taco instead.

"Oh no!..."She let out in dismay, but was too late as her crush bit into his taco.

The end result was his face suddenly turning red, as he was sweating and had his eyes tearing up from the heat inside his mouth.

"Danny, what's wrong?..."Star asked in alarm, as her boyfriend started to coughed and wheeze as his mouth felt like it was on fire.

He started screaming in pain.

"AHH! MY MOUTH! Who put ghost peppers in this?!…"Danny screamed, grabbing at his throat again.

"Oh…darn it! I really messed up again!…"Misty spoke with aghast face.

"You think?…"The book snarked.

"Water! Water! Someone please give me some water!…"Danny went for his glass, only seeing ice.

He grabbed the water and chugged it down, but he was still suffering from the super spicy food.

"Oh no, I gotta help him. Help me conjure up some water with ice or something!..."Misty ordered, as she started flipping through pages in the book.

However, Danny kept chugging his own drinks and his friends tried to help, but it did little to work.

"This isn't working!…"Danny shouted, as he went back to grabbing his throat.

"That's because water doesn't work to cool spicy food…"Star said with some urgency. "Drink a milkshake. It'll do the trick…"She said, as she ran to a nearby kiosk and got him one

She handed it to her boyfriend. Danny grabbed it and quickly chugged it down. In a few moments, his mouth was no longer burning in spicy pain and he began to calm down now.

"T-Thanks, Starlight..."He said, while the others seemed confused right now.

"Since when do fish taco's have ghost peppers in them?!..."He asked, getting really mad about that experience.

"Maybe they mixed your order with someone else..."Tucker guessed.

"How?! I don't think they even serve ghost peppers as a topping at that taco stand..."Star said, while her boyfriend drank the rest of his milkshake.

Both because it helped soothed any leftover burning in his mouth and because it was tasty.

"As much as I like to explore to taste palate, those peppers were going a step too far..."Danny said, not appreciating the surprise in his meal.

Thankfully, the milkshake managed to cure the last of the burning sensation in this mouth, and he felt much better right now.

"At least my mouth no longer feels like I just ate molten lava. Thanks Star..."Danny said in appreciation.

His girlfriend smiled at that.

"Don't thank me, thank my Nana. She's the one who taught me that milkshakes help cure spiciness... or eat some Key-lime pie, she also told me that a Key-lime pie is a the perfect cure for super spicy food..."Star added, smiling.

"Noted..."Danny said, making a mental note for the future.

He was just glad that it was over now. Plus, he got a tasty beverage too.

As Danny and Star left with their friends, Misty looked like she was about to have a melt down.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! She was suppose to be the one eating that and making a fool out of herself or leaving! DARN IT, I WAS SO CLOSE!..."She yelled as she kicked a nearby garbage can in anger.

"Yes, seems that your rival is much more resourceful than either of us excepted..."The spell book said, while the sorceress got angrier.

"Don't remind me..."Misty muttered, hating this.

She saw how close Danny and Star were getting and her anger rose, as she unknowingly made a nearby pepper shaker explode and startling a completely different couple that were on a lunch date.

She didn't notice, but her spell book did.

"Temper temper, Misty. Getting emotional won't do much to help..."The spell book said, but the young sorceress ignored him.

She glared at her blonde rival, hating how happy she was with Danny. She saw her happy face, and she couldn't stand it!

"Oh, so you think that you've beaten me again, Huh? Well...we'll see about that, Strong. Danny is gonna be MY boyfriend soon enough and I've only begun to fight. I'm NOT calling it a day just yet!..."Misty said, as dark thoughts formed as her eyes glowed a darker green.

Her spell book saw this and was pleased as things were going so well in it's perspective, as they continued to aim to achieve their goal.

Later

After the incident in the food court, Misty tried her next plan.

Team Phantom continued their day at the mall. She saw Star about to check herself with her compact mirror, so Misty used her magic to conjure a bucket of water on her head in an effort to ruin her outfit and make her separate from Danny.

However, Star moved at the last minute and the bucket missed her completely, which caused a random mall-goer slip on the watery spilled mess.

"WHAT THE HECK?!..."The guy yelled.

"Darn it..."Misty grumbled, getting more frustrated.

After that

Team Phantom had gone to check out a few more stores.

Star asked for a quick stop at a nearby makeup store to try out some of the free samples there. The young sorceress saw where she was heading. Misty got an idea to ruin Star's makeup and make her look like a clown instead.

"Let's see how much Danny is gonna wanna make out with you once you look like Mrs. Bozo!..."Misty said, as she cast her spell and the makeup around Star began to glow.

Star began to apply some of the free eye shadow and blush that was on display. However, the second she turned her gaze away, the make up on her face glowed and changed.

The blonde girl then went to check her appearance to add some finishing touches. Once Star got a good look of herself in the mirror, she was horrified.

She screamed.

"What happened to my face?!..."Star said, worried about her makeup being ruined and wondering if this is some kind of prank.

Danny heard her scream and went to her.

"Star, are you okay?..."Danny asked, but soon saw what happened to her face.

"Is this someone's idea of a joke?!..."She asked, wondering if something was wrong with this makeup.

"What happened?..."He asked.

"I don't know. I think these samples are defective or something. I put just some blush and eye shadow and lipstick on and it just...did this..."She said, trying to hide her face from the public.

Danny saw how upset she was right now. However, he got an idea to help cheer up Star. As he grabbed some nearby makeup samplers paint himself with.

Star's mortification was briefly forgotten, as she was now confused.

