Chapter 1
Earth 775
In a top-secret laboratory, a group of scientists worked tirelessly to create the ultimate symbiote. Their goal was to create a being that could fuse with other organisms and absorb their powers and abilities, creating a creature of unimaginable power.
Using the DNA of some of the most malevolent beings known to exist, including Carnage, Venom, Morbius, and Rogue, the scientists created the symbiote that would become Inferno. But in their quest for power, they underestimated the dangers of their creation.
The symbiote fused with the essence of the Spirit of Vengeance, granting it even more power and malevolence. The resulting creature was Inferno, a being of chaos and destruction, with power beyond measure.
Inferno was a symbiote, capable of absorbing the powers and abilities of any organism with superpowers it came into contact with. And when it absorbed the powers of a being, it also absorbed their life force, killing them in the process.
The greatest heroes of DC and Marvel banded together to stop Inferno, but even their combined might was not enough. They charged towards Inferno, their weapons and powers at the ready. But Inferno proved too strong, absorbing them one by one, growing more and more powerful with each passing moment.
As the heroes fell, Inferno absorbed their powers and abilities, consuming their life force and leaving behind nothing but empty husks. Its malevolent power grew stronger with each passing moment, as it roamed the earth, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
Spider-Man: "We need to stop this thing before it's too late!"
Superman: "I agree. Its power is growing with each passing moment. We can't let it continue to consume our powers."
Wonder Woman: "We must charge forward and attack it with all our might!"
Iron Man: "I'll coordinate with our teams to come up with a strategy. We need to hit it from all angles."
Batman: "I'll handle the tactical side of things. We need to make sure we're not just throwing ourselves at it without a plan."
Captain America: "I'll lead the charge. We need to show it that we're not afraid of it."
Inferno continued to travel across the earth, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. The heroes knew that they had to stop Inferno before it was too late, but they were running out of options. They had tried everything they could to stop Inferno, but nothing had worked.
The world was in chaos, as Inferno only absorbed beings with superpowers, and subjugated all beings without superpowers. Its army grew larger with each passing moment, as it consumed more and more beings with superpowers.
Spider-Man: "We need to come up with a new plan. What if we try to lure it into a trap?"
Superman: "It's worth a shot. But we need to make sure we have enough firepower to take it down."
Wonder Woman: "I'll lead the charge. We need to make sure we have enough time to set up the trap."
Iron Man: "I'll coordinate with our teams to make sure we have enough firepower. But we need to be careful. We don't want to lose anyone else."
Batman: "I'll handle the tactical side of things. We need to make sure we're not walking into another trap."
Captain America: "I'll lead the charge again. We need to show it that we're not backing down."
The remaining heroes gathered together for one final battle, knowing that it would be their last. They charged towards Inferno, their powers and weapons at the ready.
Superman: "Now!"
Wonder Woman: "Charge!"
Iron Man: "Fire!"
Batman: "Execute the plan!"
Captain America: "For the world!"
But Inferno was too powerful, absorbing their attacks and growing even stronger.
Spider-Man: "This isn't working. We need to try something else."
Superman: "We can't give up. We have to keep fighting!"
Wonder Woman: "But what if we're only making it stronger?"
Iron Man: "We have to try. We can't just give up."
Batman: "We need to come up with a new plan. Something that it won't be able to absorb."
Captain America: "We can do this! We just need to keep fighting!"
Inferno absorbed the powers and abilities of the last remaining heroes, consuming their life force and leaving behind nothing but empty husks.
Inferno: "Your heroes are nothing to me! I am the ultimate power in the universe! Bow before me, or be consumed by my flames!"
The world had fallen into darkness, as Inferno continued its path of destruction. The remaining civilians lived in constant fear of its next attack, knowing that they were powerless to stop it.
Inferno had become the ultimate destroyer, absorbing the powers and abilities of the greatest heroes to ever live, and subjugating all beings without superpowers. Its army of subjugated beings grew larger with each passing moment, as it roamed the earth, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
As Inferno roamed the barren wasteland of the world it had consumed, it became aware of the existence of the multiverse. It realized that there were countless other universes, each with their own unique beings and sources of power.
Inferno knew that if it could gain control of the multiverse, it would become the ultimate power in all of creation. And so, it set out on a new mission, to find other beings who could match its power and help it gain control of the multiverse.
