Graham knocks on the door not long after Ace has walked in the door, "good evening, let me just get into something a little more comfortable."

"Ok."

"Make yourself at home." Graham sits on the couch as Sorin climbs onto the counter in the kitchen. Ace comes out of her bedroom and walks up to Graham. "How was your day with Ryan?"

"It was good."

"That's good," they share a smile. "Should we order in or make something?"

"Order in."

"Ok, I'll pay."

"But."

They stand up, "I get this date," she smiles, "and you get the next one."

"Agreed," he takes out his hand to shake her and she takes it throwing her head back in laughter, he chuckles a little bit, they start to hug as they start to separate and their eyes connect, as their heads start to move closer a glass breaks in the kitchen they jump apart. "I'll go clean that up, and you order the food."

"Ok." By the time Graham has entered the kitchen Sorin had run off to somewhere in the house, Graham finds the dustpan and cleans up the broken glass. Ace goes on her phone to order food and decides on pizza, after getting the order confirmation heads to the kitchen.

"How does pizza sound?"

"Pizza sounds brilliant."

"Good, I ordered that for dinner. Where's Sorin?"

"Don't know he had already run off by the time I got in here."

"I have a feeling I know where he went, I know his favorite hiding spot.'' Ace heads off to her home office and sees Sorin hiding under her desk. "Come here Sorin everything is ok you are not in trouble," she coos. Sorin slinks out from underneath the desk and into his owner's arms. Ace walks out to the kitchen with her cat in her arms and sees Graham setting the table. "Graham?"

"Hopefully you don't mind that I found the plates and set the table."

"Of course, it is, have you met Sorin yet?"

"Not properly." He walks up to Ace and her black cat. "Hello there Sorin."

"Meow."

"May I pet you?"

"Meow," Graham scratches underneath the cat's chin.

"PURRRRRRRRRRRRRR."

"I think he likes you."

"He's adorable, just like his mum."

"Oh Graham," she smiles at him. "You don't have to try and impress me."

"I was trying to flirt with you."

Setting down her cat she saunters up to him, "you don't have to try," she looks into his eyes. "Graham," they continue to get closer, but the doorbell goes off, "can you get us some beer from the fridge?"

"I can." Ace goes and gets the pizza and comes in carrying it like a waitress does a platter of plates. They sit down to eat. "What is a favorite memory of yours?"

"So, way back when I was still new to the TARDIS and time travel, the Doctor and I landed in 1963 at Coal School, where there were a bunch of Daleks from two different factions. You know the bat that I have?"

"I do."

"That is my second one like that. When we were there the Doctor gifted me a bat that he had the Hand of Omega give power to."

"The Hand of Omega?"

"Time Lord technology. When he gave it to me I snuck out of the house we were staying at, and a Dalek called me small. I ended up beating up that Dalek and a few more with that bat. The Doctor did destroy it, but right before I left the TARDIS he gave me a new bat powered by the Hand of Omega."

"That's awesome."

"What about you?"

"It was when Ryan called me Grandad for the first time, when he stopped me from killing the alien that killed Grace. Though Ryan and I have been known to blow a few things up during our travels."

"Like what?"

"Some Cybermen and most recently the Dalek fleet."

"Wicked," Ace laughs as the two continue eating sneaking glances at the other smiling when they catch the other looking. "Graham?"

"Yes?" Ace leans across the table a hand coming to rest along Graham's cheek and brings her lips to his as their lips officially meet both of their eyes closed and Graham brings his hand to cradle Ace's cheek too. After they break apart for some air, both open their eyes slowly and share a small smile. They both stand up and meet on the side of the table. Ace brings her arms around Graham's neck and raises on her feet to meet up with Graham's height of 5'9" from her 5' 2" height, his arms go around her waist and they again kiss, this one just as slow as the one from before. Bodies mold together as lips move in synchronization. When they feel something rubbing against their legs they break apart.

"Sorin," Ace sighs.

"Meow." She bends down to pick up her cat, "meow."

"Does someone want kisses too?"

"Meow." They both share a laugh as Ace kisses the head of her cat and puts him down then takes a swig of her beer. They both head to the couch and face each other.

Biting her lip, "was that ok?"

"It was more than ok Ace, I kissed you back both times didn't I."

"You did." Graham moves closer and anticipation Ace closes her eyes as they kiss again. Graham's phone goes off this time.

He looks at it, "it's Ryan."

"Answer it," he picks up as Ace settles against Graham's arm.

"Ryan."

"HELLOOO."

"Are you drunk?"

"Maybe a little."

"Where are you?"

"At the bar?"

"I know you are at a bar, but which one?"

"The one that is red," Ryan slurs.

"That doesn't help me Ryan, why don't you ask someone who works there."

"Ok," Ryan goes in and drunkenly asks where he is at, "it's called The Tapestry."

"I will be there soon."

"Is Ryan ok?"

"Just slightly drunk."

"You better go," Ace stands up and so does Graham.

"I know, hopefully we can have a repeat of tonight soon."

"We can, any night I am free all this week."

"Good, I will call you after I get Ryan to bed and make sure he is ok." Graham leans to give Ace a good night kiss. "Goodnight Ace."

"Goodnight Graham." On the way to pick up Ryan, Graham can't stop whistling.

"Thank you, Granddad."

"Of course, you know I am not going to let you live this down." He drives off starting to whistle again thinking about Ace.

"Please stop whistling."

They arrive home Graham gets Ryan some bread and puts him to bed. "Hello Ace."

"Hello Graham, how was it getting Ryan home?"

"Not bad, he is now sleeping."

"That's good."

"It is, I have never seen him drunk."

"I was just a few years older than he is when I left the TARDIS and the Doctor always refused to let me drink even when I was of age. When I got back, I got drunk a few times, well more than a few. I had no family to rely on. One day I decided to get everything together and use the money I had stolen from the Doctor and start my charity."

"You took money from the Doctor?"

"I did, one of the many times he angered me and took a little bit from his wallet, now it's been paid back many times over helping out those who needed it."

"That is your good heart right there, always helping those who need it."

"Yeah," Ace leans back against the bed and yawns.

"I better let you go and sleep."

"I am tired because we had Daleks everywhere. I had to fight them away from A Charitable Earth and didn't sleep much in case I needed to prepare some Nitro. Do you want to come by my work for lunch tomorrow?"

"I do, see you tomorrow, Ace."

"You definitely will Graham, good night."

"Good night, Ace." Graham hangs up and he too goes to bed sleeping pleasantly dreaming of the one he kissed that night.