"Uh...what are you doing?..."She asked, but soon saw what he was trying to do.

He ended up looking like some sort of clown, grinning the whole time.

"How do I look? It doesn't really matter since I think you look rather Boo-tiful, Starlight..."Danny said, and even made a funny face at he to make her feel better.

Star saw this and giggled. The giggling soon turn to full blown laughter as she even held her sides and nearly cried at this point from how hard she was laughing.

"Oh boo. You sometimes act like a goof, but I can't help but love you..."She said, still laughing.

"Right back at ya, milady..."Danny said, making her laugh more.

This exchange of laughter and gentle teasing went on for a few more minutes, until both lovingly teens with out of breath.

"Okay...okay...I feel better now. But we probably should wipe this stuff off before someone takes a picture of us and puts it on the internet..."Star said, feeling a little better now.

"Good point..."Danny said.

She took a makeup removal wipe from her purse and passed it on her face. She even offered some to Danny, who took it and soon his own face was clean.

Star was glad that Danny didn't make fun of her, and even did all of that to cheer her up. She wiped the defective makeup off her face, and the end result was her face being completely makeup free.

Danny saw this and Star felt self conscious right now.

"Oh right. This is the first time he's seeing me without my makeup on..."She thought, but her boyfriend got a good look at her face without any makeup on.

He smiled.

"Wow...now I know what they mean by natural beauty..."Danny said sincerely.

Star heard this and smiled, feeling touched by his words.

"Oh...I love you, Boo..."Star said, as she hugged him.

"Still, I think I'm gonna stay away from this makeup brand from now on..."She added, assuming that it was just bad quality.

"Okay..."Danny said, as he hugged her back, while Misty inadvertently tore off the top of a bench that she was crouching behind.

"Are you kidding me?! She looked like a clown from a horror movie, and he STILL stuck by her?! Then she removed all her makeup...and she still looks good?! SERIOUSLY?!..."Misty said, as she crushed the bench top into toothpicks.

"Hey, what are you doing there?! That's mall property!..."A nearby mall cop said.

"Oh crud!..."Misty said, as she started to run, just happy that she was still wearing her disguise.

She tried to get away, using her magic to escape the mall cop and repercussions of her actions.

After that

After Misty managed to escape the mall cop, she altered her disguise to include a short blonde wig and a new outfit all together, as she kept up her crusade against Star.

Right now, she was looking around for any sign of them, until Misty found them still together. She saw Danny, Star and their friends buying soda and she noticed that Star's makeup was fixed.

The young sorceress then got an idea.

"Let's see how cute Danny will find you when you're belching like a trucker!..."Misty said in anger, as she cast another spell.

"Dà shēng dǎ-gé!..."She chanted, but her spell book panicked.

"No, you mispronounced the last word!..."He warned.

"What?!..."Misty asked, but it was too late.

The spell was cast, but due to her mispronunciation, she ended up hitting the next person.

It was Tucker.

He drank his beverage and in less than a minute, it happened.

"UUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPP!..."Tucker let out a loud belch that it echoed throughout the mall.

His friends saw this and sent him looks, while even Tucker seemed surprised by what had just happened.

"Huh? That one snuck up on me..."The techno geek said, while his friends frowned.

"Real nice..."Sam said sarcastically.

"Uh...excuse me..."He said, trying to save face.

Misty frowned, both disgusted and frustrated that she failed again.

"Darn it! Now I'm too grossed out to even try that spell again!..."She said, trying hard not to gag right now.

"In hindsight, it was still a rather low brow spell to start with..."The spell book said.

"Shut up, I'm angry and I wanna wipe that smug look off her face!..."Misty said, sounding petty.

Misty was not a quitter, and she wasn't going to throw in the towel now. She will NOT call it a day just yet.

2 hours later

Misty continued to try and cast minor, petty spells to either separate the couple or humiliate Star in some way.

However, she would either cause a mistake, an accident, some mispronunciation, miss her target, or Danny would still remain by her side and somehow make the spells backfire on her. The end result was the young sorceress now tired and mentally exhausted as the group of teens was ready to leave the mall now.

The young sorceress was very frustrated that all her attempts had failed, but she is really tired right now and had her fill with trying to antagonize her rival for the day.

"I've had it. I'm calling it a day today. I'm almost completely pooped right now..."Misty said, tired and finally admitting defeat for today.

Her spell book, however, didn't think that they were out of plans just yet.

"I may have an idea, Misty..."Her spell book said.

"Really? What is it?..."She asked.

"Not here. Let's go home first and then I shall explain everything to you. And I will explain everything to you, including the proper pronunciations..."He said, wanting some more privacy to explain everything to his protege.

Misty wasn't too sure about this, but she didn't have any other plans right now, so she reluctantly agreed.

"Fine...but I'm gonna have to take the bus home. I'm too tired to try another teleportation spell..."Misty said.

"Fair enough..."Her spell book said, before they both retired for the day.

"Still...are you sure about this? What if this spell backfires too...just like all the rest did?..."Misty asked, while her book responded with confidence.

"Do not worry, I will not allow that to happen. We just need to work smarter and exercise more patience, instead of keeping up these small attacks..."Her book explained.

"Just know that once this is over, Danny Fenton will be completely...bewitched by you..."He said, and Misty smiled in excitement.

"Then what are we waiting for. Come on..."Misty said, as she quickly cast another teleportation spell and was soon on her way home.

Unaware that the events down this path may lead to more than what she expects.