Chapter 2
Earth 21674
Arachno-Goblin was not a natural creature, but rather the result of a twisted experiment. In a secret laboratory hidden deep beneath the city, a team of scientists had been conducting genetic experiments, combining the DNA of different supervillains in an attempt to create the ultimate weapon.
They began by splicing the DNA of Green Goblin, Venom, Sandman, The Lizard, Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Carnage, Hydro-Man, Morbius, and Man-Spider, creating a hybrid creature that was stronger, faster, and more resilient than any of its individual components.
But the scientists were not satisfied. They wanted to give their creation an even greater edge, and so they turned to the tentacles of Doctor Octopus. They grafted the tentacles onto the creature's back, allowing it to manipulate objects and move with incredible speed and agility.
The experiment was a success, but it had unforeseen consequences. The creature began to change, mutating in ways that the scientists could not have predicted. Its body grew larger, its limbs elongated and contorted, and its mind twisted and corrupted by the powers of the villains whose DNA it carried.
The creature broke out of the laboratory, tearing through the walls and fleeing into the city. It roamed the streets, attacking anyone who crossed its path. It was a monster, a fusion of the worst traits of some of the most dangerous supervillains in the city's history.
That's when Spider-Man entered the scene, determined to stop the creature and put an end to the madness. But as he battled Arachno-Goblin, he couldn't help but wonder how many more twisted experiments lay hidden beneath the city's streets, waiting to be unleashed on an unsuspecting world.
As Spider-Man battled Arachno-Goblin, he quickly realized that this was no ordinary foe. The creature was a fusion of some of the most powerful and dangerous supervillains in the city's history, and its abilities were unlike anything he had ever faced before.
Arachno-Goblin lunged forward, its claws slashing through the air with deadly precision. Spider-Man dodged the attack, flipping over the creature's head and delivering a powerful kick to its back. But Arachno-Goblin was quick to recover, its tentacles lashing out and wrapping around Spider-Man's arms, pulling him in close.
Spider-Man struggled to break free, but the tentacles were incredibly strong, and Arachno-Goblin's grip was unrelenting. The creature dragged him across the ground, slamming him into walls and buildings with bone-jarring force.
But Spider-Man refused to give up. With a burst of energy, he managed to break free from the tentacles' grip, flipping over Arachno-Goblin's head and landing a powerful blow to its back. The creature roared in pain, its body reverting briefly to its component parts before reforming into a new, even more terrifying form.
Arachno-Goblin's claws elongated, transforming into razor-sharp blades that glinted in the moonlight. Its eyes glowed with a malevolent energy, and its tentacles writhed and twisted, ready to strike.
Spider-Man knew he was in trouble. He had faced dangerous foes before, but nothing like this. Arachno-Goblin was a monster, a fusion of the worst traits of some of the most dangerous supervillains in the city's history.
But he refused to back down. With a fierce determination, he launched himself at Arachno-Goblin, his fists flying. The two combatants clashed in a flurry of punches and kicks, each one trying to gain the upper hand.
As Spider-Man landed the final blow on Arachno-Goblin, the creature's body shuddered and collapsed to the ground, defeated. Its limbs spasmed and twitched as if struggling to maintain its monstrous form, before finally relaxing into stillness.
As the dust settled, Spider-Man approached the fallen creature cautiously, unsure of what to expect. But as he drew closer, he saw that the creature's monstrous appearance was fading, its body reverting to a more regular appearance.
The grafted tentacles of Doctor Octopus remained on its back, a reminder of the twisted experiment that had created this monstrosity. But the rest of the creature's body had shifted back to a more human shape, revealing the features of the various supervillains whose DNA had been used to create it.
Spider-Man couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for the fallen creature. It had been created through the twisted machinations of a group of mad scientists, and had likely never known anything other than pain and suffering.
But there was no time for reflection. The city still faced countless dangers, and Spider-Man knew that he had to remain vigilant, always ready to protect the citizens of New York from whatever new threats might emerge. As he turned to leave, he couldn't help but wonder what other twisted experiments lay hidden beneath the city's streets, waiting to be unleashed on an unsuspecting world.
Chapter 3
Earth 616/234
It was a typical day for Peter Parker in Queens. Little did he know his life was about to change forever.
While out on patrol, a massive cosmic rift opened up in the sky over New York City. Before Spider-Man knew what was happening, he was pulled through the rift into another universe. He found himself in a town called Blue Valley. The rift then closed behind him.
