(Meanwhile, a manor somewhere in Queens...)

*BAM! BUM! BUM! BAM!*

Inside the gym room, a platinum blonde girl in her late teens dressed in her sports outfit and wearing white leather gloves, was practicing her skills against a punching dummy. She delivered multiple hooks and jabs to the dummy in rapid succession. Sweats began to trickle down to her black tank top like rain. She ignored it and kept on punching the dummy. The girl wouldn't stop, despite panting and feeling a little exhausted. She delivered those punches like a machine gun, fueled with raging fury and burning passion for vengeance.

"That's good, Felicia. Keep it up! You're doing good!" The words of her late father echoed in her mind.

She started recalling the past... The time she had spent with her father. The things he had taught to her for her own protection. And the thing she had promised to him: to be a better person than him–something her father wanted too. It was the last time they talked before one powerful man had taken him away from her. The very day everything changed for her.

"You're doing great! Okay, that's enough for today... My, you can't imagine how proud I am of you. My daughter has grown so strong... Remember Felicia. I always love you. Remember that, okay?"

The recollection of those memories, made her grit her teeth, let out a scream, and lash out at the dummy. Metal feline claws, colored in black, popped out from her gloves, and she swang them towards the dummy's head. Its head fell to the floor, before being mercilessly stomped by the blonde girl.

She just stood there... The claws slowly going back to her gloves, as if hiding from its owner's fury. Eventually, the raging fury disappeared, bit by bit... leaving only traces of anger behind. The girl then unstrapped her gloves, carrying them with her to the dining room, and put them on the dining table.

The girl sat down on one of the dining chairs, straightening her legs, while still panting after the practice earlier. Suddenly, something vibrated from the pocket of her grey leggings that caught her attention. She pulled it out of her leggings' pocket, revealing a white smartphone. When she looked at its screen and noticed a notification from an app, she groaned.

"Great, just great. Well, Felicia... You got another assignment piling up..." She sighed, recalling a few of the college assignments she hadn't finished yet. Simply because of her planning her revenge on the man who hurt her father... Perhaps she should do it some other time and focus on her college first...

Now, it was as if reality gave Felicia another burden: a reminder. A reminder that dragged her down to the deepest hole, along with other things. She slouched against her chair, closing her eyes, and shook her head... Trying to forget the burdens of her life for a moment... But she couldn't.

Then, something slithered between her legs, rubbing its head, while purring. Felicia raised her eyebrow, later realizing it was her pet cat. She let out a chuckle, forgetting her burdens for the moment. Her hands reached to her black and white cat and rubbed its fur. "Hey, kitty kitty. Who's my little kitty, hm?" She giggled as she petted her cat and smiled as it purred and meowed. Afterwards, the cat left Felicia, wandering around the manor.

The blonde picked up the TV remote on the dining table and turned on the TV in front of her, swiping random channels just to kill the time. After that, she stood up from her chair and went to the fridge, getting a mug. Meanwhile in the background, there were news reports. Nothing really interested Felicia while filling her mug with cool water from the water dispenser. Until one certain news report about a robbery caught her attention. She froze for a moment, as she stopped filling her mug. Felicia held her mug, turned around and approached the TV, sitting down on her chair. Her eyes were on the TV screen and her ears listening intently, picking every detail from words spoken by the reporter while drinking the water. And before her, was a security footage of a "quilt man" or "Shocker" - as the news dubbed him - and his goons fighting against Scarlet Spider and Spider-Man.

"You..." was the only word she uttered. Her grey eyes widened in shock and horror. And for a moment, she experienced a flashback of the time her father was taken away from her...

"Herman, Lincoln. Why are you two here?" Walter, Felicia's father, asked Shocker and Tombstone with a tone of surprise, who had just arrived at the manor.

"A war between Kingpin and Hammerhead is about to break. And Kingpin wants all hands on deck," Tombstone, the hulking pale man answered.

"Including you, Walter. The big boss needs someone like you again," Shocker added.

The greying old man eyed his former partners and shook his head. "No."

"No?" Shocker raised his eyebrow under the mask.

"I'm not interested in crime anymore. It isn't my way of life. I already have a family!"

Shocker and Tombstone exchanged looks for a moment, before the pale man turned his eyes to Walter and choked the old man. "Last chance, Hardy. Whaddaya say, hm?"

"N-N..." he tried to gather his words as Tombstone squeezed his neck more, "No. I'm n-not a thief anymore."

Tombstone gave a little smile, truly impressed. "Defiant to the end. I respect that, old friend," he said to Walter, then tossing him to nearby furnitures.

Coughing as he stood up, the old man told his former partners, "No matter what... I won't join you in Kingpin's war!"

Shocker then walked closer to Walter, pressing and holding down the button on one of his gauntlets. "Poor choice of words, Hardy. The Kingpin expects complete loyalty." He aimed the gauntlet at Walter's head and released a furious blast, which destroyed the man's head, splattering its contents and blood everywhere. "And he does not take no for an answer."

Both he and Tombstone left the manor, but before giving one look at a camera recording them, knowing how it will put terror to the Hardy family.

Felicia was watching the footage of what happened to her father. All the bloodshed in the hands of Shocker and Tombstone... Her eyes widened in horror. She just stood still, unable to comprehend what she watched. The girl could hear sobs from nearby...sobs of her mother.

At that moment, her hand...clutched into a fist. Her nails digging deeply into her skin and she gritted her teeth. Determination were reflected in her eyes. And in her heart...seed of vengeance began to grow.

(Present day...)

She was speechless. Silent... The shock and horror in her eyes slowly faded, only to be replaced by the raging fury and burning passion for vengeance she had earlier. Her other hand curled into a fist, shaking–as if wanting to be released from its cage after thousands of years. "No more delay. No more," she thought to herself. Then, she picked up the TV remote and turned it off. She put down the remote on the table, stood up and headed towards one special room in the manor.

Felicia scanned her eyes and fingerprints to bypass the security. Once she entered the room, there was equipment that belonged to her father. Before her, was an outfit of her own making, consisting of a pair of "cat ears", a black mask and goggles with AR capabilities, a black leather jacket, black leather pants, and a pair of white sound-absorbing sneakers.

Upon laying her eyes on a map plastered on the wall, with a location circled red... A malicious smile formed on her face.

"You destroyed my family's life. And starting tomorrow night... I'll gladly return the favor."
