Disclaimer: I do NOT own the Chosen. Dallas Jenkins does and I am NOT making any money off of this. I only own my Original Characters: Hanna, Maya, Faith and Aria. And none of the events with Hanna, Maya, Faith or Aria happened in the bible. Thank you and God Bless you!

AN: Now...I'm about to do something that may be so unpopular...but I'm going to do it anyway. I have a new OC. Aria, the daughter of Nicodemus. Now before anybody says 'Oh here we go..' Let me say one thing. I am not doing this to be disrespectful. Never in a million years. I just love Jonathan Roumie and I love Jesus. So yes. You can add Jesus/OC to this fanfiction. Plus this part of the fanfiction is sort of an outlet for me in a way so...Yeah. Oh and so everyone is clear I USED to watch Pretty Little Liars. I don't anymore since I have been saved. But I still love the names. Okay that was long! Onto the story.

Oh! And Happy Birthday Jonathan! Love you! (Oh and by the way. I'm one of the fans that can differentiate between you and Jesus so no worries. I don't think you're Jesus. Just watched one of you're Instagram videos and saw that you had issues with that. Nope! Not me. I know you're Jonathan and Jesus is Jesus!)

"Abba what was this preacher's name?" a 25-year-old Aria asked her father Nicodemus as he rushed around getting ready for some meeting, which was odd to her because it was at night.

"His name is..."

His voice trailed off as he remembered what had happened all those years ago in the temple. It was two days after passover and he had remembered a boy who was teaching. All the Rabbis had been completely shocked including himself that this boy knew so much. But he remembered Aria had been there as well. She had fallen in love with him from the moment she had seen him. And after all these years, he had forgotten the name of the boy his daughter had fallen in love with. Until now.

"Jesus. It can't be you're Jesus though!"

"Abba how many people are named Jesus that you know of?" Aria asked, her eyes lighting up.

She had prayed for months and years that she and Jesus would meet again and she was just starting to lose hope until now. "Abba I have to go with you. I have to see that it is him!"

Nicodemus looked down at his daughter who was now in front of him and sighed, placing his hands on her shoulders, pushing some of her long hair back. How could he say no to her? She was closer to him than she was her mother and he wouldn't admit it to anyone, but she was his little girl still. After all these years.

"Okay, okay you can come with me. We will see if the man of you're dreams and the Messiah are the same person."

Aria's eyes widened now as she rushed to get her cloak as it was cold outside. And windy. As soon as she knew it, she was walking through the streets of Capernaum behind her dad.

"Okay where did you hear Jesus was the Messiah?" she asked quietly now as she didn't want anyone to hear. She knew better than anyone that if anyone found out he would be dead and she didn't want that.

Nicodemus took her hand gently as they walked along. "He performed a miracle my darling. He told a paralytic to get up and walk and...it happened."

Aria's eyes widened, remembering Jesus' light brown eyes that had bore into her soul almost. She had known he was the one for her. So how did she miss the part where he told her he was the Messiah? All these thoughts raced through her head now as she and her father continued to walk until they reached a rooftop and that's when she saw him. She knew it was him. She knew it was her Jesus. And here he was to save not only her but the whole world.

"Jesus?" she asked softly as her father let go of her hand, letting her walk towards him a little bit.

The man slowly turned around now, and that's when she knew. She knew those eyes anywhere. But he didn't seem surprised to see her. "Aria" he said softly as he opened his arms, winking at Nicodemus, who stood back in shock.

She smiled and rushed into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. "It's really you!" she exclaimed, holding onto his cloak as tightly as she could now as he buried his face in her hair.

"I've been looking for you everywhere!" she exclaimed now as she pulled back and took his face in her hands. "Why didn't you tell me then?"

"It wasn't my time yet" he said softly as he ran a hand through her hair as she played with his own dark curls. "But now it is."

He leaned down and kissed her deeply, pulling her against his chest.

"I've missed you" Aria whispered against his lips softly before kissing him quickly once more, turning around in his arms to face her father. "Abba it's him!"

"I can see that darling" he said as he stood in shock still, trying to wrap his mind around this whole situation. The man his daughter loved was the one who came to save the world.

"I don't know where to begin I have so many questions" Nicodemus said as he placed a hand on his head, a little dizzy from all that just happened.

"Shall we sit?" Jesus asked, taking Aria's hand in his own now, motioning to the table.

"Of course."

The three of them sat down now, Aria next to Jesus as he held her hand tightly, interlocking their fingers together. The conversation between him and her dad was a blur, but the words that stuck with her were these.

"God loves the world in this way. That he sent his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish. But have eternal life."

"Can I follow you?" she asked softly now as Jesus wrapped an arm around her, kissing her forehead.

"I would love that more than anything darling. But not just yet. This first part of our journey will be a bit dangerous. I need to know that you will be safe and then I will send for you."

Aria's eyes filled with tears as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Do you promise?" she asked, anxiety filling her voice now.

"I promise Aria. You will never have to live another day without me once my mother brings you to me."

"I love you" she whispered, kissing him once more, her arms around his neck.

"I love you too" he murmured into her lips before she and her father slipped back into the night.

End of Flashback

"Aria?" Nicodemus asked as he walked into his daughter's room.

The girl was curled up on her window seat gazing out on the busy streets of Jerusalem. She had been like this for days and Nicodemus really didn't know what to do. Let her go into the unknown and possibly be in danger or continue to watch her sulk around the house and become more and more depressed. He noticed a small tear fall down her cheek as she turned to face him and in that split second, he made up his mind.

"Pack up you're bags honey. I'm taking you to Nazareth"

He wasn't going to let one more day go by and watch his daughter suffer without the man she loved. He was ending this today. Aria smiled now and ran to her father, hugging him happily.

"Thank you Abba!" she exclaimed happily before running to grab a bag. She quickly packed an extra dress and a couple items she knew she would need.

She wasn't an idiot. She knew the journey that she was choosing to go on and it wouldn't be an easy one. She was following the man she loved. The man that she knew some people hated now and were trying to convict him of false prophecy. Something her dad hated more than anything. He hated that one of his best students was doing something like this.

"Sweetheart you know that it is hard for me to let you go" he said now as he watched her pack up her belongings. "I know you love this man more than you love anything in the whole world and that is the only reason I am letting you go to him now."

"I know Abba. I know that this is a sacrifice for you and I am sorry that I won't see you for a time but I will be safe. I promise. And thank you for letting me follow him."

Nicodemus sighed and placed a hand over his daughter's stilling her movement for a moment. "To love someone for so long without even seeing them in person. I can't imagine what the pain must have been like all this time."

Aria sighed and hugged her father tightly, hiding her face in his shoulder. "It was painful" she murmured softly.

"You see this is why you're mother and I never forced you to get married. We knew what was going on."

Aria wiped her eyes and continued to pack up. "Well I'm happy now Abba. You don't have to worry about that."

"I can see that my child and I love seeing you happy. I truly do. To not see you're smile is torture for you're mother and I."

"Well you don't have to worry about that anymore" Aria said as she swung her bag over her shoulder. "You ready to go?"

"After you" Nicodemus said as he motioned to the door of her bedroom. He sure was going to miss his little girl.