Spider-Man swung around to try and get his bearings. Everything seemed strangely familiar yet different. He noticed a battle going on below between a group of teen superheroes and villains with cosmic powers. His spider-sense tingled as he saw a heroine with a glowing staff - it was Stargirl! But how was she real in this universe?
The battle ended with Stargirl and her friends the victors. Spider-Man landed and introduced himself, pulling back his mask to reveal he was Peter Parker, a hero from another Earth. Stargirl took off her mask in turn, showing she was Courtney Whitmore.
"You're Spider-Man?" Courtney asked in disbelief. Peter explained how he was pulled through a rift into this parallel world. Courtney filled him in on how she became Stargirl and helped form the new Justice Society of America.
Peter was stunned to learn that superheroes and villains were common in this universe. But without a way to return home, he feared he might be stuck here.
"I'm sorry you're trapped here," Courtney said, "But we could really use someone like you in the JSA."
Peter smiled underneath his mask, realizing this might be the start of an exciting new partnership, fighting crime with Stargirl in this brave new world. His life as a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was never going to be the same.
Courtney offered Peter a place to stay until he figured out a way back home. Peter gratefully accepted, hoping to get to know this superhero from another Earth who was quickly capturing his heart.
Chapter 4
Earth 21674
As Inferno and Arachno-Goblin wreaked havoc on New York City, the heroes of the Marvel universe knew they had to act fast to stop the two powerful and dangerous villains.
Inferno, with his fiery powers and supernatural abilities, was causing chaos and destruction wherever he went, while Arachno-Goblin with his spider-like abilities and goblin-themed weaponry, was terrorizing the city with his menacing presence.
The heroes of the Marvel universe, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Captain America, joined forces to stop the powerful villains. However, their combined efforts proved to be no match for Inferno and Arachno-Goblin, who used their unique combination of abilities and traits to outmaneuver and overpower the heroes.
As the battle raged on, the heroes realized that they needed a new strategy to defeat the villains. They decided to split up into two teams, with one team focusing on taking down Inferno, while the other team focused on stopping Arachno-Goblin.
As the battle between the heroes and villains raged on, Inferno and Arachno-Goblin realized that they were stronger together than they were apart. They decided to fuse together, creating a new, even more powerful villain known as Inferno-Goblin.
Inferno-Goblin was an almost unbeatable opponent, with the ability to absorb the life force and powers of the heroes, while also attacking with razor-sharp blades, pumpkin bombs, and other goblin-themed weaponry. The heroes had to be even more careful not to use their powers too much, as they risked not only having them absorbed but also losing their lives.
As Inferno-Goblin attacked the heroes, he taunted them with his newfound power. "You cannot defeat me! I am the ultimate villain!"
The heroes fought bravely, but it was all in vain. Inferno-Goblin was simply too powerful for them to defeat. He absorbed their life forces one by one, growing stronger with each passing moment.
In the end, the heroes lay defeated, their life forces drained by Inferno-Goblin. The city was in ruins, and Inferno-Goblin stood triumphant, surveying his victory.
Inferno-Goblin had proven to be the ultimate villain, a force to be reckoned with. And as he looked out over the destruction he had wrought, he knew that no one would ever be able to stand in his way again.
Chapter 6
Inferno-Goblin's rampage continued, leaving a trail of destruction across the multiverse. After decimating Earth 21674, Inferno-Goblin tore through a portal into another universe.
Earth-2 stood no chance against the combined might of Inferno-Goblin. The Justice Society of America battled fiercely but were quickly overwhelmed. Inferno-Goblin absorbed the powers of heroes like Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, and Sandman, growing even more powerful with each hero he consumed.
The cities of Earth-2 fell before Inferno-Goblin's onslaught. With no heroes left to oppose it, Inferno-Goblin set its sights on even greater conquests, tearing open portals to other universes.
Earth-3 trembled as the Crime Syndicate faced Inferno-Goblin's wrath. Though powerful individually, even the combined might of Ultraman, Owlman, and Superwoman were no match for Inferno-Goblin. One by one, they fell before Inferno-Goblin's onslaught.
Inferno-Goblin continued its interdimensional rampage, laying waste to Earth-S, Earth-X, and countless other alternate realities. No universe was safe from its hungry flames and goblin weaponry. Heroes and villains alike were consumed, their powers and life forces merely fueling Inferno-Goblin's ever-growing might. The rampage of Inferno-Goblin continued unabated across the multiverse, laying waste to countless Earths and universes. After devastating Earth-616 and absorbing the powers of heroes like the Avengers, Inferno-Goblin tore through a portal to another universe.
It ended up on the Earth where 616 Peter Parker had been pulled to by the cosmic rift - Earth-234, home of Stargirl and the JSA.
Stargirl and her teammates Patriot, Hourman, and Dr. Mid-Nite fought bravely against the all-powerful Inferno-Goblin. But their combined might was no match for the villain's flaming powers and goblin weaponry. One by one, the JSA heroes fell before Inferno-Goblin's onslaught.
Stargirl's cosmic staff flared with energy as she attacked Inferno-Goblin head on, determined to protect this world that had become her adoptive home. But her efforts were in vain. Inferno-Goblin knocked the staff from her hands and backhanded her into a wall, knocking her unconscious.
With Stargirl defeated, the rest of the JSA quickly followed. Inferno-Goblin absorbed their powers and life forces, growing stronger with each one consumed.
Peter Parker witnessed the battle from afar, helpless to intervene without his Spider-Man costume and equipment. He was filled with grief as he saw Stargirl - the brave heroine who had befriended and supported him - fall before Inferno-Goblin.
Rage and determination filled Peter's heart. Even without his Spider-Man powers, he knew he had to intervene and try to save Stargirl - the woman who was capturing his heart with every moment they spent together.
Peter charged at Inferno-Goblin with reckless abandon, tackling the villain and pummeling him with his fists. Though Peter's blows had little effect, Inferno-Goblin was surprised by Peter's ferocity and tenacity.
In that moment, Stargirl began to stir. Seeing Peter's selfless act of love, she grabbed her cosmic staff and used its last remnants of power to deliver a final blast at Inferno-Goblin. Inferno-Goblin roared in fury as Stargirl's blast hit it square in the chest. Though the attack was powerful, it was not enough to completely vanquish the combined might of Inferno and Arachno-Goblin.
Inferno-Goblin staggered back, its flaming body scorched but still intact. It turned its malevolent gaze toward Peter and Stargirl, hatred burning in its eyes.
"Fools!" it bellowed. "You think you can defeat me?!"
In one swift motion, Inferno-Goblin lunged at Peter and Stargirl. It grabbed Stargirl's cosmic staff and snapped it in two, rendering it useless. Stargirl cried out in anguish as her most powerful weapon was destroyed.
Inferno-Goblin then turned its attention to Peter. Though Peter fought bravely, he was no match for the villain's immense power.
Inferno-Goblin's flaming aura engulfed Peter, absorbing his abilities and life force. Stargirl watched in horror as Peter grew still in the tentacles' grasp. Her cosmic staff already lay broken at her feet, and she knew she did not have the power to defeat Inferno-Goblin on her own.
As Peter's lifeless husk dropped to the ground, sorrow and grief flooded Stargirl's heart. Inferno-Goblin had taken the life of the man she loved, the outsider from another universe who had become so dear to her.
Stargirl cradled Peter's lifeless body, tears streaming down her face. Her world lay in ruins and the man she loved had been stolen from her in an instant.
Inferno-Goblin gloated at its victory, aware of the seeds of destruction it had sown. Stargirl's love for Peter now fueled her desire for vengeance. She swore to him then that she would find a way to defeat the villain, no matter the cost.
Stargirl gently closed Peter's eyes and laid his body down with utmost care. Rising to her feet, she faced Inferno-Goblin once more - grief-stricken but resolute.
The broken shards of her cosmic staff responded, sensing her will, her love, her fury - though she knew it would not be enough to defeat Inferno-Goblin alone. She would need help.
Stargirl turned away from Inferno-Goblin and fled to the ruins of the JSA headquarters. There she found her allies - wounded but alive. They had seen the battle from afar and now stood ready to fight at Stargirl's side, avenging Peter's death.
Together they launched an assault on Inferno-Goblin, though they knew victory would not come easily. Many would fall before Inferno-Goblin could be defeated. But for Stargirl, that was a price she was willing to pay to avenge the man she loved.
Inferno-Goblin unleashed its flames, engulfing Stargirl's allies one by one. Though they fought valiantly, they began to fall. As Stargirl stared into the inferno, she thought of Peter's smile, the light in his eyes, and his selfless love. Those memories would give her the strength to finally destroy this powerful villain, even if it cost Stargirl her life.
With a cry of anguish and fury, Stargirl charged at Inferno-Goblin, blazing remnants of her staff held high. She would avenge Peter - whatever it took.
Stargirl charged at Inferno-Goblin, fragments of her cosmic staff ablaze with light. But the villain was far more powerful, drawing on the combined might of Inferno and Arachno-Goblin.
Inferno-Goblin's flaming tentacles lashed out, smashing the remnants of Stargirl's staff and knocking her to the ground. She rolled across the scorched earth, coming to rest beside the fallen bodies of her allies.
Stargirl's vision blurred with tears as she realized defeat was imminent. Her hope of avenging Peter seemed foolish now. She crawled over to where his lifeless body lay and took his cold hand in hers.
Inferno-Goblin towered over them, gloating in victory. "You challenged me at your peril," the villain bellowed. "Now you will suffer the consequences."
Inferno-Goblin unleashed a wave of flames that engulfed Stargirl and Peter's body. Stargirl screamed in agony as the fire burned away her suit, searing her flesh. She held tighter to Peter's hand, determined to stay by his side even in death.
As Stargirl's vision began to fade, she thought of how brightly her cosmos had burned for a brief moment when she and Peter's worlds collided. Now those worlds were ash, lost to the inferno of this cruel multiverse.
Inferno-Goblin's cackling laughter was the last thing Stargirl heard as the flames consumed her. She closed her eyes and let go, slipping into the darkness holding tightly to the memory of Peter's smile. The legions of heroes who had fallen this day had lost, but their sacrifice would inspire those who rose up to challenge the darkness once more.
Chapter 7
Earth-199999
As Stargirl's body burned, the fragments of her cosmic staff sensed their mistress' demise. Infused with her spirit, they blamed themselves for failing her.
The staff shards began to glow, drawing on the last remnants of Stargirl's powers to open a portal. One shard streaked through, emerging in another universe - Earth-199999, a world where the Avengers and the Lantern Corps exist in the same universe.
The shard sensed this world had heroes who could challenge Inferno Goblin, but required its aid to amplify their abilities. The staff longed to revive Stargirl and Peter, but knew that was beyond even its power. All it could do now was help avenge them.
The staff shard descended upon Danny Rand, the Immortal Iron Fist. Though powerful in his own right, Danny knew he could not face Inferno Goblin alone. The staff shard merged with his chi centers, greatly amplifying his power.
Danny traveled to the ruined universe dominated by Inferno Goblin. He faced the flaming villain, whose powers seemed unstoppable. But Danny was filled with hope and determination - hope that good could still triumph, fired by love for those who had sacrificed everything.
The White Lantern ring glowed brightly on Danny's finger, channeling that hope into awesome power. Immense white constructs took shape - raging bulls, dragons and more that Danny willed into being. They clashed with Inferno Goblin's fiery minions, evoking awe even in this universe left in ashes.
Danny's Iron Fist glowed with the brilliance of a thousand suns as he fought Inferno Goblin head on. The villain threw everything it had at Danny - flame, goblin weaponry and sheer malice. But Danny would not be moved.
Danny Rand charged at Inferno Goblin, invoking the power of his White Lantern ring. But the flaming villain was far too powerful.
Inferno Goblin's tentacles lashed out, grabbing Danny and effortlessly wresting the White Lantern ring from his finger. Danny struggled desperately but could not break free.
Inferno Goblin held the ring up in triumph. "Foolish mortal," the villain snarled. "You thought you could challenge me?" The ring flared with light one last time before shattering in Inferno Goblin's grip.
Danny looked on in horror as the White Lantern ring was destroyed. Without its power, he stood no chance against Inferno Goblin. The flaming tentacles tightened around him, pulling him close.
Inferno Goblin's fiery aura began to creep over Danny's body. "Your chi and life force will make a worthy addition to my own," the villain gloated. Danny tried to summon his Iron Fist but it was too late - Inferno Goblin had already begun absorbing his powers and life energy.
Danny felt his energy draining away as Inferno Goblin fed on his chi. The slivers of Stargirl's staff within him flickered weakly before going dark forever.
With his last strength, Danny thought of Stargirl and Peter, two souls he had hoped to avenge. He took some small solace in knowing that their sacrifice had at least summoned a champion to challenge the darkness, if only for a short time.
Then Danny Rand, the Immortal Iron Fist, faded into nothingness - consumed by the flames of Inferno Goblin's infernal wrath. The light within him extinguished, another innocent soul lost to the darkness that had consumed this ruined multiverse.
